"Where y'all taking her bro!" I huffed as I followed behind the nurses as they wheeled ori down the hallway
"Sir, We need you to go wait in the waiting room. Please" The doctor said coming in front of me stopping me from following the nurses
"No. That's my fucking pregnant girlfriend, I need to be with her" I argued as I balled up my fist
I don't know what happened but me and junior were just playing downstairs on the PlayStation as ori slept upstairs
And as we was playing the game I hear ori screaming
I rushed upstairs too see ori on the ground holding her stomach and screaming in pain
I never seen her scream like this before and I immediately began to freak out
She kept crying saying she was in pain and something is wrong
So I called 911 and followed behind
"I understand but we have to figure out what's wrong with your girlfriend sir!" The doctor sighed
"DAVID!" I heard my moms voice. I turned around to see my mom rushing into the hospital
"Ma over here!" I raised my voice a little to get her attention
"Oh my gosh. What happened?" She asked approaching me and the doctor
"That's what we're tryna figure out right now ma'am. And it'll be best if you guys wait outside in the waiting room" The doctor said
He say that shit one mo time imma punch him straight in his shit
"David let's go!" My mom said holding onto my arm. "Mannnnnnnn" I smacked my lips letting out a loud groan
I snatched my arm away and walked back to the waiting room and sat down
"Tell me what happened??" She asked as she sat in the empty chair next to me. "Ion know ma" I sighed shaking my head
"I just heard her yelling and I went upstairs and she was on the ground screaming in pain" I said as my eyes got teary
"Everything is gonna be fine!" She sighed as she rubbed my back in circles
"What if she loses the baby.......what imma do" I sniffed wiping my tears. "Ain't nothing gon happen to her or that baby. God is with her at all cost" She said

"Where's junior?" She asked. "He's home" I said. "Alone??" She asked. "No. I told sienna, Ori best friend to go over to the house to look after him" I said
" Okay well, I just came to check to make sure everything was alright. I'm gon head back to work now. Call me if anything. Okay." She said and I nodded my head
She got up from the chair n began to make her way out
I laid back in the chair and began to get lost in my thoughts
I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket causing me to pull it out, I looked at the screen and it was ori's mom calling me
I leaned forward and answered the call
"Hello" I said. "Is everything okay?? Where's ori??What happened my love......" She sighed
"Ion know what happened yo...." I mumbled as I broke down crying
"David honey, What happened?" She asked again as she began to get worried
"Ion know man. She was upstairs yelling. And now the doctors won't let me back there wit her" I sniffed
"Did she eat anything she wasn't supposed to??" She asked. "No. She only ate pasta and went to sleep because she said she ain't feel good" I said
" Do you want me to come down there??" She asked. "Yea please" I sighed
"Okay. I'll see you later. Okay? Bye" She said before hanging up

"Family of X'ori Jenkins Williams" The doctor called out. "That will be me!" I said jumping up from my seat
"So what's going on?" I asked approaching him. "Unfortunately, She had to deliver the baby early. Due to a sudden stomach flu outbreak that she was possibly having. But we did manage to get the baby out safe and sound and it's being transported to the NICU since it's premature" He said
"So where's my girl?" I asked. "She's in the room recovering right now" He said
"Can I see her?" I asked. "Mhm" He said. "Follow me" He said as he led me to the room
"Thank you!" I said to him as I walked into the room
I walked in and looked over to the bed and seen X'ori laying there with her eyes closed
She flickered her eyes open and instantly broke into tears as she saw me standing there
"Dave......" she sobbed. "It's okay mama" I softened my voice as I walked over to the bed
"Stop crying, Everything is gonna be okay" I sighed wiping her tears with my hand
"It's all my fault!" She cried. "It's not ori....Things happened. At least they got the baby out before anything got worse" I said
I pulled a chair closer to the bed and sat down
"You good?" I asked and she nodded her head
I was about to say something but a light knock interrupted me
"Come in" I said, Few seconds later there walked in a doctor
"You must be the dad!" The lady smiled looking at me. "Yes" I said nodding my head
"Congratulations to you two, It's a girl!" She said causing a smile to appear on my face
I looked over at X'ori and she had a weak smile on her face
I know she's happy it's just that she's in pain right now
"Ms.Willams did you take your pills for your stomach" She asked ori. "Yes" Ori said nodding her head
"Can I see my baby" Ori asked. "Nope. Not right now you can't" The lady said
"Why?" I asked scrunching up my face. "Since ori gave birth too early, The baby is placed in the NICU because she's fragile at the moment. Probably in two weeks y'all can visit her at the NICU but she isn't permitted to leave the hospital just yet" She said explaining
"Mannnn that's my fucking daughter!" I smacked my lips. "Sir I understand but for the baby safety it's better to wait until the time is right" She said
"I'll be back" She said before excusing herself
"What we gon name her dave....!" Ori asked
