"He's stable." The doctor said and we all sighed in relief.
"However-" He paused making us all look back at him.
"He's had a major panic attack which made him faint. His body is still not fully composed from the shock so we've sedated him for the time being."
"When will he wake up?" Enzo asked since the rest of us were speechless.
"Whenever his body relaxes. That depends entirely on him."
"Can we see him?" Gio asked and the doctor nodded.
That was all Gio needed to hear as he made his way into the room first.
I was about to go in behind him when Enzo stopped me. "Give him a few minutes." He said and I nodded.
I felt arms wrap around me from behind and knew it was Marco. He really is a cuddly person, especially when he's going through a bunch of emotions.
A while had passed so I decided to enter the room.
I opened the door and saw Toni laying there, asleep, with Gio sitting beside him.
I saw him wipe a tear before getting up and turning to face me.
I walked towards them, sitting down where Gio was before as I placed my hand on Toni's.
It hurt seeing him like this, so broken.
"He'll be fine May, don't worry." Gio said and I nodded as tears fell from my eyes.
We sat in silence for a while before Gio spoke again. "Please don't be upset with me May. I didn't mean to leave you all like that. I know I should have stayed and been the bigger brother but I just couldn't this time."
"It's not your fault. Your whole life you've had to put yourself last and be selfless. You've never had anyone to speak to about your emotions, yet your here for everyone else. I really shouldn't have been upset with you because you deserve the chance to be selfish. So, I'm sorry Gio. I just-"
I was cut off by him. "Don't apologise." He said as he got down on his knee, holding my hand in his.
"You have no idea how lucky I am to have you. I feel like deep down I was able to be selfish this time because I knew you were here to take care of everyone else. I know it's fucked up and I shouldn't have left the burden on you, but I guess I took the chance? I don't even know what I was feeling or what made me do it."
"You really aren't used to speaking about your emotions." I noted.
He's struggling to describe what made him do what he did, because he's never had anyone to speak to about his emotions.
"Nope, this is the first time."
"Well you're doing great Gio." I said patting his cheek making him smile.
It must be hard for him so I wanted to lighten up the atmosphere.
"I'll tell you why you did it." I had a mischievous smile on my face making him wait for what I had to say.
"Because I'm not useless like the other guys." He laughed at what I said but still nodding in agreement.
"100% the reason."
The other guys entered with confused expressions. "Why you both laughing?" Romeo asked and we shook our head.
Enzo had a proud smile on his face probably because we made up.

Time skip - 1 Week
Everything has slowly gotten back together over the past week.
Toni is home, and fine now. He's back to his usual routine which I'm super proud of.
Gio has also composed himself and got back into his business mode as if nothing happened at all.
So far everything's been good. Except for Mr and Mrs Romano (Nico's parents.)
They're coming over today even though no one invited them or wants them over.
Nico seems super pissed about it. He's been moody the whole day.

I excited the bathroom to go into my room, well mine and Nico's room.
Marie had been gone for a few days but she's back, unfortunately.
I picked out an outfit from my closet. It was a corset top, with jeans. I made sure to put on something over since my brothers get over protective sometimes.
I combed my hair, did some light makeup and was done.
It's been a while since I actually bothered to get dressed up. I've been a mess for a few days, but you can't blame me for that.
The door to my room opened and Nico entered getting something from the draw in front of me.
"They're here." He said in his deep voice not looking at me, but I still nodded.
He really was pissed of right now.
I'd rather not mess with him so I made my way out the room going downstairs.
All my brothers were seating with Nico's parents in the living room.
I greeted them both and sat down between Enzo and Romeo.
Luckily Dante wasn't here.
"We came to inform you all about a ball soon." Mrs Romano said in her sickly sweet tone.
"Why would we go?" Toni asked.
"Your father said he would be going so we assumed you would." She replied.
Why's he going? He never goes to such places.
"Well will you be coming?" Mr Romano said as we all looked at Gio who seemed to be thinking about it.
"Yes, we will."
"That's good."
They were all speaking about stuff between themselves when Romeo turned to me. "What the hell happened to going to school?" He asked.
That made me realise that I haven't been to school for a while. I'm pretty sure the years about to be over.
"No clue."
"Well I know." Romeo said making me look at his mischievous smile. "We have our final exams next week boo."
My eyes widened at his words.
"You snake, why didn't u tell me sooner?"
"I forgot u existed." Romeo replied making me scoff at him as I hit the back of his head.
He was about to do it to me but we heard something smash making us look at what happened.
Marie had dropped a glass all over Nico, making it smash on to the floor.
Nico was fuming. His jaw was clenched, his hands in fisted as Marie started wiping him.
He shoved her off, making her stumble onto the floor as he got up and left the living room.
"May, you should go check on him." Mrs Romano said making me look at her confused.
"You're his wife, it's your job." She added.
Job my ass-
What century does this woman live in? He's a grown as man.
I didn't bother saying anything as I go up and made my way into the room.
Nico seemed to have been in the shower so I decided to sit on the couch, on my phone for the time being.
I hadn't spoke to Alia for a while, so I decided to talk to her.
She was also going to the ball so it would be nice to see her there. At least there's one thing I'm looking forward to.
