Maanveer reached hospital, withsmell of kerosene. Aarav and jaiveer saw him entering expressionless. They approached him and stood infront of him
"You did all this,ain't you" aarav asked
Maanveer raised his swollen eyes,full of red color. Anyone can scared under his stare
"Yes" maanveer said within any regret
Maanveer's phone rang,he saw his dadisa's number. He instantly recived it
"Baba" he heard shiv's innocent voice,Maanveer's eyes became soften
"Yes baby" he said
"Baba,aashvee is crying so much,please tell maasa to come soon,may be she is missing maasa" shiv said
Maanveer rubbed his temple
"Beta,maasa is busy. I'm coming" maanveer said and cut the call
Maanveer stood behind the door. Aashi was giggled talking to her father. A little smile appeared on his face too. Her words starts ringing in his ears "please take care of our kids" maanveer shut his eyes tightly,aashvee's crying face appeared him
"Take care of my aashi,i will take care of our kids" maanveer said turning to jaiveer
"Don't worry about her jamaisa,you go" he said
Maanveer left. Maanveer stopped his car infront of haveli. Closing his eyes he took a long breath "aage ka rasta mushkil hai" he remembered his father's lines "veer,please take care of our kids. Give them mother love" he remembered aashi's lines
"I will be their mother and father untimely you come back jaana" he mumbled
Maanveer entered inside. Mishka,sharda and shashidhara were trying hard to stop crying aashvee. Maanveer approach them.
"Give her to me" maanveer said
Mishka,without saying anything handed aashvee to him. She stopped crying instantly. Maanveer continues caressed her forehead and she drifted into sleep. Everyone had amusement on their faces. Maanveer,without saying anything left to their room. He laid aashvee on bed and touched his forehead with her,tear slipped from his eyes
"Please pray for maasa baby,she needs your prayer" he said with broken voice
Maanveer felt her tinny fingers playing with his hairs. He tilted his head and saw aashvee playing with his hairs. He kissed her forehead. Shiv came and sat beside them. Maanveer pulled shiv in his lap and kissed his forehead
"Dadisa told me about maasa,she will live in mamasa's house na" shiv asked. Maanveer hummed.
"Baba,is she upset with us" shiv asked
"No baby,why are you asking" he asked
"Then why will she live there, aashvee and me are missing her" shiv said scrunched his nose
Maanveer made him seat infront of him,holding his hands,he asked
"Do you remember about bad uncles"
"Yes" shiv said
"They now challenged maasa that she can't live without aashvee you and me,do you want to win her" he asked
"Yes" shiv said
"Then maasa have to live there for some days" he said
"How many days" shiv asked
Maanveer moved his eyes to others direction. Not knowing what to day
"It's okay,i will manage. But we have to handle aashvee na" shiv said dramatically
"Yes,we will" manaveer said and smiled
After 35 days
"Please stop crying baby,baba is trying his best" maanveer said holding diaper
"Baba,let me see in youtube" shiv said and grabbed Maanveer's phone. He search "how to make wear baby diaper" and started video. Maanveer was following instructions. In some minitues, he made her wear aashvee diaper. Shiv and maanveer smiled proudly
Mishka came with shiv's milk and saw them sitting on bed. Her eyes fell on aahvee and she giggled. Manaveer turned and she controled her giggles
"Bhaisa,if you don't mind,can i say something" she asked
"Yes" maanveer replied
"Diaper ulta hai" she said painting aashvee
Manaveer turned and saw she was correct. Shiv face palmed
"Baba,tell maasa to come soon. Orelse we'll make aashvee joker soon" shiv said
Hearing her name,Maanveer's eyes got soften. Mishka's saw changed on his face
"Shiv,dadisa is asking for you go" she said and shiv ran
"Bhaisa,please don't get weak. You have to stay strong" mishka said and maanveer nodded
Mishka took aahvee in her hands
"I will give her bath" mishka said and about to leave but stopped hearing him
"Thank you mihka for taking care of my kids" he said,for the first time he was speaking softly with someone expect aashi,for his kids
"It's okay bhaisa,if bhabhisa can become kiaan's mother then why can't i. It's my time to pay her debts" she said
Maanveer nodded and she left. Aarav came with files in his hands
"Bhiasa,this are the files. We need your signature" aarav said
"Hmm" he said and signed papers. "How's everyone going" he asked
"Perfect, we have meeting with mr robert today" aarav said
"Give your hundred percent" maanveer said
"Babaaaa" shiv came running with school bag
"Yes" maanveer asked
"Baba,teacher told us to bring map today" shiv asked pouting
"And you're telling this now" maanveer said in disbelief tone
"Yes,maasa always kept extra chart" he said
"Where's it " maanveer asked
"In that drawer" shiv said pointing drawer
Aarav opened the drawere and saw map chart there. He gave it to shiv
"Thank you kakasa" shiv said and ran out
"Bhabhisa is still helping you" aarav said
Maanveer smile a bit
"Let's go" shiv said holing maanveer hand
Maanveer was in white driver uniform. Everyone's heart rippes whenever they see him in this outfit. Maanveer wore his cap which covered his forehead, and wore mask which covered his half face. He kissed aashvee forehead and left
Maanveer stopped his car infront his school. Maanveer kisses shiv's cheek and he kissed Maanveer's cheeks
"Bye" shiv said and left. Maanveer took U-turn and left. Stoppig his car infront of singhania haveli,he took a long breath and left
Aashi was running behind jaiveer
"Bhaisa please give me my chocolates" she was yelling
Jaiveer stooped seeing maanveer. Maanveer ordered him to continue through eyes. It's been one month to that accident. They didn't told her whole truth as per Maanveer's ordered. She only knew that she lost her memory,first she was in depressed but maanveer told jaiveer to put her in dance classes so she couldn't think much. Aashi stopped seeing maanveer. She scrunched her face.
"Hunhh,because of him,i can't drive my car" she mumbling
"Ma'am, car is ready" maanveer said
"Coming" aashi said rolling her eyes
Maanveer opened car door for her. She sat and maanveer sat on driver seat
"Can't you take leave for one day" she asked pissing off
"Why" he asked seeing her through mirror
"Because of you,i can't drive my car" she said
Maanveer chuckled under the mask
"No" he said
"Why" she asked
"Because i gave my words to your father that I will protect you" he said remembering their wedding oath
"Bade aaye aagyakari" she mumbled and rolled her eyes
Maanveer smiled looking at her cute anger
