Navya and Cabir are worried for ChandraShekar. "I don't know how papa will react if he comes to know about you" she said. Cabir thought about Navya and her confession to Nandini. He came back to senses when his phone rang and flashed ChandraShekar's name on screen. They both looked at each other. "Phone uthao" she signalled him. "Hello" Cabir's voice trembled. "Shekawat, can you come tonight! I have something important to talk to you" he said and Cabir agreed and cut the call.
pKya hua hoga?" Cabir asked and Navya said, "ab ghar jaane ke baad ki pata chalega" Navya said. "Chalo tumhe drop karke, ready ho ke aaunga" Cabir said and dropped her home. Navya tried to find out what's the matter. ChandraShekar informed her that Shekawat is coming for dinner. Door bell and Navya opened the door. ChandraShekar welcomed him like he was a new guest. Tension was visible between Navya and Cabir. "Set the dinner table Navya, we'll be there in a minute" he said and Navya went in. They all ate in silence and occasionally he talked about the entrance exam. "Exam se pehle kuch refreshment hona chahiye so I called you here" he said finally and they were relaxed. "All these dishes were made by Navya, kaise laga?" he asked Shekawat. "Navya ji ka haath ka khaana tho bahut ache hotel hai, itne baar jo khaya" he admitted.
"Exam ke baad tumhare plan kya hai?" he asked. Hearing about the entrance exam made Cabir dull. "Kuch nahi hai sir" he replied. "Shaadi nahi karoge" he asked all of a sudden. "Shaadi ke baare mein kabhi socha nahi sir" he said. "Ab soch lena ek ladki hai tumhare liye" he said nervously. Shekawat is confused and looked at Navya. "Navya" he said. "Ha papa" she said thinking that he called her. "Shekawat, kya tum Navya se shaadi karoge?" he said it finally and they both were in for the biggest shock of their lives. "Tum Navya ko jaante ho, usse samajthe ho and usse admire karte ho, tumse behtar kisko leke aaunga" he said to Shekawat who still seemed to be in shock. "Exam se pehle batakar maine galti kar diya you can tell your decision after your exam" he said and Shekawat excused himself. "Navya, tum mere decision se sehmat ho na?" he asked. "Shekawat ek acha ladka hai, bale hi wo compounder hai but he is hardworking and he will prove himself. Dekhte rehna he will get through this medical entrance Phir you can guide him till he becomes a doctor" he said happily and Navya hugged him. Poor Navya didn't know to be happy for her dad approved her love or sad as he doesn't know that is Cabir.

Manik packed his bags and rushed to airport as he had less time to reach his flight. He entered inside the airport and took the boarding pass. He got himself a drink and sat until the next announcement. He looked at the ticket. "It's over Nandini, break maangi thi na! Let's take a break. I feel useless ki main doosre baar bhi pyaar karne mein fail hogaya" Manik recalled his last words to Nandini. He didn't even turn back after he told it. "Sorry mom, I was so selfish that I left you and ran away like a coward from my problems" he reminisced his bonding with Nyonika teary-eyed. "Lekin ab nahi, tumse kabhi dhoor nahi jaunga mom, I promise kabhi nahi. And Nandini se main dhoor rahunga, she must've been busy in her life aur yaha main apne daily life se dhoor bhaag gaya, lekin aur nahi" he said and boarded the flight as he heard the last call to board his flight.
He adjusted his luggage and got settled down in his seat. "Is this yours?" flight attendant asked Manik showing a bracelet. "Ha" he took it. "It fell down there" she left. He looked at it. "MaNan?" Nandini asked him. "MA for Manik and Nan for Nandini" he said. He looked at the bracelet and carefully put it into his pocket and closed his eyes in an attempt to sleep.
"Delhi se aane ke baad tumhare liye ek surprise hai?"
"Tumhare alawa mujhe koi aur itna effect nahi kar sakta hai Manik"
"I can't tell anyone about us because I don't want anyone to think that Nandini, Manik aur Alya ke beech mein aa gayi"
Manik couldn't sleep as flashes of her memories haunted him. "Love or hate but Nandini hum ek doosre ko kabhi bhool nahi paayenge" he thought. After a long flight of 15 hours he landed in Mumbai. He took a cab to the hospital. He called Shrikant on his way. He went to inform Nyonika. "Nyonika, Manik aa gaya hai, he is coming here in an hour" he informed curiously. "Kaun bulaya usse, uski zarurat kisiko bhi nahi hai yaha" she said harshly. "Nyonika please usse baat karo" he asked. "Please Shrikant mujhe force mat karo" she denied. Navya came inside. "Good morning aunty" she wished. "Hi Navya" Shrikant wished.
"Aaj Manik wapas aa raha hai" he said and she looked at Nyonika. "Thank God he is coming back here warna internship mein uske guidance ke bina incomplete ho jaata" Navya said cautiously. Manik reached hospital and Abhimanyu came to receive him. "Manik" he hugged him and he hugged back. "Pata hai ki main tumhe kitna miss kiya!" Abhi said. "When your wife is by your side you should never think of someone else, even if it's a friend and that's a rule!" Manik said. Abhimanyu's face changed as Manik took Mukti's name. It didn't went unnoticed by Manik but he ignored it. He ran to see his mom. "Mom" he called her. Nyonika looked at him involuntarily and she froze on seeing him. "Manik" she said and broke into tears. Abhimanyu came there. Manik hugged her. Her blood pressure suddenly rose and Abhimanyu took charge. "Manik, move a bit aside" Shrikant pulled him back. Navya and Abhimanyu treated her and Shrikant took him out. "Kya hua mom ko aur mujhe itne din bataya kyu nahi?" he asked his father.
"Nyonika denied even talking to you and I don't want to hurt you too" he said. "Acha hua ki Abhimanyu ne mujhe bataya" Manik said. "She is stable now" Abhimanyu came out and said. "Kya hua maa ko?" he asked. "Arrythmia, irregular heartbeat and uski wajhe se constant fluctuations in blood pressure, to be frank her blood pressure is never normal since a month. She is admitted here for more than a month now" he said. Manik understood that neither physically nor mentally she should take stress.
Abhimanyu went away and Shrikant talked to him. "Stress causing factors se wo khud dhoor rehti hai, and not wanting to see you is also a part of it wo Nandini se bhi baat nahi kar rahi hai. Nandini tried a couple of times to meet her but Nyonika didn't allow her. Uski health ki wajhe se maine uske baat maan liya, and that's why I didn't tell you about her. I can't see you sad beta" he said and hugged Manik. "Sorry dad! Ye sab mere wajhe se ho raha hai, I'm so sorry" he said.

"Nandu, tiffin karke chale jaana" chachi said from kitchen. Nandini is engrossed in her thoughts. "Kya Manik aaya hoga? How will aunty react seeing Manik?" she thought to herself as she got ready to leave for hospital. "Itni der kyu kar diya aaj?" chachi asked. "Are you going late today to hospital?" she asked. "Nahi chachi, aaj hospital jaane ka Mann nahi hai, thinking whether to take an off" she said. "Kyu?" chachi wondered. "Kuch nahi pichle kuch din se main off liya hi nahi tho socha aaj le lungi" she said. "Sorry Nandini main aaj kitty party mein jaa rahi hu, kal ruk jaa beta aaj chale jao" she said. "No chachi, it's fine you can go and I will stay back" she said. "Agar tu hai tho tere chacha mujhe jaane nahi dega" she expressed. "Lagta hai aaj mujhe jaana hi padega" Nandini though and had her breakfast before leaving.
Manik got freshened up and reported to Dr. Raman Shrivastav. "Good morning Manik, feels good that you are back on duty" Raman appreciated him. "Thank you for making me and our hospital proud Manik, your timing and your presence of mind is something I should praise" he said. "It was all my duty sir" Manik obliged. "I thought you might be taking break today but you've rejoined so quick" he added. "Yes sir, I hope you know about my mom so I had to be here to take care of her" he said. "I know and I'm sorry for her condition. Abhimanyu is trying his best and hope for good. Any help you can always contact me" Raman assured. Abhimanyu came there. "How's Mukti?" Manik asked them. "Yeah she's good, tomorrow is her last day in this hospital" Raman said. Manik took leave from him. Abhimanyu followed him. "Manik, would you like to join me for breakfast?" Abhimanyu asked. "Didn't you had breakfast at home?" Manik asked and he stood silent. "Make a habit to eat at home Abhi, now you're married man" Manik said. "Acha shaadi ke baare mein itne gyaan de rahe ho? Kahi shaadi tho nahi hua New York mein?" Manik looked at him as he said but Abhimanyu's phone rang as they reached cafeteria.
"You continue Manik, I'll join mujhe Raman uncle ka call aaya" he said and left from there. "Nandini please maan jao" Manik heard someone saying it. He became alert as he heard her name. "Dhruv, this is the third time in this month, it's a big No" Manik heard her voice and turned back to see Nandini talking to someone. "Please Nandini iss month mein ye last time hai, it's my concert night and I want my darling to be there" Dhruv said. "Tumhara concert night hai tho tum jao don't bother me OK" she said firmly but Dhruv was adamant on making her listen to him.
"Who is it? Is he Nandini's fiance? No dad said chacha didn't look for any alliance so who would it might be? Her boyfriend? Nahi itni jaldi mujhe bulakar koi aur ke saath kaise! Agar nahi hai tho wo ladka, why is he asking her out and she is denying" he thought to himself. "Deny hi tho kar rahi hai, why are you overthinking Manik" he said having a coffee.
"Fine, Dhruv I'm warning you this is the last time so I said OK and do not ask me again" she said. "So you've finally agreed?" Dhruv asked to confirm. "Yes" Nandini said with a big smile. "Wow that's great Nandu thank you so much" he said and took Nandini's hand. "Wait, not now and I don't time for you now. Concert evening hai tho shaam ko aa jao" she said. "Workaholic doctor" he said to Nandini and left. Manik had witnessed all this. "Oh so she is really in relationship with this guy, so she had really moved on so easily!" he felt hurt. "Mujhe koi fark nahi padta hai, after all even she has rights to live life her way" he thought and left from there. Nandini didn't see Manik all the while.

Abhimanyu went to meet Raman as he called. He saw Raman and Mukti there. "Thanks for calling him dad, tomorrow is my last day here and I want to share something with both of you" she said and they looked at each other. "What is it?" Abhimanyu asked. She handed over papers to Abhimanyu and is shocked to see then. "Abhimanyu, what was that?" Raman asked curiously. "Divorce papers uncle" he said lifelessly. "Aap hi ne kaha na dad, that we should take divorce!" Mukti said and Abhimanyu looked at him. "You should have talked to us before taking such decision Mukti" he said. "Please don't try to fool me dad, I know aap Abhimanyu ko support kar rahe ho" Mukti shouted and Abhimanyu stood to calm her down. "Dad" Mukti shouted as she saw Raman collapsed onto the ground.
"Shit Mukti, it's cardiac arrest" Abhimanyu said.
