I came home from work and laid on the couch

He left me of delivered for like 20 minutes and I was just waiting for him to respond
His phone probably died or something i told myself just continuing to scroll on my phone
I heard a knock on the door and I got up and open the peep hole to check who is was
Luke!
I opened the door and saw my perfect boyfriend standing there
"you actually came" I looked up at him with a love struck expression "I told you I would" he said and I moved a side letting him in
I gave him the biggest hug I've ever given to anyone followed by a thousand kisses all over his face
He laughed at me lifting me up and sitting on the couch with me on his lap
Seeing him actually show up really made me realize how much I really do love this boy
"Why the fuck would you leave" I asked him smacking his arm after I was done with all my kisses and hugs
"Hey" he said grumpily holding his arm where I smacked him "it's kinda lame there without you now, what am I gonna do third wheel Kayla and Jack" he explained
"You could hang out with my twin" I told him "it wouldn't be the same, he's not as pretty" Luke joked and I rolled my eyes a little
"How long are you staying?" I asked him and he shrugged "you going back before the fourth?" I asked him "and leave you alone? No" he shook his head "but don't you wanna be with everyone" I questioned "Trin I don't wanna leave you alone" he put his arms around me holding me close "you're gonna leave me sometime" I told him "says who" he retorted
"You have to go im not taking away your whole summer" I told him "you're not taking it away if I wanna be here"
"You don't really wanna be here you just feel bad" I looked up at him "kinda but I told you it's not even that great there without you" he replied
"There's nothing to do here especially during the week" I told him "that's ok" he replied
The rest of the night we watched movies and talked and cuddled and then we went to my room and went to bed
June 30 2023
I feel really bad that Luke is missing out on everything that his family is doing in Michigan
Everyday I come home and there he is, of course I love seeing him but i know he doesn't love sitting around all day
Today I came in the door and Luke was watching tv
"Hey" I smiled closing the door behind me he said hi back
I sat with him on the couch and he put his arm around me
"Are you going home for the fourth" I asked him again since it's coming up
"Are you gonna come with me?" He asked "no" I replied "then why would I go" he answered "Luke I love you but I feel bad, I mean-" I started but he cut me off
"did you say you love me" he asked and I realized what I said "yeah" I said nervously
"I love you too Rosie" he pulled me on closer to him and I gave him a kiss
"Do you think you can get a day off at the end of july?" Luke asked me "I don't know I'd have to ask why" I replied "you know Brady Tkachuk?" He questioned "the hockey player?" I asked confused "yeah he's getting married on the 24th I want you to come with me" he told me "I'll ask tomorrow and let you know" I said and he nodded "ok"

Luke left last night and I was actually so sad
I know I've been telling him to go and have fun but I didn't think I'd be this sad seeing him leave
That night going to bed I cried because I missed him
I talked to my mom earlier in the week about the wedding but I also asked if I could leave for another two weeks and she said id be able to early august
So I booked a flight
