━ 04. Unhealthy Thirst
The bell rings as the students come flooding out of the school all walking toward their respective vehicles. Vincent however walked toward the office where he found Edward.
"I'll just endure it." Edward tells the woman while Vincent paid him no attention handing her his form.
"How was your day sweetheart?"
"Eventful." He responds before he turned around walking past Edward who couldn't stop staring at him but Vincent honestly couldn't care less.
He made his way toward the car where Nico sat on the hood patiently waiting for him.
"Where's Val?" He questioned confused looking around for his twin. Nico shrugged pushing his shades down onto his face.
"I don't know let me go find her...oh wait I'm not her father." He sarcastically responds.
"You are such a brat." He grumbled when his ears flutters picking up the heavy sounds of the light footsteps of his sister.
He spins around as his eyes locked on Val who was walking side by side with Alice Cullen making him groan.
"I know like hell she did not befriend her."
"She did." Nico blandly says with the same expression as they watched Val smile at Alice before walking over toward them.
"Are you out of your mind?" Vincent yelled at her as they all got into the car.
"Relax idiot, it's called blending in. Get close to Alice and we learn more about her family...meaning we get to see if we get to kill them or not." Val ruffled her hair while Nico growled at her.
"Did he just growl at me?" Val eyes were wide at the fact that he growled at her.
"You're not going to touch Emmett or I'll rip off your arms and beat you with then." He threatened her.
"Oh yeah, we have a lot to talk about." Vincent sighed before he pulled off.

"Wait a bloody minute...so Emmett is that huge guy you both found in 1934? The one who Nico had a crush on." Val asked her brothers as they all sat inside of Vincent's room.
"Yes, back in Tennessee, we were traveling a bit when we stumbled upon that town. Honestly the thing that was appealing to me at first was that when we found him he was fighting a bear." Vincent sighs.
"So he's a Cold one? Just like Edward who happens to be your soulmate." Val pointed at him making him groan.
"Please don't remind me, I don't understand out of everyone in the world I had to be mated to one of the most annoying types of vampire."
"He's not that bad, he's attractive maybe a little weird but other than that what's so wrong with Edward?" Val lifted her eyebrow.
"Too many things to list, I just don't want a mate right now especially because we're on the run from our kingdom being invaded." Vincent huffed walking into his closet.
"You could use a mate, I mean your lonely and have been for the last thousand years. This could be your chance to finally have something of your own." Nico commented.
"How am I'm going to explain to our people when I suddenly show up back home with him on my arm? Am I supposed to lead an entire country with him? Because please tell me if there's another way."
Walking into his closet Vincent began changing his clothes leaving his siblings to stand there with a grimace of their faces while he ruffled his hair.
"So what are you two scheming up? I heard you from across the road." Valentina sat on the bed looking at her brothers arching her eyebrow.
"We're going out for a little dinner, it's been a while since we had a little snack." Vincent chuckled.
"Uncle Jonas isn't going to like that." The younger twin commented.
"I don't give a rats ass what Uncle Jonas wants, if I have to drink another blood bag you might as well call me uncle Stefano." Vincent zipped up his sweater walking out of the closet.
"Now are you coming or are you going to pout all day?"

"I'm telling you Carlisle somethings not right with them." Rosalie shook her head as the entire Cullen clan sat around the living room.
"And how do you know this Rose?" Aaron another one do their adoptive brothers commented—he had just arrived into town from Alaska.
"Because, for one they don't have a scent everyone I go near one of them all I smell is literal nothing." The blonde vampire emphasized.
"That's not true, Vincent smells like wet paint, with a little bit of rain it's a really nice scent." Edward commented from the window.
"Well of course you think it's nice—the weirdo is your damn mate." She rolled her eyes.
"Alice did you see anything about them?" Carlisle looked at the light hearted vampire who shook her head.
"Nothing, it's like their entire future doesn't exist to me—when I try to push more in it hurts." Alice muttered earning a shocked look from Edward.
"I felt the same thing—when I tried reading Vincent's mind I felt as though I was being pain inflected on."
"Clearly there something if they can block their abilities it's never been done before." Connor Rosalie's mate noted from the side of her.
"Well it's not like we can just go up to them and ask I think Vincent would rip our arms off if we did." Emmett muttered shaking his head.
"Not Edwards." Alice comments earning a glare from the mind reading vampire.
"Oh yeah—Vincent is Edward's mate so maybe he can get to know Vincent and see what he is." Emmett shrugged.
"That could be dangerous Emmett, we don't know what type of man this boy is." Rosalie comments.
"Oh? Then I'll write Edward a great eulogy for his funeral." Joking Emmett laughing Aaron smirked at his joke shaking his head.
"Well we'll just have to see, pay close attention to them the littlest thing counts. Perhaps I could find some information on them." Carlisle suggested
"Good luck with that." Alice comments.

Walking inside a night club, Vincent followed by Val and Nico all looked around smiling at the hundreds of of people that all danced around—they had to drive an hour out of town to find a club because forks had zero.
"Now this is a feast." Licking his lips Vincent walked off moving on his way down toward the floor.
"How does this work?" Valentina questions watching as Vincent slowly began to shake his hips to the music running a hand through his hair.
"You gotta blend in Val, humans love to admire beautiful things." Vincent tells his sister while he smiled constantly dancing attracting some eyes.
His connected with a quite handsome man, he was tall dark haired with blue eyes. Definitely his type smiling Vincent continued to grind his hips becoming more alluring to the man.
Valentina followed in his footsteps whipping her hair to the side she allowed it to fall on the left side of her face giving her a more sensual touch.
Nico was at the bar drinking, he had no intention of seducing anyone—not that he could, his mind only allowed him to think of Emmett.
He had no idea how Vincent wasn't foaming out of the mouth just thinking about Edward but his brother was someone of mystery—he had the ability to shut out the world around him and only focus on himself.
He acted just like the vampires you hear about in folklore, highly attractive creatures who use their beauty to lure their prey in.
Vincent was the most powerful creature, that anybody had ever encountered he had abilities that nobody in their entire existence had, he was a massive manipulator and viscous when it came to getting what he wanted.
A thousand years of living on this earth he started to pick up on the adaptation of the world—he slowly started to learn to hunt smarter he used people's weakness as an advantage, he used their insecurities to his prosperity and he used their fears as his dreams.
Smirking his hands wrapped tightly around the man's neck who began to push his body up against his—Vincent didn't mind one bit lowering his lips to his as they met in the middle.
This entire mate thing had shaken him up more than he was letting on—he never wanted one, he hated the idea of somebody having such a hold on his heart and it terrified him to love something more than he could
Love himself it just wasn't his normal.
So instead of facing that fear he let it consume him driving him to hunger—his eyes only seemed to lighten with a pale blue glow—his lower face darkens with veins pulsing down it.
His fangs only seemed to sharpen emerging from his teeth before he smirked tearing into the man's neck—he allowed himself to consume the blood and the feeling he felt was so euphoric and unexplainable.
There was nothing like human blood, the blood fangs didn't satisfy their hunger—it was that primal instincts in them that made it more exciting to hunt their food they loved the chase and thrill that it caused.
He slowly pulled away smirking at the dazed man who smiled at him—he tilted his head it seemed the man didn't mind the pain which excited him even more.
He'd have to save Edward for another day, tonight was just about how he felt and what he wanted—his mate could hold on.
