"No you don't understand!" Shouted Nobu as he took another spoonful of mashed potatoes,
"You're not making any sense." He continued,
"Wait, he's actually making an interesting point." Uvo commented,
"Wait I still don't understand." Phinks was still confused at the whole debate,
"Ok, I'm not saying that I think it's true but it does kinda makes sense right? Are shrimps and lobsters just wet bugs?" Tey explained as he kept cutting his steak while looking around the table,
"I mean that does sound interesting..." Shalnark replied as Feitan and Franklin kind of nodded to each other,
"Listen I would never eat a damn bug!" Nobunaga continued,
"And you don't like seafood either." Franklin explained,
"Jeez that's a good point maybe I should try bugs then." Phinks said to himself,
"Could you guys just stop? Every single time we sit down around this table, you immediately start to argue about the dumbest things imaginable." Pakunoda told them a bit annoyed,
"I could not even possibly think of such stupid things." Machi murmured,
"Well to me it's interesting, I've eaten a scorpion once before and it wasn't that far off from shellfish." Tey continued as Shal and Franklin looked at him amazed,
"Oh then shrimps have got to be bugs, no question about it if what you're saying is true." Uvo commented,
"Wait what for real? No kidding you ate a scorpion?" Asked Phinks incredulous,
"Yeah it was just a less salty crab basically." Tey explained,
"Debate solved." Feitan murmured,
"No it's not it's just a coincidence!" Nobunaga shouted as he looked at the rest of the table dumbfounded, Chrollo had just arrived to eat lunch and found himself looking at all of the members arguing with animosity over the dumbest kind of matter,
"Okay okay, fair enough so check this out, since the only one who's doubtful is Nobunaga we can settle this by making him eat a fucking scorpion how does that sound?" Asked they to the members around him,
"Fair." Feitan and Machi replied,
"Great that's a fucking great idea." Phinks said with a smile as Nobunaga completely lost it,
"What the fuck are you talking about, I'm not eating a damn scorpion you're gone mad." He said as he stood up angered,
"Nobunaga if that is the only way, it shall be done." The boss said to everyone surprise and amusement.
Then he woke up, that was now a faraway memory, he wouldn't be messing around with Uvo and Paku anymore, he then had a loud laugh, after remembering the moment when Nobunaga actually ate the scorpion, admitting that it tasted like a less salty crab, and Tey revealed him that he never actually ate a scorpion but that it was just a reasonable assumption, Phinks and Uvo were about to die from laughter, and Shalnark became purple, it was also one of the few times when Fei did laugh out loud, fond memories he thought, as a small tear fell from his ocean blue eye, remembering when he brought Uvo, Shizuku, Kortopi, Franklin and Phinks to theater, listening to Dvorak, they were out for a mission and he simply announced that he'd be going to the theater, Shizuku wanted to tag along and then they convinced the remaining members to come as well, and his thoughts drifted to Uvo and his smile and how much he genuinely enjoyed it, or when Paku bless her soul gave him some advice about women when he had just joined and revealed her that he had kind of a date, how to understand which ones are classy and which ones are pretending to be, 'bless your soul I will never meet another woman as classy and as amazing as you.' He thought with a salty almost sour knot in his throat, as he slowly got up from his new bed, he just made himself a new house, not just a house, a damn mansion, almost Great Gatsby like, huge fountain outside, great entrance with a double staircase, gigantic windows, plants and huge chandeliers, an inside courtyard, like how the Romans used to make them, with a pool and balconies from the bedrooms that looked over it and a huge gazebo with wisteria climbing all over the place, and the backyard had the biggest pool with marble tables all around and exotic trees, and a great garden all around the place, 'When I die I want to gift this to the inhabitants of meteor city' he said, he already planned on making a huge party free for all of the meteor city teens and young adults, just because that's what he would've liked as a kid, that was his weird way of supporting the community.
After a quick and small breakfast he met up with Shizuku and Kortopi, at the old Church,
"I carried her with blinky" Shizuku said,
"That's where the boss would've wanted her to rest." Kortopi said as Tey walked near a grave with a small cross and kneeled down, leaving a small but beautiful flower, a bright Jasmine with a beautifully deep smell,
"Make no mistake, what's lost is lost, and what's important is for the spider to keep moving but..." Tenshi said with a saddened tone,
"I won't let this slide, Paku and Uvo will be avenged once the time is right." He finished as he stood up,
"He usually never gets emotional." Kortopi said under his breath, that was a weird side that Tenshi rarely showed but again he often played around and had a lot of bonding time with some members,
"Meteor city has two very important families, am I right Shizuku?" Tenshi asked,
"Yep, the Romanov family which is located at the Zenith, descending from Russian oligarchs and tied with the mafia, and also Le Roidor the family descending from the king and founder of Meteor city himself, the great Leroy D'or or Golden Leroy, their surname literally means the king of gold." She explained with that monotone voice almost as she was reading a script to a class,
"But why are you asking that?" Kortopi asked him,
"I bet you already knew it." He continued,
"Nothing it's just that our little trip could annoy some of those people." Tenshi explained,
"I don't care." Kortopi relied,
"That's the spirit mate, I'm just curious about what's going on in Zorg, the two times that I've been there I felt as if there was something weird going on." Tenshi explained,
"Well I guess that we can stick to the plan and leave in six days, just to get a well deserved break." Tenshi said before waving at the two members and wandering off alone, through the streets, through the markets.
Walked around, looked at the stuff on sale, until he felt something in the distance and walked towards it, in the dusty and windy streets he felt a presence, she was a old crooked lady sitting in a wooden chair in front of a table under an umbrella, she had aura flowing around her, dimly to be fair, just barely,
"Looking ahead of you young man, care to see your future?" She asked,
"Of course." He replied as he sat down,
"I will need your dominant hand." She said with a soft raspy voice as Tenshi handed her his right hand,
"Your presence causes terror and chaos, your heart hasn't grown as much as your mind and body have." She commented as he chuckled, she wasn't wrong after all, then she started searching inside a small bag made from cloth, she closed her eyes and quickly pulled three runes,
"This, this are the runes that your hand is calling for." She said with a serious and more confident tone, as she laid the three stones with weird symbols on the table,
"The phoenix, the moon and the flowers." She explained as Tenshi tried to inspect the symbols more closely,
"You are, you are free as a dragon, but you feel chained or restricted, you feel like that because of what's going on with the people around you." She explained very confidently,
"Rebirth, you will be reborn, new strength, new confidence, new drive, and you will be light even in the darkest of nights for those around you, and you will learn about something that you never knew, you will learn about family, no more specifically your parents you will meet them for the first time." She explained as he struggled to follow her,
"My parents?" He asked politely,
"Yes that's exactly what I saw." She explained,
"A beautiful young couple, they work and still think about you everyday, they haven't moved on, they would've wanted to keep you." She explained further,
"I'm sorry but I have no parents, I'm fine like that, I can't even fathom that thought." Tenshi explained to the old lady,
"You're not forced to meet them, but you're bound to see them." She explained,
"I wish you well young man, I haven't read such an intricate and interesting future in so long, don't stop what you're doing." She said as Tey got up and paid her before leaving a bit confused at what just happened,
"Under normal circumstances I'd assume that she was just rambling but to be fair, she did seem legit, the aura around her, it felt very focused and sincere." He said to himself as he observed his own hand amused before he heard someone call him
"Tey!" He heard and he slowly turned around,
"Tey it's you." A woman selling flowers at the market exclaimed,
"Oh Cara that's you my god." He replied surprised as he walked towards her,
"I haven't seen you in something like almost two years!" She exclaimed,
"The best perfumes in town!" He exclaimed excied,
"I have been selling you flowers drenched in perfume since you weren't tall enough to reach the table." She exclaimed,
"You were always getting in trouble and I was always concerned about your safety." She explained and he had a small embarrassed smile,
"How's your man?" He asked,
"Great he's doing well, farming lots more than ever." She explained as Tenshi was smelling different flowers trying to find his favorite, she had a special technique, she was a perfumer who distilled and made fragrances and then let flowers soak into them, so that you could get a flower and use it for ambience and make a room smell great while also adding a nice touch of class, or like how Tey always did, go around with a flower in your necklace or above your ear or between your hair, he was the only one to use it like that really, most people rubbed it on their wrists and necks and kept it somewhere where you couldn't notice it, maybe some girls did wear the flower if they had a fancy night out or something, but only someone like Tey could pull of wearing nonchalantly something like a huge colorful flower in the most flamboyant elegant way possible,
"This one, I like it, it's a jasmine, and this smell, has got to be vetiver and amber, I'd say cardamom and cedar wood quite possibly." He tried to guess while looking at her,
"Wow you've gotten really good!" She exclaimed surprised, he then let out a small laugh as he gave her money with quite a considerable tip, she tried to give it back to him but he insisted that money wasted the last one of his worries and that he quite frankly spent it in any way he could think of but kept getting more and more, which is to be fair the least worrisome issue on this earth, quite possibly a problem that everyone wishes they had.
He felt his phone vibrating, looked at it, and it was Namisa,
"Yes?" He picked it up,
"Oh my god last night was insane, I haven't had that much fun in a while, the Metro was awesome, and afterwards just roaming around." She explained,
"Like when we were kids." He commented with a light smile that she could almost feel through the phone,
"I just wanted to say that I missed you, and asked you if we could do something another time if you're not busy obviously." She explained,
"Yeah of course why not, what about tonight, is Haru free as well?" Tey asked,
"I think so, I'll ask him and text you back." She replied,
"Well I gotta go now but, I just wanted to let you know that I am thankful for yesterday, I really missed you, and I thought that the old you would've came back, but I was wrong thankfully." She said as he stood there in silence without replying before they awkwardly said bye to each other and ended the call,
"Man this week of break is really what I needed after that mess." Tenshi said to himself relieved before walking toward the spa, a huge eastern style building with spa and saunas, to pass there the rest of his morning and relax.
