On a beach near the city. Nayeon was under a big umbrella, lying on the sand beside Jihyo and Dahyun. She invited her friends but Chaeyoung and Mina had another engagement before her last-minute plan, resulting in them not being able to attend.
"Who's that guy?" Nayeon asked, referring to the man carrying containers with Jeongyeon
"That's Bambam" Dahyun replied "He stays with Chaeyoung"
Nayeon's mouth agape "OMO! He's-"
Dahyun nodded "Yup! He's that guy"
"He's your friend now?" Nayeon asked in disbelief
"He seems fine. Never cause problems, not even once" Jihyo
Nayeon shrugs her shoulders "If you say so"
"Our kids love this place" Jihyo uttered
"Kai's into swimming. I want him to see this place before we leave" Nayeon
"Leaving again?" Dahyun
"My job requires traveling. I can't stay in one place" Nayeon
"How about your son? Doesn't it affect him? You transfer him to another school most of the time" Jihyo
"As much as I want him to stay in one place and be with other normal kids, I'm afraid there's no one I can leave him with" Nayeon
"He's Jeongyeon unnie's child, isn't he?" Dahyun uttered as she watched Nayeon's kid, running with her children "Just ask her to look after her child"
"Yah!" Nayeon quickly tapped Dahyun and signaled her to keep quiet because Jeongyeon's approaching them
"Why?" Dahyun asked in confusion "Jeongyeon unnie's the best person to look after him"
"Jeongyeon still lives a single life, what does she know about taking care of a child?" Nayeon
Dahyun looked at Lisa and winked, the latter immediately understood the assignment. She wasn't that far from them after all, and she heard the entire conversation.
Lisa put her right hand's thumb and middle finger into her mouth and whistled to call her kids "PRRRRRRRRRRR!"
Jeeongyeon's brows automatically creased. She took a step near Lisa and didn't hesitate to smack the back of the latter's head "YAH! YOU STUPID! YOUR DAUGHTERS AREN'T PETS!"
Dahyun turned her head in Nayeon's direction and smiled "I guess you were wrong for not telling her about Kai. Thinking that Jeongyeon unnie will not be a good parent is a mistake"

At a glance, people may think that the two were just simply facing the sea but Jeongyeon and Bambam were bickering over nonsense. For some reason, Jeongyeon couldn't find herself getting near Nayeon, which is why she brought Chaeyoung's housemate with her- so that she has some company.
"I have no time for stupid kinds of stuff, I rather sleep all day and play all night" Jeongyeon replied when Bambam asked her to find a lover
"You're living a life of a gamer now huh?" Bambam
"I'm not a gamer, I just like playing games" Jeongyeon
"That's just the same" Bambam
"They aren't, those were different things" Jeongyeon
"If you're not banging a woman. You stay up all night to play, and who the hell is your wallpaper?" Bambam said and pointed at Jeongyeon's phone
"That's Trevor from GTA V"
The two looked back and saw Naeyon's kid. The boy stood behind them.
"You also play?" Jeongyeon tried to start a conversation
"I like playing games too but I only borrow Mom's laptop, she uses it often these days" Kai
"Kai hyung! Let's play!"
Kai quickly runs towards her aunt's kids as they call for him.
"What are you looking at?" Bambam asked, seeing Jeongyeon suddenly search for the newest laptop model on her phone
"I'll get him a laptop" Jeongyeon
Bambam pulled his head back "What for? Is he your child or something?"
Jeongyeon was taken aback. The child was never hers in the first place, so there's no need for him to provide for the latter. She shrugged it off before putting her phone back in her handbag.
"What's that?" Bambam asked after a thing caught his eyes when Jeongyeon unzipped her small bag
"This?" Jeongyeon took out a card from her wallet
Bambam's forehead creased as he watched Jeongyeon looking at the PVC card she was holding "Mingyu just awarded you a loyalty card"
Jeongyeon looked at the latter and smiled "Isn't it amazing?"
"His business is a motel, and you got a loyalty card for checking in frequently" Bambam replied
"I bring good memories in his business" Jeongyeon replied "I believe- I should be awarded for that"
"What kind of memory? Getting laid by a married woman?" Bambam asked "What the hell were you thinking every time a husband come to you just for a confrontation?"
"The 'I'm drunk and don't know anything better' always works. There's no need to explain myself any further" Jeongyeon
Bambam rolled his eyes "What were you thinking during those times you hit on a girl?"
"Easy..." Jeongyeon quickly replied "If the sun can warm their body, so can I" she proudly said
"WARM?! You're old bro, you even use essential oil as a body wash" Bambam
"Hey! I'm not old! I can still break a bed with a girl beneath me" Jeongyeon protested
"Yeah, with your bones cracking at the same time" Bambam
"Stop attacking me asshole" Jeongyeon
"You sounded like our old spinster neighbor" Bambam
"You don't have an old neighbor" Jeongyeon utter
"Well- we do now" Bambam replied "The unit beside Chaeyoung's was finally occupied. An old woman moved in and she has a lot of cats"
"The one on the right when you get off the elevator?" Jeongyeon asked to confirm
Bambam nodded "Yeah"
"Does Chaeyoung know?" Jeongyeon asked
Bambam shakes his head "She hasn't been home. She's been staying with Mina"
"Does she know that someone's about to move in?" Jeongyeon
"Naaah" Bambam uttered "What's the big deal though?"
"It's the unit beside Chaeyoung's. It's always a big deal" Jeongyeon
"She left Vatican City in her own will. There's no good reason for her to keep that place" Bambam
Jeongyeon rolled her eyes "It's Chaeyoung, everything is a big deal to her except her height-"
"Oh" Bambam felt his phone vibrate from his pocket and quickly took it "Speaking of the devil" He let Jeongyeon see his phone screen, showing an incoming call from the cub

The night come, and everyone was asleep except Jeongyeon and her two horny friends.
She was sleeping soundly just five minutes ago but was awakened by Jihyo's moans from the couch. Tzuyu and Jihyo went to her room for a quickie because the two were sharing a room with their kids and didn't hesitate to use Jeongyoen's room as an escape plan.
Jeongyeon is now walking at the seashore, trying to have peace of mind. But her brain does not obey her, as it keeps thinking about her and Kai's resemblance. She firmly believes that Kai is hers but couldn't understand why Nayeon wouldn't tell her if the kid is hers.
There were a lot of questions inside her head but she couldn't get the courage to speak with Nayeon because, after their sexcapade inside the pantry during Kai's birthday party, they never spoke again. She just received a text regarding the trip and nothing more.

Bambam pulled out the PT from the paper bag and handed it to Chaeyoung "Here"
The latter asked him to buy a pregnancy test on his way home. Once they got back, he bought the PT and went to Mina's place where Chaeyoung was staying.
Chaeyoung quickly went inside the bedroom to give the pregnancy test to Mina, and the latter went inside the shower.
"How was the trip?" Chaeyoung asked while she and Bambam were waiting on the sofa
"Fun... Jihyo and Tzuyu did it again" Bambam shared "I swear, one of these days, the twins will catch them"
Chaeyoung laughs "I wonder how will they explain it to their kids"
"Tzuyu's a person with excuses. She'll get through it" Bambam
"I heard Somi didn't go" Chaeyoung suddenly uttered "She hates you, like a lot... What's between the two of you?"
Bambam was taken aback but the conversation couldn't go unheard "Let's just say that our hearts are old friends" He replied
"You are old" Chaeyoung
The two sit straight upon hearing the clicking sound of the bathroom door.
Almost half an hour had passed before Mina came out from the shower. When she walked into the living room, Chaeyoung immediately stood and approached the latter.
"How was it?" Chaeyoung asked in excitement
Mina's smile turned to a frown "It's negative"
Chaeyoung went beside the Japanese woman and put her arm around Mina's shoulder, putting her hands on both of the latter's shoulders and caressing them.
"It's fine... We can try again" Chaeyoung
For some reason, Mina can't conceive a life. She had seven miscarriages for the past six years. It came one after another.
"Maybe the PT I bought was defective" Bambam butts in
"It's the third time" Mina uttered, saying that she didn't just use one pregnancy test.
Mina faintly smiled and found a way to excuse herself "I'll just get ready for the trip later"
"Where to?" Bambam asked in curiosity
"We'll have a family dinner tonight" Chaeyoung
"Good for you, at least spend a night with Mina before she leaves tomorrow" Bambam
"You're going with us" Chaeyoung uttered, making the latter turn to her
Bambam smiled as he pointed at himself "I'm going too?"
"You're not going to spend the holidays alone" Chaeyoung

"You didn't tell me it was a camping and a barbeque night" Bambam uttered as he and Chaeyoung carried the bags out of the latter's car
"I didn't know it either" Chaeyoung replied
It was afternoon when they arrived. Mina came with her family, while Chaeyoung drove with her housemate.
"What took you so long?" Hyunjin asked as he, Ryujin, and Ni-ki approached the two
"Your sister fell asleep" Bambam
"Noona's been waiting for you" Ni-ki
Chaeyoung throws her duffle bag to Hyunjin, which the latter successfully catches with his reflexes "I'll go see Mina" She then points at her brother and cousin "Be good"
"The last time you left me with them, they made me buy them beer" Bambam
"You have nothing to worry about, we're legally allowed to get drunk now" Ryujin
Chaeyoung just shakes her head as she leaves to look for Mina.
The place where the cabin is located is in the middle of the woods, there is a bonfire on the patio and their family and friends are scattered around the cabin.
Chaeyoung greeted everyone she passed on her way to Mina. The Yoo and Im's family were also present. It's like a mini-reunion for their fathers.
Not far from the group is Nayeon's dad, who is busy chopping wood that they will use to keep the fire.
Unbeknownst to them, the man had been hiding his anger and was just waiting for the right time to unleash it.
It all started when the Im family reached the cabin earlier that day. The man of the house saw photos hanging on the wall, the house belongs to Moon Sook, which is Jeongyeon's maternal grandmother and also the mother of Chaeyoung's dad.
Pictures of a long family history can be seen inside the house. Chaeyoung's late grandmother loved keeping pictures and created a collage of each of her grandchildren from the day they were born until they reached the legal age. Their grandma only stopped taking photos of their family when she died.
"SON CHAEYOUNG!"
Chaeyoung's eyes widened as Nayeon's father started marching towards her with an axe in his hand.
