As the dance ends, everyone applauds him as the girl hugs him
Telling him "that was such a great dance" as he agrees.
Nick calls Alex as they hug each other and greet each other while neveah walks approaches me.
"Hey Olivia, you good?... You look angry?" she asks
"I'm good" I say reassuringly
"Right, anyways ain't that yo man right there? I saw y'all comin here together-"
"No!, I mean... Ahem... We are NOT together" I say
"Sure" she says sarcastically
"Alright well, most guests are already leaving, I mean it's quite late. So um... I'll be going" I say as I attend to call Alex but she stops me.
"Wait take my number, and if you see Grace please give her my number and tell her my old phone broke" she says
"Yeah will do" I say and walk towards Alex
"Hey Lucas, Alex I'd like to go home now" I say to Alex, but he's ignoring me pretending to be busy
"Sorry you were saying?" He asks sarcastically
"I said I'd like to go home" i say
"Alright then... Home it is" he says without any hesitation and we leave saying goodbye to our friends.
As we leave the place. We see our limo waiting outside as the driver opens the door and I thank him.
When we take our seat.
There's a silence as the limo starts driving.
I decide to break the silence and tell him
"You know what happend in the storage room, meant nothing-"
"In that storage room you claimed that you wanted me... Correct?"
"I-" I stutter
"Perhaps it did mean something to you"
"It really didn't-" I say as he interrupts
"Don't play with me Olivia, it won't work. You said you wanted me but I'm gonna say it again, I can't have you but sometimes you just name me wanna-"
there's a silence
"What" she says looking in his eyes
"This" he whispers in her ears
Gently grabs her neck and kisses her.
But before they could continue
They have arrived.
The driver steps out the car and opens the door for them.
They leave the limousine and walk to the dorm
As Alex grabs her waist and pulls him close to her as they walk to the dorm.
As they enter the dorm, Alex's desire for Olivia takes over. He presses her against the wall, savoring her intoxicating scent and admiring her beauty. With a mix of strength and tenderness, he caresses her neck, sending shivers down her spine. Their lips meet in a passionate kiss, filled with the sweetness of their connection. Alex's touch, warm and full of desire, slowly glides up her thighs, igniting a fire with in them.
But before he could finish 𝑠he stops him
"Wait no, no I'm sorry I can't do this" she says frustrated.
"I-" he says as𝑠ℎ𝑒 Intterupped
"I can't do this..." she says and leaves
Leaving Alex too stunned to speak.
This isn't right.... Alex is my enemy we can't be doing this... I Hate him... I'm supposed to hate him...what the heck.
Alright... I'm not going to let anything get any different.. We are enemies and we should act like it
Before those thoughts take over my head I go to the bathroom and take a bath.
The next day, I leave by bus to go to school.
I follow the teaching, and the day goes by normally.
After a while I need go to the bathroom.
So I go.
When I finish and wash my hands and face when I look up I see Neveah standing behind me and "AHH!" I scream
"Woah... Are you okay?I'm so sorry" she laughs
"Yeah I'm fine" I exhale in relief
"Anyway girl, last night was Crazy" she says
"Right" I say
"What's wrong?" She asks
"Nothing" I say
"Girl, stop playin with me. Was it Alex"
"No it's just...im tired"
There's a silence
I clear throat
"Alright"
"Okay but what about you? What happen𝑑 last night"
"Nothing actually, I just went to grab some food with Lucas
"right, what's the deal with you two anyways? You guys dating? "
"Not exactly but-"
"Not exactly!?" Grace says barging out of one of the toilets.
Turns out she's been listening to this conversation this whole time
"GRACE?" We both say in sync
"Whatever, did you finish your proje-" and before Grace could finish her sentence another girl walks out of one of the toilets.
We awkwardly wait for her to wash her hands. And she purposely takes out a makeup bag fixing her lashes, smiles and leave the bathroom.
I swallow.
We awkwardly stare at each other.
"As I was saying, did you finish your project?"
"Um.. Not yet we still have 2days, I only have one last page to write"
"Alright, well we should go back to class"
"Yeah.. We should" I say as we head back
As I'm walking i bump into a guy
"Hey I'm sorry" I say as I drop his notes
"It's fine he" says staring in my eyes as I help him
"Um... What's your name?" He asks
"Uh... Olivia, Olivia Johnson" I say giving him a handshake
"I'm chase"
"Well, what are you um.. studying?" I ask
"Oh um, Law" he says
"Wow you must be really smart huh"
"Ahaha I wouldn't say extremely, but kind of?" he chuckles
"Well um... I should head to class"
"Wait" he says
"Yes?"
"we should... Um... Go out some times grab some lunch?"
"Oh I ca-" before I finish I think for a second.
I'm not dating anyone, I am completely available...the heck. So
"Yeah actually, I would LOVE to go out with you some time"
"Alright then, can I have your number" he asks as I give him.
"Okay. it was nice meeting you Olivia"
"You too"
After I finished all classes I start walking my way outside.
My phone buzzes.
It's an unknown number.
This time I pick it up thinking it was Nicolas but...no... It's Carter
"Miss me hot stuff?"
As he says those words, I look around to see if I notice Carter anywhere
"What do you want Carter?" I ask
"I want you- you back" he says in his drunk voice
"you're drunk... Like always. look Carter I've moved on, from you and everything, I have someone now and you need to stay the heck away from me" I say angrily
"Woah, woah now, what did you say? You got somebody?.. Hahaaha- i'm coming for you sweet-"
Before he could finish his sentence I hang up.
But my phone buzzes again and I pick it up.
"Look douchebag, if you call my phone again, I'm gonna call the police, so why don't you leave me the heck alone before I stick a broom up your drunk ass-" before I could finish my sentence I hear a soft deep voice on the phone
"Olivia?"
It's Alex.
OH CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP
"OH Alex" I say trying to make him forget about what I just said
"Are you okay? Where are you?"
"I'm...in front of the school" I say squeezing my face.
In just a few minutes Alex arrives.
"Hey-" I say but before I could finish greeting him he asks
"Who called you?"
"Oh, it's jus-"
"Don't lie" he says
I hesitate.
"Um... My ex" I say looking trying to avoid eye contact.
"Is he bothering you?" He asks as I don't answer.
"No, it's nothing"
"If he's bothering you just-"
"Why does it matter to you?" I say crossing my arms walking away as he follows me
"Olivia, is this about last night?, I already told you I'm sorry"
"Look, I don't want to talk to you okay? I don't want to be friends or whatever. Listen, meeting you again was a mistake.
So let's just pretend we don't know each other"
"You don't mean that Olivia"
"I'm sorry but that's how I feel" I walk away a but he grabs my waist pulling me closer to him
"What are you-"
"I know how you feel" he says
"I'm sorry" I say taking his hands off my waist and walk away
I felt a bit of sadness knowing that we will be going back to being strangers.
That day past and so did the other.
We presentated our project and the week went on without saying a word to each other.
I never thought my first 2weeks here in college would be so crazy.
I mean can it get any crazier?
