It's winter season and the outside of your apartment was raining with falling snow that's covering every inch of the land below. After days of processing and internal things to be sorted out, you and Hanni finally rented your own apartment about a month ago. Both your parents and Hanni's already visited here before and they were more than thankful that you two found a perfect and safe home to live in together.
With you now also having a part time job while Hanni still remained as the barista by the café, taking care of rent became a shared responsibility and slowly but surely, you and Hanni were building a safe haven for the two of you.
The apartment's not perfect yet, but it's home for you and Hanni and the process will be worth it as the two of you believe. Today was your day off and after spending a couple of hours at the gym with Mingyu, you went home and got yourself showered warmly.
Then you took your time with drying out your hair which already grew longer around the mullet area as per Hanni's wish and to be honest, you're liking it as well. After you're done and glancing over at the clock, Hanni's going to be back in half an hour or so, then you went over to the kitchen slowly as you're body was feeling a bit sore from the gym earlier.
Getting to the fridge, you took out ingredients you needed to make dinner before taking them to the counter. After playing a music on your phone, you took your time, cutting and preparing the ingredients to cook before you got the pan heated up and oiled and efficiently began your cooking.
Mixing the leftover rice and some kimchi and others, you pulled off the classic kimchi fried rice and in no time you heard the sound of the door's lock pad being pressed from the outside and the door swung opened. "Waaah~ I smell something delicious~" Hanni's voice echoed from the corridor as you just chuckled. "Welcome back~" You greeted her from the kitchen.
"I made fried rice~ You hungry?" You asked from the kitchen as Hanni walked over to the kitchen, still dressed warmly to handle to coldness outside. "I am starving..." She murmured as she got to the pan and immediately took a spoonful bite slowly as the food's still hot. "Ohh hot- hot- hot- mmnh~ As expected from your fried rice. Delicious~"
"At least take the mittens off first love..." You laughed lightly at her hands still covered with mittens as she took another bite before chuckling. "...I'll get it all prepared at the living room while you get changed, deal?" You stood over next to her before she pursed her lips at you, asking for a kiss "Kisseu~ Kisseu~" and you gave it to her affectionately.
"Hmm you taste like kimchi." You hummed and she just laughed it off as Hanni then went over to the bedroom to get change while you're preparing the dinner by the living room. "Do we still have enough food in the fridge?" Hanni's voice echoed as she eventually got into the living room.
"I think it's enough to last until the middle of the month." You answered as she sat down next to you. "Mommy told me that she'll be sending us some food in a few days so... I think we got December all covered up. But just in case, I'll be saving some more money." Hanni snickered as you got a plate full of the dinner you made.
Her squeals were echoing in the living room and even though their dinner's simple, it's wholesome and filled with love so she took a bite happily. "Are you working on the 20th when Yongbok's coming back to Korea?" She asked with her mouth full as you just shook your head. "I took the day off in advance earlier this month. What about you?" You asked as she also shook her head. "Chaeyoung unnie gave me a day off as well. That's great then. We'll go to the airport right? I think Haerin wanted to come with us to the airport as well."
"Sure. I am planning on going anyway." You agreed to her as her smile was relieved. "By the way honey, you know the electronic store down the road? They're currently having sales on their items until the end of January next year and I happened to see a nice television being displayed at the front of the store..."
"You want to get a television?" You asked as Hanni chuckled with a shy nod. "I mean not those big fancy television, just enough for us two and our living room here really could use a television right?" She gave her reason as you snickered slightly. "Okay sure, we'll take a look at the store soon. No problem."
"Thanks~" The two of you then continued your dinner peacefully before Hanni went on and doing the dishes while you're resting by the couch in the living room. As soon as she's done, Hanni took a peek at you who's laying down while reading a poetry book before she got back to the bedroom and went back to you while carrying something.
Carefully went back, she took another peek at you who's still reading the book peacefully. "Baby~" She called out to you as you looked over to her with a hum before she sat down next to you and offered her laps for you to lay your head down and you gladly took that offer. "I actually got you something today~"
"Oh...?" You had your eyes fixed on hers while putting your book aside as she looked down at you with a smile. "...what is it?" You asked while still laying down before Hanni handed you a paper bag and it took no time for you to realize the certain fruit logo on it. "No way..." You heaved out in excitement as you took out what's inside the bag and she got you an Airpods Max.
"You're joking right?" You asked as she just chuckled. "No I'm not~ Open it up. It's real see there's still the plastic seal wrapping the box as well." She was caressing your hair as you excitedly got the box opened up and she really got you a new headphone with your favorite color black. "Wow... Honey... This is so great. Wow..." You were admiring her gift as you're caressing it and Hanni's smile couldn't been more happier.
"I thought that, you've been spending a lot for me and this apartment ever since the beginning when we moved in and I just want to give something back to you as a token of my appreciation for everything you've done for our new home." Hanni gave your forehead a kiss. "Try it on~"
You slowly sat back up as you wore the headphone while looking at her with a chuckle. "How do I look?" You asked as she had her thumbs up. "Handsome. Like an artist~ Oh- oh- now that I remembered, you kinda looks like one of the members in Seventeen..." Hanni answered playfully as you then gave her a tight hug, pulling her up, making her squeals until you laid back down the couch and Hanni's on top of you.
"I love you. God I love you so much." You whispered as she rested her forehead on yours while chuckling lightly. "I know." Hanni dived in for a deep kiss that always engulfed with the same amount of love as your first kiss with her. "...by the way I need to take a picture of you with the headphone. For our precious memories~"
With a light laugh, Hanni got off you slowly as you sat back down before she took her time, taking photos of you before she let out a satisfied laugh as you got the headphone on one of the pillow while still maintaining the modelling expression on your face before you too burst out laughing.
After the pictures were taken, you tried the headphones back on and connecting it with your phone to play some music while Hanni's next to you, silently admiring you who's so excited about her gift and couldn't contain her snickers and smiles. After a while, Hanni held onto your hand, gaining your attention as you lowered the headphone onto your neck while looking at her.
"By the way, that's not my only gift for you baby~" Hanni's response made you a bit confused. "There's more?" You made your voice sounded excited as she's chuckling with a nod then she got her bag from the side of the couch and you saw her took out an envelope and immediately there's this warmth inside your heart as she handed it to you. "Really~ Wow am I getting a love letter from my Pham Hanni~? I actually am going to love this more than the airpods."
Hanni let out a snicker as she watched you opening the envelope carefully with eyes full of love and adoration for you. After getting it opened, you took a piece of neatly folded notebook paper and slowly you unfolding it before reading what Hanni had written for you...
"To my dearest beloved soulmate, bestie and lover, Yongjae. My thoughts start and end with you. In every direction I turn, I find you in every view and I never stop thinking about you every day and every night. Even when I'm sinking, I'm thinking of you, every morning down to every sunset, I can't remove you from my sight. Your eyes, your laugh, your smile and your soul, all of it written down perfectly into every chapter of our story and I can go on to reread every pages of you.
Ever since we moved into our own apartment, our haven, you've been working hard, day and night, finding balance for pretty much everything, University, work, home and myself yet you're still able to go on every day with the warmest of smile and I know there's nothing that I can do, no matter how much I do it, will ever be able to repay for everything you've done for me, for us up to this point.
Please know that you can slow down and take a breather, sit down with me, lay your head down on my laps and rest. We're in this together and as much as I know you want me to have a great and a complete life in our new home, there's nothing else I want more than for us to have that life together. I appreciate everything you've done for me honey and I will never get tired of being thankful for you and I will show it to you in any ways possible.
Knowing that you're here and are always here for me made me being able to rest at ease and there's nothing better than having you here with me. In every direction I go, in every angle I turn, in every road I walk on, you being there with me is truly a blessing I'm thankful to be graced with.
I love you. In every hour, in every minute, in every second of every day and every night, I will always continue to love you with all of my heart and soul. Because you're here for me is more than enough."
As soon as you finished reading, your eyes immediately closed down as you breathed out a long one then you placed the envelope and the letter safely by the table before you had your palms covering your face. Soon after you felt her warm hands letting your hands down then your cheeks being cupped gently by her hands and your head lifted up.
With your eyes slowly opening, obviously building up with tears as you're trying hard to contain them and being strong in front of her. "Don't cry okay..." She whispered softly as you closed your eyes again while letting out an embarrassed chuckle and Hanni instantly getting the tears running down your eyes off your cheeks with her thumbs. Breathing in a long one, you locked eyes with her with the brightest of your smile and instantly Hanni had her forehead rested on yours.
"I will never get tired of saying this. I never regret meeting you Hanni. Never..." You whispered calmly as she nodded her head slowly. "And I never regret loving you Yongjae. Never..." She whispered and in the end, you and her shared a laugh before kissing each other's lips filled with love and sincerities.
You and Hanni spend the rest of the evening with her laying her head comfortably on your lap with you leaning back against the sofa while continued reading the poem book. From time to time, your eyes reverted down at Hanni who's scrolling through her phone while she's humming random songs softly from time to time.
Placed your poem book to the side, your hands made their way to her cheek and the top of her hand and gently you're caressing both her cheek and the top of her head, earning a chuckle from her before Hanni held onto your hand on her cheek before pressing it down gently and her eyes immediately closed, feeling the warmth of your palm. "Are you tired?" You asked as she gently shook her head.
"I was a bit tired before but after giving you the gifts and seeing you enjoying them so much made some of the tiredness fled away." Hanni opened her eyes and reverted her gaze at you. "How about you? You went to the gym before right?" She asked and you're chuckling lightly. "My body's a bit sore still but it's fine." You gave her a comfort smile before she pursed her lips into a pout. "You should've told me earlier... I'll go get the cooling pain relief gel first..."
In the end she went back to the bedroom and came back with the cream. "Alright shirt off please~" Hanni got onto the sofa with your back was facing her before you did what she asked and took your shirt off with a chuckle. "Where does it feel sore? Your arms?" Hanni asked as she getting some of the gel onto her palm and you nodded before she gently massage your arm. "Don't overdo yourself at the gym okay~ Just use the 10kg ones..." Hearing her somehow nagging made you chuckle.
"10kgs won't get me more muscles you know?" You lifted your arm she's massaging as she worked her way through your arm before getting to your other arm. "This is not enough?" She then pressed onto your bicep. "...I mean they're bigger than I remember they were though and you still want more?" Hearing her in a somehow nagging tone made you secretly thinking in your heart if this is how your marriage life would look like with her.
"I mean I can tone it down if you want me to." You whispered at her as she's massaging your shoulders and getting the cream onto your back. "No, I'm not asking you to tone it down honey, just... be careful with the heavy liftings and all that stuffs, I mean Mingyu oppa once strained his back so bad it put him on the sidelined for months as Minji told me before."
"Okay, I will..." You gently patted her hand massaging your shoulder as Hanni couldn't help but smiled softly. "Okay I'm done~" She then went off the sofa before heading for the kitchen while you're getting your shirt on. You got your poem book before you picked up the letter from her by the table and you couldn't contain your smile as you're placing the letter on the tip of your nose with your eyes closed.
Hanni who's getting back to you, stopped by the entrance as she saw you holding the envelope and she chuckled silently seeing you placing it inside the poem you're reading before. Somehow she's glad and thankful for tonight. "Ready for bed love?" She called out to you as you looked over to her with a chuckle then nodded your head. Placed the airpods around your neck, you walked over to her before giving her forehead a kiss.
You and Hanni went over to your bedroom as Hanni plunged herself on the bed with a playful squeal and snuggling herself into the warm blanket while you're getting your stuffs on the desk before eventually joining her and got into the blanket, laying safely next to her. Hanni immediately had her arms around you as your arm went under her pillow so she could snuggle closer to you.
"Thank you for tonight honey..." You whispered with your eyes closed and you could hear her snicker as she quickly landed a kiss on your cheek. "My safe space..." She whispered as her arms tightened around you. "... Dear God, I pray that this would last forever..." Hanni whispered her wish as her eyes were slowly drifting to sleep, safe and sound in your ever so warm embrace.
The winter cold breeze washing over her whole body from head to toe as she's dressed up warmly and at the same time she's been engulfed with feelings of nervousness from the start of her trip right to when her brother's parking his car over while her eyes couldn't leave the airport building next to her.
"You okay?" Mingyu's voice echoed in her ears as she turned her face to look at her brother with her expression shadowed with hesitation yet she's smiling lightly. "Am I doing something wrong here..." Minji's whisper made her brother gave her a few pats on the head gently with a smile.
"No. Whatever you're doing now, you're doing it because your heart tells you that it's okay. I can keep telling you that you're doing nothing wrong but what does your heart tells you Minji?" Mingyu asked rather calmly as Minji's eyes reverting away from her brother. "I wanted to do this..." Minji made her decision. "...I thought that everything was over between us but for the last few months back... I just couldn't help but being brought back and somehow it didn't hurt like it used to before..."
"Then as your brother, there's nothing that I can do beside trusting you. I could tell you this or that but in the end, it is never about my life, this is about yours and I want nothing but the best for my sister. If you believe that you needed this, that this somehow feels like the best for you then go for it okay? I'll wait for you here." With Mingyu's reassuring words, Minji gave her brother a smile before she got out of the car and made her way towards the terminal's waiting area for the arrivals and in each steps she took, her heart's beating rising and rising.
In the end, inevitably, she got in through the front gates and after stopping at a spot, her eyes were wandering around, looking for someone and it took her quite a while before she finally found that person, sitting by one of the many seats in the area by the far left end. She wanted to go over to him but her feet decided to remain still as her eyes were quietly looking at him.
As she hasn't been noticed yet, Minji took a deep breath before exhaling then her feet started to move, slowly approaching that person who still haven't notice her and it's a habit that Minji's all to familiar with when it comes to that person. And when she's a few steps away from the person, she breathed out silently then smiling softly.
"Yang Jeongin..." Minji called out to her used to be best friend who's now been trying to rekindle that beautiful friendship he and Minji had shared since childhood. Jeongin heard her before he looked up and she could see the excitement in his expression and that smile that's already too familiar in her memory. "You're here." His soft tone echoed in Minji's ears like she was back when she's younger.
"Am I late?" She asked as he's standing up and their eyes couldn't look away from each other as he shook his head. "Fifteen minutes didn't feel that long to be honest when you know that you're back home." He answered and Minji's soft smile turned wide before she slowly had her arms wrapped safely around him.
Surprised by her action, Jeongin was left frozen in his spot before he gathered enough courage to wrap an arm around her back before patting her back gently a few times. "Welcome back home." Minji whispered as all that she was feeling was a sense of peace and calmness.
"I'm home." Jeongin whispered back before she let him off her embrace. "...and I'm also very cold right now, not going to lie." Minji immediately cracked a light snicker before she took off the warm mittens covering her hands before she tried to get Jeongin's hands covered with it and thankfully they barely fit his hands.
"Is that okay?" She asked as he nodded. "A bit tight but it's warm. Thank you." He gave her a chuckle. "What did Mingyu hyung said to you when you told him about me?" Jeongin then asked before she just nodded her head with a smile. "He's alright with this. He's waiting for you back in the car as well. Let's go?" She pointed back at the gate as Jeongin took a deep breath before exhaling and nodding his head.
As nervous as Jeongin's feeling now, the two eventually reached back to Mingyu's car and Mingyu himself was waiting outside the car and immediately saw them came back. "There he is~" Mingyu's tone was welcoming as he went over and gave Jeongin a hug and a few pats in the back. "...how are you Jeongin? Good?" Mingyu asked as Jeongin could only nod his head with a light smile.
"Welcome back." Mingyu gave Jeongin a reassuring look that everything's going to be okay for them before he's glancing over to Minji and Jeongin next to each other and Mingyu couldn't even be happier and relief than now. "Come on. We're having hotpots for dinner." Mingyu then got back into the car.
As Jeongin and Minji exchanged glances again, the two then chuckled lightly in relief that everything's going well between them again and no friendship was lost despite the long years of one person resenting and not wanting to see the other while one person was trying so hard to save their friendship no matter what it takes.
And in those soft looks he gave her, Minji couldn't help but thinking about the story of you and Hanni. It made her believe that no matter how much pain, how long the rough roads ahead took you two, in the end Hanni and you found your solace with each other and she couldn't help but wonder if she could ever have the same story as you and Hanni.
"Write the ending you truly deserves to get..." That's what Minji's been saying to herself in her heart for the past days and now that Jeongin's back and next to her, she just silently prayed that if the universe is indeed vast and unlimited, surely there's a star up there in the sky that holds a second chance for her. A precious second chance that will never ever return back if not grasped onto tightly...
She knew that even though she's feeling like this but it doesn't mean that Jeongin's here because he felt the same way, she knew, she knew that there's always that chance that he's here because he's just trying to save this friendship between Minji and him and nothing more than that... but nevertheless, Minji's all grown up, she's matured herself over the years.
She also knew that being impatient would get her nowhere so this time... even though her time's limited, she will spend her time with him as a way for her, not only to mend the somehow still scarred heart of her, but to also see whether her story was just meant to remain as it is... or are there any hidden pages, any lost paragraphs left for her to uncover...
...and maybe this would her last ever chance to really write herself an ending to her life story that's been hanging up in the air for a long time. Hopefully she'll get to write that ending well and closing up this chapter of her life story before finally moving on to a new chapter...

Hanni's waking up from her peaceful slumber with the sound of your heart beating calmly beneath her ear. As she's lifting her eyelids up and closing them a few times, Hanni then tilted her head slightly and her eyes gazed up at your still sleeping face and immediately a soft smile spread across her face. She then turned her head slightly to her side, glancing over the clock by the wall and despite wanting to sleep more in your embrace, Hanni needed to make breakfast.
"Honey..." She whispered softly, trailing her fingers gently across the side of your hair. Although she could just get off the bed and went straight to the kitchen, she would feel bad and didn't want you to wake up alone later. "...Yongjae~" She called out your name in a hoarse yet gentle voice before she couldn't resist pressing her lips against yours softly.
Hanni could feel your lips stirred up slightly before in no time, your arms were wrapped safely around her and Hanni just let out a chuckle. "Good morning~" Hanni murmured, as your eyes were slowly opening up and in no time you and her shared eye contacts. "You're up early beautiful." Your hoarse, sleepy deep voice was one of Hanni's favorite sound to hear in this world.
"I need to make breakfast; we're going to the airport later remember?" Hanni was running her hand through your soft, long hair. "...you don't have to wake up now, it's still early. Sleep more okay?" Knowing that you worked until late night yesterday and still spend time tending to her needs last night, Hanni then planted kisses on your lips with a chuckle in between "I'll wake you up when breakfast's ready."
"Okay." You then let her off your embrace as Hanni slowly got herself out from the warm blanket covering the two of you then got off the bed before fetching your shirt from the floor then wearing it over her exposed bare top which eventually covered up her top all the way to the upper part of her thighs. She tied her messy hair down into a ponytail as she made her way to the kitchen.
After playing some music with her phone, Hanni went through last night's leftovers while singing peacefully then made her own version of fried rice before frying up some eggs as garnishes. While she's almost finished, you walked into the kitchen and she just chuckled when looking at you who's topless.
"I wondered where my shirt had gone. Found the culprit." You went over to her behind before wrapping your arms around her waist and Hanni couldn't help but chuckling slightly in her singing. "You're under arrest for taking my favourite shirt Miss Pham." You whispered softly into her ears. "It's our favourite shirt okay~" She sassed you back, making you giggled lightly. "I'm almost done~" She said before turning around and playfully gave your chest a gentle poke.
"Put some shirt on hottie, geez~" Her tone was teasing as she made her way to the fridge. "Haerin's coming here later by the way so we better get ready soon as well." Hanni said as you gave her an okay sign while yawning before getting yourself a shirt to put on by the bedroom then you and Hanni had a fulfilling breakfast to start your day.
With you doing the dishes today, Hanni took the chance to have a nice refreshing shower before you proceeded in cleaning up the apartment with vacuuming the floor and knowing that Hanni loves to take her time with pampering herself and making herself look good, you took that opportunity to get the house chores done.
After vacuuming and mopping the floor, you collected the thrash and piled them up to take downstairs later on before proceeding with doing the laundry. After finishing up, you went on and hanging up the laundry by a clothesline on a separate room as the outside was still covered with snow.
With everything settled, you went back to your room with Hanni had just finish her shower and now she's drying out her hair by the makeup table with a towel. "Did you finish all the chores...?" She asked as you just hummed while nodding your head.
"All done, don't worry." You were about to make up the bed before Hanni turned around from her chair. "I'll do that later honey okay? You've done enough already today. I want to do my part as well you know..." Hanni murmured with a pout as you just smiled softly at her before placing the bed sheet back. "Sometimes, I still feel blessed that we are in this life together."
"And you don't have to worry because I will always be there for you..." Hanni then walked over to you with a smile. "...I want you to feel loved as much as you do me, I want you to feel supported just as much as you've been supporting me and I want you to always rest assured that I have got your back on the sunny days, even more so on the rainy and snowy days."
"I feel like kissing you but you do need a shower first..." Hanni tilted her head with a snicker and you playfully pursing your lips and walked over to her before she squealed and tried to run away so you just slowly chasing her around your room. "Stop~ I'm still in my towel~" She begged with a whine cutely before you just crouched down, laughing your heart out that it was so infectious as Hanni shared a big laugh with you.
"Anything else we need?" Hanni asked as you and her were by the fridge in the kitchen. "We only have a container of kimchi left so we probably can start making some new batches soon..." You were scanning at what's inside the fridge while Hanni's writing up a list for grocery later on. "Eggs we still have plenty... probably some radish and tofu would be nice..." After finishing up by the fridge, you went over to the pantry cabinets and the list soon filling up before the sound of the door bell echoed in the apartment.
"Oh, that must be Haerin." Hanni gave you the grocery list before she went over to the door and saw Haerin's standing by the other side of the door through the small monitor by the wall and noticing that she's holding something in her hand so Hanni just opened the door. "And this is my best friend who also shares the same course with me in Uni, Hanni Pham~"
Hanni was a bit confused as Haerin was holding a camera and apparently she's recording. Hanni saw Haerin's other hand was signaling her to wave at the camera so Hanni just followed and gave the camera a wave with a light awkward smile and chuckle before Haerin paused her recording. "You're actually vlogging right now?" Hanni asked as Haerin just heaved out in exhaustion after entering the apartment. "I need so many clips to make it reach the ten-minute mark so... can I do like ummm like a tour around your apartment?"
"Honey do we need more garli-" You got over to the front and was surprised to see Haerin's holding a camera, thinking that she's recording. "Are you recording right now?" You whispered to Haerin as she just shook her head. "Not yet. But I want to ask for permission to record like a tour around the apartment?" She let her camera down while you gave her a nod with a light smile. "Sure. We're friends anyway so."
"Sure, sure, but bedroom is off limits okay~" Hanni then gave her friend a hug from behind before shaking her playfully with the two sharing a laugh. "What time are we leaving?" You asked as you went back to the kitchen with the two ladies followed you. "In about one hour and a half from now." Haerin confirmed before she took her time properly and got clips that she needed for her recently made channel.
But surprisingly, Haerin's channel was blowing up with new followers on the first two weeks and her two vlogs that she had posted was getting a quite large number of views even for a beginner. Little did Haerin know that someone's been working hard behind the scene and that someone was none other than Danielle. Having such a big circles of friends that she is, Danielle used that opportunity to properly promote Haerin's channel and vlogs to lots and lots of her friends and colleagues whenever possible and it created a chain reaction.
Danielle's been there since Haerin had made it known to her friends of her interest in doing vlogs and being the caring friend that Danielle is, she's been there for Haerin whenever Haerin needed someone to help her. Seeing how caring and thoughtful Danielle is, Haerin didn't want to let her friend's effort to lay waste and she too had to work hard, trying hard to get out of her introverted shell and with Yongbok's continuously supporting her despite being 7,000 kilometers away from her, Haerin made her dream and interest a reality now.
An hour had passed by and the three of you are now on your way to the airport to come pick Yongbok up who's getting back from Australia as he promised earlier this year. Haerin's been patient for the past months of waiting for him and she's been trying her best to come out of her shell and embracing her dreams for Yongbok and herself.
At the back seat, Haerin continued with her recordings of the trip to the airport, the outside views and even a few clips of the two of you talking with each other before they eventually arrived by the airport. "The time now is... 12:48..." Haerin closed up on her watch before moving her camera, recording the airport building. "...Yongbok should arrived here safely already. So let's go~"
"Let's go~" Hanni walked over across the camera as Haerin couldn't contain her laughter while you walked over the camera with a wave before Haerin took the lead and fast approaching the terminal building as it's really cold outside. Eventually, the three friends made it inside and since it's almost holiday season, there's quiet a lot of people.
"Is he here already..." Haerin was turning around and her eyes were wandering around along with her camera. "You sure his flight didn't get delayed because of the snow?" Hanni asked from behind as Haerin was beginning to worry a little bit. "I don't think so..." Haerin checked the flights schedules on the big screen and she saw Yongbok's flight number had safely arrived already. "...the thing with Yongbok is that, he is blonde and more often he tends to stand out amongst the crowd so it's probably easy to spot him..."
"I mean it's holiday season as well and airports are usually crowded this time of the year..." You said as the three of you were walking past people and crowds, trying to find a more open space. After finding a spot, Haerin's observant eyes were wandering around but this time it's a bit hard to notice the one she wanted to see.
"Kang Haerin~" A deep yet so familiar voice echoed faintly in the air and Haerin immediately turned to where the sound came from and she saw him, she saw Yongbok walking towards them while pushing his luggage and bags on a cart. Despite wearing a face mask, that blonde hair was enough for her to know that it's him. "Kang Haerin~" He called out to her again with his hand waving at them.
Haerin quickly went over to him with her still trying hard to capture every seconds of the moment with her camera. Yongbok got over to her and immediately gave Haerin a longing hug filled with the unspoken amount of longing and missing that they've been feeling the past months and now they're reunited again. "I thought your flight got delayed or anything..." Haerin looked up to him with a pout as Yongbok's smiling softly. "There's a long wait in the baggage claim before so I got out the gates a bit late."
"What's this~" Yongbok's muffled voice echoed as he looked over to the camera screen and soon realized. "You're vlogging right now? Really~ Haerin is vlogging right now?" He asked with a chuckle as Haerin nodded her head. "I told you I'll do it today but of course I need to edit the videos first guys~" Haerin closed up on their faces as Yongbok's feeling so glad and happy to see Haerin's coming out of her shell and she's trying hard. "We're finally together again~" Haerin said cheerfully with a chuckle.
"Welcome back Yongbok." Yongbok then went over to you and shared the same brotherly hug as the last time as you patted him in the back a few times. "...good to see you again." You said as Hanni went over and also gave her friend a hug. "I'm glad you're okay. Welcome back home Yongbok~" Then Yongbok's looking for someone else apparently.
"Where's Minji by the way?" Yongbok's looking for the other member of the group who's missing today. "Minji's spending time with someone now." Hanni explained as Yongbok was a bit surprised. "Really? You mean like... with a guy? She's going out with someone now?" He asked and Hanni nodded. "...that's great then. About time that girl should be seeing someone."
"You're hungry?" Haerin went over to Yongbok and he nodded his head. "I'm so hungry right now and all I want to eat right now is Korean food." Yongbok chuckled as he took off his face mask. "Then you two want to just eat at the usual restaurant back in town? Me and Yongjae can take you two there." Hanni suggested and you nodded your head. "Join us then Pham Pham~ It'll be better when all of us are eating together." Haerin said as Hanni looked over to you who just shrugged lightly with a smile. "Alrighty then." Hanni chuckled.
"Alright guys, now Yongbok's safely arrived home, we're going to have lunch now and let's just jump over after this okay?" Haerin then covered up the lens with her palm before stopped recording. Haerin immediately went over and gave Yongbok another hug as Yongbok gave her a few gentle pats in the back. "You're doing well my Kang Haerin~ I am so proud of you." Yongbok's words gave Haerin the instant comfort and boost that she's been longing to feel.
You helped Yongbok with the cart as the four of you got back to the car and immediately drove your way out of the airport with Haerin and Yongbok safely in each other's embrace by the back seat.
