Hey.
Sorry if I didn't post any chapters yesterday. I did something that kept me busy. Anyways. Enjoy this chapter in my main book

Warszawa's POV
I decided to let the girls do whatever they want after that tiny beach trip. Much to their dismay. Jeez...
Anyways. I have gone to the Docks to do some do some maintenance checks on my ship. Because why not?. Theirs a planned journey tomorrow and I need to check if my ship is capable or not.
I then boarded my ship and did what was in my maintenance checklist. Which is
Warszawa's Maintenance Checklist
- Visual Check
- Engine Check
- Bridge Instruments Check
- Radar and Sonar Check
- Main Armament Check
- Secondary Armament Check
- AA Guns Check
- Torpedo Tubes Check
Yeah. That's alot of work to do.
Oh well. I need to start.
Let's start with the first and easiest one on the list. The Visual Check. I might as well check the Torpedo, Main, Secondary and AA Guns while we're at it.
So I took a stroll around the deck to check if theirs no suspicious activities going on on my ship.
I then stumbled across the Port Secondary Armaments. The design of the placement of the Secondary Armament is pretty similar to that of the new "North Carolina" Class Fast Battleships that are being built for the Eagle Union
(A/N: The North Carolina we're not in commission during this time but is being built from 1937-1941. And since it's 1939. Their gonna be well known by this time. Especially North Carolina which if we skip by one more year and a few months. Our timeline now is December 1939. North Carolina would be launched.)
Although the only difference between my placement of my Secondaries and the Eagle Unions Approach is that mine is more closely compact while theirs has a noticeable space between them. And also the fact that I have 6 Inch Guns instead of their 5 Inch guns. Oh and also the fact that mine has 2 Turrets above, 3 Turrets Bottom while theirs is 3 Turrets above, 2 Turrets bottom. Anyways.
I decided to check up on my Main Turrets. Starting with
My Port Wing Turret.
These Turrets were placed to provide extra firepower.
Because my designers thought the 15, 16 Inch Guns weren't enough so they added 6 more guns and here we are. But no matter. Atleast I have the firepower advantage against any Potential Battleship I might spar against.
I then walked around. Continuing my inspection of my ship. I then came to a siding and looked back.
(Pretend that we are at the docks of Leith, Edinburgh)
My 3 Triple Turrets.
The Placement alone gives me an advantage against other Battleships. Due to the fact that all three are superfiring over each other. Giving them an opportunity to engage the enemy. This gives my an advantage when spearheading a charge. I have 9, 16 Guns to bear against an enemy ship. 11 if one of my Wing Turrets engages.
Yeah. That's alot of firepower at best.
I then walked to the rear end of the ship and went to we're my "Eyes in the Sky" are located
Ah yes. The "Aviation Deck".
Originally the aft deck was supposed to house 2 more extra anchors. But the Polish Navy thought it would be impractical given the fact I already have 3 anchors. 5 is too much. Which I pretty much agree.
So instead what my designers did to not make the aft deck useless was to install a Eagle Union type setup. With two catapults. A crane and a Hanger. Pretty much just like the types you would see on Eagle Union Ships.
I then looked at my Hanger and saw all four of my Arado Ar196 still there. Wings folded. Ready for actions. Good.
I then walked away from the deck and onto my next destination. The Torpedo Tubes
I didn't really get to know the reason why this were even installed in the first place. I mean. Yeah. They're there to provide more extra firepower. But I already have so much firepower. So why add Torpedoes?
Maybe as a deterent to Destroyers?
Maybe as a part to make myself a "Multipurpose" Unit?
Or maybe as a weapon I could used so that I don't have to waste too much main and secondary ammunition to sink a ship. Maybe. Maybe
(A/N: This was attempted on the German Battleships, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau during WW2. But the theory was never put to the test as all three ships sank without encountering a convoy after their torpedoes were added)
After thinking about it. I decided to go to the bridge. Walking into my superstructure and climbing the way towards my bridge. After a while. I made it
MMsv z
My bridge doesn't look modern. Sure. It had great visibility. But... Eh whatever. Although it looks relatively nice.
Warszawa: Wait does it still work? *Goes to a certain lever. The middle lever and pulls it down*
Warszawa: HAHA!. It's still works :)
I then put the lever back up. Letting sunlight in my bridge.
I then walked up to the Starboard bridgewing
Warszawa: Hmn. Check
After that. The Port bridgewing and I was done. Well. I'll check the AA next morning

After looking at my ship. I then turned my attention to the sea.
It gave me time to think
To consider
To ponder
Was I one the right path?
Or the wrong one?
Am I enjoying my life as a Kansen?
I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice Błyskawica was behind me until she hugged me
Błyskawica: Warsaw?. What are you thinking about..?
Warszawa: Oh?. Nothing it's nothing.
She then let go of her hug. As I turned around to face her. Only for her to hug again
Błyskawica: Your lying..
Warszawa: Aww. Are you worried for me?
She then looked at me with the angry expression but ruined completely by a blush on her face
Błyskawica: You dummy. Of course I was worried for you!
Warszawa: Hehehe. That's cute. Don't worry Błyskawica. I'll be fine. As long as I know you, Grom, Burza and the Admiral are okay. Then I'll be fine too.
Błyskawica: Fine...
Warszawa: ;). Btw. Where is Grom and Burza?
Błyskawica: Their going here as we speak. Along with the Admiral.
Warszawa: Thats great!. How bout we cook something for them?. We have a voyage tomorrow so why not celebrate our stay here with a "Grand Polish Feast"!.
Błyskawica: Hmnmnm.... I guess we can.
Warszawa: Great! Let's do it Together then.
Błyskawica: HAH?!
Błyskawica. Entire unused to these type of situations. Can only wrap her hands around Warszawa neck and stare wide eyed at him with a blush as she gets carried by him towards the Ships Main Kitchen. Let the cooking of the Feast Begin!
Timeskip brought to you by:
3 Hours Later of Cooking
The sun was starting to set and me and Błyskawica are done cooking. And oh boy did we cook alot. Here are the dishes that we cooked. All of with are Polish. Hehehe
Let's start of with...
Makowiec
This extremely delicious pastry takes pride of place at almost every table in Poland during the Easter and Christmas period.
Next
Flaki
The Polish version of a popular beef tripe soup, flaki might not sound hugely appetizing, but it's very significant to the country.
Although it's not exclusive to Poland - similar recipes can be found in neighboring Ukraine, Belarus and Germany - the soup has been popular here since the 14th century and was said to be the favorite dish of Poland's King Jogaila.

Pierogi
Pierogi is undoubtedly Poland's most famous and simple comfort food. And my second favorite food/dish. Yum!
But after tasting one of these delicious filled dumplings, you're likely to find yourself craving more.
Perogis can be cooked or fried; stuffed with meat, vegetables, cheese, fruit, chocolate; accompanied by a sour cream topping or just butter.
From street food spots to fancy restaurants, they can be found pretty much everywhere in Poland.
Enter a true kingdom of pierogis at Gdansk food institution Pierogarnia Mandu, which serves more than 35 varieties. Xixixi~!

Zurek
Zurek is the perfect Polish comfort food.
At first glance, it might seem like just an ordinary fermented rye soup, but zurek is regarded as something of a national treasure by the Polish.
As is the case for almost all nation-defining meals, each family tends to champion its own zurek recipe.
While there are many regional variations of the dish, the most recognized version consists of sour rye flour with potatoes, plenty of vegetables and lots of meat.
Last. But not least. We have
Bigos!
Bigos stew is the national dish of Poland. It can be made with any kind of meat from pork to rabbit or venison, but should always have spicy Polish sausage.
One of Poland's most loved foods, bigos consists of a combination of three ingredients. The first is sauerkraut - the longer it's cured the better.
Xixixi. Anyways. I looked back at Błyskawica and damn she was tired. Sweating all over the place. She really needed to rest. Hmnnm. How bout. We're best friends anyways so she won't mind. Right?
Warszawa: *Kisses her on the cheek*
Błyskawica: *K.O*
Warszawa: Welp.
I then brought her to the coach and let her rest for a while. After waiting. Grom, Burza and Rear Admiral Jerzy Swirski Arrived
Rear Admiral Jerzy Swirski: Warszawa?. We're he-. What happened to Błyskawica
Grom: Jeez. She looks tired. Anywa-
*Sees the Food*
Burza: *Drooling*. You cooked that?. With Błyskawica?
Warszawa: Of course. To celebrate Christmas early and. Just for fun because tomorrow we're going for a voyage to Scapa Flow. We're gonna have this Feast!.
Rear Admiral Jerzy Swirski: Oh... Um. Thank you Warszawa. You didn't have to do this but. Thank you..
Warszawa: Your welcome Admiral. Alright. What are you guys waiting for?. Let's dine in!
After that. We all eat the Feast. Of course I woke up Błyskawica and all of us ate the food we cooked up together. I'll remember this moment. I'll tell you that much. And we all eat happily ever after before going back to sleep for the night.
