Emilia was at Charlie's House about to design her room and get ready to paint it with Embry next weekend as she was going to get her paints during the week.
Charlie was downstairs with Cora who had the day off from work. The phone rang and Emilia looked at the caller ID to see Billy calling her.
"Dad!!" Emilia yells and Charlie runs up the stairs." What's wrong?!" Charlie rushes out." Billy calling, can you answer it?" Emilia asked shyly." Of course," Charlie nods and takes the phone, and answers the call." Hello Billy, it's Charlie, how can I help?" Charlie says.
"Hiya Charlie, Sam, and his fiance Niska were wondering if they could meet Emilia and get to know her. They've got Jared and Paul there," Billy says.
"Hold on, I'll ask her," Charlie says as he faces Emilia." Would you like to go and see Samuel Uley, Niska Clearwater, and his friends?" Charlie asks Emilia."I'd love to if they are okay with it?" Emilia says shyly.
Charlie nods," She'd love to," Charlie tells him." Would you like to drop her off there and she can come stay with Jake and Embry at my house tonight," Billy says.
"Sure, see you in a bit," Charlie says hanging up." Go and get your bag together Emilia as you can stay with Jake and Embry tonight after you've seen Sam, Niska, and his friends," Charlie tells her. Emilia nods," You're okay with me going to the boys' house?" Emilia wonders.
"I trust Jake and Embry to look after you, and Sam and His fiance are lovely people, Paul has a temper but he means no harm. Jared is a goofball so you'll be fine," Charlie says with a smile.
"Embry gonna help with the bedroom next weekend can he stay save him going home?" Emilia wonders." Sure, but on the sofa," Charlie says with a look." Thanks, Dad," Emilia says shyly.
Charlie takes Emilia down to the rez and straight to Sam's house." Right, I will see you tomorrow night, be good and any problems call me or Cora," Charlie says with a smile." I will bye Dad," Emilia says with a smile and hugs him goodbye.
Sam exits the house," Hi Emilia, Hi Charlie," Sam waves." Hi Sam, look after her please and can you or the boys escort her to Billy's home where she is staying the night?" Charlie asks.
"I'll take her myself sir, she's safe here I promise," Sam says putting his hand on Emilia's shoulder.
"Thank you," Charlie says and shakes Sam's hand." See you later Emilia, any problems call us," Charlie says before leaving.
"Are you hungry? We're about to have lunch?" Sam asks with a smile." I could eat?" Emilia shrugs. Sam leads Emilia inside where Paul, Jared, and Niska are." Hi again," Emilia waves hello." Hey, do you want a cake or a sandwich I'm happy to do that for you," Niska says with a smile.
"I'll have a sandwich, please thank you, Niska," Emilia says shyly." You got it, any sort or?" Niska nods." Cheese please," Emilia says.
Niska nods and gets on with doing lunch for the pack and Emilia." So the Cullens or any vampire causes you guys to shift?" Emilia wonders.
"Yeah, when there is a threat roaming around the town and the reservation," Sam nods." So who phased first?" Emilia asked."Me then Niska and a few months later Jared did and then Paul," Sam tells Emilia.
"Can I draw one of you after lunch?" Emilia asked." I assume by that you mean one of our wolves?" Paul says with a grin.
"Please? I promise to make you look fluffy and cute," Emilia says with a bright smile." Hey, I'm not fluffy!" Paul pouts.
"Yes you are, you all are," Emilia giggles brightly." Cheeky madam," Jared chuckles." How are you liking Forks and the rez?" Sam asks as Niska brings their food over.
"They feel like home, ever since my mom Reene told me that we could be moving here 9 months ago I've been having dreams and a voice in my head but I'd rather not talk about it," Emilia says shyly as she eats her sandwich.
Sam looks at Niska with a look," You don't have to tell us but know we are here and so are Billy, and your dad's other friends Harry Clearwater and Old Quill Alteara," Niska says softly touching Emilia's shoulder.
"But. All we ask of you is don't say anything to Bella, your dad, Cora, Jake, and Embry as we don't let outsiders know anything unless they become a part of the pack," Sam says softly." I understand, I'd never say anything. I'm good with secrets," Emilia says shyly.
"We know sweetie," Niska says with a smile."But why did you tell me? I'm not like you?" Emilia says shyly." Not important, we'll tell you soon," Sam says with a smile. Emilia nods in understanding and finishes her lunch." Can I draw you?" Emilia asked looking at Paul.
"Sure thing, but stay here and I'll phase and huff to let you know I'm ready as I could hurt you," Paul tells her."Okay, I need to get my drawing pads out first so go for it," Emilia smiles.
Paul heads out and phases as Emilia grabs her drawing pads. Paul huffs in readiness and Sam checks, "He's ready for you to go and draw him," Sam says with a smile. Emilia heads out to see a sliver wolf standing there," Hi Paul," Emilia says with a smile.
Paul huffs in response and Emilia begins to draw him and Niska comes out to sit with her." So why don't you call Reene, mom? Just out of interest?" Niska wonders." She's never felt like a mom, we've not bonded like her and Bella," Emilia sadly admits.
Niska softly puts her hand on Emilia's shoulder in comfort," Charlie is my dad never knew till I came here, so it's hard for me to forgive her on that," Emilia says as she draws Paul," You're an amazing artist," Niska notes.
"Thanks, I'm all done now Paul thank you," Emilia says with a smile. Paul stands up and turns away," Can I pet you?" Emilia wonders.
Paul nods and Emilia makes her way over and pets Paul softly."This is so cool, I love this, thank you for showing me," Emilia says with a bright smile."You're welcome," Sam says with a smile.
"I best get to Billy's house as Embry there and I'd like to see him," Emilia says with a smile." Hop on Paul's Back and we'll take you there," Sam says with a smile.
Jared brought out Emilia's bag and hugged Emilia goodbye." Want help climbing up?" Niska asks." No, I got it, thanks," Emilia says jumping up and getting onto Paul's back as Sam walks alongside them.
"You seem to like Embry why?" Sam asked." He's nice, shy but nice, something telling me he'd be good to keep around," Emilia smiles." Are you and Embry related?" Emilia wonders." Not that I know too? Why?" Sam asks."You look similar that's all," Emilia says.
Sam gets Emilia off Paul as they reach Billy's yard and Sam sends Paul on his way. Embry makes his way out to her," Hi Emilia," Embry says with a smile, and Emilia runs and hugs Embry." Hey you, are you okay?" Emilia asked shyly." I'm okay sweetie," Embry says with a smile.
"Hi Sam good to see you," Embry says with a nod." And you Embry, is Billy around?" Sam wonders."Yeah, he's in the house," Embry nods." Shall we go a watch a movie with Jake and Quil?" Embry says with a smile.
Emilia nods and takes Embry's hand and waves goodbye to Sam and they head off to Jake's den. Emilia and Embry enter the den and Jake and Quil stand up to greet Emilia," Hi Emilia, I'm Quil," Quil says with a smile." Hi, nice to meet you," Emilia says shyly.
"How was it down Sam's?"Embry wonders."Nice the boys are funny, Niska is very lovely," Emilia says shyly as Embry holds her. A knock on the door disturbed them," Hi Sam, can we help?" Jacob asks as Embry covers Emilia from Sam.
"Just came to say goodbye to Emilia, See you around Emilia," Sam waves." Bye Sam, tell Niska, Jared, and Paul I said bye," Emilia says shyly waving goodbye.
Sam leaves and Embry smiles at Emilia," Want to play a video game or watch a movie with the boys and me?" Embry says with a smile." We can do both I'm here all night so why not do both?" Emilia says with a smile.
Jake sets up Mario Kart and Embry and Emilia teamed up against Quil and Jake. Emilia was snuggled into Embry's arms as they watched the movie. Jake puts a blanket over them and retires to his bed as Quil falls asleep on the floor.
