Silence filled the air.
The silence was soon to be broken as Ichika spoke from afar.
"Hello, Saki's brother!"
"Oh Ichika!! Hahaha! You can address me as Tsukasa."
"Oh! Alright, Tsukasa. Have you seen Saki and Honami? I lost them somehow-"
"YES, SURE! I mean uh sure!"
"Well uh I need to help Ichika find Saki and her friend Rui, see you tomorrow?.."

Rui waved goodbye and sighed.

ui then ambled along the path leading to his house.
During his stroll he noticed some purple flowers withering. He remembers that it was once a beautiful bloomed flower that was full of light, but now its destiny is death.
"What a shame... Those flowers were so pretty."

Thank goodness Ichika passed by... That was so awkward-... But what if I just got the wrong idea on what he was doing. Ugh... There's no helping it I guess...
"Tsukasa?"
"Hm?"
"What's up with you and that guy? Rui?"
"Oh uhm! Hahaha I don't really know! I think we were doing a staring contest!"

He is obviously lying, they blinked multiple times and that cover up was just terrible.
"Oh it's them!"
Tsukasa exclaimed.
Both of them catched up to Honami and Saki. The 4 of them played some games in the arcade before heading back to their homes.

"IM SOOOOOOOOO EXHAUSTED..."
"Are you hungry Saki?"
"Yeah-"
"Alright! I'll make dinner!"
Tsukasa then proceeds to cook dinner for him and his sister. Tsukasa and Saki's parents will be away for 1-2 months because of work so it's just them in the house.

6:00 AM IN Kamiyama High School
Nene and Tsukasa is in the hallways talking. (Shocking 😱)
"What happened to Rui? I haven't seen his usual creepy grin yet."
"Usual creepy grin...?"
"Yeah."
"So? What happened to him?"
"You think I, Tenma Tsukasa, has something to do with Rui being upset?!"
"Yeah."
"Well... I really don't know what has gotten into him. Maybe I'll talk to him in class?"
"Yeah sure please do."

Bell ringing sfx

Upon entering the room, Tsukasa saw the guy from the cafe and gave him a cold glare. The guy was shakened after the glare and Tsukasa then sits on his seat.
"Rui?"
After hearing my voice, he finally faced me.
"Oh~?.... Hello Tsukasa-kun..."
"Geez Rui?! Did you sleep at all?!"
"Oh yeah..- I did."
"I was busy studying that's all!~"
"You never study."

Some time later The teacher walks to the classroom and starts the lessons as always

Did Tsukasa forget about yesterday? Or was I just over thinking that he thinks I like him...? You know what? Screw it I'm confessing.
I searched for a piece of paper and wrote a note on it
" Can I meet you after class? I have something to say to you. "
I passed the note to Tsukasa who wasn't paying attention to the teacher.
He read the note and nodded to me, meaning he said yes.

I waited for Tsukasa, and soon enough he came. The rooftop is empty and it was just the two of us.
"..."
"So... I have a confession to make."
Tsukasa's eyes widen

"I love you Tsukasa. I have always always loved you, you always brighten my days with your cheerful sm-"
"I'm sorry.."

GUN SHOTS SFX
Alarms for a school shooter went off and people were all terrified. The shooter was heading up to the rooftop.
"..."
"Rui... Hide... Please."
"Save yourself Tsukasa kun"
The shooter opens the door and aimed at Rui.
Boom.
Suddenly turned Rui's vision is black
Everything is blurry
Rui then took his finale breath and said goodbye to the world.
