{Author's Note: I'm so sorry it took so long to giving you guys these. I am super thankful for your patience. I am going to post the chapters I've got and then I'm going to wrap the story up. Will have about 20-25 chapters. But don't worry, this is only until I perform a REWRITE (it's something I've thought about but do be patient). :D I'll follow the show more, and give updated details. I've grown so much as a writer since I first wrote this story and it is time. This story has always been a calling to me, I love the actor for Chase so much I thought about 'chasing' him into Chicago Fire once or twice but I just can't get into the show. I am thankful for the continued support and hope I can wrap this up with what you hope. I can't believe people love this story after HOUSE MD has been done for like 15 years. {Normal POV}
Cuddy assigns the team a case involving a six-year-old girl by the name of Lucy. The little girl was currently in surgery. Robert, Mia, Cameron and Foreman all watch the surgery in the above observation room. Cameron makes a few suggestions and Robert tells her no.
"Get started on the tests, I am taking my girlfriend home." Robert says.
"Why?" Cameron asks.
"She's been studying all day and she needs sleep." Robert says.
"I'll bring you guy's coffee in the morning." Mia says.
"Marry me instead." Cameron says and Mia laughs.
"Sorry." Mia says.
{Mia's POV}
Robert and I leave. At home, I make us a late dinner and while he's cleaning the dishes since it was his turn I head into the bedroom. I gulped as I took a deep breath. I glance at the promise ring on my finger. The way Robert described his reasoning for giving me this, made me think that he really does want to stay with me forever. I opened the closet where I still had a box of clothes I didn't put away. In it were gifts from friends as pranks. Most were pajamas for private times in the bedroom.
"So, I was thinking we can watch a quick movie before bed, you know to let our stomachs settle?" Robert asks from the living room down the hall and around the corner.
"What movie?" I ask.
"What did you have in mind?" Robert asks.
"Uh, how about a romance comedy?" I ask as I pull one of the outfits out of the box. I get changed as I blush deeply before taking a deep breath.
"Alright, I've got the movie going. Are you done changing yet?" Robert asks.
"Uh, yes." I say and I hear Robert walking towards his bedroom. I take a deep breath as I stood in the bathroom to the bedroom. I hear him enter the bedroom and I peek around the corner with a blush. He was heading for his dresser. I take a deep breath again and gulp before stepping out and walking passed him.
"M-Mia." He says and I look at him with a deep blush as I was almost to the door, "That's not your usual pajamas. Normally you wear my shirt from the day..." I blush as I turn and look at him before blushing and looking away. I walk over to him and stop in front of him. I slowly lift up since I was still a little shorter than him and I kiss him slowly. I close my eyes as I hug him tightly while I continue to kiss him deeply. Robert breaks the kiss and I blush deeply as I place my head against his chest.
"W-What do you think?" I ask.
"You look beautiful, but why?" Robert asks. I look at him and I grip the fabric on the outfit.
"I love you and... if you are going to promise about staying with me and not leave me... then I want to." I say and Robert's eyes widen, "I'm serious Robert." He kisses me and I blush deeper. He breaks the kiss and I gulp.
"If you are sure that you want me and not leave me, then I want to as well." He says and I nod. I gulp as I hug him tightly and work on pulling off his shirt first. I blush when he grabs me around my waist and picks me up and sets me down on the bed. I watch him walk over to the side table on his side of the bed. He grabs something out and I blush as I knew that it was protection. I sit up and start kissing him again as I push his shirt off his shoulders after I get it unbuttoned and I pull it out of the waistband of his pants.
We continue kissing as he helps me get his pants off. We weren't really that much in a rush. I get him stripped down to his underwear and I blush deeply as he begins stripping me out of the outfit. He begins by teasing my breasts a little and I blush after letting out a sound of pleasure.
"That sounded beautiful." He whispers against my skin and I look at him.
"Your turn." I say and I begin with teasing him while he gets the protection unwrapped. I lay back as he puts it on and I blush deeply as he climbs onto the bed above me. We both laid naked against each other. I kiss him deeply as he enters me. I grip at his shoulders as I felt slight pain before it began to feel really good.
I let out more sounds of pleasure and he buries his head in my shoulder as he echoed my sounds. I arched my back making me go closer to him as he went a pretty good pace. I reached up and ran my fingers through his hair.
"Mia!" He says as he groans in pleasure.
"Robert!" I reply echoing his sound of pleasure. I feel my body rock with a release and a few moments later I feel him echo my release and he breathes heavily. He falls over on the bed beside me after pulling out of me.
"That was worth the wait." I whisper between breaths.
"I love you so much." Robert says and I blush deeply as I look at him.
"I love you too." I say with a smile as he pulls me against him.
{The next day-Robert's POV}
We head into work and I smile at Mia as we both felt really good after last night. She brings coffee for the very angry Foreman and Cameron while I bring the results. I had a grin on my face while Mia sets the donuts that she also brought on the counter out of the way.
"You two are in a good mood." House says.
"Well, we got results." I say.
"But you two went home." Cameron says.
"It's called work smarter not harder." House says. I look over at Mia who smiled at me.
They rule out the fungal infection when the patient Lucy starts having problems. Foreman explains what's going on to the father and Lucy has a stroke. We begin talking about why Lucy has a stroke. House sends Mia and I to check out the family home. The brother of Lucy ends up developing a crush on both Cameron and Mia as he couldn't choose who was prettier. At the family's home, they begin looking in everything.
"So, we haven't spoken much about last night." I say.
"I'm sorry. It's still a new feeling. I am a little tired and a little sore." Mia says.
"I'm going to have to restock." I say.
"How did you know that I'd want to?" Mia asks, "You had that box in the obvious place for a guy."
"I didn't. Foreman and House got them for me as a joke when we started dating. I was perfectly capable of getting my own." I say.
"You did check them, right?" Mia asks.
"Every single one. I wouldn't dare use them if they'd been tampered with." I say and she giggles.
She heads towards Lucy's room and starts looking through everything.
"What are you looking for?" I ask.
"A vent. Her room is above the garage." Mia says and she bends down to look under the bed, "Aha." I look at her butt and she giggles.
"Robert, stop looking at my butt and get down here with me." She says and I crawl down with her, "I think something is in it." We work together to get it out and we head back to the hospital with the theory that the girl is being abused. Foreman gets the consent then Cameron does the exam. There was no evidence.
"What if our assumption is wrong? The dad identified the shirt. What if the blood isn't hers?" Foreman asks and they do an exam on the blood. It comes back having the components of menstruation bleeding in it. Forman and I start searching for tumors per House's request.
{Mia's POV}
"So, what have you two been so happy about today?" Cameron asks as we stood on the elevator.
"I don't want to become hospital gossip." I say.
"Too late." Cameron says.
"Well, let's just say things between Robert and I are going really well." I say.
"Good." Cameron says and we step of the elevator on the floor for House's office. Lucy's brother was there. We place the things down in the office before turning and taking the boy back to his father and sister. He grabs both of our butts and we squeal in unison.
Later that night, I explain what happened and Robert looks at me and laughs.
"Now, Cameron was encouraging it, but you sure weren't." Robert says.
"It's not funny. Okay, maybe it is a little. I squealed in the hallway and everyone looked at us. He just stood there grinning." I say.
"I'd grab your butt too." Robert says.
"Right." I say as I giggle as I take Robert's hand. Lucy's brother comes running down the hall and yells at Robert and he starts biting Robert. Cameron runs out of the room and helps me get the boy off. I help Robert while Cameron tries to get the boy to calm down. We call House while I am bandaging Robert's arm. He dismisses it and I roll my eyes. He calls back with the answer and I gasp.
"Of course. But why target me? Cameron is the single girl." I say.
"You are a hot nurse." House says.
"Didn't I ask you to stop calling her that?" Robert asks.
Later the next day, the group talks about it being genetic and the group starts going over the mom's medical records. We continue thinking and Cameron heads to get the consent of the father and House tries to convince the father of something else. He ends up getting through to the father after finding out what was going on.
We solve the case and I giggle as I walk with Robert. I stop when I hear House and Cuddy's voice.
"So, they finally did it." House says.
"Do you have to get in their personal business?" Cuddy asks.
"Yes, it's fun." House says.
"Goodbye House." I say and look up at him. He looked like a deer in headlights. I take Robert's hand and pull him away.
