Bad Moon Rising: Mourning Ritual, Peter Dreimanis

"Brace yourselves, you've just been blessed." I walk up the stairs.

"Yes, I have." Clark kisses me.

"I got your call, what's up?"

"Brianna, come here, please." Emil requests.

"You're making me nervous, Doc." I head over.

"I wanna test something. I just need you to hold it."

"Okay?" I raise an eyebrow and he places a piece of blue kryptonite in my hand and I see sparks shoot up my arms.

"Woah." Oliver walks over. "What just happened?"

"As I predicted." Emil writes something down.

"Which was?" Clark questions.

"Blue kryptonite is a radioactive material. It makes you weaker, but it makes her stronger. She can consume the radioactive energy from it due to her webs."

"Thanks for the fun facts, but, I don't need to charge up, I'm strong enough as it is." I set the glowed out meteor rock down.

"I agree with that statement. Which is why I also wanna try something else. Clark, can you step back?"

"It's okay." I nod and Clark steps all the way back before Emil holds out a meteor rock.

"If blue kryptonite strips his powers and charges yours, then maybe now green kryptonite...doesn't make you weak anymore." Emil places the rock in my hand and nothing happens.

"Wait, what?" Oliver walks over. "I thought meteor rock-"

"Yeah, so did I." I share a look with Clark. "The sparks aren't even shooting up my arm." I turn back and shoot a web at a bottle of water on the table from down below, then pulling it in my hand. "I don't have any pain when I'm using my powers."

"Have you felt different lately? Any shifts? Any new upgrades?" Emil puts the meteor rock away and Clark walks back over.

"Ever since we escaped from that Amish Cult a few weeks ago, I've felt...stronger than I ever did before."

"And that's when your scar from your heart attack healed, yes?"

"Yeah." I take off my shirt, leaving myself in my sports bra.

"Woah." Oliver takes a step forward. "Talk about feeling stronger."

"Part of me thought it would come back." I look down at my chest.

"May I?" Emil picks up a scalpel.

"Yeah." I nod and he gently presses the scalpel on my chest.

"Does that hurt?"

"No. Just feels cold from the metal."

"Alright, I'm gonna take a little bit of blood, run a few tests." He sets the scalpel down and grabs a needle. He wraps a band around my left forearm and my muscle flexes. He now leans my arm over the table and sticks the needle through my skin. I look down and watch my blood fill the tube that's connected to the end of the needle. "When did you first become to immune to kryptonite?"

"Junior year of high school. This kid I went to school with shot me in the shoulder. I died and came back. Next thing I knew, I was absorbing it."

"With that Seth guy, right?"

"Yeah. But then when I was in those tunnels with Lex four years ago, that's when I couldn't use my powers. I didn't know it yet, but there was kryptonite in the walls."

"Well, as we keep growing and progressing, our bodies relieve us of certain things. Whether we have superpowers or not."

"Like allergies." I nod. "Because the body develops tolerance to an allergen the more often it's exposed to the substance."

"Exactly." Emil nods back. "Ever considered the medical field before?" He takes the needle out front my arm and covers the tiny hole with a bandaid.

"When I was really young, I wanted to be a scientist."

"That doesn't surprise me. Like, at all." Oliver crosses his arms.

"Let me just check your pulse, and your heart." Emil places a sensor on my finger.

"It's gonna be a bitch getting my imaginary pacemaker out." I sigh.

"Woah, hey, have some respect." Oliver tells me. "It's the thing that's keeping you alive."

"The placebo effect really does work." I uncap the water bottle and he chuckles before I drink.

"Alright." Emil takes the sensor off my finger.

"So, is...this gonna be permanent? Am I never gonna feel like I'm on fire again?" I put my shirt on and take my hair out from the back.

"It's inconclusive. But, like you said, it's been a few weeks since you've felt that sudden change. And it's possible the blue kryptonite back at that farm healed your heart. Your pulse is good. Heartbeat and blood pressure is normal. Your results are great." Emil inquires.

"No." I shake my head. "It wasn't the kryptonite." I lock eyes with Clark and he kisses me before my walkie goes off in my holster. "It's my dad. Told him to signal me when he sends over more case files. Duty calls."

"Okay. I love you." Clark grabs my hands and kisses me.

"I love you." I kiss him and leave.

            •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"Finally." I close the last file and mark it off my list, now reading my book. I then hear a whoosh and I look up from my book to see a bouquet of blue roses and a box of chocolates in front of me. "Thank you, baby. I love you more." I grin as I pick up the roses and smell them.

"Hey." Oliver knocks on the bedroom door.

"Hey." I close my book and get up from the bed.

"You still read?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Nothing." He shakes his head. "Nerd."

"You're blonde—settle down." I hit his chest with my book and he scoffs.

"He whooshed you these, huh?" He holds up the box of chocolates.

"Two seconds before you walked in." I smile.

"And you're blushing. Okay, you guys actually make me sick."

"Want me to hold your hair?" I raise my eyebrows and he scoffs. "Bruce was named after my grandfather. He was a police officer for the GCPD. He died in a shootout."

"What?" Oliver gapes.

"Bruce and Alfred dropped off a box of old letters Thomas and Dominic wrote to each other after high school. They made sure to keep in contact." I open the drawer and hand him one of the letters. "And this is my grandfather, from Dominic's side. Bruce Dominic Barrera." I hand him the photo.

"Brianna, he looks just like you. Holy shit."

"Yeah, I know. Still processing it." I chuckle.

"Wait, Dominic's name last is Barrera?"

"Yeah. It was his father's last name. His mom's last name was Brady. They didn't wanna give him a middle name, so, they decided on Dominic Brady Barrera. And when he got older, he changed it to just Brady. Thought it sounded better. And then he met my mom. I turn and take the recorder from the drawer. "This is a message left from Thomas."

"Bruce's dad?" Oliver raises his eyebrows.

"Yeah." I press the button.

"You just push the-"

"I know how to work it, Dom, thank you." Thomas tells Dominic in the background. "Sorry about that, Brianna. Your old man thinks he's a smartass just because he's a cop."

"Doesn't that come with the territory?" Dominic replies.

"Anyway, by the time you're listening to this, I'm hoping to earn the name uncle Thomas. Cause your dad is my brother. The only brother I've ever had. And knowing the Brady bloodline, I hope you'll turn out better cause he's really starting to piss me off." He chuckles. "Listen, I know you're wondering...how? Why didn't your dad tell you about me sooner? Well, here's the thing, kid. Forcing things is not the way to go. Letting it happen...that's life. That's when life truly is itself. And that's what I'm going to teach my som when he's old enough. Bruce is a few years younger than you. Martha and I named him after your dad's dad. He was really something. Great sense of humor. It's a shame he isn't with us anymore, but let me tell you, you got his baby blues. And I hope to God they don't change. I hope you don't change. You stay exactly who you are and who you're meant to be, kid. Just like your dad. Cause I can feel it. You're gonna change the world, Brianna. Now that you're at the end of listening to this, why don't you stop by the manor? We would love to finally meet you. He would."

"Brianna..." Oliver chuckles before hugging me. "God. This is...this amazing. Right?" He now pulls away.

"Yeah." I scoff. "Cause ever since Bruce called me that day, I've always had this feeling. Like he didn't just call me for help. He called me for something else. And the way he spoke to me, it was like he already knew me. And when we met, it was like I already knew him." My eyes start to water and he hugs me again.

"Knew the little punk was more than a spoiled, rich kid." He jokes.

"Says you." I laugh. "And I know I should say it's shame I never met him. Thomas." I nod. "But I feel like I have. And Martha. Through Bruce."

"I bet Bruce feels the same about Dominic through you." He looks back at the photo.

"So, let me guess—you woke up feeling odd with fang marks on your neck?" I put everything away.

"No. Uh, it took three cars, two sets of stairs, and a body double just to get me here, so, quick—the, uh, vigilante signing, are you aware of that?"

"Yeah. And I have serious concerns about the legitimacy of this mystery hero. Who would be stupid enough to stand up and register?"

"Me." Oliver nods and I smack him upside the head. "Ow."

"Are you out of your mind? What the hell is wrong with you?" I hit his arm.

"You can beat me up later, but we have to find out what happens when someone registers."

"Yeah. I get it. Somebody needs to be the hero, and you're the only one that is..."

"You stick your foot in your mouth any further, and you might end up losing a shoe."

"You're about to lose your head." I warn.

"Look, I wasn't the first one to volunteer for operation guinea pig. Your fiancée was, okay? So, I may be taking the plunge, but I talked Clark off the ledge."

"You have to be fucking kidding me." I turn.

"He didn't tell you? Well, you know, I'm sure he was...he was going to."

"Really? When? With his one phone call?" I toss my book on the bed.

"Brianna." Oliver turns me around. "Just cause you register, that doesn't mean that you're under arrest."

"Who the hell knows what it means?" I snap.

"Brianna-"

"What, so he'll ask my opinion on what tie to wear but not on whether to show the world his real work uniform?"

"I don't think Clark purposely left you out of the loop."

"It's even worse. It slips his mind to mention something this big to me, but he'll discuss it with you? And with other people, knowing I'm just like the rest of you too? Un-fucking-believable." I clench my jaw.

"Look, we both know Clark has this overdeveloped sense of responsibility, like you." Oliver grips my shoulder. "Agreed? That's why if something goes south with my registration, we can't let Clark try to fix it on his own, okay? For his sake, for everyone else's. The world needs you, Brianna."

"If you hadn't come here, he probably never would've told me. I would've had to find out on the news with him being slaughtered."

"Brianna-"

"No. You know I'm right." I pull away. "That son of a bitch." I exit the room.

"Brianna!" He calls out and I take out my phone, dialing Lois's number.

        •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"Paints a pretty scary picture, doesn't it?" Slade enters as I listen in from the top of the building.

"It certainly gives me a new perspective." Lois tells him. "Lois-"

"Lane. Sam Lane's daughter. I always do my homework. Why do you think I gave you clearance?"

"Damn. And here I was thinking I got in here on my wit and charm."

"I see you are not just a Lane in name, but attitude as well."

"My dad always said I was made of more brass than his medals." Lois inquires and he chuckles. "General, I brought something for you."

"Whoa! I see that I am not the only one who does their homework. Fine bourbon and Cuban cohibas—my favorite.

"American made and American won. I don't care what they say—that victory will be ours soon enough."

"Spoken like a true daughter of the red, white, and blue." Slade comments.

"Speaking of the red, white, and blue. What's really up with the VRA?"

"Your father worked on the registration act, Miss Lane. I'm not sure what more I can tell you."

"Well, it's only since your command that someone volunteered to sign up. How exactly is that gonna happen?"

"They'll simply sign a declaration of intent to act only at the government's behest. United we stand, right, Miss Lane? As it stands now, vigilantes do not represent the will of the people. And anyone espousing different merely supports their cause."

"Which is exactly why I asked for the VRA assignment. Who better to give the military a fair shake than a brat?"

"One who has written most of her paper's pro-blur and Ghost Spider articles."

"I guess my name isn't the only reason you agreed to this one-on-one."

"You are not playing for your team the way you should be, Miss Lane. We all must do our part."

"Some people might say that's what drives the vigilantes to action."

"Well, then, they'll simply step forward and suit up with the good guys, won't they?"

"Here's to the good guys."

"Amen. Ah, there must be something around here to cut this."

"No. Lois." I whisper as the hair sticks up on the back of my neck.

"Your name got you in here, but it won't get you out of trouble." Slade tells her.

"Fuck."

"Show me your hand. Now!" He orders and I sigh in relief.

"I just thought you might like a light." Lois replies.

"I apologize. These vigilantes have got me suspicious of everyone."

"No worries. These days, you just don't know who you can trust. Right?"

"Thank you, Lois." I look at the text of the map she sent me on my phone.

   •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"B." Miles says as I walk over to him, Lois and Tess with my hood over my head.

"Today, we take our first step toward a new partnership. There will no longer be law and outlaw. We will be one people, united, working toward one goal—the common good." Slade holds up a piece of paper. "Oliver Queen's registration marks a new day for this country. And the end of vigilantes working outside the law." He smiles and everyone cheers.

"No." I whisper. "No! No! No!" I now push through the crows. "Oliver, no!" I reach the elevator with teary eyes and he looks at me. "No!"

"Ma'am, step back." A guard grabs me.

"No! Get off me! You don't want him!" I yell as I try to grab Oliver. "No! No! He's not the one you want! You want m-"

"No one knows who The Blur is, Detective Brady." Oliver grabs my hand and squeezes it. "I appreciate your protest, but please don't insert yourself in this any further." He nods and squeezes my hand once more and then lets go before the doors close.

"No! No! Get off me!" I pull away from the guard before shakily exhaling.

"B." Miles grips my shoulder.

"They're going to the helipad." Tess inquires.

Well, you own this building. Don't let that helicopter take off." Lois speaks up.

"Lois, I can't. They have military clearance. Oliver's gone."

"No, he's not." I choke out.

"Brianna." Tess looks at me.

"Oliver Queen is not gone. Over my dead body." I walk off.

       •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"I need to know where Clark is." I step out from the back.

"I have no idea." Emil replies.

"Don't even try to shit me, okay? Oliver's in trouble, and Clark could be, too. I need to know how to find them."

"I can see that, Brianna. But I don't know why you're asking me."

"Whatever bullshit Clark fed you to keep you from telling me isn't working." I get in his face. "So unless you want a sudden tracheotomy, you will tell me where he is."

"He went to find AC. In Miami. That's the last I heard." Emil tells me.

"Appreciate the cooperation." I rasp out before leaving.

     •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"Look who skipped right out of the forest." A voice says as I land on my feet. "Doe-eyed Bambi searching...you're Brianna Brady." She unzips her swimsuit.

"Brazen much?" I remark.

"I am Mera, wife of Orin, future king of the seven seas.
The one you call Arthur Curry."

"AC got married. Aren't you just full of reveals?"

"Orin is finally embracing his destiny and leading his people." Mera starts to walk and grabs a towel.

"I need to find Clark." I follow her.

"I thought you had spider sense?"

"I have other things on my mind, I don't just sit down and map it all out like I used to do when I was a teenager."

"Do you really want the harsh light of truth?" Mera raises her arm out and I enter a room before looking at the dolphins through the glass.

"Brianna." Clark says as I hear a whoosh from behind me. "What are you doing here?"

"What am I doing here?" I turn to him. "That's a stupid fucking question, even for you." I clench my jaw. "So that's what the chocolate and flowers were for?"

"No. Brianna, I-"

"I came here to find you—looks like I have. Mark that off my list. Oliver's been taken."

"I know."

"Yeah, I know you do." I rasp out before turning my head to the screen.

"Clark, I ran some tests on the alloy that you found and—Brianna. Hi." Tess says through the screen.

"The alloy can change properties." I nod.

"How...how did you know that?"

"It changes due to resistance to heat, corrosion resistance, magnetic properties, or electrical conductivity—AP Biology. What else about it?"

"It's like some sort of multifunctional weapon. The government is preparing for anything that comes its way."

"Including Orin." Mera walks over. "He should have been back by now."

"He could be at any one of the four facilities he was checking out." Clark inquires.

"I know where he is." I turn.

"Brianna-"

"Thanks for the high school memory, Tess." I keep walking before I whip back around and grab Mera's arm.

"You got a question, just ask it." I lower her arm. "But if you're only gonna bust my chops, then get back in the water. I don't have time for this." I turn and put on my mask before taking off.

         •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"AC!" I land on my feet.

"Brianna." AC lifts his head up and I shoot electrical webs at the cage of water Oliver is in.

The cage breaks and the water splashes up. It gets to AC and I run over to Oliver. AC breaks through the chains and I get the rope off Oliver's wrist.

"You think you're gonna say goodbye to me? Not a chance." I heave before taking the padding off his stomach.

Slade now looks at me and AC stands up. Mera turns over and looks at AC, then at me. My eyes then widen as Slade presses a button and runs to the back door. I then push Mera all the way back before webbing her to the wall.

"Brianna! What..." Mera trails off.

"No!" Oliver shouts as the doors trap me in.

"Computer override initiated. Terminal breach measures activated. Self-destruct in two minutes." The automates voice says.

"Sucker." I scoff before shooting an electrical web to fry the device, making the doors lift up.

"Brianna!" AC runs over before hugging me. "Thank you."

"Don't let 'em drag you down, right?" I tell him and we share a grin. "C'mon." I get Mera down.

"C'mere." Oliver pulls me into him.

"Bastard." I choke out.

"I know. I'm sorry."

"I know you are." I pull sway.

"We gotta go. Now." Mera urges.

"I know. I got him. You guys go." I put on my mask before me and Oliver take off.

     •──────✧❅✦❅✧──────

"I didn't expect you to carry a lot of baggage." Mera says as I set my work bag down on the counter.

"I can shrivel you with just one web—keep in mind." I open the bag.

"You saved Orin. And me."

"AC is my friend. When I was going through a rough time a few years ago, he gave me some advice that stuck. And you're his wife."

"You know, you may have powers, but, you're not like us. Not like Clark. But...you are what he needs. You treat Clark not as your superior, but as an equal. And insist that he do the same."

"Thanks." I nod.

"You'd make a good partner for him, Brianna. In your own way. And it took months and more than just a few water blasts to the head for Orin to let me stand with him. Not just beside him. Give Clark time."

"All I've ever given him was time. And trust me, I don't mind waiting a thousand years, but, this was a suicide mission through and through."

"Spider sense, right?"

"I'm a cop. I don't need to use my sense to know when shit's about to hit the fan."

"I hate to break up the party." AC enters with Clark and I turn my head. "We need to catch the current."

"I thought Orin was exaggerating, Clark, but everything he said about you is true. Even when the tide is turning, you work hard to bring change by delivering justice, not bombs. As a patriot to the country, not just the cause." Mera inquires.

"That's our boy scout."

"Alright, wave runners, next time you're in town, be sure to swim by." I get up.

"Aye-aye, Captain." AC hugs me. "Did you really fight a huge lizard?"

"I'd show you the scars to prove it, but, you know..."

"Right." He scoffs before pulling away. "You still a cop?"

"You know it." I grin in the corner of my mouth.

"Good I'll be reading the papers. Always." He grins back. "Be seeing you." He turns and shakes Clark's hand. "And congratulations." He looks at the ring on my finger. "You're a lucky man."

"You have no idea." Clark gazes at me.

"Stay wet." I turn to Mera. "That sounded better in my head." I nod and she chuckles.

"I'll see you, Ghost." Mera grins before leaving with AC.

"Being who I am is so convenient now. My webs were a lot better than some seat in coach."

"You shouldn't have had to fly all the way to Florida just to find me." Clark tells me.

"Don't sweat it. I haven't worked out like that since high school." I turn and hear a whoosh. "And now that meteor rock is no longer my weakness, I don't have to look over my shoulder as much anymore."

"No, you were right to be upset." He stops me before holding out small tub sherbet and I shake my head with a grin.

"How the hell do you even remember?" I take it from him.

"I keep telling you, I remember everything." He holds up a single blue rose and places it behind my ear, then kissing me. "I'm so sorry." He whispers. "I've been running around acting like it's just me...instead of us. The truth is, I rely on you more than anyone else.
I trust you to know parts of me that I don't even trust myself. That's why you're the only person I told about the darkness that I've tried to fight. But failed."

"I know. But Mera's right. I may have powers, but not like you. Not like any of you. I was bitten by a radioactive spider, you were born with it. It makes me wonder if we'll ever be like that. I mean, you gotta admit, I may climbs walls and shoot electricity out of my body, but I'm..."

"Everything that I'm not?"

"I can heal from harder things, but I can die. I could shoot you in the chest and it would ricochet and wound me instead."

"No, it wouldn't. You'd dodge it."

"Another great response." I sarcastically nod.

"What I meant to say, was—that's why it works. Same with you. You're everything I'm not. And it works."

"Yeah, but two pieces may fit together, but if they're not from the same puzzle, it might end up looking like a Picasso."

"But does that matter?"

"It depends." I shrug. "When you went off to go and save the world, I remember that feeling I had every time Dominic left for work. And I was seven years old all over again, running those four miles because he almost killed us. And it was the hardest thing I ever had to do because I didn't want my mom to feel guilty for his actions. And she remained stoic through all of it until she saw his blood on my hands that night. And she knew that staying stoic was the only way to get through it. It may have not been the correct way, but everyone copes differently. Take a look at what I did. I shot up before the game, called the cops on myself and my heart gave out in front of the entire school. And it wasn't even weed." I pause. "It was heroin."

"Brianna." He walks towards me.

"I changed the results because my mom could've went to jail for child endangerment. Lana was the first one I ever told. And after Earl shot me, I finally told them. My mom, Miles, Layton, Darion. I lied to them for years. I lied to all of you. Chloe still doesn't know, neither does Lois. Or Oliver. And it's not because I'm ashamed. I did what I did. And I meant to. I accept that, and it took me a very long time to. Because in that moment, that night, I wanted to die. I wanted it all to stop. And I didn't care who it would hurt, just as long as it all stopped. Because I couldn't bear the idea of living in a world without him. But I can. Because when he was laying right beside me, and I started talking to him, that's when I knew. It was possible. I knew that I could love him, and still let him go. And I knew if I was going to, I couldn't do it in Denver. I gave my mother shit the last few weeks before she moved me here, but she has no idea that doing that was the best thing that ever happened to me. Cause it brought me to you. And I know for a fact that if I never met you, I would be dead. And I'm choosing to tell you this because I trust you. Because we're in this together, no matter what. But I'm not the only one. You didn't tell anyone about the darkness because you think you're supposed to be invincible." I place my hand on his chest. "And it terrifies you that you're not." I look into his eyes.

"Brianna, how am I supposed to protect people, protect you, if I can't even protect myself from the darkness?"

"By not trying to do it alone. We're in this together now, all of us. And the team needs to know the bigger war we're fighting." I turn before I'm pulled back and he kisses me passionately.

"You were right." He pulls me against him. "All you've ever given me was time. And kindness, and compassion and understanding. You knew for nine years and never pushed me, not once. You never asked any questions, you never tricked me or manipulated me into slipping up, you just continued to be there for me. To help me. To save me. And I'm not just, steel. I'm also man. And I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for you."

"Nah, you could hold your own. I was just behind the scenes. Like an action movie." I nod and he chuckles.

"Would someone behind the scenes take a bull-"

"Yeah, I know, I'm pretty great. Now shut up and kiss me, baby." I cut him off and he kisses me before I wrap my arms around his neck.

"I'm sorry." He cups my face. "I'm so sorry." He kisses me harder.

"I know." I run my fingers through his hair. "You get extra points for the sherbet." I raise my eyebrows.

"You know, when you get angry, your right eyebrow twitches. It's incredibly sexy." He wraps his arms around my torso. "Never told you all these years, but, now seemed like a good time."

"Asshole." I mutter and he grins against my lips before my hands land on his biceps.

"I love you too." He cups both sides of my face and our lips continue to move in sync.

"But tone it down on the flowers, okay? Half the house looks like a floral shop."

"So I should get you more to fill it completely, got it. You don't even have to tell me." He kisses me and I cup his face, grinning against his lips.

"Brianna." Tess walks down the stairs as I enter with Clark, Lois and Miles.

"Don't sweat it." I tell her. "Thanks for having his back even when I wasn't able to."

"I'd do the same for you."

"I know." I nod. "Me too."

"Clark, I got your message." Oliver enters. "Miles, Lois, hey. What's going on?" He grips my shoulder.

"Um...we all know what the government was up to. Those prisons were part of a much bigger threat. Hate crimes are up. People like Slade, they're getting more control. And Godfrey's anti-vigilante message, it's reaching more ears than ever before, and I don't think it's a coincidence." Clark inquires.

"Sadly, Clark, there's no mystery to human fear and hatred." Miles tells him.

"This time, there might be. I think there's something more behind the darkness, something that hero haters like Slade don't even know is affecting them. When I sent the Kandorians away through the portal into space, I opened a door for something else to come to Earth."

"Are you seriously trying to tell me that, out of all the intergalactic bad boys we've ever faced, this one's actually worse?" Oliver questions.

"This is much worse. We can't even see it to fight it.
This thing is like an evil that's spreading over the Earth. It preys upon the dark side that we already have. It feeds on our doubts, our fears, and our distrust." Clark informs.

"Well, I'd say, from where I'm standing, it's already on the winning side."

"I think it even affected Slade." He shows us a symbol on a pad. "Just before the facility exploded, I saw something on Slade's skull—the Omega symbol. It was like it was branded there. Almost like the mark-"

"Of the beast in revelations." Tess says.

"Which would explain why he veered so far off his marching orders." Lois nods.

"I'm guessing you don't think that Slade's the only pledge to the Alpha-Omega-Die Fraternity, right?" Oliver suggests.

"I think the Omega's a sign of corruption, a mark that the darkness has fully taken over someone." Clark tells him.

"Didn't Kara say that a person had to be open to the darkness? That it can't infect anyone of pure heart?" I cross my arms.

"And which one of us doesn't have that weakness? A hidden hatred or fear that this thing couldn't prey upon?"

"So, basically this thing doesn't have to do anything." Oliver shakes his head.

"It just waits for everybody's weaknesses, and then we destroy ourselves." I nod.

"If we can't stop it, the darkness will infect every person on this planet." Clark looks at me.

"I need a paper bag." Miles exhales.

Fuck.

she finally told clark about what happened that night😭 and we have miss elena satine aka louise from revenge! and mister gerard argent is back and more bastard than ever, istg, this guy is always playing assholes, AND METEOR ROCK IS NO LONGER OUR GIRL'S WEAKNESS! it is confirmed that when clark saved her back in the "believers" chapter, the blue kryptonite did heal her scar and her heart since it was her first time ever being exposed to it, therefore overpowering the green kryptonite. i know it's confusing, but in the episode, they used blue kryptonite in the water and in the candles when they were about to sacrifice her. hope this makes sense!
