You were making s'mores when Ali nudge you.
"Do you know that guy in the red hoodie?" she asks still glancing at him.
You look at where she's looking at and roll your eyes.
"That's my brother,Daniel"
"He's cute" she laughs a little.
"Oh, please don't say that. I feel like i'm about to barf" you jokingly gag.
She pushes you slightly with her shoulder and laughs.
You were peacefully eating your s'mores before a ball hit your knees.
You glare up at the culprit and saw Daniel slightly point to Ali.
"Go to talk to him, Ali" you pass the ball to her.
"Are you sure?"
"yeah, instead of goggling eyes at each other how about you ask him to teach you something" you tease.
"okay" she laughs before going to Daniel.
Suddenly you hear loud bike noises.
Susan and Barbara groans.
"What is it?" you asked them.
"It's the cobra kai, a group of karate kids." Barbara replies.
"They're a bunch of bullies if I'm being honest" Susan said.
You look up on top of the hill and see a group of five boys.
Tommy POV
We all cheer as we just finish our karate class. Sensei has been pushing us hard these days.
"All right" I said as I stopped my bike
"That was awesome" Johnny cheers.
"Brew time,man. Who's for a warm one? here you go" I asked as I offer a beer to Johnny.
"No,I pass man" he decline.
"Hey, Bobby?" I offer him next.
"No thanks, pals" he decline as well before I gave it Dutch and Jimmy.
"Who are you kidding? You're still the ace degenerate." I look at Johnny.
"No, ex- degenerate man. 8am tomorrow, I'm a senior. I've got one year to make it all work." He point at one finger.
"and that's what i'm gonna do. Make it work, all of it." he point to his chest.
"That's right,man" Bobby said as he and Johnny shake hands.
I looks over at the beach and saw a sight of two figures.
"Hey, you must be a trendsetter,Johnny. Looks like everyone is doing something new" I said still looking at the figures smiling.
"What?" he ask clueless.
"Take a right, check it out" I point to him.
Ali and a new guy we've never seen before fall on top of each other after failing to dribble a ball.
"Forget it,man. It's ancient history." Bobby tried to pursue him.
"Who told you that,man" he said in rage before putting on his helmet.
"Johnny!"
"I thought they broke up?" Jimmy asked.
"she did, he didn't" I said as I zipped up my bag and put on my helmet.
We all went down the hill and stop our bike near Ali's friends.
"Ali, I want to talk to you" Johnny went to Ali.
I lean on my bike as I watch them.
"Leave me alone. We've been over all this. I don't want to talk" she keep on resisting.
"Well, I want to talk to you,all right?" Johnny keep on pushing.
I saw a girl watching them confused. I've never seen her before. She's quite beautiful. I never realise I've been staring at her for too long.
"What is your problem?" I snapped out from watching the girl to Johnny and Ali arguing.
"Why don't you take your little cobra kai and get out of here!" she yell as she picks up her radio.
"like that's gonna solve everything" Johnny snatch her radio.
At this point, a lot of people is watching their argument.
"give me my radio." she tries to take her radio from Johnny.
"I said, give me my radio"
"You promise you'll talk to me"
"yes, give me my radio"
Johnny gave her the radio, she just smile cheekily before turning her radio back on.
Johnny took back her radio and smash it on the ground breaking it.
"You just break my radio!" she push him.
"Yeah"
Y/n POV
I stand up and watch Ali and the guy in red jacket argue.
I saw Daniel came close and pick up the radio.
"don't get involved,Daniel" I silently mutter.
"Don't touch it, punk" the guy yell and snatch the radio from him.
"What's going on?" Daniel ask clueless.
"You want it?" the guy in red ask.
"yeah" Daniel answer.
The guy push the radio to Daniel chest making him fall.
"What the hell is your problem?" I push the guy chest.
He just shove me away to one of his friend in a darker red jacket.
He also shove Ali to his friend in lighter blue jacket.
Daniel ran up to him and ended up tripping over the guy's foot.
I try to release myself from the guy's grip but he just holds me tighter.
"Johnny, stop it!" Ali yells.
so the asshole name is Johnny.
Daniel ran up to Johnny again and ended up the same position.
"Stop it!" I yelled.
"I didn't do anything" he laughs shrugging his shoulder.
The guy Johnny kick Daniel on his abdomen making him fall on the sand.
I stare at Daniel,worried while still trying to get out of this guy grip.
"You're the big man now,huh?" Ali mutter to him.
"Look. You're started it. All I want to do is talk."
"Leave him alone and we'll go talk" Ali tries to pursue him.
"Where did I hear that before?" He starts walking towards Daniel.
"How about you,hero? had enough?"
Daniel got up and punched Johnny in the face caught him off guard.
"now we're even man" Daniel tries to shake his hand while still in a horrible fighting stance.
"no mercy man, no mercy" Johnny mutter quietly before beating up Daniel.
"Stop it!!" I elbow the guy holding me and kick his knees before doing the same to the Johnny guy.
I went over to Daniel and check him.
"are you okay,daniel?" I asked him concern.
Ali pushes Johnny and yells.
"why don't you hit me,huh?" she yells.
"It's your fault!" He tries to blame her while holding his nose.
"It's not my fault"
"It's your fault"
"Ever think it's your fault? Why do you always have to fight,huh?"
"Bullshit. Get on your bikes, guys" he starts walking to his bike with his friend.
Freddy and his friends just look at Daniel.
"You sure pick people to be friends with,Freddy. Where do you find this guy?" One of Freddy's friends said, he laughs and walk away.
You glare at Freddy. "Stay away from Daniel from now on!"
He just sighs and walks away.
"Can you get up, Daniel?" you try to pull him up.
"Are you okay?" Ali asked.
"Leave me alone" he grunt.
"I'll help you" She tries to offer.
"Leave me alone. I'm okay"
"It's okay Ali, I'll help him" You reassure her.
"okay, I'll see you at school" she walks away with Barbara and Susan.
"Come on, Daniel" You help him up.
"That guy's a jerk"
"Yea, like I didn't know" he said sarcastically.
"Come on, let's go home"
Tommy POV
Me and Bobby are the only one left hanging out, the others already went home.
"That girl hit me pretty hard" I said while rubbing my nose.
"Who do you think she is? Her and that guy look pretty close." Bobby asked.
"I don't know." I shrug.
"She got you pretty good, though" he laughs.
"Yeah, she's quite strong for a girl. You think she goes to our school?" I look at him.
"I think so. Why are you so interested in this girl, Tommy?"
"Just curious. Come on, let's go home." We got on our bike and went home.
