Stella

People say, 'Dreams Come True'

But right now, I say, 'Nightmares Come True'

I just came back from school; tired, worn out, stressed out but cool. Those allergic reactions have disappeared, fortunately. I was doing absolutely fine when my mother came to me room and exclaimed, "Stella? Come on! Get ready! We'll go shopping!" I beamed with excitement at the news. I was begond fine after hearing the news, if not incredible. After such a long time!

I got ready with my finest attire and went to the mall with such an expression you could imagine a toddler would have when their parents bought them some new toys.

I was so happy that I might have been literally radiating sunshine while entering the mall. Only to be greeted by the black cloud itself.

Fuck my life.

Why does my mom have to do everything, go everywhere with Mrs. Grayson? Just WHY? I glare at Jacob Grayson with an absolutely disgusted, annoyed, angry, could-kill-you-any-moment expression, and him being the "nice" person he is, does the same with me.

If only my mom knew what on earth this asshole did with my desk and books at school a few days back. Not to mention the milkshake incident being intentional.

Honestly, I suppose she'd just be the same and would say in that sweet voice, "Aww, you guys remind me of my teenage years!"

My mom never loses her sweetness. Unlike me.

I try being happy and excited and participate in shopping with the elders, ignoring the stupid at my tail. But of course, that's impossible.

"That's too sparkly," He remarks, at the black dress I check out. I roll my eyes and look at the others. My gaze falls upon a pink dress. "Nah, it exposes too much skin," He comments with that scrunched nose. "Who asked for your opinion?" I grunt at him angrily, and he just shrugs his shoulder and doesn't say anything. As I continue looking through the dresses, he sneers, "I just happen to have a hobby for annoying the fuck out of you and make you rage."

Someone please give me the permission to smash his pretty face right now.

"Can you stop before I punch you infront of our parents, for God's sake? Where's Jess? If she were here, at least you'd be 1% more disciplined," I ranted on. It's true, he's a little tiny bit more behaved around his sister, who's like, 3 years younger than him. "She's away at one of those cliché sleepovers you all girl's love to do, like honestly, what the fuck do you guys do sleeping together huh? Fuck each other or-"

"Will you please shut up? Or at least lower your damn voice? And ya'll emotionless freaks and jerks will never know about girls. Stop researching about girls and get a life," I hiss at him before he starts blurting more bullshit about sleepovers with friends, and quote him nicely at the end, which earns a majestic eye roll from him.

A little bit later, Mrs. Grayson and my lovely mom appears and chirps out, "Why don't you two go around the mall, hmm? We'll take some time, alright?" And they wander off, laughing like kids. How fun.

We both look at each other with nothing but hatred and roll our eyes at the same time. "Suzette, you'vehad your fair share of time with all that dress shopping. Now I get to do what I want. To the Arcade, yes!" Jacob declares and I make a crying noise and sigh in defeat. I cannot survive this shit, arghh.

The Arcade is Chaos with a C legit. And I don't know shit about what I'm supposed to do here because I never accompanied my brother to the Arcade.

The "alarming" loud beep of video games fills the air as Jacob challenges me. "Come on, Stella, give it a shot. You might surprise yourself," he smirks, gesturing toward the controller. I scoff but decide to humor him, taking the controller reluctantly.

As I fumble through the game, he leans in, "Need some help there? I can show you how it's done." I shoot him a death glare, determined not to let him see my frustration. Even though, I'm positive that it's written all over my face. "I don't need your help, Jacob. I can figure it out."

"Bet," Jacob sneers at me.

We continue our banter, my annoyance growing with every teasing comment. "You know, it's okay to admit you're not good at everything," he smirks, earning an eyeroll from me.

After the torturous gaming session, we walk through the Arcade, both of us lost in our thoughts of assassinating the the other in some way, any way. Suddenly, we stumble upon a photo booth. Jacob grins mischievously, "How about we capture this moment for eternity to recall our hatred for each other whenever we want? A snapshot of enemies forced to endure a day together."

"Of course, I'm Harry and you're Draco- oh shit but I'm a girl- uh anyway it is what it is," I rant confusingly, earning a mocking laughter from him. "But you're the blondie here, so you're Draco and I'm Harry!" Jacob points out with that smug expression. "But-"

"No buts, Suzette," He sneers at me with that broken humour, and I scoff at him.

Surprisingly, we find ourselves agreeing, if only for the absurdity of the situation. The booth flashes, freezing the 2 stupid teenages trying to demonstrate their hatred towards each other in a photo. Jacob shows his infamous middle finger while I just... L him. I'm definitely not wheezing when I look at the photos.

Receiving the Polaroids, as we roam around aimlessly, the bumper car arena presents itself before us, and our previous tension-hatred-mockery flies away as we strap into our cars. "Ready to eat my dust, Stella?" Jacob laughs, a genuine spark of excitement in his eyes. I smirk, revving up my engine, "Dream on, Jacob."

As the bumper cars collide and laughter erupts, I can't help but admit there's a strange connection between us. "You're not as terrible as I thought," Jacob teases between laughs. I chuckle, "Don't let it get to your head; it's just bumper cars."

Well, it was all good. At least we didn't send each other flying off from the cars.

After we get out of the Arcade, I notice him text someone. When he notices me looking at him with heavy suspicion, he smirks at me and basically orders, "Follow me."

- To where?

- I'll ride my girlfriend-

- YOU WHAT? GRAYSON, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING, TAKING ME TO SHOW YOU RIDE YOU GIRLFRIEND EWW WHA- oh wait... your bike... oh.

I turn red in embarrassment. Fuck my life. "God, Stella, chill out. You think I'll ever invite you to witness me fucking some-"

"Shut the fuck up and walk," I blurt out and walk faster. How could I- ARGH.

We reach the garage, and I immediately spot his girlfrie- I mean bike because that's the only bike here. "My mom will be worried when she won't find me though," I implied, as he made his way to start it. "I texted my mom saying we were as bored as the moon hanging around in the night sky, so we'll go around on my bike." He explains like excellent boy his mother thinks he is. "What if I say no?" I snap at him, making him raise his eyebrows. And then a laugh.

"You're a scaredy cat, no other explanation" He scoffs, once again displaying his weird humour AND mocking me with that with absolutely zero context. I roll my eyes and just sigh in defeat.

And then he practically throws the helmet AT me. If I didn't have excellent catching skills, I'd be laying dead right now.

"What on earth are you thinking, throwing around this heavy metallic or whatever shit it is made of at my head? Implementing murder even before the master plan?" I snarl at him. "You're right about the fact that I want you as good as dead, but you see, I know better than throwing stones at you to murder you," he rolls his eyes for the hundredth time today. So I do so as well.

Fair enough, I guess?

I put on the assumed-weapon-of-choice-for-mudering-Suzette and get on the bike, unfortunately, which is Grayson's. I hold on to the side of the seat because, well, the last thing I would do in my life is hold on to this asshole sitting infront of me.

"God, I feel bad for my girl," Jacob fake-whined and sighed, patting the bike. "Why on earth exactly?" I inquired, absolutely uninterested. "My poor baby is having to carry you, such a heavy load," He sighs and wipes away his fake tears which are invisible. My jaw drops to the ground as I look at his neck in disbelief.

The urge to snap that neck.

"You are way heavier- FUCKING HELL JACOB WHY-" I scream as he starts without even warning me, fighting to keep my balance.
When I succeed in sitting properly, I again bark at him, "Couldn't you tell me before starting?!" Jacob smirks and barks back, "The fun's just beginning, Stella!"

And I swear to god, he accelerates the speed so high after saying that, I'm pretty sure he's breaking traffic rules or whatever. "YOU ASSHOLE, COULD YOU FOR GOD'S SLOW THE FUCK DOWN?!!!" I yell out, trying to be heard through the speedy as hell rush of wind. I'm pretty damn sure I'll fall right off the bike if I hold on to the bike only. Desperate to survive, I clutch onto his jacket, which doesn't really help, but hey,  if I'm falling off, he'll fall off as well. Win-win.

And the jerk speeds up MORE.

"JACOB FUCKING GRAYSON, FUCK YOU!" I shout at the top of my lungs, unknowingly having wrapped my damn arms around his- What the fuck are those his abs I can feel? Oh fuck Stella, stop.

"GODDAMNIT SUZETTE, WHEN?! AND WHERE?!?!" Jacob yells back. I can practically feel that smirk plastered on his face. "NEVER AND NOWHERE, NOW SLOW DOWN! MOM, HELP!!!" I scream as we finish one round around the mall and pass the entrance for one nano-second.

I'm practically leaning on him. But hey, if I don't, I'll fucking die. D-I-E! And I'm too young to die now.

And I'm damn sure I can also hear those fast as hell heartbeats as I hold on to him. Fuck.

"GRAYSON, YOU SUCK!"

"SAME TO YOU SUZETTE!"
