REIVEN'S POV**
"Try again, but a little more softer."
"Nope! Wrong turn... Ahh! No! turn right."
"Remember to do this, not that."
"Not bad. Do it again."
It's currently 3 in the morning, and currently, Via and I are on a break.
Wala pa kami sa kalahati ng choreo na nakaready para sakanya.
It's already so late na halos kami nalang talaga andito sa studio.
Kanina pa sya nagrereklamo na pagod na pagod na sya, luckily wala syang pasok ngayon kaya wala syang excuse today to escape our practice.
Usually kasi, she takes advantage of her being a student to get away with her routines pag tinatamad na sya.
Well, not this time.
"Ahh! Gusto ko na umuwi!" Reklamo ni Via bago sumalampak sa sahig at nagtakip ng towel sa mukha.
"You're almost done, wanna continue nalang tomorrow?" I asked as I crouched down near her and pulling the towel off of her face, revealing namumula nyang mukha dahil sa pagod.
Inirapan lang ako nito bago bumalikwas at umupo.
"Tapusin na ngayon, ipapabukas mo pa eh," she whispered before finally standing up.
Napailing nalang ako while looking at her, parang batang nagdadabog.
Naagaw naman atensyon ko nang mapansin na nagring phone ko na nakapatong sa table sa gilid.
Dinedma ko nalang, I wanna get this over with already, I need a long shower once I get back to my condo unit.
Malabo namang si West pa tatawag. Nasabi ko na rin naman na di ako uuwi.
Plus, I see no reason bakit sya tatawag lalo't galit sya.
Kahit naman makikipagbati yun di nya idadaan sa call, ika nga no West, it's better to apologise in person.
Matapos ang mahaba haba pang bardagulan with Via, finally, natapos na kami.
It's a quarter after 4 and currently nagliligpit nalang ako rito sa studio.
I took a quick peek at Via, who's quietly waiting beside me sa isang gilid.
Sabi ko umuna na sya but she insisted on staying para sabay na kami umuwi since iisa lang dadaanan namin.
I can't help but admire at her soft and innocent looking face. Kung di mo talaga kilala tong babaeng to, you won't be really able to doubt her looks.
She has that face that people call "angelic"
Yung akala mo mabait pero sa kaluoblooban, kampon ng dilim.
But not gonna lie, she's pretty fun to talk with pag nakasundo, we really just set the wrong foot on our first meet.
Di ko na namalayan na masyado na pala napapatagal pagtitig ko kay Via to the point na pati sya nakatingin na sakin.
I cleared my throat before putting my cap on.
"T-tara?" aya ko nang makalapit ako sakanya.
She just gave me a sweet smile and a little nod.
There's something about that smile she wears, it gives me feelings I can't understand.
"How's Kia?"
"She's doing great with her parents," Via causally replied as we walk down the alley.
Halos wala pang tao and iilan ilan palang ang mga dumadaan na sasakyan dahil maaga pa, so the walk was pretty dim than the usual night stroll I take before going home.
The night is quiet, we have the alley all to ourselves pero parehas kami hesitant mag open up ng conversation.
Dala na rin siguro ng pagod.
Kinapa ko bulsa ko to go grab my phone and finally check the messages na di ko binabasa mula kanina.
Most of them are from my friends, likes sa posts ko, reminder na di pa ako nagbabayad ng bills and etc.
But what really caught my attention was a certain message at the very bottom of my notifications.
I was so taken back na napatigil ako in the middle of walking.
Nabalik nalang ako sa wisyo nang tawagin ako ni Via.
I cleared my throat before sliding my phone back inside my pocket and catch up to her na nauna na maglakad.
Tahimik na ulit kami while naglalakad, I was thinking na ihahatid ko lang sya pauwi sa unit nya then babalik na rin ako sa condo ko, probably go grab coffee bago umuwi, but suddenly there's a change of plans.
She's always been like this, bat pa ba ako nagtaka.
I mean, she's West. She's never been consistent of whst she says. Hirap din syang sabihin diretsahan gusto nya making it difficult for me to understand her everytime may misunderstanding kami, itulad mo yung kanina.
Yes, pangit magalit si West kasi walang preno bibig, but knowing her she's a reasonable person naman. Ang problema nga lang dyan, ako pa mismo huhula ano yung rason kasi ayaw nya sabihin.
Been like that for years, nasanay na rin ako. Yung tipong mas matanda sya pero parang ako nagaalaga sakanya.
Well, I mean not now since may boyfriend na sya.
I was in the midst of my thoughts nang maramdaman marahan na pagpatak ng ulan.
I lent out a palm to make sure if it is actually raining and I was right.
I was about to put on my cap nang mapansin si Via na nakatakip ng ulo gamit bag nya.
I walked closer to her at isinuot sakanya ang cap then gave her a slight pat.
"Next time magdala ka ng payong." I said.
Napatingin naman ito sakin then flashed a smile na agad din napalitan ng kunot ng noo.
"Hala! Edi anong gagamitin mo? Sayo na to, andyan na unit ko oh!" she exclaimed pointing out the building na tanaw na sa di kalayuan.
"Don't mind me, the cold never bothered me anyways."
"Alagad ka pala ni Elsa," she said laughing.
"I'm actually more of an Anna fan."
When we felt na mukhang lalakas pa ulan, napatakbo na kami.
Thankfully, di pa bumubuhos masyado and nahatid ko na sya sa building nya.
We're currently in the lobby, pinupunasan ko saglit buhok ko and mukha ko na nabasa.
"Do you wanna come up to my room muna? Bihis ka, di maganda maulanan," Via suggested as she looks at me.
Umiling nalang ako.
I can't really stay longer out here, need ko na rin umuwi.
I handed back her towel na pinahiram nya.
"Thankyou, but I have to go na, ingat."
After that, tumakbo na rin ako palabas.
Babalik nalang ako sa studio since andun kotse ko.
Dun ko kasi iniiwan since uso nakawan ng windshield sa parking lot ng condo unit ko.
Once na ako nawalan ng windshield dun, I only left for a couple of hours. I rather take the hassle na maglalakad pa papuntang studio kesa madamagean nanaman sa kotse. Baka next time pinto na nakawin sakin.
Thankfully I have some spare clothes na tinatabi ko sa kotse.
I changed into a loose white polo nalang before finally driving home.
Nang nasa garahe na ako, I felt my chest tighten.
If you ask kung kinakabahan ako, yes.
Kahit sino kakabahan.
I was about to knock pa nung mag vibrate ulit phone ko.
Another message from the dragon.
West: Bukas yan. Faster gosh.
She actually waited for me damn.
Sa totoo lang, if di mo kilala si West, mahihirapan ka talaga intindihan antics nya.
One moment she'd be pushing me away saying wag ako uuwi. Later bigla mag memessage saying I need to come home.
Well, basically hindi talaga yan ang sinabi nya. It was more of a command.
Expected na sakanya. Swerte mo kung mag request yan nang mahinahon.
Her friend teases her all the time. Araw araw raw masungit, kala mo laging meron.
Nilunok ko nalang kaba ko before finally coming in.
The lights were off, since maaga pa and dala rin ng ulan, it was really dark, the only light was coming from the lamppost outside our home.
Just when I was about to lock the door, I felt a hand forcefully grasp my shoulder pushing me into the wall.
I was way too shocked to react nang i-pin ako sa may pader.
Her intent gazes burned through me, I could see her eyes glimmer with what I suppose is anger, but there's also a hint of...sadness?
"H-hey...." I said.
"You're in a big trouble," she whispered.
I let out a soft chuckle, puzzled with what she means.
"Ano ginawa ko sayo?" I asked in a low voice.
Lalo ako kinakabahan everytime I feel her breathing on my skin.
She then grabbed my chin and lifted my head up so I could meet her eyes.
"Aware ka naman na ayaw kong may umaalialigid sayo diba?"
"But she's my trainee.."
"I don't care, I don't like it."
"What do you mea-"
"Tangina oo na! Nagseselos ako, masaya ka na nyan?!" bulyaw ni West making me close my eyes.
Damn.
Ang angas angas ko pero tumitiklop talaga pag sakanya.
"Why would you be jealous?"
"I don't like it when other people gets you attention. Bihira mo na nga ako uwian dito, may iba pang nakadikit sayo," she said. I could feel her grit her teeth.
I let out a sigh and carefully removed her hand from my chin.
"You can't be that much possesive of me... I'm just your bestfriend-"
But before I could finish what I was gonna say, she cut me off with a deep harsh kiss completely making me shut the hell up.
Humigit naman kapit ni West sa braso ko making me swallow a couple of times.
Here we go again.
"A-are you drunk?" I asked.
"I don't give a damn with what you say, I don't like it when some other bitches are around you. You're mine." giit ni West before giving me another kiss but this time, she bit my lip hardly.
"Ngh- Hoy! Aray!" reklamo ko at inilayo mukha nya.
By the limited light source, I could tell that she's smirking like a freaking devil.
"What was that?!" I asked habang hinahawakan labi ko.
May lahi ba tong bampira?
"They said, you mark what's yours, so ayan." she said in a playful voice.
Saglit ko syang tinitigan.
Pero mamayamaya ako na itong nakangiti.
"Oh, ngiti ka dyan? Isa pa?" she asked.
Umiling iling ako then raised my hand up in defeat.
"Dapat lang, masakit? Deserv-"
"Oh, sino nagsabing di ako gaganti?"
"What?"
I stepped forward and then lifted her up in my arms, bridal carry way.
"Hoy! Reiven!" she squealed.
"Have you forget na sating dalawa ako parin tong top?"
"Lah! Hey! Put me down!" tugon ni West habang nag pupumiglas.
But I was unbothered at dirediretso lang sa pagaakyat sa kwarto.
"You bit me, and di ako payag na walang ganti dyan"
"Then just bite me back! Put me down!"
I let out a laugh. She's an inch or two taller than me pero walang laban pag binubuhat ko sya.
"Cyrie!"
"Kapalit nung kagat mo, I'll put 3 fingers inside you"
"Putang- REIVEN!" she squirmed harder but it was too late.
Nakapasok na kami sa kwarto.
"Hoy! Paawat ka naman pre!" tugon ni West when I placed her down the bed as I hover on top of her.
I let out a soft smile.
"Ikaw mismo nag request nito,"
"D-di ah!" she said as her cheeks flashed red.
Natawa nalang ako nang maalala ano yung message nya kanina.
It was actually an unsent message but luckily, may naka install sa software ko whereas nasesave yung notif ng messages.
Inshort, kahit naka unsent na, I could still read it.
"Bakit ako manhid, all you wanted is me to come home, suyuin ka, and put 3 fingers in you like I used to do," I smiled.
"Stop!"
"I'm just doing as you wished," that was the last thing I said before I dived in to have my early breakfast.
