"HUHHHH???? IT'S NOT MADE OF SILVER?" Xenovia screamed out in disappointment. The group had made it to the Temple Made of Silver which is a normal temple but Xenovia read wrong into it thinking it was actually made of silver when it wasn't
"Oops, silly Xenovia. She thought it was actually made of silver" Asia giggled
"Well to be fair, based off it's name that is a fair assumption" Issei sheepishly said
Eventually the group moved on to the Temple made of gold
"OH WOW! IT'S GOLD, REAL GOLD!" Xenovia was so excited to see that it was actually made of gold and the name didn't trick her
After the group visits the temple, they decide to go sit somewhere in the shade and relax for a little bit before getting up and going off somewhere again
"AH HELP A MAN JUST GRABBED ME!" A woman yelled off in the distance. The group had seen women be groped by random men before so they looked over to see what the fuss is all about
"Yo what if it's a epidemic or whatever, it was on the news, they was saying there was like zombie perv everywhere ya know what I'm sayin?" Matsuda said as he looked over at Motohama
"If so then that means you're patient 0 since you grabbed my chestitcles on the train yesterday" Motohama responded
"Say dawg I'd have to be affected to willingly to touch yo fugly ass man titties. I'm tellin ya bro, you ain't got no jiggle" Matsuda looked embarrassed as he spoke
Suddenly Issei got a call from Akeno
-Hello?-
-Hi Issei, I'm sorry to bother you on your trip, Koneko noticed something about the picture you sent Rias.-
-Oh yeah? What was it?-
-The other people in the photo, are Fox Yokai, we wanted to let you know-
-Wait you're kidding me-
"We've got company" Xenovia said as Issei looked up to see a bunch of Fox people in robes standing around the group
-I gotta go, something came up- Issei hung up the call and quickly activated his sacred gear but Rossweisse suddenly came running over as the other students in Isseis group were passed out
"Everyone stay calm, you must come with me" Rossweisse said as one of the Fox people walked forward and bowed their head to the group
"What the fox" Issei said to himself
Timeskip to the group meeting with Azazel, Lady Leviathan, and the little fox girl
The little fox girl apologized to the group and explained she was just worried about her mom, thankfully the group was forgiving and understood her rash behavior. She thanked them and asked them to help with her mom, Yasaka's retrieval. They later explain that Yasaka was kidnapped by a faction of the Khaos Brigade named the HERO faction. The group agree to help as the little fox girl also known as Kunou announces that she will be their tour guide of Kyoto.
(Another timeskip because everything after this was just fan service and that's not what I'm here to write about)
Timeskip to the following day as everyone meets up near the train station
Kunou takes them all around Kyoto, taking pictures and visiting special landmarks, eventually throughout the tour, they run into Kiba and his group
"Oh Hey you must be Kunou, it's nice to meet you. Azazel has told me all about you, I'm Kiba" Kiba said as he smiled through his introduction to her
"I see, then in that case. It's a pleasure to meet you!" Kunou smiled
Eventually the group kept moving and ran into Rossweisse and Azazel at a restaurant near them
"Wait Azazel?" Issei said confused as he walked in with the others "Dude isn't it a little early for day drinking brah?"
Rossweisse immediately stood up from her chair "That's exactly what I said and in front of students no less! But will he listen to me? No! Because he's just another stubborn man!"
"Jeez has anyone ever told you that you're a total buzzkill" Azazel responded as he lifted his cup ready to drink it "You know what, you've gotta learn to unwind a little bit. That's why you can't find yourself a man"
"HOW DARE YOU! WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE! GIVE ME THAT CUP I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO DRINK LITTLE MAN!" Rossweisse exclaimed as she swiped the cup out of Azazels hand and downed it all. Once she was finished, she had a small tint of rose on her face and burped, clearly indicating that she was drunk already
"Wait are you drunk already after one drink?" Azazel asked half laughing
"Listttttennnnn heeerrrree aasssfaaccceee, youuu don'tttt knooowwww true dayyy drinkkingggg until you workkkk forrr Oddinnnn annddd abandonned herrr. Donn'tttt youuu undderstandddd I can't get a boyfriendddd because I have abandoment issues, you fool!" Rossweisse cried out as she buried her head in Azazels chest
"You guys get going, I'm sensing that we're heading for a downwards spiral here" Azazel said as he shook off the group to go somewhere else
"YOU CAN SENSE THAT? WOW DEEP DOWN YOU'RE NOT SUCH A STEEP HEAD ACTOR AFTER ALL" Rossweisse again shouted out all drunk and such
Eventually the group ended up moving on and walked onto the bridge to get across the river in Kyoto until suddenly everything started to go grey and the rest of the group disappeared and a purple smoke started to appear
"Who is this? And why is this fog so familiar" Issei asked looking at the fog while Kiba ran over
"Dimension Lost, the power of a Longinus, Azazel has mentioned it before" Kiba told Issei
Azazel suddenly flew down "I don't see anyone else in the area, it looks as though everyone but us has disappeared somewhere, if I had to take a wild educated guess. I'd say we've been forced into another dimensional space."
"No way." Kunou looked down as she spoke
"What's wrong Kunou?" Issei asked as he got down to her height
"When we investigated my mothers disappearance, they reported the same fog right before she went missing"
"That's bad news bears"
The group watched as several people in a straight line came walking forward through the smoke. One of them lifted their spear and shot a light beam straight at them, with Azazel using his magic to block it but considering the beam was stronger, broke straight through Azazels magic and hit him, sending him flying backwards into the mountains
"Oops my bad, guess that was rude huh? Sorry. Hello Red Dragon" Said a tall man with dark blue hair and blue eyes as he appeared out of the smoke, holding a tall spear "You can call me Cao Cao, I'm a descendant of the 3 Kingdoms, not to brag"
"Are you the monsters who kidnapped my mother? Just what do you intend to do with her?" Kunou asked
"If you must know, we're using your mother as a fun little experiment"
"No YOU CAN'T! THAT'S AWFUL!"
"But first I want to give a proper hello to Governer General Azazel and the Red Dragon Emperor. Maybe exchange some blows" Cao Cao smirked as Azazel flew back down
"That's a odd greeting but we have business with the leader of the Yokai Foxes so we're gonna need her back" Azazel responded
Cao Cao chuckled "You're more than welcome to come and try and take her, but first I want you to meet a little friend of yours"
Issei and everyone else was confused, who could they be talking about? Suddenly Y/N walked out of the smoke and smiled at everyone
"Surprise! Oh come on what's with the long faces? I thought you'd all be happy to see me!" Y/N casually smiled again, showing off that arrogance he'd once learned from his grandfather's stories
"Y/N...what the hell are you doing working with the Hero Faction?" Azazel asked starting to get pissed off
"Oh nothing, just doing some jobs for them because they've offered me some amazing things, such as new moves, new powers, mastering my power, ah who am I kidding you get it"
Issei spoke up "So you're a traitor huh? Think going rogue is gonna do any good for you? If anything you'll just end up dead!"
"Agreed, the devil government had requested to put a hit on your for your death but thankfully me, Sirzechs, and Lord Michael stopped it from happening, but now that you've pulled this little stunt, I'm not too sure if we can save you from it. You're making a bad choice Y/N" Azazel added onto Isseis statement
"Oh come on! You're acting as if I'm some sort of weak little kid who doesn't know what they're doing" Y/N stuck his tounge out in a joking manner, clearly showing he didn't care
"Y/N PLEASE! STOP! COME BACK TO US! WE'VE MISSED YOU AND J! PLEASE Y/N DON'T GO THROUGH WITH THIS! WE LOVE YOU!" Irina shouted out at Y/N
"Speaking of J, where is he? Shouldn't he be with you?" Azazel asked concerned
Suddenly Y/Ns tone changed from arrogant and joking, to a serious and dark tone "J is dead. Not that it matters anyways, I'll show you the product of my work in these past couple of weeks and show the underworld that it won't be easy to go after me"
Y/N took off his sunglasses and put them in his pocket and turned to Cao Cao and whispered "You better enjoy this because it won't be long until I go back home asshole."
"Whatever you say Y/N, don't forget you still have to finish your job with us before you go home. Don't forget you have a nation of people to rule too"
"I don't care about that bullshit. Fuck you and your little nation. Once this is over with I'm out"
"Very well then, let's see how well your training has worked and how you pit up against your old friends"
Cao Cao turned back to the Gremory Family and said "Leonardo would you be a dear and create some friends for our guests to play with"
A little boy with a hood walked forth and began to summon Anti Devil monsters and with one shooting a huge light beam, one of the weaknesses of a devil
"We'll take these guys out first" Xenovia said as she and Kiba charged forward and began slashing down on the monsters
As everyone was fighting, Issei was in a dilemma thinking about what the next move should be
"Come on, think for once...wait a minute, what would Rias do?" Issei thought to himself and came up with a plan "I got it"
"Kiba can you hear me?" Issei shouted out
"Yeah what's up?"
"Use your power to make some cool ass swords that eat light and pass them out!"
"Okay!"
"Xenovia, guard Kunou and Asia, release your holy aura and attack anyone that tries to come close!"
"I'm on it!"
"Irina, I need you to hold the frontlines with Kiba, light's not a weakness for you since you're an angel right?"
"Maybe not but that doesn't mean I can't take damage, fine whatever I'll do my best, after all I'm Lord Michaels Ace"
As Irina flew up and started shooting Holy Rings at the monsters, Issei put his light sword in his sacred gear and used it to absorb any light beams that came at him
"EAT THIS BIYATCH!" Issei using the light sword, shot back their beams at the monsters
Y/N, Azazel, and Cao Cao POV
While the group was fighting, Azazel flew over to Y/N and Cao Cao
"It's a shame you've gone down the wrong path Y/N, we really wanted to see you shine with us but you've gone too far. I'd think you'd have some sort of dignity to not attack your friends" Azazel shouted out from above to Y/N
"Yeah, it won't be like this for long Azazel, just hold on"
"Just what are you talking about Y/N?"
Cao Cao looked at Y/N "You go on ahead and go into the frontlines, I'll take care of Azazel"
Y/N quickly ran towards the front lines while Cao Cao stayed back to fight Azazel
"Alright then, I say why don't we settle this man to man" Azazel said as he put on his Sacred Gear's armor
"Of course it would be my pleasure" Cao Cao smiled
"Let's go!" Azazel said as he pulled out a long trident and dashed towards Cao Cao, clashing weapons with Cao Caos spear. Eventually taking things to the air, going back and forth clashing with each other
Y/N POV
Y/N quickly ran over to see Siegfried was in a stand off with Xenovia, Kiba, and Irina
"WAIT!" Y/N shouted out "Let me take them on, you'll get your turn" Y/N pulled a sword out of his hand, the one he had shown J before
"Very well then, I'll stay back and see how well you can do against these fools" Siegfried said as he took some steps back
"Alright then guys, it's been a while eh?" Y/N said "I don't think I'll need to use any of my Cursed Techniques for you 3. Ah who am I kidding, maybe just a little bit"
Kiba spoke up "What the hell are you doing with them Y/N? What happened with J, JUST WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HIM?"
Y/N looked at Kiba "He's dead now."
Kiba's eyes widened "You killed him didn't you?"
"Wrong, he died saving me. There's a lot of unexplainable but once you're all on the brink of death, I'll give you your answer"
"Y/N, this is wrong! Can't you see that you're fighting against your own friends? How can you do such a thing and say you'll bring us to the brink of death? WHY Y/N, JUST TELL US WHY!" Xenovia shouted
"I'm sorry, you 3 but I just can't tell you right now" Y/N looked down with a face of sadness, clearly there was something going on much deeper than what they could see. Suddenly Irina shot a Holy Ring at Y/N which was quickly absorbed by his Infinity
"You know Y/N, you're a real shallow guy. I thought we had something nice going on but as soon as you left, you just had to ruin everything didn't you?!" Irina shouted on the verge of tears. She'd come to accept that she wanted to be more than friends with Y/N but from the actions she's seen from Y/N, proved to her that it wasn't the way he saw it
"I'm sorry Irina, I really am. I promise I'll explain everything to 3 and you'll understand" Y/N sighed as he finished his sentence "But right now, it's you 3 against me so don't go easy. Otherwise you'll end up dead"
Y/N's act hurt him more than it did his friends. He didn't want to be like this but knew it was for the better if he wanted to protect his friends
Suddenly Azazel shouted out to Cao Cao who was talking to Issei about his powers
"CAO CAO, WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE HERO FACTION WANT"
"Not exactly that I'd expect a Fallen Angel to understand but our mission is simple, we merely want to test our limits and see how far we can go as humans"
"But why?"
"All of you, the 3 factions, Dragons, Sacred Gear users, they all have incredible power but it's always humans who end up defeating them, that's why I've taken it upon myself to see how far I can go and fight, a human among Gods, surely you can understand"
Issei looked at Cao Cao "Maybe if I spoke asshole"
Suddenly, a huge giant ancient monster came up out of the river and a young lady on a broom came flying down to them
"This is a message from Lord Vali since I'm on Lord Valis team, he said "I told you not to get in my way and take him. We agreed he'd work under us not you. Kill one more of his friends and you'll see what's going to happen to the HERO Faction", that's all!"
Cao Cao used his spear to take down the huge monster as it fell into the river "Well that was a mildly annoying distraction"
"Do you guys mind, who's making all that friggin noise out here. I'm trying to take a nap! SCREW YOU!!" A drunk Rossweisse yelled out, stumbling out of the smoke and showed off her Valkyrie powers and began to shoot a bunch of light beams down at the bridge
"There's too many variables in this fight though I must admit, it's the perfect start to our festival. Governer General Azazel, tonight we'll have all that Kyoto has to offer at Nijo Castle, who knows you may even find your coveted 9 Tailed Fox leader there. Either way you're welcome to join in the festivities" Cao Cao looked to one of his servants who's pulling back the fog to return to the real world
"The hell do you mean?!" Azazel shouted out
"Come and find out. Y/N let's get out of here. You'll see your friends tonight and get a real fight out of them"
Y/N smirked and took this chance to get away from them "Actually I was thinkin I'll get a real fight out of you tonight asshole. I'm going back home whether you like it or not. Keep feeding me bullshit about killing my friends and I'll fucking murder you"
Cao Cao laughed "You're making a big mistake Y/N, you're all going to die tonight because of Y/N's poor choices. Ta Ta"
Suddenly the fog started to really clear up and everyone was starting to arrive back into the real world
"Watch it! The Space Rate is disappearing! Everyone put away your weapons!" Azazel shouted out
Eventually everyone was back with the group in the real world, only with one thing being different. Y/N was now there.
"YO WHAT THE BUTTS? Y/N SINCE WHEN DID YOU GET HERE DAWG" Matsuda shouted out
"I've been here. You just haven't noticed because I have no reason to talk to you."
"YO WHATTTT, NAH I MUST BE TRIPPIN HELLA YO!" Matsuda once again shouted out
"Ahhh gaslighting, works really well on complete idiots" Y/N thought to himself
"Yeah, Y/N's been here, let's get a move on to the rest of Kyoto what do you guys say?" Issei shot a glare at Y/N
Everyone agreed and continued on with the rest of the tour
Timeskip to everyone discussing their plan for the attack of Nijo Castle
"Do you all understand? The chi which is energy has been redirected to Nijo Castle which means they're planning something big" Azazel announced
"So what do you think is gonna happen?" Saji asked
"It's hard to tell but something very bad is going to happen. Here's the plan, the Sitri family will be on standby to guard Kyoto. The Gremory Family and Irina and Y/N will be our offense. Considering Y/N is strongest of you all from what he displayed before, he'll lead you all into battle unless something is to happen to him. Besides that You'll head to Njio Castle" Azazel announced "Three more things, Saji I want you to go with the Gremory Family, your dragon king form will help Issei which means Issei you're responsible if he loses control. 2nd, I've requested someone to come help. I won't tell you who but you'll know when they get there. 3rd, I've only got 2 phoniex tears for you all so use them wisely, each family gets 1." Azazel said
Everyone nodded and stood up
"And one last thing, I won't be able to go with you to fight so you all better not die on me and come back, this trip isn't over until you're all back home" Azazel looked at everyone as he spoke "Y/N and the Gremory Family stay back before you go out there tonight, I want to have a quick conversation"
The Sitri Family nodded and left the room as the rest stayed back
"So Y/N care to explain?" Azazel crossed his arms and looked at Y/N
"It's a long story, it started with me staying afterschool and Cao Cao attacking me there. They took me down in 1 move because I wasn't paying attention or keeping my guard up. Eventually J came over and tried to save me but ended up getting killed. Cao Cao threatened to kill you all and me if I didn't join him so I didn't want to die because I still have a dream to achieve which is peace so I joined him. After a couple of weeks, I trained under them and it was brutal but I got a lot stronger. I had to put on a act as if I betrayed you guys to really convince Cao Cao I wasn't going to do anything stupid but once I saw the chance of reuniting with you guys, I took it. I didn't mean to hurt any of you at all. I'm sorry guys" Y/N looked down and began to tear up
"Hey Y/N, it's cool man. You were just looking out for us and we appreciate that. It's good you explained it all" Issei put a hand on Y/N's shoulder
"Yeah Y/N, thanks for thinking of us but next time, reach out to us. We've always got your back" Kiba rustled Y/N hair as he smiled at him
Y/N looked up to Xenovia and Asia who smiled and nodded and then looking at Irina who was looking down at the ground
"Irina? Are you alright?" Issei asked as he turned to look at Irina
Irina suddenly jumped on top of Y/N and hugged him, crying into his shoulder
"YOU IDIOT! YOU BIG DUMB IDIOT! I THOUGHT I LOST YOU FOR GOOD! NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT AGAIN!" Irina gripped onto Y/Ns shirt
"Don't worry Irina, I won't leave you guys again, I promise" Y/N smiled as he caressed Irinas hair
Irina looked up at Y/N and asked "Promise?"
"I promise Irina" Y/N smiled as he looked into her eyes
"Alright then, now that has been cleared up I want you all to get to your positions and be on alert. Something tells me this isn't going to be an easy fight" Azazel said as he got up "Y/N stay back, the rest of you go on ahead"
As the group left Y/N looked at Azazel confused
"Y/N, you're aware that one of the government leaders isn't a fan of you and is actually trying to get a case in which all 3 factions hunt you down and you're to be killed correct?" Azazel asked
"I think so, why what's wrong?" Y/N asked with a concerned look
Lady Leviathan spoke up "Y/N...now that they have proof of you working with the HERO faction, they'll have a even better chance of getting that case approved. If you show that you're a threat to us then they'll want you dead considering you're not part of any faction. The only way I can see us clearing your name is if you're able to take down the HERO faction and prove you're still with us"
"I am, don't worry you two. I'll kick their ass. Thanks for defending my name. Hopefully it'll keep getting denied"
"I'm glad Y/N, now go and help your friends take down these assholes" Azazel smiled
