You quickly took in his words and sprinted into the play structures with a kind of..growling? Trailing behind you. You climbed into a tunnel and down a slide, this went on for minutes like a cat and mouse chase.
"Naughty, naughty!.. You should be in bed, little one..." You heard the thing growl.
11:53.
You held your breath as you scaled the side, as the thing grabbed your foot and left deep scratches running down your ankle when you yanked it away. Blood poured onto your foot as you're suddenly reminded of the helpless feeling you had this morning, which powered your adrenaline to speed you up and run faster.
You started crying at some point, you don't remember when but the dwindling fear of being captured slowly erupted under your skin as you panicked. Your breath came out in quick huffs as you started internally shutting down as your eyesight became hazy. Time flew by as if you were gliding through water. The hazy feeling blinded you and you tripped and spinned and dwindled down the whole of fear. You breathed and breathed and breathed until the oxygen fulfilled the thirsty feeling in your chest but it sent you colors everywhere, everything becoming still, unmoved, slow.. you lost everything to fear..
Until you heard two voices fighting with eachother
"MOONY, STOP IT PLEASE!" you heard the suns voice, the oh so calming lights voice that brightened the room even when the colors are fading and the sounds are faulting,. you thought it was such a pity that the sound is of such distress
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!" It screeched as you came back to your ulterior senses and climbed into a slide, dodging being impaled by a claw yet it left a bleeding scratch running down your torso. You put your hand to it but continued squeezing your way through the kid-sized tunnels puffing as the pain became a muted sensation rattling through your bones

You stopped to catch your breath and look around, taking a sigh of relief, heaving air into your lungs. The colors faded back to normal and you calmed yourself down and almost fell to your knees before you suddenly heard a sound from above as you went stiff and slowly faced upwards.. seeing two red glowing eyes pierce through your skull
"Oh.My.FUCKING.GOD-" You screamed and ran as it came crashing down on you from above as you sprinted as much as you can. Adrenaline was like a rocket engine, speeding you through the atmosphere as you ran for your oh so dear life that has struggled to bring you through this world.

It tackled you and pinned your hands to the ground, its red eyes glowing as it wrapped a hand around your throat and squeezed so tight that air stopped flowing into your chest. Suddenly, to your relief, the lights flicked on and the sun shaped attendant was on you rather than the mysterious 'moon' one
"OH MY STARS! Sunshine are you hurt anywhere!? Oh my.. oh my.. oh my.. oh my! Im SO SO SORRY! I tried stopping him I-I really did!"
You were heaving in air as he rambled and rushed you to a first aid station, clearly panicking and treating you like a doll that may break at any given moment
He fumbled with things in a hurry and you just gently grabbed them from him and muttered "Its okay Sunny..really, I can..get it" You looked down at your torso as he saw the blood
"Sunshine! Oh my stars oh MY STARS! Thats bleeding! BLOOD! let me help you you're going to hurt yourself even more than he did! That darned moondrop!" He ranted as he set down what he was holding
Without a second thought, he was taking your shirt off, sliding it over your head with ease leaving you in only your (size) bra
"S-SUNNY-" You flustered, as pink crawled up your neck and hinted at your cheeks
He started putting rubbing alcohol on your wound and you cried out from the pain
"Take deep breaths with me sunshine! Okay! Breathe in- " He took an exaggerated breath in- "Breathe out!" He breathed out
You followed this breathing pattern with him, shoving a cloth in your mouth and biting it as hard as you could to disrupt any kind of pain
But the only odd thing was when the breathing pattern started to work
And maybe the fact that you were half naked infront of a daycare attendant.
You didn't focus on that though as Sun gently took care of your wound on your torso and ankle, you whimpered
He got out a needle and medical thread
You started breathing heavily and gripping the sides of the chair he had you in
"Are you okay?Well of course your not but just know that it'll be over soon and-" he started, but you cut him off with "Could you please just hurry up-"
He instantly nodded and calmed his shaky hands, then gently started sewing up your claw marks. You stared at him while he focused on the needle. He did it suprisingly smoothly, and before you knew it he had tied off the knot and you squeezed your eyes shut and watched the holographs fade in and out
He looked up at you, and realized the way he took your shirt off
"Oh my goodness! What has gotten into me!? Im SO SO sorry Sunshine! Ireallydidntmeantoputyouinasituationlikethis!-" you chuckled lightly at his response and replied "Its fine". You got your shirt back on and get up, tripping slightly due to the pressure on your ankle wound
Sun picked you up bridal style
"Wheres your room?" He asked, you shook your head and muttered "I have a shift until 6am, I'm a nightguard"
He stared at you for a moment "You should end your shift early since you're hurt and get to sleeping before he..comes back." you sighed and nodded at that and let him hold you, you gave him directions to your apartment in the buildings and he went inside and set you in your bed.
"Goodnight sunshine! I'll see you tomorrow!" you nodded and smiled weakly at him as he left your room
You watched him shut the door and relaxed your body. You stared at the cieling and stayed awake, but not purposefully Before you knew it, there was a click and you squeezed your covers harder as you curled under a blanket and tried drowning all the sounds and feelings out from today.
You didn't know when you fell asleep, but you sure do remember when you woke up.

You woke up at around 2 in the morning, once again, paralyzed. You looked around the room as the shadows become sharper and your senses became heightened
The shadows had long threatening claws that looked like they could slice through flesh, you saw this dismantled being in the corner of your room.
Its limbs were crossed in unordinary ways and it started crawling towards you as you desperately tried to move away from it, everything got darker and tones got deeper as you frantically tried calling out for help, but your voice giving out and just leaving you gasping for air when the pain started becoming so immense that you feel that you might snap in half.
You saw blood gushing everywhere. When you looked at your torso, the stitches were ripped open and you tried screaming once again to no prevail.
You started sobbing, trying to control your tears and calm down
You saw everything slowly fade to black before being washed over with a wave of unconscioussness

You suddenly woke up stifling a scream after realizing you were screaming, crying out from the nightmare you just experienced. You looked down at your torso to see no blood, the stitches were there and just fine
You squeezed anything that was near you and took deep breaths
You muffled your cries and put your head in your hands, shaking all over and taking a moment to calm yourself down
It was 3:30am but the lights were off, you got up and started cleaning your face from the tears
You heard steps outside your door and started shaking again
You tried not to cry, you really did but you got so overwhelmed and fell to your knees and just put your face to your hands.
There was a gentle knock at your door and you slowly walked over to it and opened it
"Uh..hel-hello?" you managed to muster out, looking at the person
The person looked you up and down before asking "You okay?-" you looked at her and replied "Why?" She looked at you in your tear stained face with your blurry eyes
"I heard a scream, and no offense- you look like you just had a panic attack"
You muttered "Something like that" And let the girl into your small apartment "You must be the new recruit, y/n right?" She smiled at you and you nodded
Her eyes flickered to your torso and back up at your
"Trouble on your first day?" You subtly nodded and took deep breaths. "I'm Nat, I'm a mechanic here 'swell" You shook Nat's hand "So uh,. why were you screaming?" You paused "I get really bad nightmares, I don't sleep very well" Nat nodded "Well I should probably get going, try to get some more sleep before your shift starts" You hummed
You waved Nat off as she left and you made your way back to your room. You layed down--again-- and tried getting some shuteye when you eventually fell into a dreamless sleep

You woke up, feeling horrible. You get dressed and ready for the day and make yourself a (Any hot drink you like), putting it in a mug, and taking it with you
Your watch still had the 'Daycare attendant checkup' message and so you headed down there to finally get that down
You didn't have enough energy to pretend liking going down the slide, so you went through the doors and made your way inside
"GOODMORNING SUNSHINE!~" Sun ran up to you and stopped, staring for a moment before saying "...Did you sleep okay?" You stared and shook your head taking a sip of your drink "You don't look well" he mumbled, to which you responded: "Great, then I look how I feel. Can I please just give you a quick checkup"
He sighed and looked at the clock then back at you defeated
"I guess so..but ..please be be gentle sunshine"
