I feel myself wake up.
My eyes, now weighing a ton, are kept slightly open with great difficulty.
Surprisingly, I'm the one who woke up earlier today.
I bury myself deeper into the blanket and into the warmth of the one next to me.
Nanami is still asleep, facing me.
A smile cracks out on my face.
It's very rare for me to catch his sleeping face.
My left hand stretches its way out from the blanket and lazy fingers trace the edges of his face gingerly.
He looks so-
Beep beep beep-
Curses.
Groaning, I force myself out of the blanket and lean over Nanami, who seems to be stirring awake, to turn off the alarm.
Shivering slightly, I contemplate if I should get out of bed or go back to sleep.
Taking a glance at Nanami who has returned to his tranquil state, I decide on the former.
Might as well make us some breakfast.
I move as stealthily as I can to not wake him up but I fail thoroughly.
Nanami's hand hooks on my waist and prevents me from leaving, pulling me back to bed even.
I can't help the smirk that forms on my lips.
This is surprising.
This is new.
I stop moving and wait for his next action.
When all that I receive are his movements stilling and his breath getting even again, I call him softly.
"NanaKen?"
His eyebrows rise half heartedly but his eyes remain closed.
"...Hmmm?"
...
That morning voice could be a weapon.
I exhale slowly.
"I'll make us breakfast," I tell him.
But his hold tightens.
He opens an eye with difficulty and manages to rumble out a sentence.
"The bed's warm. Let's sleep in....just this once."
His eyes shut close again and I'm too weak of a person to deny him.
Resignedly, I slip under the covers and into his hold.
I don't know how long we lay like that but I hear the doorbell ringing after some time.
I inwardly groan.
Who could be visiting right now?
And then I hear a familiar voice singing Nanami's name at the entrance.
Sigh.
Trust Gojo to come at your door first thing in the morning.
I squirm inside the blankets and make a move to get out of bed.
This time Nanami grabs my wrist.
"But Gojo-" I begin.
Eyes still shut, he brings his hand out and covers my ear, blocking off the noise.
"He'll leave if we don't answer."
Sike.
"Na-na-mi!
Na-na-mi!
Good morning! Where- are- you!!?"
I hear Nanami curse under his breath.
Maybe it's the kindness of Getou who is probably with him that makes Gojo quiet down and leave.

We wake up later to find that Gojo has left donuts at our door.
I give him a call to thank him while Nanami grumpily takes a bite out of the donut in his hand.
He'll never admit it's actually good.
