If you were in a relationship with Sigma, you probably would've been a regular patron, casino staff member, or member of the DOA. And like most, you had been misled by his calm and put-together persona as the Sky Casino's manager. However, the start of your initial friendship would've begun when you caught him in one of his breakdowns and comforted him. This instantly put you on his radar since he isn't used to such genuine kindness without the other party expecting something in return. He would be distant at first, but with a bit more time, your constant check-ins on his mental health (because you're a sweetheart), and him possibly checking your intentions with his ability, he'll relent and give into your affections.
For your romantic relationship to begin, however, you'd most likely be the one to confess—although he is pretty apparent to most about his adoration for you. He would be a flustered mess whether you confess in public or private. He has some insecurity issues, so he is stunned that someone as sweet as you would ever love someone like him.
This man has a soft spot for every love language, though it depends on whether you are both in public. He isn't super affectionate when other people are around, both because of his shyness and his manager persona. However, he makes up for it tenfold in private.
At the beginning of your relationship, his primary gesture of affection is buying you (expensive) presents. He doesn't know how to show his love otherwise without making a total fool of himself, so he gives you things he either knows you would like or that remind him of you. After you've been in your relationship for a couple of months and settled, he'll move away from this love language (though he still does get you a lot of stuff).
Another love language habit he picked up at the start of your relationship is his dedication to caring for you. He cleans up after you, helps you manage different chores and duties, and possibly cooks for you (if his staff doesn't). At first, he feels like he needs to earn your love. However, unlike gift-giving, he continues to care for you like this even after he realizes he doesn't have to. You care for him, so he wants to take care of you. ♡
His favorite love language is spending quality time with you. He has never had somewhere or someone to belong to besides the casino, so being constantly reminded of your relationship in such a subtle way both refreshes and reassures him. It doesn't matter what you're doing, whether you have a date at an upscale restaurant or stay in to watch movies and wear face masks. He loves spending time with you more than anything and feels himself falling deeper and deeper in love every second you spend together.
He is not used to things such as praise and physical affection. The first time you hugged him, he locked up and stood as stiff as a board. It's not that he doesn't enjoy it (in fact, he secretly adores it)—he just isn't used to it. Also, any kind of praise from you makes his face turn rose-red. At first, he isn't entirely convinced that you're doing and saying these things without expecting something in return. But after many reassurances, he melts whenever you praise or love on him. Just keep it private; he's got to keep his calm facade to his staff and patrons.
He isn't the type to refer to you by your name outside of a work setting, often settling for a simple "dear" or "love" whenever you're alone. However, in those early morning hours when his mind is hazy and you're snuggled in each other's arms, he can't help but slip out a simple "honey" or "darling" as he holds you closer.
Now, if you're not in the Decay of the Angel, he will do everything to keep you far, far away from the other members—especially Dostoevsky (sorry, I still love you Fedya ♡). He doesn't want you to get involved with them in the slightest, especially with him knowing how dangerous each member is. The last thing he would want is for you to be used against him. Though it'll probably be in vain for him to hide your relationship since the other members have multiple ways of uncovering it, he is adamant that they don't socialize with you. And for the most part, the other members listen to him—besides Nikolai, of course.
If you weren't aware of his involvement prior to your relationship starting, he would eventually admit it to you because you have earned his complete trust. He doesn't want to have secrets in your relationship. He'll be mentally prepared for you to leave, but if you stay and show empathy for him (which, come on, you should), it'll deepen your relationship even further.
Whenever he has to do things for the DOA or leave for a prolonged period, he always has a prepared gift basket filled to the brim with your favorite self-care items and snacks. He hates being away from you more than anything, but you both know that you can't always be side-by-side. He is more affectionate before he has to leave and constantly reassures you that if you need anything at all, you can talk to his staff or call him—he would break DOA protocol for you. You're worth it to him.
When he returns, his affections are turned up to the maximum level. He absolutely bombards you with bags upon bags of presents and is practically attached to your side. However, during these times, he also needs rest and reassurance. These are some of his favorite memories because you'll stay in and cuddle, wrapped up in each other's arms and not moving an inch as the world outside cycles onward.
