The rain cleared as quick as it began, allowing (Y/N) to 'put away' her air umbrella and go back to clinging to Robin's arm. The group walked up to a side door to the mansion. "Helllooo? Nobody's there, I'm going in!" Luffy tried to open the door.
"Hey. Give them a minute!" Sanji irritatedly yelled at his captain.
"Oh it's locked. Huh."
"Welp! I guess that means no haunted mansions for us... today..." (Y/N) looked defeated as Luffy drew back his fist a few inches before punching a hole through the wall. (Y/N) sulked at her captain's actions as the door slowly opened.
"Hey! Now it opens." Luffy smiled as he pushed the rest of the door open.
"Yeah since you smashed the lock off." Zoro sassed as the group walked inside.
"GECKO MORIAAA!! I'M HERE TO KICK YOUR ASS!!" Luffy yelled out to the empty room.
Franky put his hands on his hips in thought as he looked at the room before him. "Pretty creepy looking entry way."
"Hm. This doesn't look so bad. Well besides all the creepy paintings on the wall." (Y/N) sighed in some what relief before letting go of Robin.
"Doesn't look like anybody's here." Zoro stated to his crew mates.
"Would it be rude if I took some photos?" (Y/N) questioned aloud to her crew mates.
"Nah. They're the ones that took our friends, so they've been plenty rude themselves." Franky shrugged at the (h/c) haired woman. (Y/N) shrugged back with a smile on her face before taking out her vision dial and snapping photos around the room.
"HEY!! Any monsters in here?!! Gecko Moria!!!" Luffy screamed out as the group began walking.
Zoro looked around the room. "Shouldn't there be a servant around here? They gotta have tons of them in a mansion this size."
"And what's with the mess?" Sanji pointed out the broken dinning table on the ground. "They have a fight in here or what? They better not have hurt Nami."
(Y/N) was photographing some paintings when the group heard a sinister laugh above them. The (h/c) haired woman turned back to see a mounted pig's head on the wall talking to her group. "You're quite auditions, aren't you? Those who know our master usually know to fear him."
"Huh. Why is there a pig sticking out of the wall?" Luffy questioned the talking pig.
"Oh we have many surprises yet to come. Why don't you say we welcome our guests, gentlemen?!"
(Y/N) screamed in fear at the painting in front of her leaping out of its frame. "WHAT THE HELL?!!!" The (h/c) haired woman fell on her ass, shaking in fear from the creature above her.
"Well. That's great. Are these paintings zombies, too?" Sanji calmly said, looking up at the creatures
"That's certainly what it looks like." Robin studied the creature around her. "After all we've seen on this island, we should expect this sort of thing by now." Robin looked over at the (h/c) haired woman trembling in fear. "Cook. (Y/N) may need your help."
Sanji angrily turned to the painting looming over (Y/N). The cook ran at it and kicked it straight in the face. "I'll only ask this once. WHERE DID YOU HIDE NAMI?!!" After slamming the painting back to the portrait it came from, Sanji held the trembling (Y/N) in his arms. "Stay put. We'll deal with these guys quickly."
(Y/N) looked up at the cook, shaking her head. "I-I'll be fine. I can help." The (h/c) haired woman stood up with Sanji's help, still trembling from the scene before her. (Y/N) took out her sickles, closing her eyes tightly. "I can't be afraid... not if I'm going to protect my friends." The woman sighed deeply before opening her eyes quickly, anger burning through them. (Y/N) began to slice paintings mercilessly to the point the zombies began to coward in fear from the deadly creature they've created.
"Again. She can do some pretty badass stuff when she's scared." Franky smiled at his killing machine crew mate as he smashed a painting's head in.
Eventually the crew successfully defeated every zombie in sight. "I hated every minute of that." (Y/N) sheepishly said, rubbing her goosebumps off her arms.
Luffy giggled at (Y/N) before turning back to the defeated paintings. "Well that takes care of that."
"Hold on. Not yet." Franky brought everyone's attention back to the mounted pig. "Still got this little piggy up there." The pig nervously chuckles at the group before him.
The group looked over at (Y/N). "What? Oh... I hate you all." The (h/c) haired woman sighed before flying up to the scared pig. It was about to speak to her, but (Y/N) put her right sickle up to its face. "Don't. I hate the fact that you exist, let alone talk." The pig didn't say another word as (Y/N) grabbed it off the wall and flew back down with it. Placing the pig in front of the group.
The crew stared down the pig for a few seconds, allowing it to speak. "Uh... Oh those three friends of yours? We fed them, bathed them and gave them a warm bed to sleep in. Good news, right? We're all friends!"
"Like we're gonna fall for that." Franky sassed the pig.
"NOO!! I swear I'm not lying to youu!" The pig pointed at the staircase next to them. "Why don't you go see for yourself! Right up those stairs, go ahead!! Hehehe."
"Hm.." Franky looked around the room. "Hold on. Something's wrong here." Everyone looked around as well. "Didn't you notice? Our chef is missing."
"Huh. He was just here a second ago." Luffy looked over at the defeated paintings. "Any of you zombie guys see where he went?"
They all began to evilly giggle at the crew. One of them even whispered for the others to stop since they could hear their laughter. "Hm." Zoro shook his head at the thought. "They must have nabbed him and taken him away when we weren't looking. Goodbye, Sanji. Rest in Peace."
"That ain't cool." Franky scolded the swordsman.
"Oh stop it. He's not dead. I'm sure of it." (Y/N) smacked the back of the swordsman's head.
"Eh. No biggy. It's Sanji, I'm with (Y/N) on this one. He's gonna be fine." Luffy shrugged off Sanji's whereabouts.
"Maybe. But I'm worried about the other three." Robin spoke up. "If the zombies were able to kidnap Sanji so easily, I'm sure they're in a lot of trouble right now."
The pig laughed at the remaining Straw Hats in front of him. "You're not so strong. The truth of the matter is you hardly even put a dent in our numbers."
"Ohh?" Franky questioned the pig as the group turned to face him.
"You, on the other hand, just lost one of your key fighters. I wonder who's next." The pig cockily crossed his arms.
"At any rate." Robin brought everyone's attention back on her. "Let's be careful and try to stick together from now on."
"Admit it! You're scared!! You don't stand a chance..."
Robin talked over the pigs taunts. "I suppose we could threaten him, but even if we did. I doubt he would tell us where they are."
"Fine. We'll just drag him with us and use his as a guide." Zoro blankly said, looking back at the shocked pig.
The paintings laughed before telling the pig to guide them. "Go ahead. If you want to die so badly, then challenge our master. It's your funeral. He's so frightening, I can't speak his name. But here, let me try. Gecko Mori— AHHH. Just as I thought, it's too scary! That's right! He's one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, ya know? Those missing friends of yours are probably dead or even worse. Consider yourself lucky that you've lost so few. I've save my own skin if I were you. If you face Gecko Mori— I mean.. If you face our master, none of you will survive. You do well to leave before you encore his wrath."
Luffy started to slowly walk towards the paintings. "Sorry, but I don't take advice from paintings. You want to help, give a message to that stupid master of yours." The captain crushed a piece of wood under in foot, staring down the scared zombies. "Tell him if he lays a single finger on any of my friends, I'll kick his ass so hard this whole island will split in half."
The zombies screamed in fear from the captain's statement. (Y/N) felt a grin on her face, but it vanished when she saw Luffy picking his nose as he spoke up again. "Sanji's fine. Even if he's alone, it's not like he's just gonna roll over and die. Come on guys." (Y/N) sighed at her captain's actions before walking along side her group.
Franky picked up the mounted pig, throwing it over his shoulder. "Hold on! You're not really taking me along, are you? Say something, you guys!!"
The five walked up the stairs and into the hall above them. After a while of walking down the long hallway, Franky thought aloud. "I bet that old guy was right. Moria has been watching us this whole time. We gotta keep our eyes peeled for traps or we'll end up like our cook. We're already missing half our damn crew. Wouldn't surprise me if Moria was trying to split us up." The pig giggled at the cyborg's theory.
"Probably just Sanji's fault. He is pretty dumb." Zoro sassed the group. (Y/N) rolled her eyes at Zoro's comment before snapping another photo as the swordsman continued. "Still. Can't believe we found one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea out here."
"My question is, what are we gonna do if one of our shadows get stolen?" Franky spoke his concerns to the group.
Robin looked over at the pig beside her. "Well that would be interesting."
"Don't look at me, I'm not squealing!!"
"I know I promised that old guy I'll beat up Moria, but maybe that should be second on the list. Gotta look out for my crew first." Luffy looked back towards the (h/c) haired woman behind the group, hanging back a bit to take a picture of a statue. "Hurry up, (Y/N). We're in a haunted mansion, remember?"
A chill went down (Y/N)'s spine as she jogged up to her crew mates. "Yeah, yeah. I know. Stuff here just looks... interesting." The woman said, looking back at the statue.
The pig started laughing again. "I can't tell you where your friends are, but wherever it is, they're in for a word of pain. But I wouldn't worry about them, you're not much better off yourself! You'll see." Luffy punched the pigs head, telling him to shut up and guide.
Zoro stopped in his tracks and looked behind the group. Everyone walked a few steps before turning around. "Huh? Is something wrong?" Franky questioned the swordsman.
"No. Just my imagination." Everyone shrugged it off and continued walking.
"Oh hey, Robin! Look at the photos I took. I think I'm getting better at photography." (Y/N) proudly held up the pictures she's been collecting.
"I can see, you've improved. Maybe I should call you, Ms Photographer?" Robin giggled at the woman as she looked at the photos.
(Y/N) laughed at her friends words as she put the photos him her bag. "Robin, you can call me anything you like."
"Crybaby, scaredy-cat, ghost girl." The boys teased the (h/c) haired woman.
(Y/N) slowly turned around, giving them all death glares before punching their heads. "I said 'Robin', not you three." Robin smiled at her crew as they continued walking.
The group walked for another long while. "Helllooo Sanji! Anybody?!" Luffy called out before grinding his fists into the pig's head. "Stupid pig! Just tell us where you hid our friends already. Come on!"
"Like I said before, ask all you like. I don't know a thing!"
Franky glared down at the pig. "When we get our cook back, we're making bacon out of you."
"Perhaps, they were strangled. So they can't call out for help." Robin pondered aloud making (Y/N) crouch down from fear.
"No more predictions from you!! They're way too depressing!" Franky yelled at Robin before pulling (Y/N) up by the back of her collar. "And you need to grow a backbone, (Y/N)."
"I do have a backbone! Its just.. on vacation from haunted mansions right now." (Y/N) hung her head in defeat.
"Hey. Wait a second... when did we last see Zoro?" The group looked around in concern.
"Of course that man gets lost." (Y/N) thought for a minute before dread ran across her face. "Oh no... Zoro lost in a big haunted scary mansion? Goodbye, Zoro. Rest in Peace."
"That ain't cool." Franky scolded the woman before smacking the back of her head.
The now three Straw Hats, along with the mounted pig, walked even further in an eerie silence before Franky spoke up. "I don't like this."
"I wonder what could have happened to them." Robin thought aloud. "It's certainly strange."
"You don't think one of those invisible ghosts came back? Like the one on Sunny." (Y/N) shivered at the thought. "I can't believe they got Luffy too..."
"There was no where for them to go. They were walking right next to us." Franky shook his head at the thought.
"Perhaps (Y/N) is right? Ghosts may have something to do with it." Robin smirked over at the shivering woman on the opposite side of Franky.
"It's not like I want to be right!!" (Y/N) yelling echoed in the quiet halls making her walk closer to Franky.
Robin giggled. "I hope they didn't lose any limbs."
"Dame it! Stop with all that creepy talk and start thinking about how we can find those guys and save 'em!!" Franky yelled at his archeologist before the three heard clanging behind them.
(Y/N) turned around quickly, backing up into Franky's chest. The cyborg placed his hands on (Y/N)'s shoulders, trying to comfort her. The three watched as someone golden armor slowly walking towards. The person walked a few feet before tripping and falling face first on the ground. The golden armor got up speaking. "Zoro! Sanji! Man, where did they go?" Luffy lifted up the helm's cover to reveal himself.
"WHY THE HELL DID YOU SCARE US LIKE THAT?!!" (Y/N) screamed at her captain.
Franky smacked the back of Luffy's helmet, scolding the boy. "This is no time to screw around! What's wrong with you?!"
"Hey! Everybody knows if there's armor laying around, you gotta put it on and wear it!! It's like fulfilling a man's dream!" Luffy yelled back at the cyborg.
"Whaa?? Oh wow.. That's a good point!"
"Don't tell me when you made a body out of iron, you gave yourself a cold iron heart too?!"
"I'm sorry, you're right! Even if I have fists of iron, that's no replacement for a heart that's full of dreams." Frank pulled out a pink guitar out of no where making Luffy cheer for 'Song Time'. "Realizing I lost something so precious has blown a cold wind through the rusty cracks of my heart. I can this one 'Steel Cyborg, Traveler Blue'."
(Y/N) held up her hand to the cyborg. Franky looked at her with puppy dog eyes as he slowly gave (Y/N) the guitar. "Awe (Y/N). Why did you have to ruin Song Tim—" Luffy's pouts where interrupted by (Y/N) slamming the guitar on Luffy's golden head. "Owww (Y/N)!!"
"Hey." Robin called out to the group making them all turn to look at her. "There's a large hall up ahead."
"Really?" Luffy questioned his archeologist as she gasped in shock. Franky grabbed the pig before the three ran after Robin. "Robin!! Are Usopp and the others here?"
"No. But take a look at this room." (Y/N) stared in shock at the arena styled room in front of here. "We should be outside once we past through here."
"Woah. What is this place?" Luffy questioned aloud.
"It looks sort of like an arena." (Y/N) curiously stared at the room. "But what is an arena doing in a mansion?"
"It's actually a lot more complicated than that." The pig evilly giggled at the group. "Oh by don't worry about the details. You'll find out soon enough since conveniently walked right into our trap!!"
(Y/N) felt a presence above her making her quickly look up. She saw a man in silver armor setting their blade on Franky. Quickly, the woman roughly pushed the cyborg over a few feet and allowed the man to pass right through her. This sword broke the floor between (Y/N)'s feet. "That was too close." (Y/N) glared down the man below her before stepping away, so she solidify her body.
"Who is that?!" Robin questioned, preparing to attack. The man stood up, revealing two spikes in his chest. Luffy gleamed with excitement for the 'haunted suit of armor', Robin revealed the obvious possibility. "It must be a zombie. It has spears piercing its body, but it's still moving around."
"So now the zombies are armoring themselves?" Franky said as he stood up. "Great. Cause this wasn't bad enough." The armored zombie charged for Franky once more, clashing its blades with the cyborg's armored body.
(Y/N) took out her sickles, preparing to join her friends side, but hesitated when Franky used his Strong Right on the zombie. (Y/N) thought the fight may be over. But it easily stood back up, showing no sign of injury. "This is unreal..." (Y/N) stared at the armored zombie in shock. Quickly, the zombie set a cross like shockwave soaring towards Franky at lightning speeds. "FRANKY LOOK OUT!!" (Y/N) screamed for her friend.
Thankfully, Franky jumped into the air before impact. "Right through the wall?!" The cyborg looked back at the damage behind him before looking at the zombie. Franky prepared his Weapons Left at the monster. "So what if you can use a sword? WEAPONS LEFT!!" The missile sent to zombie flying back into the set of stairs behind him. "Stop wasting my time, punk." Sadly, the zombie got back up and sped his way to clash with Franky again. (Y/N)'s eyes widened in shock and fear when the zombie cut Franky's iron stomach.
The zombie began to walk towards the group making (Y/N) take a few steps forwards, gripping her sickles tightly. Although the woman was halted when Franky grabbed the back of the zombie's head. "A little cut from a dead guy..." Franky slid back his foot before throwing the zombie behind him. "AIN'T GONNA KILL ME!!" The zombie smashed through a wooden fence and into the carnival tent behind him.
The group thought the fight was finally over, but the armored zombie stood back up yet again. "Ugh. Stay down already!" Luffy whined at the zombie.
"That guy is different. He's a lot tougher than those knuckleheads we beat the crap out of earlier." Franky spoke to the small group.
The pig began his laughing again making everyone turn to look at him. "Now you will know real terror! You'll see what makes a zombie truly frightening."
"Hey! Why are you way over there?!" Luffy irritatedly questioned the pig.
The pig ignored Luffy's question as he continued. "They don't even feel a hint of pain, they never get tired and these Zombie Generals offer even more. They all made quite of a name for themselves in battle before they died and were brought back to life. Among them are a knight, a wicked criminal, a samurai, a pirate and also a gunslinger. Just imagine the possibilities! These ruthless fighters combined with the relentless power of the undead!! Not a single member of your crew is going to escape this place... Give up! You're done!!"
"Shut up, pig!!" Luffy began charging at the pig, but was stopped by a large wall zombie blocking the Straw Hat's path. "Ugh!! He locked us in here!"
Robin stared at the wall for a second before tilting her head in thought. "Then we can only move forward, but..."
Right then a loud bang was heard behind the group making them turn around. The horrific sight (Y/N) saw made the woman back up a few steps. "Speaking for experience from fighting one Zombie General." Franky looked at the scene before him. "I'll say we're in pretty deep crap here."
"Ya think?" (Y/N) sassed the cyborg beside her.
Luffy had excitement in his eyes. "There's armored guys everywhere."
"Trying to take down these corpses one at at time doesn't seem like the way to go." Franky stated to his group. "But trying to take them all on at once seems like a dumber idea. This ain't good."
Luffy turned to the cyborg. "Yeah you got a point. And this isn't even the fight we came in here for."
"I think our best bet is to get the hell out of here." (Y/N) held up her right sickle, pointing to the hallway on the opposite side of the arena. "Meaning we have to go through them to get there."
Robin nodded at (Y/N). "If we somehow manage to escape this hall, we'll most likely end up outside in the courtyard."
"Great. Then let's split up and meet there. Be careful. I don't want anyone else to disappear. Got it?" Luffy ordered his crew mates.
"Aye, 'Capt." (Y/N) nodded her head in agreement, not taking her eyes off the Zombie Generals as they charged at the four.
"LET'S GO!!" Luffy yelled with a huge grin.
"Yeah!" Franky, Robin and (Y/N) shouted back.
(Y/N) leaped into the air twice before setting her sights on a Zombie General. The zombie clashed its sword with (Y/N)'s sickles before pushing her back into the air. (Y/N) commanded her right sickle to grow into a long vine, wrapping itself around another Zombie General. The (h/c) haired woman landed on the ground beneath her as the first General charged the woman. (Y/N) changed her stance, pulling the vine back and successful smashing the Generals into one another. Before (Y/N) had a moment to think, a large spear stabbed into the woman. "Oww that hurts so bad." (Y/N) looked up at another Zombie General with a bored expression on her face since the spear passed right through her. The woman wrapped another vine around the zombie's neck before flying up, suspending it into the air. "Now STAY DOWN!!" (Y/N) slammed the zombie's head into the ground beneath her. (Y/N) huffed a bit before landed back on the ground. "Looks like we made quick work of them."
"Now! Come on!!" Luffy yelled for his crew mates making them all run towards the exit, but all the Zombie Generals got right back up.
"Oh you got to be fucking kidding me." (Y/N) frustratedly yelled at the zombies.
"Stay down already. I don't have time for this, you damn zombies!" Franky angrily yelled before charging at them. Robin, (Y/N) and Luffy got back to work to knock down the Generals a second time, but yet again, the zombies grabbed their weapons and prepares to attack.
"It doesn't seem that we're making any headway." Robin stated to her crew mates.
"Damn it." Franky caught his breath before speaking again. "Kicking their asses over and over is gonna wear me out."
(Y/N) spoke while spun her sickles in her hands before catching the handles. "They have to have a weak spot somewhere. This is getting boring." The woman sighed as she readied herself for more combat.
Luffy punched one hand into the other, glaring at the Generals in annoyance. "They're suborn, huh? What a pain."
(Y/N) began fighting along side Luffy as he used his Gum Gum Gatling to take care of a large sum zombies yet again. (Y/N) stopped her fighting when someone called out to the two. "One Sword Style: Thirty-Six Caliber Phoenix!" The attack was sent straight towards Luffy.
(Y/N) quickly jumped in front of her captain, clasping her sickles together and successfully blocking the attack. "Are you alright, 'Capt?!" (Y/N)'s voice lingered with concern, but she did not take her eyes off the figure before her. 'Zoro?'
"I'm fine, thanks. But that move... Zoro?!" Luffy quickly turned his attention back to the figure in the shadows. "Zoro! What's your problem?! That's dangerous!"
The figure began to walk forward. Revealing himself not to be their crew mate, Zoro, but another zombie. "Scars on the back are the shame of a swordsman, but... I got scars on my entire body."
"You look different, but you are Zoro right?" Luffy questioned the skeleton making (Y/N) look at her captain in disbelief. 'That thing definitely doesn't look like Zoro.'
"Nuh uh. I'm Jigoro."
"Jigoro? You mean you're not Zoro?" Luffy looked at the zombie in confusion. "Then why are you using Zoro's sword moves."
"I'm tired of hearing your loud mouth, you damn pirate!" The zombie put one of his swords in his mouth as he spoke to Luffy. "You're my swore enemy."
"I am?" Luffy tilted his head in greater confusion.
Jigoro prepared on of his blades, aiming it at Luffy. "I'm gonna cut you into little pieces."
"Man you're a lot like Zoro." The captain smiled from ear to ear. "Only dumber."
(Y/N) shook her head at Luffy behind her. "'Capt. Why must you always..." The woman turned around to Luffy vanish behind her. "'Capt?! What?! He was just here a second ago?!!" Before (Y/N) could think about her captain for any longer, Jigoro charged at her. (Y/N) quickly turned to face her new enemy, leaping up in the air to avoid his attack. "I've fought Zoro before and won, so this should be a piece of cake."
"We'll see able that, damn pirate!" Jigoro jumped into the air after (Y/N), but she was hit by a flying cyborg.
"WHAT THE HELL GUYS?!" (Y/N) yelled back Robin and Franky as they took off running, (Y/N) over the cyborg's shoulder. "Guys!! Behind us!"
Franky slid a feet of two as he stopped and turned to face the Zombie Generals. "Its no use!! They're still coming!" The cyborg put (Y/N) down as he spoke. "I know what will stop 'em. Freshhh FIREEE!!"
(Y/N)'s eyes popped from their sockets when she saw the zombies douce buckets of water on themself. "NO WAY!!" Franky and (Y/N) yelled in disbelief at the zombies' actions.
A few of the zombies passed (Y/N) and Franky at incredible speeds. "HEY LOOK OUT!" Franky yelled back to Robin.
"How about some Once Fleurs! And Slam." Robin swiftly took care of the three zombies, but more Generals were walking towards the crew mates.
The crew mates decided to keep on running before Robin yelled out. "Where's Luffy?!"
"I don't know! He was right behind me a second ago when we were facing that 'Zoro' zombie, but I turn around and the boy's gone!!" (Y/N) yelled back.
"Maybe he wasn't able to make it out! I don't see him anywhere!! Probably because he's wearing that stupid armor. He blends in this the rest of them." Franky yelled back before three turned back to look at the scene behind them. "HEY! STRAW HAT!!"
