That's what you always say.
Deep down I know you're not.
Deep inside, you know you're not.
But you're fine.
So you're fine.
"I'm fine, as always."
That's what you say each day.
You care for others but not yourself.
You won't let others care for your self.
Because you're fine.
So yes, you're fine.
"I'm always fine."
I'm used to that phrase.
And that's not normal (to me, anyways.)
If only you'd let down your guard for a day.
But you're okay.
So okay, you're fine.
"You know me, I'm always fine."
Sometimes I question if I really do.
There's so much I don't know about you
But I won't know if you keep waving me off
Because you won't say that you're not fine.
So you're fine.
"I'm fine."
You give advice you're not willing to take,
You look out for others with your life at stake
But it's fine because why worry where nothing will change?
So let it be, I'm fine, I'm okay.
So you're fine.
You know I know
I know you know
But we both know that I won't know.
Because
"I'm fine."
