your pov
It's Friday the day of tori's party, and i'm really excited for the full moon jam tomorrow. The last bell of the day just rang and I'm walking to my locker. I get to my locker and start packing my backpack.
"hey!" jade yells from behind me
I jump "oh my god! would you stop that!"
she laughs "you ready to go?"
"yup!" I say closing my locker
jade took me to school today, and i'm going home with her. we get in her car and drive to her house. we get out of her car and walk into her house.
"you hungry?" jade asks
"no not really," I answer scrolling through my phone
"well you have to eat so i'm making you a sandwich, same as last time?" she asks
I smile big, "yeah sure, thanks" I says looking in her eyes
she's smiles then looks away, she turns around and starts making the food. she finishes making the food, and hands me my plate.
"do we really have to go help tori" jade asks rolling her eyes
"yes we do" I answer rolling my eyes back "you excited to sing tomorrow?" I ask
"yeah I guess" she answers
"well i'm excited to hear it, your an amazing singer!"
"thanks" she says hiding her smile
I get a text and I look at it, it's from beck it's an apology text. I geuss jade can read my face.
"who was that?" she asks
"beck.." I answer
"what? what did he say?" she asks getting closer
"it's an apology text.."
"well what are you gonna say? cause I can help you says something really rude" she says smirking proudly
"i'm not gonna be a bitch, i'm trying to be the bigger person. I think i'm gonna accept it" I reply
"what?!" she ask getting angry
"I just don't want anymore drama!" I say back
"who cares about the drama?? what about the stuff he said to you?? all the shit he said to me??!" shes now yelling
"you're right, I'm just gonna ignore it.." I say looking away
It's now silent, and were both just eating out food. she looks up and looks me in my eyes.
"look, i'm sorry for yelling. he just doesn't deserve your forgiveness.." she says uncomfortably
"it's okay, let's go get ready" I say sincerely
we walk up to her room and get ready for the party.
"hey it's getting late, we gotta hurry" I yell to jade from downstairs
"okay okay relax, i'm coming" she says groaning
we walk out the door and get in her car, we drive to tori's and walk in.
"hey guys sorry we're late" I say to everyone
"it's no problem" tori says getting out some plastic cup
"anything we can help with?" I ask
"there's some speakers in the garage, could you guys go grab em' please" tori asks
"yeah of course" I say back
"you can go get them" jade says plopping down on the couch
I groan "fine i'll have andre help me"
"I got you" he says walking to the garage with me
we grab the speakers and bring them inside.
"woah I didn't even see all this before, where'd you guys get all the drinks?" I ask
"cats brother," tori answers chucking
"is cat's brother even allowed to buy alcohol?" I ask concerned
"no" cat says laughing
"okay?..." I answer deciding not to question anymore
we finish setting up, and I go sit on the couch next to jade. Who didn't help at all. we all sit there talking for a while, as we wait for people to start showing up. I lay my head down in jade's lap, and she's playing with my hair. the door bell rings and tori answers. it's the first group of people. there's about 9 of them, tori lets them in and tells them to help themselves. then she goes and starts playing the music. not to long after there's tons of people there, like half the school. even beck shows up, nobody invited him but he's not causing a problem so I guess its fine
me and jade are dancing together, i've had a couple of drink but i'm not drunk just a little buzzed. Jade pulls me to the side, grabs another drink, and drags me outside. we sit down next to each other.
"can I have a sip of that?" I ask
she laughs "yeah"
"thanks," I smile and take a sip
"these past two weeks with you have been great," she says smiling
I guess all the alcohol has loosened her up, because that's not a jade thing to say at all, "yeah they have, I have a lot of fun with you" I say leaning in and putting my head on her shoulder.
we sit like this for a while, I love this, I love being around jade, I really like her. I could stay in this moment with her forever just like this.
I want all this beck drama gone, I just wanna forgive him.
"I think i'm gonna just forgive beck.." I say quietly
I hear her sigh it's an annoyed sigh "what is your problem?" she asks
"what do you mean?" I ask back
"why would you wanna forgive that fucking asshole?!" she asks really angry now
"I told you I don't want anymore of the drama!" I say kinda shouting
"well that's fucking stupid!" she says standing up screaming
I stand up too "I just don't know why you care so much??"
"maybe because he said fucked up shit to you, and he said fucked up shit to me!!"
"well maybe he'll be better everyone needs another chance sometimes" I say trying to lower my voice
"you're a fucking idiot!!" she says not lowering her voice
"I don't know why your being mean right now, I just want to talk to you, I didn't think you'd blow up like this..." I want to start crying but I try to hold it in
"you know what you are pathetic, I was right in the woods, you are so pathetic that you'll let someone say anything to you and forgive them just because you don't want drama. that's so stupid. you know what how about I go forgive beck, you wont like how I choose to forgive people" She says angrily
she looks so angry, her eyes are do fiery, and my heart just dropped. This was not supposed to be like this, this was supposed to be fun now it's turned into this. she scoffs then turns around to walk inside.
I try to grab her arm and stop her but she pulls away "jade.." I say softly almost in tears
"don't touch me faggot." she says snickering
I let go and stand there, now the tears are just coming out, I couldn't stop them after that. This was just the same old jade, but worse more convincing.
jade's pov
I'm so fucking pissed, i'm mad at y/n, i'm mad at beck, and i'm also mad at myself. I didn't need to blow up like that, I didn't need to say those shitty things. I don't know if she's ever gonna forgive me. I go to my car, grab the gift for y/n, bring it inside, and throw it in the trash. I grab another cup, and start chugging. I see y/n watching so I go over to beck, and start dancing with him. we are all over each other I turn around while i'm dancing and see y/n I smirk at her, and she walks away with a really hurt expression on her face.
your pov
I see jade dancing with beck, I want to sob, I wanna leave but then I decide that I want to forget all about this. I walk past cat with a drink in her hands, and take it as I walk by.
"sorry cat I really need this," I say my voice cracking
after a while and a few more drinks later, im so out of my mind. I'm stumbling, and all I think is I just need to get upstairs in a room by myself with a little bit of quiet.
jade's pov
after more dancing with beck and more drinks, beck pulls me aside, then drags me outside.
"what are you doing?" I ask kind of not thinking straight
"we should get back together," he says smirk
"what no, what about y/n.." I say still pretty confused
"what about her? we are the perfect couple, we should get back together, come on please baby.." he says in a voice that sounds manipulating
"no..no! your a piece of shit!" I yell
"oh come on don't be like that.." he says smiling
he leans in to kiss me, and I push him away. "no, no fucking way you asshole, stay away from me" I say turning to go back inside
"you came to me baby" he says smugly
I walk inside, to try to find y/n. I grab a water bottle, so I can try to be clear minded when I talk to her. I find tori and pull her into the kitchen as I chug the water.
"hey I threw something away and I need you to get it out of the trash." I say demanding
"ew no! you get it" tori says refusing
"would you just do it don't be a baby!" I say
"why wont you do it?! you put it there" she asks slurring her words
"just do it!!" I yell
"fine" she says opening her trash can and digging through it "is this it?" she asks pulling out the little black gift box with red ribbon
"yes thank you so much!" I say hugging her
"did you just hug me?" she asks surprise
"yeah don't tell anyone"
I grab another bottle of water cause clearly I need it if i'm hugging tori. I walk around downstairs to try and find y/n. I open most of the door except tori's room. I walked in on some people making out and some people smoking weed. tori's room is the only one I haven't checked. I really hope y/n didn't leave. I open the door, and there she is with her knees pulled up to her chest and her head down. she looks up at me, her face so angry so hurt.
"hey, I really need to talk to you.." I say quietly
"I don't really wanna talk to you.." she replies sighing
"I know but I have to tell you how I really feel" I say sitting down next to her
"yeah and how do you really feel?" she says turning to me wiping her tears
"I didn't mean for that to happen, I didn't mean to make you cry," I start
"well you did." she says looking away and rolling her eyes
"yeah I know, i'm so sorry for freaking out on you. I just didn't want you to get hurt by beck, and truthfully what beck said hurt me too and it felt like you weren't seeing that or caring. but that was stupid, I know you care, and I love that about you. you care about my feeling even though I've been a jerk to you in the past I been a jerk to everyone. I didn't want you to get hurt by beck but I hurt you. I want you to forgive me I need you to forgive me because.." I stop
"because why?" she asks
"because I really like you y/n, your so fun and caring, and you know me. you bring out the best in me and it feels nice to be me in-front of somebody"
y/n is crying now, she just looking at me not saying a word. "I gotta think about this" she says getting up finally breaking the silence
she gets up and walks out of the room, and i'm just left there sitting on the floor.
your pov
after I leave the room I go sit downstairs not talk to anyone just sitting.
"hey! you okay?" andre asks yelling over the music
"something happened with jade i'll tell you about it later.." I say trying to speak louder so he can hear me over the music i'm not doing a very god job
"what??" he asks yelling
I get close "i'll tell you tomorrow" I say patting his shoulder and walking away
I go back up to tori's room, jade's not in there anymore. I go get in tori's bed, and lay there thinking until i fall asleep.
