Takeda's pov
I walk up to Alex right before Ms. Goodwitch's class starts, needing to talk to him about what we saw at the White Fang meeting.
Takeda: Alex.
Alex: Yeah?
Takeda: Need to talk to you.
Alex: Alright.
We walk away from people.
Alex: Saibot?
Takeda: We need to tell Y/N.
Alex: That would make him crazy.
Takeda: We can't lie to him. He's our best friend.
Alex stays quiet for a moment.
Alex: Alright. We'll tell him.
We walk up to Y/N but before we can talk to him class starts.
Y/N's pov
We're watching as Pyrrha kicks all of team CRDL's asses. Cardin clutches his ribs while Goodwitch walks into the arena.
Goodwitch: That's the match.
Cardin: Lucky shot.
Y/N: Not lucky enough.
Goodwitch: Good work, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.
Pyrrha: Thank you, professor
Goodwitch starts tapping her scroll.
Goodwitch: Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers? Miss Belladonna? You've been rather docile the past few classes. Why don't you-
The silver haired guy raises his hand.
Silver guy: I'll do it.
Goodwitch: Mercury, is it? Well let's find you an opponent.
Mercury: I want to fight Y/N.
Y/N: Hmm?
Goodwitch: Very well. Go get your gear.
I go to the locker room and put on my gear and go to the arena. He walks in amd starts sizing me up. The spar begins and we start attacking eachother. He rushes but I knock him back. He recovers and I throw an Iceball but he deflects it and we start going back and forth. He throws a lot of attacks until I make a sheild with my ice and push him back. I go to rush him.
Mercury: I forfeit.
I quickly stop.
Y/N: What?
Mercury: What's the point you can make almost anything with your ice and you're trained well. We're obviously leauges apart.
Goodwitch: In that case... Y/N is the victor of the match.
I walk back to my group still very confused. The door to the classroom opens.
Goodwitch: Oh the new students are here.
I look and see a tarkatan, a shokan, someone who looks like Mileena and a random edenian.
Akari: They weren't supposed to be here until the tournament.
Y/N: Great. More problems.
Takeda: Y/N, me and Alex need to talk to you. Come on.
I follow them.
Y/N: Well?
Takeda: When Alex, Blake, Sun, and I were at the meeting Saibot was there.
Y/N: We're going to have to let this go for the moment. We have other things to worry about now. Like the dance we're going to.
Blake walks past.
Y/n: Speaking of there goes one of the girls I have to ask.
I walk up to her.
Y/N: Hey, Blake.
Blake: Hey.
Y/N: You wanna to the dance with me.
Blake: I'm not going.
Y/N: Oh. Alright. See you later then.
Timeskip
I walk into the ballroom to see Yang and Weiss setting everything up.
Yang: Guys, trust me Blake will be at the dance tomorrow.
She walks up to me
Yang: Hey, Y/N.
Y/N: Yeah, Yang?
Yang: I need your help.
Y/N: With what?
Yang: We're going to try to get Blake to go to the dance.
Y/N: I'll help.
Timeskip
We are hiding in the library.
Y/N: So, what's the plan.
She pulls out a laser pointer.
Y/N: There is no way that will work.
Yang: Oh really? Watch this, sweetheart.
I roll my eyes and she shines it in Blake's direction. To my suprise she follows it.
Y/N: Remind me to never doubt you again.
Yang: You got it.
She gives me a peck on the cheek and goes back to shining the laser. Blake eventually makes her way over to us.
Yang: He-lloooo.
Y/N: Hey, Blake.
Blake: What are you two...
Yang: We need to talk.
We take Blake to an empty classroom.
Blake: Yang, Y/N, if your going to tell me to stop, you may as well save your breath.
Yang sits on a desk and I stand behind her.
Y/N: We don't want you to stop; We want you to slow down.
Blake: I don't have the luxury to slow down.
Yang: It's not a luxury, it's a necessity.
Blake: The necessity is to stop Torchwick and that guy he's been working with.
Y/N: And we will.
Yang: But first you have to sit down and listen to what we have to say.
Blake sits across from us. Yang tells a story about how she found out Ruby and her didn't have the same mom. So she went off to find her with Ruby but got attacked by Grimm, getting saved by their uncle at the last second.
Yang: Y/N.
Y/N: I lived in the mountains with the Lin Kuei. I didn't know who my real father was and I wanted to meet him. So, I packed a bag put it on a sled and started pulling it down the mountains. I hadn't developed my semblance yet so I wouldn't be able to survive in the sub zero tempratures for long. I ended up almost freezing to death. If it wasn't for master Hasashi and my father I would have died.
Blake: Yang, Y/N... I'm sorry this happened this happened to you two, and I understand what you're trying to tell me, but this is different. I'm not a child, and this isn't just a search for answers! I can't just-
Yang: We told you we don't want you to stop! I haven't to this day, I still want to know what happened to my mother and why she left me, but I will never lwt that search control me. We're going to find the answers we're looking for, Blake. But if we destroy ourselves in the process, what good are we?
Blake: You don't understand! I'm the only one who can do this!
Yang: No, you don't understand! If Roman Torchwick or the other guy walked through that door, what would you do?
Blake: I'd fight them!
Y/N: You'd lose!
Yang pushes Blake back.
Blake: I can stop him!
She trys to do the same bit Yang doesn't budge.
Yang: You can't even stop me.
Yang pushes her again. I walk up to Blake and hug her.
Y/N: We aren't asking you to stop. Just please, get some rest. Not just for you, but for the people you care about.
I seperate and step back a bit.
Y/N: And if you're interested, I'll save you a dance.
Me and Yang leave.
Yang: You did great, babe.
Y/N: You did well too.
Yang: I do have a bit of a personal question.
Y/N: Go ahead.
Yang: Did you find your real dad.
I go wide eyed for a second.
Y/N: Yeah. I did.
At the dance
I walk in with Blake with our arms locked.
Blake: Care to dance?
Y/N: I have a lot of dances tonight. Better get started.
We go and dance.
Yang's pov
I see Blake and Y/N dancing. I'll get on there after her. Mercury and his team walk in with the new transfers.
Yang: You guys are just in time.
Mercury: Wouldn't miss it for the world.
Another guy with blonde hair comes in, another transfer.
???: Wow this place is a maze.
Yang: Yeah it's hard to get around gere sometimes.
Takeda walks up.
Takeda: You must be James.
They shake hands and walk off.
