Earlier before

Right after dinner, Yongbok brought along Haerin to sit down with his parents by the living room as he had something to discuss with them and Haerin being there hopefully could give him the calmness to talk.

Now that the family settled down with drinks and snacks on the table, Yongbok and Haerin looked at each other before she just nodded at him with a smile, reflecting that everything's going to be okay now that she's here with him.

"You okay Yongbok?" His mother asked his son calmly while his father just silently enjoying the snacks on the table. "...wait don't tell me? Are you two...?" Yongbok immediately raised his hands along with Haerin as well. "No- No no no mom we're not here to talk about that... Wait, you're talking about marriage isn't it?" Yongbok asked his mother back who just nodded calmly. "Okay then no, it's not about that. It's too early for that okay? Haerin's still studying as well..."

"Then what is it you wanted to talk about now?" His father then asked as Yongbok just gulped deeply before breathing out silently. "I want to talk about my future... about what I want to do for myself..." Yongbok found it hard to talk properly before Haerin gently got her hand on his, intertwining their fingers together under the table.

"...I want to talk about the things that I want to do. I know I've been saying I'm still figuring things out many times to you two before but actually, my mind's been made up long time ago..." Yongbok confessed to his parents. "...I just didn't have enough courage to tell you guys about it."

"Why would you feel that way Yongbok? You know that we will always hear you out and try to understand your needs and ideas right?" Yongbok's mother calm reply made his heart felt a bit at ease but still nervous at some point. "...so what's your decision? What do you plan on doing after this?"

"I want to do modelling..." Then Yongbok tightened the grip on Haerin's hand as she's caressing his hand gently with her other hand trying to ease him a little bit after confessing to his parents.

"Modelling? You mean like those people who walk back and forth in straight line with different fancy clothes or some sort?" Expected his father would be all disappointed and all that, his tone somehow sounded curious and a stint of excitement.

"Kind of, also the ones on those magazines front covers and all those people posing for brands and stuffs. I've been having interest on it ever since high school..." Yongbok explained more to his parents just as sound of footsteps were approaching their direction.

They were interrupted when you and Hanni walked by before you and her gave them a bow. "We're going out for a walk..." You told them before taking your leave. "Look at those two love birds... You should take Haerin out for a walk too sometimes okay?" Her mother turned her attention back to her son and Haerin who had this stint of blush on her cheeks as she's chuckling softly.

"Anyway, if modelling is what you wanted to do then certainly we have no objection on it whatsoever right?" His mother turned to her husband who just nodded his head. "...what's been holding you back my dear boy?"

"It's just..." Yongbok breathed in before exhaling. "...I wanted to do modelling back home in Korea." Yongbok finally told his desire and suddenly the room went quiet for a short while as Haerin had to hold Yongbok's shaky hand with both her hands.

"I mean I understand that it's difficult and I'm sure I will not be pushing if it means to bring hardship to you two. But I just wanted to tell you this as I don't think I can keep it in me any more longer. And I'm sorry as well." Showing his maturity, Haerin looked at his side profile with a proud smile.

"Have you auditioned already then?" His father broke the silence as Yongbok glanced over to them. "I-I haven't actually, auditons are usually open at the start of the new year usually..." Yongbok explained as his parents looked at each other before nodding.

"Okay then we'll go back home next year." His father told the family as Yongbok was definitely surprised. "No, dad wait a minute, what about your job?" Yongbok asked as worries began flooding his mind. "...You don't have to do that dad, it's okay..."

"Nothing makes a parents happier than seeing their children achieving their dreams and being happy along with it." Yongbok's dad replied as his mother just nodded with a smile. "That goes for our family as well okay? Your dad and I always wants the best for you..."

"...you're our only son yet you've matured at such a young age, you didn't skip school, you didn't make troubles, you made friends with good people and now you're with Haerin, someone who's the complete opposite of who you are yet she completes your traits." His mother continued as Yongbok's getting teary just by hearing her mother's soothing voice.

"Beside. You got your father's handsome face so you'll have no difficulties in your auditions later..." And everyone shared a laugh. "...I'm sure Haerin's agreed with me now do you?" Haerin could only chuckled awkwardly as she just nodded her head.

"He is good looking. Like his parents." Haerin replied as Yongbok looked over to her with a smile. "Don't worry too much about it okay Yongbok. We'll fully support you and your dream. Just make sure to do your very best okay?" Yongbok then went over and gave his parents a hug while thanking them.

As their discussion came to an end, Haerin and Yongbok made their way upstairs while holding hands until the two made their way to Yongbok's door before he calmly wrapped his arm around her. "Thank you for being there with me. You being there calms me down every time."

"I'm glad that your parents are being supportive. I'm happy for you Yongbokie~" Her arms wrapped safely around his waist as he's caressing her back softly. "Keep cheering me okay? And when I finally make it, I will take you to Paris, I promise you."

"And I believe you will. But for now just stay with me here and I'm already the happiest girl alive." She whispered as Yongbok gave her a kiss on her cheek. "Let's enjoy our day out tomorrow okay?"

"You know I will~ Good night." She whispered with a smile before she gladly gave him a soft peck on the lips. "Good night." He gave her a wave as Haerin made her way to their room and walked in. "How did it go?" Minji who's laying down on their bed, asked as she saw Haerin walking in.

"Everything went well. His parents are very supportive." Haerin then climbed onto their bed, got herself comfortable under the blanket next to Minji. "They said that they'll come back to Korea next year. Can you believe it? They even said that they only want Yongbok to be happy and be able to achieve his dream..."

"That sounds really like his parents. Yongbok's parents were always supportive of him, that's why he grew up a gentleman and cares a lot about the people around him." Minji was not that surprised with the result of their discussion before her got a notification on her phone.

Haerin took a quick glance at Minji next to her, being all smiley while her fingers typing on her phone and it got her thinking about... "Boyfriend...?" Haerin asked with a light smile at Minji who just looked at her with a snicker before shaking her head.

"Just an old friend. Now we got the chance to talk back again and..." Minji then stared at a photo on her phone screen with a light smile. "...I don't know. Somehow I felt like I'm back to the old me a few years ago but this time, accepting things as it is."

"Can I see?" Haerin asked nicely as Minji just showed him the picture of a man apparently standing in front of a tall building with a smile on his face. "He kinda looks like a fox... Your friend from your hometown?"

"Yeah I thought that as well and yeah he's an old friend of mine... Yang Jeongin..." Minji's smile was sincere as she said his name, signifying that not only did she made peace with everything that happened between her and Jeongin but the fact that she was strong enough to forgive and somehow managed to safe the friendship between them definitely showed how much she has grown and matured over the past years.

As the next morning came by, Hanni already got herself a nice warm shower early while Haerin was still in calm slumber and Minji was taking a morning walk with Yongbok earlier. Seeing that her friend was still deep in sleep, Hanni then got her hair dried in front of the mirror after getting dressed comfortably.

After done with her hair tied down into twin pigtails, she got her concealer and foundation as she's calmly applying it on a certain spot by the side of her neck, covering a quiet noticeable mark that wasn't there till last night...

"Where's Minji, Pham Pham?" Hanni heard Haerin's soft hoarse voice as she looked over to her friend who's already sitting up on the bed with her eyes still closed shut. "Taking her usual morning walk with Yongbok and his parents. They should be back real soon." Hanni told her friend who just nodded her head as she's getting off the bed and slowly made her way to the washroom.

As soon as she's done blending the foundation into her skin tone, Hanni walked out from their room and immediately walked over to the room next to theirs and calmly walked in on you drying your hair with a towel while sitting on the edge of your bed. Topless.

"Did you leave the door unlocked on purpose? Just so I would walk in here with this view of you?" Hanni had this teasing smirk on her face as she closed the door before locking it, making you chuckled while continuing drying your hair.

"I was in the washroom when you walked out the room before and I forgot that it was unlocked." Hanni just let out a snicker as she went over to you and took over the towel and helped you drying out your hair fully. As she got the towel off your head, she noticed the same kind of mark she had on her neck but it was on your left shoulder blade area.

"Maybe I would suggest wearing a shirt that can hide this... I won't recommend wearing a tank top to be honest..." She brushed her thumb on the mark softly as it sent shivers down your spine. "Will do Miss Cherry Pham." You whispered as you stood up before giving her a quick kiss on her lips then getting a shirt from your closet and wore it over your top.

"Let's have breakfast downstairs." You said as you're closing the closet while Hanni's getting her phone case off before walking over to you. "I forgot to give this to you yesterday..." She then handed you a polaroid photo which you gladly accepted.

A wide smile and a chuckle escaped your lips as you're looking at her picture in polaroid. "That's actually my first try that night I got the camera." She proudly said as you nodded your head in amazement. "Beautiful." You said confidently as she just smacked your chest playfully with her cheeks were blushed lightly.

"Remind me to take your picture for me later." You nodded at her request as you placed the polaroid photo in the back of your phone case before you two made your way downstairs and apparently Minji and Yongbok already got back and Haerin's already joined them by the kitchen while Yongbok was preparing breakfast.

"What are you making?" You walked over to Yongbok who's grilling meat over the stove. "Beef Cheesesteak, kind of..." Yongbok explained as the smell of the grilled meat was mouth-watering. "I'll make more for them after this..." You volunteered as Yongbok's preparing his breakfast on a plate before getting it over to the microwave to melt the cheese.

Then you continued what Yongbok had left and began grilling another set of meats while Hanni's by the table beside where you're standing, sitting up with her chin rested on top of one of her palm and her eyes couldn't leave your sight with smiles were stuck on her face.

Minji wouldn't let the opportunity walk away as she nudged Haerin's arm gently, gaining her attention before Minji pointed her lips over at Hanni then the two of them shared a giggle together at the way Hanni was obviously heads over heels towards you.

"What..." Hanni then noticed her two friend at the side before they just shook their heads but with teasing smirks on their face. "Nothing Love bird..." Minji had this teasing tone, earning a whine from Hanni while you glanced over at them without knowing the context then continued with preparing their breakfast.

As Yongbok and Haerin already started eating their breakfasts, you finally got the breakfast done and ready as you brought the plates over to the table for both you and Hanni and also for Minji as well.

"How is it?" You asked Minji who take a first bite as she just gave a thumbs up with a hum. "The meat's great." She complimented your cooking as Hanni immediately took a careful bite slowly as the food's still hot. Instantly her usual squeals upon eating delicious foods came as it eased your heart by a lot.

"This is really good. The cheese fits perfectly with the meat." Hanni complimented your cooking and it warmed your heart to hear it from her before you settled down next to her and Hanni immediately took the initiative and fed you with some of the food before you chuckled to yourself. "It is pretty good."

"I'll make some more." You were about to stand up before Hanni held onto your arm as she shook her head while she's chewing her food. "I'll make the next batch, you sit here and eat your breakfast." She said with her mouth full, making you smiled at her silliness before nodding your head.

Hanni then happily got over to the grill and along with Minji helping, the two easily made another batch of cheesesteaks sandwiches before Hanni gave a few to Yongbok for him and Haerin and also for Yongbok's parents outside.

"Where do you guys want to go today?" Yongbok then asked after their breakfast regarding their plans for today. "The weather's great as well. We can do park; we can do beach or just sightseeing over at the city."

"Why don't we let Minji decides for today?" Hanni suggested as the rest of them gave Minji a look, waiting for an answer from her. "Let's go to the beach and sightseeing the city then." Minji gave her answer and it's decided.

"Okay, we'll be on our way by two in the afternoon later. Everyone okay with that?" Yongbok asked as the others nodded in union. "I'll do the dishes today." You rolled up your sleeves as you then made your way to the kitchen sink.

And shortly after, Hanni joined you by your side. "I'll help~" She said happily before she's getting her hands into the rubber gloves and in no time, she's doing the dishes diligently with you rinsing the ones she had cleaned.

"Last night was amazing wasn't it?" Hanni calmly whispered without looking at you and instantly your head was filled with the memories of last night and you could only chuckle in embarrassment. "I love how gentle you were last night, I'll just let that out of the bush." She continued with a snicker to herself.

"Did you covered it... the mark on your neck." You glanced over at her neck from the side as you remembered clearly where she had that mark on her neck before Hanni just nodded her head. "Nothing a concealer couldn't take care of."

"I won't mind getting another by the way..." Her whisper came into your ears rather teasingly before her chuckle followed through then she handed you the rest of the utensils to rinse before you two finished doing the dishes. "...I should stop teasing you. I want to continue reading my poem book by the way before we head out for the beach later."

"I also need to finish those reports and paperwork from last night." You let out a sigh as you and Hanni were walking up the stairs before she gave your cheek a kiss. "I'm here with you okay? So you don't have to stress yourself too much. If you're stress just tell me and I will make them go away."

"I know, I'm happy that you're here, I really am." Hanni and shared a snicker before getting back into your room and Hanni playfully plunged herself onto the bed before fetching the poem book you wrote for her at the far end. "Let's see... where did I last read last night... here it is." She flipped over to a new page right after the last one she read last night.

"I would say that I love you
more than you could ever imagine,
but I don't want that.

I want you to know.
I want you to feel the strength of this love
in a way that you don't even need to ponder

And if you let me, I will spend my life
dedicating my life into proving my love
for you

Filling your heart with warmth,
bringing peace into your thoughts,
building you a home in my arms,

so that one day
you know for sure how much I love you
only if you ever let me to."

"I want to have all the little things.
Like our shoes being next to each other
by the front door.

Our toothbrushes sitting together
in a cup they call home.
Our mugs next to each other by the kitchen
cabinet.

I want all the little things
But I want them all with you Hanni."

"I never knew a feeling could
reach so deep into my soul
until that moment by the camp fire
when you smiled at me"

As Hanni continued reading out the poems you've written with this calming yet so well-spoken voice, your poetic soul was being blessed in every word she's saying. "I thought writing poems was the most beautiful thing I could possibly experience in my life time..." You said calmy as you're sitting at the edge of the bed, gaining her attention. "...but I'm wrong. Hearing you reading out the poems I've written is without doubt the most beautiful thing that I get to experience in my life and I'm so glad that it's you of all people..."

"You're a softie for me aren't you?" She whispered in this teasing manner and you couldn't help but nodding to that. "God I'm feeling so poetic right now..." You heaved out and immediately Hanni's getting excited just by hearing that as she scooted over and sat down next to you. "Am I getting another beautiful poem from you baby~?" She had her arms wrapped around your waist as her head resting on your shoulder

"Yeah. Right now every poem that's coming out of my mouth will always be for you because in every great poet, he has his own muse and I'm no great poet but doesn't matter because you're my muse since the very first moment I wrote my own poem years ago. And it will never change." You looked over to her as she looked up to you, smiling so calmly. "Let me hear it then... Another beautiful poem from you honey..." She whispered as she locked eyes with yours

"Hanni, when people are in love, often they would say that they simply just fell and tripped over their own two feet, face facing forward and into the arms of their beloved. For me, I did more than simply falling onto the ground of your love. Hanni, for me you're an ocean and I dived in head first, almost painfully into the waters of you..." You had your thumb brushing over her soft cheeks as your eyes couldn't leave hers.

"...I knew that I couldn't swim but I dived in anyway. I was drowning, entangled, surrounded by this being of you, engulfed in this feeling of you. Even though I didn't know what came into me but I just let myself drown..." Then you gently rested your forehead on hers as your lips from hers were just a nudge away from crashing against each other. "...I didn't even try to swim back up because if I went back up, back to land, releasing myself from your grasp, that would mean losing this precious feeling of you. How could I ever leave? Right after submerging myself, diving myself into the depths of your love and the passion of your soul... How could I leave Hanni?"

"Then don't..." She whispered before her eyes closed and her lips imminently crashed onto yours, every seconds passed, her kiss slowly deepened as her arms slowly wrapped around your neck before she let herself slowly laying down flat on the bed while you're carefully maneuvering yourself on top of her. Not even wanting to stop, Hanni eventually had to break the kiss to catch herself some breath.

She just chuckled softly in between her soft panting. "Even to this day... I still remember the butterflies I had in my stomach when we're back at Jeju last year. Those butterflies, I remember them so clearly, so vividly..." Hanni gave your cheek a gentle caress as you're closing your eyes and letting your face engulfed in her warm soft touch. "...it's because I still get them to this day. I still get the butterflies even now."

"I adore you too much Hanni..." You had your head resting gently against her beating chest and just by feeling her calm heartbeat, made you smiled softly knowing that if she found her safe space in your arms, you found yours in her heart, beating calmly with your presence around her.

"I need to do my works now love." You whispered before planting a kiss on her forehead. "or else I won't be able to get back home you know..." Your statement made her gasp before she's patting your chest a few times. "Alright get on with it sir, come on, come on, come on~" She slowly sat herself up before you silently chuckled before got to your table and Hanni went on and lay down on your bed to get some rest.

I'm m sorry this chapter is rather slow and less fluffy in my opinion but I recently got writer's block and didn't know what to write for the whole two days before I came up with this.

I apologize beforehand 🙏

Leave a vote and comments(?) maybe, I would love to read your comments. It'll motivate me to write more, it really does.

Loves lot ❤
