Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you this book will probably be coming to a close soon. I might do a oneshot every now and then but I'm kinda running out of ideas and inspiration. So this will be one of the last oneshots for a while.
Sabine use to love the holidays, again, use to love the holidays.
But since ezra disappeared with the purgil almost a decade ago she had lost the hope and joy of life-day
She tried to seam happy and joyfully, especially for Jacen and hera.
It didn't meen that was how she felt though...
" Sabine can you pass the bread?" Hera asked.
The mandalorian shook her head from her thoughts and handed the bread to thr twielk
" are you okey aunt sabine?" Jacen asks her with big eyes
She forces a smile at him
" of coarse little loth cat" She says and tassels his hair
Hera smiles at both of them and they continue to eat there meal.
After a few moments of silence hera cleared her voice
" well uncle zeb will be here with uncle rex tonight" hera tells her son who is beaming
The artist smiles at her mother figure
" ya, uncle rex!" Jacen cheers
" will he tell us stories!?" The green haired boy asks excitedly
Hera smirks
" of coarse he's also bringing somone to meet you" the twielk says excitedly and looks up at sabine
Sabine cocks her head in confusion
" who? Ahsoka?" Sabine asks
Hera looks at the mandalorian
" no, but I know you'll like them" hera says and empties her plate
Sabine looks puzzled and puts her dish in the sink
" aunt Sabine! Can you help me hang this up?" Jacen asks Sabine after dinner
He's holding a green and red plant
" sure, but why?" She asks and inspects the mistletoe
Jacen shruggs
" mom just wants it up for some reason" he says
Sabine looks puzzled but helps Jacen hang up the mistletoe
She smiles and chuckled softly as she finishes
" what is it?" Jacen asks
" this just reminds me of a story about your father and uncle ezra" Sabine says
Jacen looks up to her with big green eyes
" can you tell me?" He asks
Sabine smirks
" I thought you preferred rex to tell you stories" She says
" ya but you always talk about uncle ezra a lot and I like hearing about him!" The child says excitedly
Hera smirks and takes a seet on the sofa hot chocolate in hand
Sabine smiles up at hera and sits on the opposite side of her
" Okey Jacen I'll tell you the story" Sabine says
The child sits on the floor and looks at her in awe
" it was your uncle ezras 5th Christmas with us and we were all decorating..." She starts
" zeb I need one more ornament for the tree!" Ezra calls to zeb
Zeb tosses ezra the ornament and the padawean places it on the tree carefully with the force
He hoped down and inspected the tree
" not bad if I don't say so myself" ezra says and smirks
" whats that?" Sabine says and walks int he room in a Hoodia and shorts
Ezra inspects her carefully his cheeks flushing softly
" the Christmas tree of course" He says
She smirks and folds her arms
He gulps
" you call that decorating a tree?" She says playfully and walks towards him and the tree
" matter a fact I do" He says proudly
Sabine giggles
" you need help ez" She says and nudges his shoulder
He flushes and looks down
" half of the ornaments are on one side" She says and laughs
Ezra frowns and looks at her
" it's called style" He says and does a hand justure
She smacks his hand away.
" it's called chaos" Sabine says and copies his hand jesture
Ezra glares at her and the mando starts laughing
" your face" She says
He rolls his eyes a smile returning to his face
" oh, like my face do you" he says
She rolled her eyes
" har har ez" She says
He smirks
" I know you love it" He says
" good by bridger" She says and shoves his head away playfully
He chuckles and watches her leave
" I need her" He wispers
Zeb rolled his eyes
" yes ezra we know" He says
Ezra flushes
" I mean come on zeb you can't blame me she's gorgeous" He says
Zeb just rolls his eyes
" Come on man! You could I don't know..give me some advise or somthing!?" He asks
Zeb smirks
" mistletoe?'he suggests
Ezras eyes light up
He snaps his fingers
" purfect!" He says and rushes around the ghost to find some
~a few hours later~
" hey sabine? You in there?" Ezra asks and nocks on her door
" one minute!" Sabine calls from the room
" yes?" She asks and opens her door
Ezra clears his throat
" I just wanted to wish you a happy life day and.. um was wondering if I could give you somthing?" He asks
Sabine smiles at him sweetly
"Of course ez" She says
Ezra let's out a deep breath and leans closer to her
Her eyes widen caught of guard
He slowly reaches across her cheek and tucks a strand of light purple hair behind her ears
With one finger he lifts her chin so she can see the mistletoe hanging from her door
Her cheeks flush, and ezra leans down to her cheek and kisses it
It's sweet and pure, just like he wanted it to be, he didn't want to push her, he never wanted to make her feel uncomfortable
He pulls away slowly and stares into her amber eyes deeply
" happy life day sabine" He says and walks away.
~ present~
" He kissed your cheek and you just stood there?!" Jacen asked
Sabine's cheeks flushed,
" well um ya.." She says
Hera smiles at her daughter figure
" well I think it was sweet, he was being a gentleman and respecting her boundaries and also just telling her how much he appreciated her" the twielk said
Jacen looks up at sabine
" would you kiss ezra now?" He asks inisently
She blushes
" well if he was Still here then..yes I would have let him kiss me" She admits
Hera gets teary eyed from the girls response
Then there is suddenly a nock on the door
" uncle zebs here!" Jacen yells excitedly
They make there way to the door and open it
They all come in bu the door remains open
" I'll get it" Sabine grumbles
She makes her way to the door to close it but peeks out side befor she closes it
And what she sees shocks her
There he is ezra bridger, standing in a orange vest and his hair long with a beard, but she could spot his eyes in the dark
Tears prick her eyes
" ezra" She wispers
He smiles and nodds
The mandalorian rushes to him flinging herself into his arm
" your hear" She managed and grips him tighter
" and I'm not leaving you" he promises
They smile at each other and pull away
But suddenly Sabine is overcome with a feeling of urgency, she grabs his collar and there lips meet
He is startled at first but kisses her back rapping a hand around her waist
Once they part they rest there foreheads together
" I owed you that" she says with a soft smile
He smiles back
