Eric Crowe thought that he had seen the worst humanity had to offer after fifteen years of fighting some of the worst wars in the most dangerous environments.
And then he got shipped to The Hole, the most isolated prison humanity has to offer. They locked him and threw away the key after he got sick of seeing monsters get away with it. The United Marine Corps would rather sweep injustice under the rug than let it tarnish their record. He knew he'd get caught eventually when he took the law into his own hands, but he didn't much care.
The universe smelled better with them gone.
But all isn't as it seems at the asteroid-based UAC penitentiary. Whispers of twisted experiments conducted in the dark heart of the prison strike Eric as unlikely. But that all changes when an outbreak of unknown creatures rolls over the prison like a living, demonic tidal wave.
Now, he must do whatever it takes to survive and escape...
