Imagine this: you are transgender, meaning you used to be a girl and now you're a boy.
You came out to your friends and family and they accepted you.
You told more and more people about transitioning.
But then you told the wrong people.
And they started telling you things like:
"You're too young"
"You don't know what you're doing"
"This is a mistake"
"I liked you better when you were a girl"
"I liked your deadname better"
"You can't be a real guy until you get surgery"
"Elizabeth"
Some people are just uneducated, so they says those things without realizing that it makes you feel like commiting self-harm, being self conscious about being alive, or even commiting suicide.
And then there are the people who do know.
Some people do know how their comments and remarks make you feel, but they say them anyway.
It doesn't matter how many times you tell them that you're still the same person as before, or that you're name is no longer what it used to be, or even if you just ignore them. They will keep on going until you have a metal, emotional, physical or psychological breakdown, or all four at the same time!
They just don't care.
