Evangeline's pov:
I SMILED AT THE stacks of the selfies that we all had taken. First, it was only Gia and Evie smiling wide and laughing. The last one captured the beautiful sight of all seven of us girls laughing at something Gia had said. I was over the moon, We had formed a bond over one night and it was shocking how quick they opened up to her.
Of course they didn't go all in and spoke about their lives on the Isle, but they did all the basic things any other friends would do once they spent a day together. They watched knockoff movies, ate a whole lot of junk food, Ivy gave drama about everyone we knew and Mal , Evie , and Gia were surprised about how much stuff a princess could talk yet loved it, and we talked about boys very little , even though I wanted to ramble on about Jay the whole time.
I bid the girls goodbye and headed towards my door, I approached my dorm and put the key into the lock "Geline! Gelly!" I hear jays voice and I turn to see Jay running at me "I have a question!"he exclaimed before coming to a stop , placing his hands on my shoulders.
I raise my brows and tilt my head "Geline? Gelly?" I ask with a smirk referring to my new nickname. He let out laugh and stared at me with a smirk "You know because evan- Geline or Gel, Gelly— doesn't matter. I have a question" and the tadpoles start running free and the blush creeps up my neck and ear tips, I slowly bit my lip "What's the question?" I ask with the light raise of my eyebrows
Jay took a deep breath and looked at me "I was going to ask if you wanted to go on a date with me tomorrow?" He explained and my eyes widened a bit "Yes! But wait — you hardly know Auradon." I pointed out and he leaned back and crossed his arms cockily "I have my ways. Anyways, will you go on a date with me?" He asked hopefully
I lean back on my door and cross my arms "Of course I'll go on a date with you, Jay." I say with a scrunched up smile.
I turn around and twist the lock "I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask with a raised eyebrow "Yeah!" He coughed before adjusting himself leaning back trying to act chill "I- I mean , Yeah — yeah I'll see you tomorrow." He said and I giggled before he gave me finger guns and hurried off
I walk into my room and pickup beignet and spin her around letting out many giggles "I think I may be in love."

IM WALKING IN THE HALLWAY alongside McKenna and Kenneth, the redheads. I'm wearing the brightest smile and I'm feel like I'm literally glowing "Why are you so happy?" McKenna asked tossing her backpack to Kenneth who catches it with a confused expression
"Oh , no reason." I say spinning in a circle "Did you give her something?" Kenna asked Kenneth and he shook his head rapidly , "No, but I know why she's so happy." Kenneth said with a grin and I shooed him off
"Jeez, a girl can't be happy. I'm always happy." I cross my arms and turn around stopping us in our tracks , Holden walk up and leans on McKenna "Someone's giddy." He teased and I groan turning around and walking off
I turn a corner and I go to open my locker "Eva!" Gia's voice calls out and I turn to her and raises an eyebrow "I've been looking for you everywhere! I would've asked Evie but she's busy helping Mal." Gia said oddly fast as if she was nervous "Slow down!" I laugh
Gia takes a deep breath "So, uh, Holden asked me on a date to the archery fields. And I'm fully prepared just, what should I wear?" She asks nervously and I see Leila walking near us "Dressing isn't my forte but, it is hers" I point at Leila
"Lei!" I call and she walks over "Hi Gia!" Leila exclaimed and gives me a hug "Holden asked Gia here on a date to the archery fields and she needs help getting dressed, think you can help her?" I ask with a grin and I can see a flip go off in her brain
"You're in great hands!" Leila said sternly yanking Gia away and I let out a haul of laughters "Take pictures!" I called after them and Leila gave me a quick thumbs up.
I go an open my locker and I grab the keys to my custom motorbike, It's a triumph thruxton and is a safe green color with cute lily pads plastered all over the back. I put all my stuff at the bottom of my locker . I stand back up and close my locker and see Jay leaning on the nearby one
"You've gotta stop doing that." I giggle playfully hitting him in the arm "Nah , I'm alright. It's funny seeing you do a small little jump each time." Jay grinned and I roll my eyes
"I do not do a little 'hop'." I cross my arms and Jay nods his head enthusiastically "Oh I have a question for you." I say taking both his hands in mine "Would you go to the coronation with me?" I ask with a hopeful gleeful smile
Jay scans my face, I'm pretty sure to see if I'm being serious or not after a beat — or a hundred , he finally speaks "Yes , Yes I will. Gladly. Mhm, yep." Jay says nervously and I laugh
"Are you ready to go?" He asks and I wiggle my car keys in front of his face "Mhm, and I'm giving you the privilege of driving." He raises an eyebrow and I lead him to the parking lot of the school.
He looks at the bike then back at me then back at the bike again "This belongs to you?" He asks "Don't sound so surprised." I say crossing my arm and poking my hip out "This belongs to you." Jay said more sternly "Yes and if you crash it, I kill you." I say halfway playing

Jay's pov:
AFTER I HAD TAKEN EVA TO a museum filled with the history of everything, Art, magic , food, music etc. I drove us to the enchanted lake and helped Eva get her helmet off and she places hers on the seat while I place mine on the handle.
I lead her down a path, my hand in hers "Okay close them." I instruct and Eva scrunches her nose in confusion "Your eyes , Gelly. Close them." I say again walking behind her putting my hand over her eyes
We take a few more steps and I made sure she was settled and not wobbling on the log that I had her stand on "Okay, open." I removed my hands from her eyes and I study her face as she looks ahead at the enchanted lake. I set up a picnic spot with everything Holden and Kenneth had told me to. Beignets , Oreos, cake pops, Gumbo, and a whole bunch of fruit — with melted chocolate on the side for her to dip them in.
She whips her head and peers up at me "How did you do this?" She ask in shock with her nose doing the cute scrunching thing "I had some help from the nephew of an ice queen and the son of a god." I bragged with a proud smile "You talked to Holden and Kenneth." Eva looked straight into my eyes, "Don't sound so shocked." Jay mocked my words from earlier.
She grabs my face and presses a firm kiss to my cheek before dashing off to the picnic , I laugh loudly "Gelly wait!" I called after her chasing her down making sure she doesn't fall and hurt her self.
She sits down on the plaid white and seafoam green blanket and I follow suit, leaning my arm on my knee , she grabs a beignet and stuffs it into her mouth wiping her mouth in the process, I grab one and I take a bite, wow these things are fantastic — I may have to ask mal to find a spell for this sometime.
Eva looks at me with those beautiful green- Hazel eyes. Her eyes were a light brown that took over mostly, but had a hint of green right around the middle, and the way the light bounced of the lake and into her eyes made them a thousand times more enticing.
"What?" I ask going to wipe my mouth "Do I have powdered sugar on my face?" I ask scrubbing my face . Eva grabs my wrist and holds it to the floor "No babe, you're just super, super, super cute." She flirted and I feel something weird in my stomach , again. I felt it back when she gave me a hug in the kitchen
She look at me with the widest grin, "Let's go for a swim." She stands up and starts unzipping the back of her dress. I quickly turn around and I swallowed the large lump just hanging around in my throat. When the rustling stopped I turn back to see Eva gone, nowhere in sight.
"Eva?" I said thinking she did some kind of an invisibility spell , I feel around and feel nothing. I look around the lake "EVA!" I shouted loudly with a worried expression "Hiiii!" I hear her loud voice call out and I spin around to see her standing on top of the cliff, my eyes scan around her body. A very nice one, curved, firm, the girl has better abs then most guys I've seen, and pretty small, petite if you will. I let out a relieved sigh leaning on the post but then I realized she's standing, on a cliff!
"You should see how amazing my jump is!" She called out and I shook my head "Wait! Let's maybe not do that!" I called back "Aw Jay! Are you worried about me!" She teased placing her hands on her hip , I bite the inside of my cheek, "No!" I called back "Oh really!" She picks one foot off the cliff and dangles it over the edge and I lunge forward cautiously , and swallow all sense of my pride "Okay! Okay! I'm worried, I don't want you to hurt yourself!" I told her
She laughs and my body warms. That girl had a laugh that can light any dark room. "It's alright Jay, I've been flipping since I was a little tadpole in the womb." She reassured before letting out a cheer when she does a whip back landing feet first in the water .
I wipe my hands over my face letting out a troubled laugh, I sink to the floor watching over the lake spotting my girl — this doesn't feel right anymore. That voice in my head says for the one hundredth time since we've gotten here.
Me spelling Eva into falling in love with me, is making me feel awful. And not the good kind. I don't know what this is that im feeling. When I'm around Eva I feel secure , safe, and happy. This girl makes me so happy I should be disgusted. The way she scrunches her nose when she's laughing or looking for something or deep in thought. The way she always blushes when I flirt with her. And the way she's so damn excepting of me, all of me.
I look over not seeing Eva swimming around the lake "Eva?" I say standing up "EVANGELINE!" I took my jacket off and snatched my beanie off my head , I go to jump into the water but Eva pops her little head up, her curls flowing down her back, and she rest her hands on the concrete "Oo full name, am I in trouble?" She smirks and I lean down and shake my head pointing a stern finger at her
"Don't ever scare me like that!" And she laughs loudly "Breathe babe, I just went around the boulder. I'm fine , Mkay?" She climbs out of the water and I hold my hand out helping her out , "Okay." I breathe reaching around her and wrapping a towel around her shoulders
We sit down side by side on the blanket and she picks my hand up and places it on her thigh, and begins to draw shapes on them "Hey Jay?" She whispers and I look at her "Hmm?" I hummed quickly in response turning to her and pushing a small curl that was falling in her face back. She peers up at me with those Green- Brown eyes , those eyes are going to be the death of me "I love you." The moment those three words leave her lips I take my index finger and thumb to tilt her chin up , I lean forward and take her lips in mines. I love her too, at least I think I do. But I can't say it back, it'll make the ending a thousands times harder.
