• Bonfire
The Felicity and belly finally made it to the beach after a painful walk. Jumper notice the girls walking up to them.
" Yo. Gas station girl." Jumper called out
" Hey. Where are you coming from." Jumper asked
" Uh, a-another party." Felicity lied
" Sweet. Yeah. Hey. Here, take my beer." Jumper offers
" No, no, no. Thanks. We're okay." Felicity decline
" So, uh- you got a boyfriend back home?" Jumper asked
Belly rolled eyes
Will this boy ever take a hint
"Uh."
At that moment Felicity saw Steven walking by with a girl, she couldn't be more happy getting out of this awkward situation.
" Steven." Felicity called out to him
" What are you doing here? And I-l'm sorry what are you wearing?" Steven questions
" I invited them. Who the fuck are you?" Jumper asked trying to grab Felicity as she moves away from him
" I'm their brother. Their fifteen you pedo." Steven sneered
" My bad." Jumper says holding his hands up leaving
" Felicity, Belly." Come on." Steven said grabbing them
" What are you doing." Felicity asked
" Will let me go." Felicity said
" Steven, let us go." Belly said trying to let losse her arm
" What are you doing?" No." Steven replied

" You're embarrassing me." Steven said
" Why am I embarrassing?" Felicity asked annoyed
" Quit embarrassing yourself. are you kidding me? Steven said
Felicity yanked her arm hard from his grip losing her balance falling on the sand floor.
"Are you okay." Steven asked
Felicity slaps his hand away standing up quickly brushing of her dress and sweater. She started at the couple in front of her.
" I thought you hated the red sox." Felicity states crossing her arms
" Who are you?" Nicole asked
" Who are you?" Felicity said with a attitude
" Nicole. Conrad and I went to the deb Ball together last summer." Nicole explained
" Its after you guys left to take Steven to look at colleges." Conrad added
" I thought you said that debs ball are bullshit and all debs are sheeps." Felicity recall
" I didn't." Conrad said annoyed
" You're such a brat." Conrad sneered
" Well, your in asshole." Felicity shot back
" Felicity." Jeremiah said coming over to the group
" You came! Great, we can all hang out, you guys." Jeremiah says excitedly putting his arms around Felicity shoulders
" I'm taking her home." Steven said in disbelief
" What?"
" Yeah. We're leaving. are you kidding me.? Steven said grabbing the Felicity again
" Okay. Steven. Chill out. Come on." Jeremiah said
" Go-go hang out with Shayla or something."
" Let's go." Shayla said
" Come on."
" Fine."
" But just stay close to belly and don't talk to anybody." Steven Sternly told her
" Okay." All right. Chill."
" Fuck you." Felicity yelled out giving him her middle finger
" Wow." Jeremiah said surprised
" Listen, for once, I'm ready Happy you guys are here." Jeremiah smiles
Felicity smiles
" Jeremiah." A girl called him
" Okay. I'll be right back." Jeremiah leaves
" Now it's just you and me." Belly said smiling at her
Felicity gives Conrad one last glare walking away.
Felicity and belly are now sitting in front of the fire. A boy come up to talk to her. Felicity left going to seat by the ocean.
A few minutes of sitting alone a boy came up to Felicity
" Uh, excuse me, do you mind if I sit here." The boy asked
Felicity looked up and nodded " go ahead."
The boy sits down " I'm Grayson by the way."
I'm Felicity or Lily or Cece." Felicity introduce herself
" You can call whenever." Felicity said
" Good to know." Grayson smiles
" Are you new this summer." Felicity ask
" no, I'm from here. Are you?" Grayson asked
" No, I've been coming to cousins every since I was a baby." Felicity answered
" What?" How have we not met until now." Grayson laughs
" I would've totally remembered you."
" Yeah, I stick pretty close to home when I'm here." Felicity says
" How come?" Grayson questions
" Guess because I don't really know anybody, other than family." Felicity said
" Now you do." Grayson smiles
" Are you cold?" He asked taking of his hoodie giving it to Felicity
" Great, I'll take that of your hands." Felicity said putting it on
" Hey, did everyone see me fall before." Felicity questions
" Sort of. Yeah."
" my brother is such a dick." Felicity said rolling her eyes.
" Your brother. So, like, who are the other... The other guys you were with? Was any of them, like Your boyfriend?" Grayson asked curiosity
Felicity snorts "absolutely not."
"They're my mom's best friends sons." Felicity elaborate
" Oh, okay."
" We stay at their house every summer." Felicity says " they're just mad we're here."
" Well, I'm glad you guys came." Grayson smiled
" So, how do you know all these summer people, if you're local." Felicity questions
" my mom owns the country club. So I grew up around them. Grayson explained " that's how I met my best friend cam."
" Oh, that's sweet." Felicity said smiling
" Yup."
" Hey, do you know anything about the debutante Ball thing?" Felicity asked
" It's dumb right?"
" It's definitely like steeped in the patriarchy, it's that's what your talking about." Grayson said
" Yeah."
" But it's actually like not totally garbage. They do, a big fundraiser every year." Grayson adds
" Wow." Felicity says
" Last year, Elizabeth Warren ended up showing up." Grayson said
" Oh, my god."
" Wow."
" I know."
" That's awesome."
" I know. Thank you."
" It's pretty late... Uh
" I love sitting here talking to you. But I have to get up early in the morning because I'm interning on a whale-watching boat with cam." Grayson starts
" And it would be great if you would come." Grayson said
" I would love to come." Felicity said smiling big
Grayson smiles " can't wait."
There was sound of arguing behind them. Felicity turned around to see Conrad and jumper fighting. She rolled her eyes standing up.
" What's your problem, man." Jumper asked
" It's one beer. It's a party. Relax." Jumper said
" No, give me my beer back. I paid for this." Conrad argued
" stop. Stop."
" You're drunk. Just give him the beer back." Nicole said
" Maybe you should listen to your lady." Jumper said
" Stop. Your drunk." Nicole said
" No. I'm fine. I'm fine." Conrad slurs
" He's fine." Nicole said walking away
" He's a big man." Jumper taughts
" Fuck you, bro." Conrad yelled
" I'll be right back." Felicity said walking away
" Don't go anywhere."
" Alright." Grayson nods
" You're not taking my fucking beer, dude." Conrad said threw gritted teeth
" Relax, it's one beer." Jumper arguing back
" Yeah, and it's my fucking beer." Conrad said tucking the beer from jumper
" Come on, guys this is really stupid." Felicity said.
Felicity tries to stop the fight before getting elbow in the face by jumper. She falls to the ground holding her eye. Grayson, belly, and a curly haired boy rush towards her.
" Lily." Conrad said looking at her concerned
" What the fuck is wrong with you." Conrad asked getting push by jumper
" Are you ok?" Belly asked her sister
" I'm fine." Felicity said
" come, big man, come on." Jumper said
The two continues to push and punch at each other. Jeremiah comes over breaking the two apart.
" Cops." Someone yelled out
Everyone starts grabbing their stuff running away. Grayson helpes Felicity up holding her hand and runs with belly and the curly haired boy.
• At Jeremiah Car
" Come on. Get in the car. Watch your head." Jeremiah instructed helping Conrad in the car.
" Legs. Legs."
" Yes. I know how to get into the car." Conrad mumbled
" Jeremiah shuts the door getting in the front seat. He turns towards the twins who was outside of the car.
" Felicity, belly. Let's go. Get in." Jeremiah said
" Grayson can give us a ride home. Right gray?" Felicity asked
" Yeah, I don't mind." Grayson said
" No, you guys are not gonna get in the car with guys you just met." Jeremiah said
" I'm cam Cameron." Can introduce himself
" and I'm Grayson." Grayson also introduce himself sticking out his hand for a shake
Jeremiah annoyed Grayson hand playing attention to cam
" Your name is cam Cameron." Jeremiah sarcastically asked
" No, it's ju-just cam." Cam said
" But we actually, we know each other."
" Seventh grade. Latino convention, so, like, we're not totally strangers." Cam said
" Okay, no offense, but no. Felicity, belly. Get in the car." Jeremiah demands
" Just get in the car." Conrad grumped
Felicity rolls her eyes as belly kisses cam good bye getting in the front seat. Cam tells Grayson that his going meet him at the car.
" Uh, you should probably go. But the whaling boat that cam and I intern on, it leaves at dawn every morning for the piers." Grayson informed
" Yeah, I can give you your hoodie." Felicity said
" Yeah."
This could be my summer wish. This night. This boy.
Felicity Leans forward kissing Grayson on the lips. Grayson kiss Felicity back. They kiss for a few minutes putting away. Felicity says goodbye to Grayson getting in the back seat. Grayson shuts her door smiling at her then leaves.
Jeremiah starts the car driving off before smashing on the brakes.
" Fuck! Steven!" Jeremiah exclaim
" Watch Conrad. We're be right back." Jeremiah said as he and belly get out the car.
" I love when your hair is straight." Conrad said reaching out touch her hair.
Felicity sits there quietly listening to his words
" Lily..."
He got interrupted by a knock on the window. They both turned to a cop standing there.
" Have you kids been drinking." The cop asked
• Beach House
"Officers, thank you."
" It won't happen again, I can promise you that much." Laurel assured
" Tell Mr. Fisher the chief wants to set up a tea time when he gets back in town." The officer tells Laurel
" Absolutely."
" Sorry again for all the trouble. Have a good night officers." Laurel tells them shutting the door.
Laurel then turns to the five teens
" How can you guys be so irresponsible." Laurel asked
" Steven steps up " mom, It wasn't a big deal. All right? Seriously. The cops were just looking to break up the Bonfire."
" Not a big deal." Laurel asked
" Yes."
" I would say getting picked up by the cops for underage drinking is a pretty big deal, Steven." Laurel scoffs her son
Steven sniffs the air then scoffed " were-were you guys, you guys smoking tonight?"
" What?" Laurel questions
" Keep your voice down Susannah sleeping on the couch." Laurel tells him
" Well, I wasn't yelling. Well, you-you- you were." Steven defense said
" Just so you know, Laurel, I-l didn't drink tonight. I was the DD, I swear." Jeremiah said
" You're the oldest. What the hell gottan into you." Laurel looks at Conrad
" And when do you guys leave the house without telling anybody." Laurel now talking to the twins
" And what are you wearing." Laurel asked Belly
" It's Taylor's." Belly response holding the jacket tight to her body
" And why are am I the only ones who's not allowed to go out." Felicity said
" It's not that you're not allowed, it's that you should have told us you were going." Laurel said
" How did you get there." Laurel asked them
" We walked." Belly answers
" Jesus. You know better than to walk that far down the beach alone late at night." Laurel says disappointed
" Can you stop treating us like kids." Felicity raised her voice
" If you want to be treated like a adult, you need to act like one." Laurel yelled
" Then you should too." Conrad spoke up
" What does that mean." Laurel asked confused
Conrad shrugs and doesn't answer
" I hope you realize this night could have ended differently if your family wasn't your family." Laurel said
" We're sorry,Laur." Jeremiah apologized
" Just... Go to bed guys." Laurel sighs
Everyone started to walk away and go upstairs except Conrad. Felicity went into the kitchen grabbing a bag of frozen peas from the freezer going up stairs.
" I don't understand what's going on with you." Laurel asked concerned
" Nothing."
" Nothing's going on." Conrad said walking past Laurel.
" What? Connie."
Felicity changed back into her oversized tshirts and black shorts. She lays in bed putting the frozen peas on her eye and takes Junior mint cuddle him to her chest.
She hears two little knocks on her wall. It was Jeremiah who was in his room in bed. Felicity sat up turning to the wall knocking back twice. It's their secret way of saying good night. Jeremiah smiles.
The house was now whining down. Steven was in the bathroom brushing his teeth. Laurel in glasses setting up her Instagram account. Susannah sleeping on the couch as Conrad puts a blanket over her.
Felicity couldn't sleep so she texts Olivia. She tells her everything that happened tonight. Olivia was over the moon hearing about her night. They both texted for a while before saying goodnight.
She puts her phone on the charger on the nightstand grabbing junior mint again going to bed.
• Next Morning
The next morning Felicity wakes up seeing it's light out. She gets up putting on Grayson hoodie. Felicity already give Susannah her invite. She walks down the stairs heading to the beach.
Once there she Conrad sitting on the sand waiting for the sun to come up. She sits down next to him
" Hi. Connie." Felicity greets him with a smile
" Hi. Conrad said back
" Last night was-
" - a shit show." Conrad and Felicity say different responses
" You know you're gonna have a black eye tomorrow, right." Conrad said
" It's already tomorrow." Felicity says
" Do you remember anything that happened last night?" Felicity asked glancing at the boy " I mean you were pretty wasted.
" Conrad looked at the girl " I always remember everything when I drink."
He then pulls the cigarette from behind his ears about to light it up.
" Let me have a puff." Felicity said
" No." Conrad shake his head
" Mm-hmm."
" No. No."
" Yes."
" No."
" Laurel would actually kill me." Conrad said
" Okay. Fine."
" Then if I can't smoke then you can't." Felicity said smiling
" Same old Felicity." Conrad smiles putting the cigarette back behind his ear.
" Hey, let's go pick up some of the good muffins before everybody else gets up." Conrad said
I thought this summer was gonna be like all the other summers, but it's not.
" I actually have somewhere that I need to be." Felicity stands up
Because I won't let it be.
" Wait. Where are you going." Conrad asked
" To see about a whale." Felicity said running
back to the house.
" What does that mean." Conrad questions
Conrad watch her run away before looking back at the ocean.
