Dippers POV
"So your telling me that you followed your definitely destined squirrel into this path and it was going to show you your true destiny?..." I said to Mabel after I rescued her from the mysterious path
"Yeah I read online somewhere that squirrels can actually tell you the future" Mabel said back to me
I disagreed
Whilst we were walking home the sky turned from a medium purple to a dark shadow black i checked the time and it showed 8pm
Odd that it was so dark but apparently rain was meant to come any minute now
"Hey i think we're nearly at home before the rain comes" Mabel said to me
*Suddenly rain starts pouring down*
"Better make a run for it!" I say
Then Me and Mabel start dashing for our lives to our house
"Dipper wait!" Mabel said from afar
"Mabel we're nearly at the house come on do you really wanna be drenched from the rain!?" I yell out to her
I saw Mabel start suddenly stop and look the other way then proceeded to walk to our neighbours house
"Mabel what are you doing!" I say whilst starting to slow down
I decided to walk to where Mabel went off to and saw her and another girl by the house
"Hey Dipper" the girl said
I had to take a few more steps before I saw who it was
"Dipper you don't Pacifica could stay at our place for the night?" Mabel said
"Uhh" I said
"Hey its OK my parents might let me in soon" Pacifica said
"But it's only 8pm why can't you go inside?" I asked Pacifica
"My parents have a strict deadline I have to be back by and thats why I started running home at 7:30...I had to be around 15 minutes ago"
Pacifica said
I saw her hair get even more soaked with every raindrop that fell and her clothes darken from the wetness of the rain
"Please Dipper just for one night?" Mabel begged to me
Pacifica then looked at me with eyes that were either full of tears of just overly wet
"Fine but have you tried knocking on the door?" I asked Pacifica
"Along with the calling and messaging yeah I think they made their mind up Dipper...sorry I didn't mean it that way" She said
*A FEW MINTUES LATER*
Pacifica's POV
we finally made it to Dipper and Mabels house and their parents didn't mind me staying over
"Would you like a drink Pacifica don't worry I can make it warm since you look cold enough" Their Mom said
I politely took down the offer and proceeded to follow Mabel to her and Dippers room
"Hey you can sleep on my bed tonight!" Mabel said
"Thanks, but hopefully my parents will pick me up soon I mean i did send them a message" I said back
Then Dipper walked into the room
"Hey" He said
I have him an awkward smile then stood their with my phone glued to my face as I waited for my parents to respond
they're never gonna respond
"Hey Dipper could you do me a favour teal quick" Mabel said frantically
before Dipper could turn to Mabel
Mabel shut the door on us

Dippers POV
soo me and Pacifica were in a room together
Great.
"umm I can leave if you want" Pacifica said
"No don't worry and anyways it'd still pouring out there and it's dark" I said back
"I meant the room..." she said
"oh um no don't worry umm have your parents answered back yet" I asked her
"no not yet I might have to stay the night..if that's OK...with you?" Pacifica said whilst she put her phone in her pocket
"uuh yeh that's probably a great idea" I said back
I honestly had no idea what to say to her
she was just standing in Mabels' side of the room all drenched from the rain
Then suddenly Mabel came back into the room
Mabels POV
I left them in the room together for them to hopefully tell each other their feelings to each other but when I entered it looked like nothing happened
"Hey I bought snacks for all of us!" I said
I had popcorn in my left hand and chips in my right
"Why don't we all play truth or dare or don't!" I asked both of them
"Umm I might go downstairs whilst you to play" Dipper said
"Oh bummer" I said sarcastically as he walked down the stairs
"I'm gonna guess you wanna play then Pacifica" I asked her
"Uhh sure" She replied
"Awesome!" I yelled
We sat in the middle of the room and threw a coin to see who goes first
"Heads or tails?" I asked
"Tails?" Pacifica said
I rolled the dice
it landed on tails
"Ok I guess I have to ask you... truth, dare or don't?" I asked her eagerly
"truth?.." she said
"hmm...do you have a crush on dip-"
*POWER TURNS OFF*
I got to say half of my question before every room in the house was dark
then my mom came up with a flashlight five minutes later and said
"Hey so we've had a power cut just stay where you are!"
I was thinking what to do in the meantime
"Hey Pacifica do you have any spare clothes sleeping in wet clothes might be uncomfortable?" I asked Pacifica
"no do you have any spare you wouldn't mind lending me?" she asked back
"Do I? Of course I do let me just go fund the door...hold my hand and I'll find some pj's for you" I said
"isn't it dangerous to walk in the dark" Pacifica said as we were halfway out the room near the steps
"It'll be fine as long as you don't let go of my hand" i said
Pacifica's POV
we made it out of Mabel and Dipper's room since the flooring felt different and were near the steps cause I heard Mabel say "I feel the floor going lower"
honestly I think ill be fine as long as I don't let go of her hand-
"AAAHHH" I screamed
I tripped on a wire and let go of Mabel's hand
"Mabel...Mabel?" I said
I think she was already downstairs
I had no light to see where I was
my assumption was on top of the stairs but how would I know
but the I heard a voice near me
"oh sorry didn't realise you were here" the voice said
I saw my shadow infant of me which meant the person behind me had a flashlight
it wasn't like Mabel and Dipper's Mom flashlight it was more of a blue tinted one
I turned around to see...
