Asael and Alvira were a surprise to both their parents and while his mother was overjoyed, their father wasn't as much. He was later overjoyed at the birth of the youngest child which he found unfair. He realized that it took a toll on Alvira, he watched her force herself to express feelings to be more liked, watched her make and change herself. Everything got a little better after the death of his older brother, their dad changed, his anger wasn't on them as much but Alvira was too sacred from everything. Asael, while unfriendly, had one person other than his mom and sisters who he was close to. Alvira's first boyfriend, the one she lost her virginity to when they were both 15..he died in a car accident a few months later and then her other boyfriend popped up and immediately started demanding sex from her which immediately caused fights between them. When Alvira wouldn't stand up for him, her ex would make disgusting claims that the twins were involved in a romantic relationship with each other, when he got dumped, Asael wanted to kill him. He not only helped spread the rumors and exposed his sister but spread rumors about him, he found that he wouldn't get his desire as her ex was found dead.
