The mermaid turned to the Straw Hats, blankly staring at them for a few seconds before screaming in terror. Everyone jumped back from her sudden scream as the mermaid yelled. "OH MY GOSH! IT'S A BUNCH OF HUMANSS!!"

"Uh.. yeah." Luffy stared at her in shock before Chopper yelled at everyone to stop screaming.

"I'm sorry. I was just startled! Anyways, thanks for saving my life. It feels like I'm always getting swallowed by sea kings. This was probably the twentieth time!" The mermaid innocently smiled at the crew.

"That's concerning.." (Y/N) placed her hand on her cheek, tilting her head slightly. Usopp quickly added in. "You gotta stop that. Geez."

"There has to be some way to pay you guys back." The mermaid smiled brightly as if a lightbulb went off in her head. "Ooh! Octopus fritters!"

Luffy drooled like a dog from the thought of food. "You have some? Ooo gimme, gimme!"

"Sure thing! They're five hundred berries each. How many can I put you down for?" The Straw Hats collectively questioned the mermaid's bargain with shocked expressions on their faces. The starfish slapped the mermaid's face, yellling that she wasn't selling fitters to them. "AHH I'M NOT, AM I?!!"

Sanji began twirling around, singing praises about meeting mermaid. "Mermaids! The jewels of the sea! And she's adorable, just like I imagined!! I'm kidding, you're even better than I imagined! You said your name was Camie? This is the best day of my whole life!!"

Usopp waved off the cook's antics. "Come on. That's not true. You met Granny Kokoro, didn't you?"

Agony struck Sanji's face like a tidal wave from the memory of Kokoro's mermaid form, the chef fell to his hands and knees in dread. "Gigantic monsters? Zombies? That was nothing. That's not fear. My heart already felt like true meaning of terror when I saw her.."

Usopp held up his hands towards the cook. "It's okay! I know just how you feel. Let's just forget that ever happened, Sanji. She's the first mermaid we met."

(Y/N) had a death aura radiating off her making Usopp and Sanji slowly turn in fear. "What did you say about Kokoro?" Irritation was clearly present in her voice as she glared them down with a crooked smile.

"Uhh! We're sorry!! It's just that—" (Y/N) shut them up by giving them large bumps on their heads.

Luffy looked back at Franky in confusion. "Huh? Are you saying that Granny Kokoro was a mermaid? But she could walk and stuff."

"I see. Guess you never found out, did ya?" Franky rubbed his chin in thought. "You were busy fighting that Lucci guy when she saved us from drowning."

Disgust ran across Luffy's face. "Granny Kokoro was cool and all, but thinking of her as a mermaid is really gross."

"You'll be old some day, too!" Nami yelled as she punched her captain's face.

Luffy fell over before yelling up at the ginger. "That hurt! Why are you so strong?!"

(Y/N) grinned at Nami's work, watching the ginger irritatedly crossed her arms. "Geez. I had enough of you men and your gross mermaid fantasies."

"But still. She is rather cute, isn't she?" Robin smiled at the mermaid, (Y/N) nodded in agreement. "Most definitely."

Brook laughed as he walked up to Camie. "This is my first encounter with a mermaid as well." The skeleton crouched down to the mermaid. "Pardon me, but would you be so kind to lend me some money?" Sanji kicked Brook to his side, yelling at him for scaring Camie. The mermaid was still screaming about the walking and talking skeleton as Brook showed Camie he can open his skull. Sanji sent more kicks at the laughing pile of bones to scare him away from the mermaid, but Camie was clapping and smiling from Brook's skull trick. 'I'm not sure if I can keep up with this girl's mood swings..' (Y/N) giggled at her thought.

Luffy popped up next to Camie. "So I gotta know.. How do you poop?" Sanji screamed at his cook, setting his leg's sight on a new target. Camie innocently began to answer the captain's question, but Sanji cut her off. The cook yelled with tears in his eyes. "SHE DOESN'T POOP!!"

Sanji and Luffy entered a kick n' dodge spat as the small starfish sulked in the corner about Camie forgetting him. "Oh yeah. Camie, is that your pet?" (Y/N) pointed over at the sulking starfish.

Luffy and Sanji stopped their fight, looking over at the starfish. The captain stretched his arm, grabbing the creature and pulled him between Camie and himself. "So uh. One question, Camie. What is this thing? Like uh, taking glove maybe?" Luffy poked the starfish's face, pointing at the creature.

"Oh! Oh no, this guy is my pet. His name is Pappag. He's a starfish and also my teacher." Camie quickly explained making Luffy question her words. Camie smiled up at the captain, confirming her 'teacher' statement as Luffy placed Pappag down.

"Is it normal for starfish to talk?" Nami asked her long nosed crew mate, Usopp quickly replied. "As normal as it is for your pet to be your teacher."

Pappag jumped on Sunny's upper railing deck, pulling out a white ukelele from no where. "I let her take me in. We have our reasons." The starfish stung his ukulele, singing. "Camie~ She feeds me clams~ What can I say, I am what I am~~"

"That's your pet food?" Nami innocently questioned the starfish, but Pappag started playing his ukulele and singing again.

Everyone ignored the pet to listen to Camie talk about her where her t-shirt came from and explained that Pappag was the lead designer for a brand named Criminal, a popular fashion label on Fish-Man Island. (Y/N) looked up at the sulking starfish once more as Luffy asked how he can talk. Pappag jumped up from the sudden attention. "I'm so glad you've asked! See, back when I was a kid, I was a little confused. I thought I was a human. But by the time I figured out I was a starfish, I already knew how to talk!"

"Wow. I didn't know talking worked like that." Luffy said back to the starfish.

Pagaya sighed, shaking his body like someone would shake their head. "The brain is a power thing, my friend. They say you can do anything you put your mind too."

"'Capt wouldn't know about that. He doesn't have a brain." (Y/N) snickered as Luffy irritatedly turned to her. "Hey! What is that supposed to mean?!"

"I think you know, Luffy." Usopp joined (Y/N)'s snickering.

Pappag spun back to the crew. "Anyway, whatever. I'm Pappag, the starfish. Up and coming fashion designer. Thanks for saving me! Seriously, you guys are the best!"

"We're lucky we met you. The truth is, we're a bit lost. Since you're from around here—" Nami was cut off by Luffy's screams.

"No, Nami! Octopus fritters first!" Luffy pouted making (Y/N) lightly giggle.

Camie smiled over at Luffy. "Right, I forgot. I won't charge you either. Hold on, let me call Hachi and we'll work out a meeting spot." Camie pulled out a small transponder snail. The crew stood in a few moments of silence until the snail was answered. "Hey! It's Camie. Are you doing okay, Hachi? Sorry I got kinda lost. So where are you right now?"

"Oh. So it's Camie, is it?" A voice spoke through the snail followed by menacing laughter. Camie called out for her friend once more, but the voice quickly spoke back. "You don't know who you're talking to. This ain't your buddy, Hachi."

"WHATT?!! YOU'RE NOT HACHI?!!" Camie screamed in shocked fear.

"Of course not. Listen. This is Macro from the big dumb Macro Gang. Wait.. I should say that about myself." The snail spoke back.

"My goodness. This sounds like trouble." Robin rested her head on her hand.

Camie quickly yelled back at Macro. "What are you doing with Hachi's transponder snail?!"

Macro laughed. "We beat him up and stole it from him. What do you think? Mahahaha.."

"Yeah right! Don't lie to me. There's no way Hachi would lose to you." Camie sassed back.

"Normally you would be right. We aren't normally a match for him, but this time we teamed up with the Flying Fish Riders. And he didn't stand a chance." Macro evilly laughed once more. Pappag, who was now next to Camie, cursed the mention of the Flying Fish Riders as another voice spoke through the transponder snail. "Camie, you're alright! Well that's a relief."

"Hachi! Don't tell me they really beat you!" Camie spoke back with worry in her voice.

Hachi sighed in defeat. "I let my guard down. Anyway, no matter what they tell you, don't come to save me! I'll beat these guys somehow and get out on my own. I'll meet up with you later, so don't worry." Camie sadly called out for her friend once more before Macro spoke up again. "You know, Camie. We were planning on selling your friend here. Octopus fish men fetch a high price. So if you want to save him, you better hurry. Oh. For the record, we're at the Sabaody Archipelago. Five kilometers east of Grove 44. And did I fail to mention this is the Flying Fish Riders hide out? Because it is." Hachi screamed through the snail for Camie not to come, but was quickly shut up by the sounds of something hitting him. Macro chucked. "See you there."

Camie sighed in concern. "Hachi..."

Everyone had sadness in their eyes for Camie and her friend before Luffy spoke up with a smile. "So... fitters?"

"This isn't the time for that!!" Sanji, Franky and (Y/N) yelled at their captain.

"Hold on a second. Her friend on the transponder snail sounds awfully familiar to me. And they said he was an octopus fishman." Nami placed her head in her hand, shaking off the thought. (Y/N) frowned at the ginger, questioning to herself. 'There's no way this Hachi fishman could be related to the Arlong Pirates, right?'

"Sorry, Luffy-chin. But can I give you your octopus fitters some other time? It's just that I have to save my friend before it's too late." Camie innocently asked the captain. Luffy pondered his answer making Franky and Sanji hit him on his head.

Nami walked up to the mermaid. "So.. Camie. I know this might come across as meddlesome, but if you're going to rescue your friend. You don't have to do it alone. You can leave that to us. Wait, I said that wrong. What I meant is that you can leave it to them!" Franky and Usopp yelled at their navigator for her not being their boss, but were ultimately ignored as Nami continued. "In return, you can lead us to Fish-Man Island. Which is a good deal since you're probably headed back there anyway." Camie was ecstatic to hear Nami's offer. In her excitement, she questioned if they really would help. Nami was quick to ease the mermaids worries, turning to her captain for his confirmation. Luffy agreed making Camie even happier.

"You'll beat up all the bad guys for me, Luffy-chin. Really?!" Camie smiled at the thought. "And you'll save Hachi?"

"I guess, but who is this Hachi guy?"

"He runs the octopus fitter shop where I work." Camie quickly explained. "He makes the best snacks in the world, promise!"

Luffy's jaw slightly dropped. "BATTLE STATIONS MEN!!" The captain turned to his crew with determination in his eyes. "We're gonna save those octopus fitters even if it kills us!! YA HEAR ME?!"

(Y/N) facepalmed at the boys cheering for octopus snacks. The woman's attention was stolen by Camie hopping to Sunny's railing. The mermaid yelled out to the sea. "HEYY!!"

Luffy headed to Camie, leaning over Sunny's railing. "Hey. All the fish are coming up." Curious by her captain's claim, (Y/N) walked to the railing to see fish pop their heads out of the water.

"We need directions from you!!" Camie yelled out again before holding her hand up to her ear. After a few seconds, Camie turned to Luffy. "They're scared of the Flying Fish Riders, so they won't get too close but they will show us the way."

"Oh wow." Nami peaked her head between the mermaid and her captain. "I didn't know you could talk to fish. Maybe the men are right? Mermaids are really something."

"You know. If you stick around, we could eat all the fish in the worl—" Luffy was cut off by Sanji pulling his face. "Need a time out? Huh?! Watch your mouth."

(Y/N) giggled at the chef next to her. Nami questioned how the Sunny was supposed to follow fish, but Pappag smugly laughed and told her to look back to the ocean. (Y/N) was amazed to see a school of fish in an arrow shaped formation. "Now that's pretty neat." (Y/N) smiled down at the fish.

"Man. I guess fish are a lot smarter than I give them credit for." Usopp cheered for the fish drawing an arrow in the ocean by flapping their tail fins just below the water line.

"Perfect! We shouldn't have any problems following that." Nami smiled at the fish.

(Y/N) left the railing to sit on the swing. Pulling out her log book, (Y/N) heard her crew cheer for their new side adventure making her giggle before writing more logs. After a while of writing, a shadow appeared in front of the woman. (Y/N) looked up to see a certain cyborg smiling down at her. "Oh hey Franky. What's up?"

"I'm still curious, ya know." Franky crossed his arms at the woman.

(Y/N) smiled, shaking her head. "Give it up, dork. I told you already. Nothing happened."

Franky chuckled. "Alright, I will. But just so you know, I'm here if you ever want to talk."

"Of course. I'm sure we'll discuss it one day." (Y/N) winked at the cyborg before he waved her off. 'That's my dork for you. He's so caring...' (Y/N) thoughts were cut off when she saw her shirtless swordsman jumping down from the gym, drying his sweat off him with a towel. Blush kissed her face making her look down at her book. 'I'm still not over that kiss... Why couldn't he put on his shirt first?! Ugh. Stupid Zoro.' (Y/N) listen in to her crews conversation as she wrote her logs. What really caught (Y/N)'s attention was Pappag explaining the high kidnapping rates on Saboady Archipelago.

(Y/N) sighed before standing up and walking into the Aquarium Bar. (Y/N) was peacefully reading a book she got from the library when Sanji walked in. "Ah. This is where my princess ran off too."

(Y/N) smiled up at her chef. "Hello to you too, my prince."

Sanji had hearts in his eyes from the nickname, but halted himself. "Why are you hiding in here by yourself? It's unlike you."

(Y/N) softly sighed, patting the seat next to her. Sanji sat down, offering her a cig. (Y/N) thanked him, taking the cig. After the two sat in a peaceful silence, (Y/N) took a long hit on her cig. "Its because what that starfish was talking about."

"The kidnapping stuff?" Sanji looked at her with concern in his eyes.

"Mhm... Eight years, Sanji..." (Y/N) looked up to the ceiling, holding back her tears. "For eight years, my life was stolen from me. If it wasn't for Franky, I don't know where I would be right now. Apologies if I sound like a whiny bitch, but damn life has not been treating me right."

Sanji lightly chuckled. "Trust me. You're far from it."

"Thanks." (Y/N) sighed before resting her head on his shoulder. "I'm glad I have you guys. You're the reason I haven't given up on this sick and twisted world."

Sanji held his cig in his hand for a few moments. "I'm in the same boat as you." (Y/N) looked up at the cook in slight confusion. The woman giggled at Sanji's red hot face as he continued. "When I first joined the crew, I told myself if being a pirate didn't work out then I'll just sail back to the Baratie. Working out the rest of my days with the old man."

"Baratie?" (Y/N) questioned making Sanji laugh. The cook began his story, telling (Y/N) about a man named Zeff and how Zeff encouraged him to find the All Blue. "I thought that was only a legend. Does it really exist?!" (Y/N) sat upright with excitement beaming in her eyes. Sanji happily spoke about the All Blue, how it was a chef's paradise. (Y/N) smiled at the cook's enthusiasm. 'The way Sanji speaks about something he admires is truly beautiful... I could listen to this man all day.'

After their rather short conversation, (Y/N)) put out her cig before Sanji and herself left the Aquarium Bar to join the others. (Y/N) was happy to hear Brook playing the violin, but her enjoyment came to an abrupt stop when Usopp called out to everyone. "We're in trouble!!"

Camie held up her hand to her ear making Nami ask her what was wrong. "The fish said they're sorry, but they can't take us any further. They're scared."

"Wait what? Someone's here?" Luffy quickly questioned. Pappag screamed in fear about the Flying Fish Riders being here making Luffy stretch his arm to Sunny's head. The captain scanned the surrounding area. "Where? I can't see anything."

Camie quickly hopped up to the helm's deck. Nami call out to her to hide, but the mermaid was determined to inform Luffy something. Camie pointed her hand up "They're in the sky, not the sea! Look up!!"

(Y/N) looked up at the blue sky for a few seconds before she saw them. "Yeah. They're coming. And fast!" The crew watched in awe as two flying fish dove into the sea around the Sunny.

Three more flew over head making Usopp shout. "Wow! They really can fly!"

"That's awesomeee!!" Luffy stared at the flying fish in admiration.

Zoro quickly yelled up at his captain. "They're our enemy, remember?!!"

"Damn it. Attacking us head on?!" Franky yelled in frustration, Chopper added in. "They have seats and handlebars and everything!! Wow!"

"They're moving so fast too. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't even chase them down." (Y/N) irritatedly glared up at the flying fish.

The Sunny was forced off course from the Flying Fish Riders attacks. (Y/N) watched as the fish flew over the Sunny, dropping something towards the ship. "They're using bombs!" Zoro yelled out, preparing his blades.

"Bunch of jerks!" Luffy drew back his fist. The swordsman and captain sent their attacks simultaneously, successfully destroying the bombs.

The Fish Riders flew away from the Sunny making Usopp wipe the sweat off his forehead. "That was a close one."

"They're not finished! Once they're out of the water, flying fish can stay in the air up to five minutes!!" Camie shouted out making (Y/N) grab the handle of her sickles.

Her release softened when the crew watched the Fish Riders fly further away from the Sunny. (Y/N) placed her hand on her face, thinking aloud. "They're retreating? That doesn't make any sense."

"And they were the one that started the attack." Franky rubbed his chin in thought. "Weird."

"It seemed like they received a message." Robin informed her crew. "Maybe it was an order for them to retreat? I can't imagine why, though."

Luffy started yelling about how cool the flying fish and how he wanted to ride one, but his childish behavior was ignored by his crew. Sanji continued the conversation. "We're headed to their base now, so we'll see them again soon enough. We better be careful though, it might not be so easy next time. Least we know they can attack from the sea or the air."

Usopp yelled down to his crew from the helm's deck. "Hey! How about lining the deck with cannons?" Everyone turned to look up at the long nose. "Sniper Usopp will blow them out of the sky!!"

Franky grinned up at Usopp. "Good thinking bro!"

A sulking mermaid leaning over Sunny's railing on the grass deck caught (Y/N)'s eye. (Y/N) walked up to Camie and Pappag, leaning over the railing and watching the Sunny peacefully sail against the ocean waves. "Hey Camie. Pappag." (Y/N) placed her head in her hand, smiling at the ocean before her. "Just so you know, you can always count on my crew. We'll save your friend and keep you safe, 'mkay?"

Camie softly smiled. "Thank you, (Y/N)-chin." Camie hugged (Y/N)'s side making the (h/c) haired woman giggle. Pappag laughed at the two, smiling up at (Y/N). "Thanks. She really needed to hear that."

After a while of voyaging in the direction of the Flying Fish Riders base, Luffy exclaimed from where he stood, on Sunny's head. "Hey I see something!"

"From the looks of it, I bet that's the Flying Fish Riders base." Franky spoke up making (Y/N) peak over the railing to see a large multi-structure base.

Luffy reminded his crew that Hachi should be somewhere around the area. (Y/N) turned around seeing Nami placed a hand on her chin in deep thought. (Y/N) walked up to the ginger as Luffy ordered his crew to get moving. "Hey, Nami." (Y/N) softly spoke to her navigator with concern lingering in her voice. Nami broke away from her thoughts to look at (Y/N) as she continued. "I don't mean to sound nosey, but I must ask. What's on your mind? You seemed bothered by something."

Nami lightly sighed. "It's just that name, Hachi. I'm sure it's nothing, but I knew an octopus fishman from the Arlong Pirates."

(Y/N) frowned at Nami's words. "You don't think...?"

"That's the thing I've been thinking about. But look at her." Nami turned her gaze to Camie. "I can't see someone like Camie even associating with the Hachi I once knew."

"I get ya. Maybe the name is just popular amongst fishmen and merfolk?" (Y/N) lightly shrugged.

Nami giggled at the theory. "Let's hope so."

"Hold on guys! Before you go, listen up!" Camie called out to the Straw Hats making them look up at her. "Be careful out there, okay? The Macro gang have managed to capture me over thirty times already!" Usopp quickly scolded the mermaid for getting captured and eaten way too much. (Y/N) giggled at the long nose. 'He's so right though.'

As the crew approached the village, Franky spoke up. "Looks like we're about to cross over into enemy territory."

Usopp shivered in fear, placing his hand on his chest. "I think my 'can't-go-on-this-island disease is coming back."

"Well this isn't really an island." Franky crossed his arms at the village. "They just built a village on top of the water. You should be good."

"I mean in getting that 'I-shouldn't-go-to-a-village-that-someone-built-on-the-water disease!" Usopp quickly spoke back.

"Oh shush it. We'll be perfectly fine. All we need to do is grab Hachan and get out." (Y/N) sassed her long nosed crew mate. "So what if we have to beat up a few guys? It will be their funeral, not ours."

"You make it sound so easy!" Usopp cried at the smirking (h/c) haired woman.

"That's weird. Why would anyone want to set up their base way out here?" Zoro questioned aloud as the Sunny sailed into the village.

Sanji just brushed the question off before Heavy Point Chopper spoke up. "For an enemy base, it's sure quiet."

"Too quiet for my liking." (Y/N) placed her hands on her sickles, alerting herself with the surrounding area.

Usopp turned back to his captain. "Luffy! You sure about this?!"

"Go! Straight ahead!!" Luffy smiled, pointing the Sunny forward. Usopp irritatedly yelled at the boy for his lack of planning.

"HEYY!! HACHIN!! ARE YOU OKAYYY?!" Camie yelled out, followed by Pappag. "Hey Macro!! Show yourself! Give us Hachi back!!"

(Y/N) spotted a cage with a black silhouette inside. "What... is that?" The (h/c) haired woman curiously tilted her head at the cage.

"Am I seeing things or is there something in that cage?" Robin questioned back.

"What the hell? Some kind of black thing." Franky lightly scrunched up his face in confusion as Camie and Pappag popped between himself, (Y/N) and Usopp.

"Wait a second." Camie studied the silhouette for a few seconds. "Is that.. it kinda looks like Hachin."

Pappag hopped off Camie's head. "Oh wow! We're in luck, Camie. There isn't a single enemy in sight. Maybe they all decided that this is snack time or something." Camie quickly agreed with the starfish's theory.

"I can see why they get captured and eaten so many times now." (Y/N) blankly stared at the two in front of her.

"You guys can't seriously be this stupid!!" Usopp yelled at the two. "The blindest man in the world could see that this is a trap!"

(Y/N) laughed at Usopp's words as Franky spoke. "They're totally hiding out. Waiting for us to investigate, so they could ambush us."

Camie's and Pappag's eyes popped out of their skulls from shock. "What are brilliant deduction!!" Camie yelled out, followed by Pappag. "That's genius! I never would have thought of that!!"

"That's why you dumbasses keep getting caught!!" Franky yelled back.

(Y/N) sigh, shaking her head. "You guys are great and all, but damn your stupid." Camie and Pappag hung their heads in defeat from the (h/c) haired woman's words.

As the Sunny approached the cage, the silhouette spoke out. "I'm here, Camie! I'm fine! There's no need to worry, okay?!"

"Hachin! It really is you!" Camie's smile quickly dropped when she saw the octopus fishman covered in ink. Both Camie and Pappag screamed out in shocked fear, questioning Hachan why he was all black.

"Uhh.. Well they didn't do that. It's my own fault actually. Anyway, this is a trap! Get out of here before they catch you! Don't worry, I can take care of myself. I'll be okay, so just go!!" Hachan yelled back.

(Y/N) looked out at Zoro, Sanji and Nami all in deep thought. "There's something about that guy's voice that seems really familiar. You noticed it too, right?" Zoro glanced over at Nami.

"Uh huh. His shape, too. Yeah. I know who he is." Nami spoke with a hint or aggravation making it click in (Y/N)'s head. 'You have to be kidding me. Nami just told me about this guy. No way it's actually him.'

"Let's just ask him and get this over with already." Sanji turned to the fishman. "Hey you! So how's Arlong doing these days?"

"Huh?" Hachan turned to look at the cook. "Oh not so good actually. Him, Chew, Kuroobi and all the others got caught by the Navy! I was the only one who escaped! Now, I've given up my life of crime and I'm running an octopus fitter shop. Funny how time flies, right?"

Everyone stared in silence for a few moments before Luffy blankly spoke up. "Arlong?" Nami and Zoro called their captain an idiot. Memories stared to flare up in Luffy's mind making him slowly scream in shock before angrily yelling. "ITS YOU! THE DUMB SQUID WITH THE SWORDS!!" Hachan screamed in fear, claiming the crew tricked him. Luffy continued to yell at the fishman. "I'm right am I?! You were one of Arlong's crew! You're the octopus fitter guy?! What kind of crap is that?!!"

"Arlong?" Chopper questioned his crew mates.

"Yeah." Usopp spoke up with seriousness in his voice. "It was a really long time ago. Nami's hometown of Cocoyasi Village used to be under the control of a nasty bunch of fishman called the Arlong Pirates. Nami herself was an even worse situation, having to work for those jerks. And this octopus guy, Hachi, was one of Arlong's top henchmen."

Franky spoke up. "Ah.. so he's an old enemy, huh?"

"Well he was. But Luffy and I, mainly me, came along and beat the crap out of every last one of those guys!" Usopp proudly grinned making Chopper's eyes beam with admiration for his crew mate. The little doctor complimented the long nose and, of course, Usopp happily agreed with how 'amazing' he was. Usopp sighed before continuing. "After we left the village, I thought their whole crew was gonna get arrested by the Navy. But it looks like this guy left them behind and escaped."

Brook took a sip of his tea. "I see. Sounds like quite the ordeal."

(Y/N) softly sighed, placing her head in her hand in thought. 'I can't imagine what it would be like to see Archie or any of his men again. I can't help, but feel sympathy for Nami.'

(Y/N)'s thoughts were interrupted by her captain's yells. "Listen up, you dumb jerk fish! Now that we know it's you, there's no way we're gonna save you. So you better get used to that cage!" Luffy slowly dropped his fist. "But... well.. um... you know. Um.. Just asking, but are your octopus fitters is yummy as everyone says they are?"

Sanji quickly scolded the boy for thinking with his stomach. Camie smiled at the crew. "Hey! Wait a second! Does this mean you guys know Hachin? He must be like an old friend of yours or something!"

Zoro had a death aura around him as he yelled at the mermaid. "He's not our friend at all! No!!"

Camie screamed in fear from the swordsman causing (Y/N) to walk up to Zoro and smack his head. "I get why you're pissed, but don't scare the mermaid!" Zoro 'tsk'ed in response, rubbing the back of his head.

(Y/N) watched as Camie fell on her hands and fin in defeat. Usopp yelled for his crew to turn Sunny around making Camie look up to the navigator with sadness in her eyes. "Nami-chin..?"

"Sorry we can't help you." Nami placed her head in her hand as she spoke. "I know we said yes at first, but we didn't know this was the friend you were talking about."

"Oh come on! You can't just leave him like this after coming all this way!! Please!" Camie looked up at (Y/N) with tears in her eyes.

(Y/N)'a heart was stuck by the sadness in Camie's eyes. (Y/N) sighed at the situation. "I know.. but—" The woman was cut off by Hachan yelling at Camie not to worry and just leave since they were in the middle of a trap.

Camie looked away from the crew in frustration. "This sucks. Fine then! I'll have to do it! HACHIN!! YOU'RE ALWAYS SAVING ME SO NOW IS THE TIME TO RETURN THE FAVOR!!"

Camie called out of Pappag. "I'm in!" The starfish yelled out. "I never would have thought you guys would turn out to be a bunch of heartless morons!" Pappag began chanting 'morons' at the crew. Zoro yelled at the startfish to shut up before Camie and Pappag hopped on Sunny's railing. Pappag yelled again. "Just hang on, Hachi!!"

"I promise you, we won't leave this place without you!" Camie yelled out to her friend. The two dove into the ocean making Sanji yell out for them to come back.

"Just let them go." Zoro glared down at the ocean. A small frown appeared on (Y/N)'s face as Zoro turned to her. "What's up with you?"

"It's just that.. I told her she could count on us. And that we'll save her friend and keep her safe." (Y/N) lightly sighed. "But that was before I knew her Hachi was the same one Nami knew. I feel so stupid now."

"Well. You are pretty stupid." Zoro lightly grinned at the irritated expression appearing on (Y/N)'s face. "But you were also trying to comfort someone, so don't think you did the wrong thing." (Y/N)'s anger left her as she stared in awe at her swordsman's words.

Although her amazement was cut short when Camie and Pappag emerged from the ocean with three men holding onto them. "OH YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!! THAT'S JUST PATHETIC!!" (Y/N) and Usopp yelled at the scene.

The Straw Hats listened to Hachi's cries for Camie and Pappag before Sanji spoke up, anger burning through his voice. "Bastards... Camie hasn't done anything!"

"Sanji. Hold on a second, okay?" Nami held her hand up to the cook making him stop in his tracks. The crew watched Hachi bang his head against the cage in hopes to save his friends. The fishman had tears in his eyes as he called out for Camie, yet again, before going back to desperately trying to escape. Nami sighed before smirking back at her crew. "Alright. We might as well save him after all. Hachi isn't all that bad. I'll go so far as to say he's harmless. I'm not gonna hold a grudge. And besides, we promised Camie we'll help her didn't we?" Nami winked at her shocked crew mates behind her. Sanji began to sing praises for the ginger with hearts in his eyes.

"That's my girl." (Y/N) proudly smirked up at her navigator.

"Are you sure, Nami?" Usopp questioned, Zoro added in. "It's really okay?"

"Yep." Nami turned back to her captain on Sunny's head. "Right Luffy?"

"You say it's okay. It's okay." Luffy turned around with droll seeping out of his mouth. "We'll save the octopus."

"LOOK! HIS EYES ARE OCTOPUS FITTERS!!" Usopp screamed out making (Y/N) laugh.
