Damains POV:
It's early morning, and as I wake up I shower and get dressed. Against my father's wishes, I head out to a small little coffee shop not far from where I live. I go here every morning though I never really know why. Maybe it's because of the atmosphere or maybe it's because my father forbids it.
I make my way inside with one hand in my pocket and the other running through my hair (With yo emo ass). I walk up to the counter to order and see the usual barista, it's Wednesday so he's working at the front today. He has his hair down today, his beautifully defined curly hair down almost covering his eyebrows. Wait what am I saying? I come here almost every day so they know my order by now but, Jeffery asks me every time despite him already having written it down when I walk in. It's actually kind of cute. In a friendly way, of course, I'm not gay. At least I don't think so anyway. (yes tf you are, you just don't know it yet).
"Hey Damian what can I get you today" he says in his usually happy tone. However, he seems kind of down today. "My usual Jeffery" he looks at me like he has no idea what I'm talking about. Cute. "a coffee black with 2 sugars". "for here right?" "I think I'm going to get it to go I have a meeting today" shit why did I just say that, and to a total stranger. a kinda cute stranger.
Jefferys POV:
I wake up get dressed and open the shop. I work at a coffee place called "Nature's Brew". As if like clockwork Damian walks in. He comes in every day in a suit, his hair always parted down the middle he has straight hair from what I can tell. He has beautiful brown eyes with speckles of a greenish blue, he has pale skin but not as pale as you think it's almost like a light-skinned Latino. He's tall I'd say about 6 feet, and my god he's hot. he would never like me though I'm 5'9, curly hair, mixed skin, brown eyes. There's nothing special about me for him to like.
As he walks up to the counter I greet him like I always do; "Hey Damian what can I get you today" I say in my usually happy tone, despite feeling a little down today, I hope he doesn't notice. "My usual Jeffery" I look at him like I have no clue what he's talking about, despite having memorized his order. "a coffee black with 2 sugars". "for here right?" I say while placing the order in the computer. "I think I'm going to get it to go I have a meeting today" weird he never shares anything about his personal life. I stare at him with confusion and shock written on my face.
Damains POV:
"It's nothing just a business meeting" Shit why am I telling him all this. "cool well I hope it goes well" he steps out from hind the counter while saying "I'm gonna go clean that table your coffee will be out shortly". I get my coffee and just as I'm going to walk out I bump into something and fall on the floor.
As I slowly lift myself I see that I fell on top of Jeffery. I'm inches away from his face, I never realized how pretty his eyes were. They look like beautiful chocolate brown. god, I could get lost in those eyes forever. wait what, no. I got up and ran off without another word.
