Calliope was sitting in the carriage with Arabella and her cousin Roman. Calliope was still digesting everything that had happened the past few days. Calliope pulled up the sleeve of her dress and looked at the markings on her arm. calliope dress had a high neck collar, the blouse was white, and the skirt was blue with different shades.
Roman caught her up on everything and explained.

Calliope was currently eating breakfast that the doctor had recommended to help her. It was oatmeal, with honey and a bowl of fruits. Calliope was eating and enjoying her breakfast when Roman entered. Roman looked better after getting washed and dressed properly. "Glad to see you look refreshed. "Said Roman cheekly.
Roman sits in the chair beside her bed, before he begins to tell Calliope what had transpired."Your mom's father has gained shared custody of you with your father- I mean Emperor Ruve."Said Roman after Calliope glared at him at the mention of the man."He is not my father. He lost that chance, about 9 years ago, after what he did to my mother."Calliope said, taking her last bite, before glaring annoyingly at Roman. Roman sighs, rubbing his eyes, "I know, but.. Maybe this is a good thing. You can bond with your grandfather and get to know more about your mom." Roman reasons and Calliope sighs, "Okay, but I am only doing it for you and Auntie."Calliope says making Roman chuckle.

Calliope looks out the window of the carriage and sees the mansion."My, it is truly beautiful, "Arabella says admiring the building causing Calliope to nod. "Wow...!" Calliope whispers admiring the beautiful castle-like structure.
Calliope was nervous about meeting her grandfather. What she knew was that he was a knight, close to the former emperor, and married her grandmother, who was from a fallen noble family. This is were the only things that her mother told her. Soon, they arrived at the mansion
The carriage pulled up in front of the luxurious mansion. Calliope was amazed at the beautiful building. Calliope once read that it belonged to the Manqiue since the first Emperor. In front of the gate was a group of servants along with a knight, and a butler.
"Ah, that Sir. Seymour."Arabella says, after helping Calliope out of the carriage."Sir. Seymour?"Calliope asks, wondering where she heard that name."That's right, Sir. Seymour is Captin of the Royal Guards and a high-ranking knight."Arabella says, causing Calliope to look surprised.
Calliope study the tall, blonde knight. He wore the colors of the Castine Empire with a lot of pride. Just by his posture, he was indeed an excellent knight."Ah, Welcome to Monique Mansion, Princess Calliope."Says The butler who bows to Calliope."Ah, there's no need for that title, umm?"Calliope says waving her hands, "Butler Ben, my lady."He said with dignity.
His smile was warm, making Calliope feel warm on the inside, "Your grandfather is currently away at the moment, but I shall escort you and your caretaker inside."Said Ben, leading the two ladies. Ben led Calliope and Arabella inside the building. It was huge, with many rooms and hallways. Ben shows them upstairs to the west wing. Ben then leads Calliope to a door, inside was her bedroom."I apologize for the state of your room, we tried to prepare it the best we could, my lady."Said Ben.
Calliope was surprised at how nice it was. It wasn't over expensive nor grand, but simple and nice."No, It's alright I like how it is."Calliope says smiling, "Very well, my lady. However, if you wish to add or change anything please let me or your grandfather know."He said before escorting Arabella to her senior partner. Since Arabella was now serving Calliope, She will be training with a senior staff member of the Monique household. Calliope lays on the couch exhausted."Mom.."Calliope whispers covering her eyes. She felt exhausted more so than in the past month. "I wonder if things will be okay."Calliope whispers, before falling asleep.
That night, Kristen came to the country mansion and busted his granddaughter to only find her asleep. Smiling, he lifts her and puts her to bed after taking her shoes off. He covers her up and kisses her forehead good night. He then leaves to talk to Ben.
Unknown to him, Prince Macaque appears after he leaves. Macaque sits beside the sleeping girl and takes a piece of her long hair and kisses it."It will be interesting to meet you, my fellow hero."He says before disappearing.
