It's finally the weekend, and Danielle is feeling restless. She wants to hang out with Haerin, the girl that's been occupying her mind for the past week. But she's not sure if Haerin feels the same way or if she even wants to hang out with her. Despite her doubts, Danielle decides to take a chance and send a text to Haerin, asking her to meet up at the park at 3:00. She hesitates for a moment before sending the message, wondering if it's the right thing to do. But eventually, she hits send and waits for a response.

Meanwhile, Haerin is in her room, reading a book and enjoying some peace. Her phone makes a sound frightening her, she's not used to getting these messages because no one ever texts her except for her brother. Pathetic, but she doesn't want anyone bothering her anyway. She sees it was Danielle and immediately panics "Shit! Does she really want to hang out with me?" She asks herself staring at the phone screen trying to figure out how to respond to Danielle's message.

She's been avoiding her for some time now and doesn't know how to explain why. But as she reads the message over and over again, she remembers why she's been avoiding Danielle. She's afraid of getting hurt, afraid of opening up and letting someone in. But at the same time, she can't deny that she's been thinking about Danielle a lot lately and secretly hopes that she feels the same way.

"How do I reply to this?" She mumbles to herself while sitting comfortably on the couch.

Wonwoo, her brother walks in and interrupts her, "Reply to what?" scaring Haerin once more. "Don't scare me like that!" Haerin exclaims, holding her chest before quickly adding "Also, none of your business!" she states before pushing her brother away.

"Bitchy much? Why are you being so defensive? Did you finally find someone?" Wonwoo smirks and playfully pushes Haerin's shoulder.

"N- no! Go away!" Haerin, who was visibly annoyed, stood up and walked over to her room.

"If you did find someone, I'm cool with that! Someone needs to melt your icy heart!" He teases as he rolls his eyes and focuses on the news.

"Fuck off!" Haerin yells out while slamming her door loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear.

Haerin types out a response to Danielle's message, telling her that she's still sick and can't meet up. She feels a sense of disappointment wash over her as she hits send, wishing she could have been brave enough to say yes. But she knows that she needs time to sort out her feelings and figure out what she wants.

Feeling restless and unsure of what to do next, Haerin decides to go for a walk. She puts on her shoes and heads outside, letting her feet take her wherever they want to go. Eventually, she finds herself at the park, where she settles onto a bench and watches the world go by.

As she sits there, Haerin can't help but feel a sense of loneliness and longing. She sees happy couples around her, holding hands and being affectionate with each other, and can't help but wish she had someone to share those moments with. But at the same time, she knows that being alone is easier and less risky.

She doesn't have to worry about getting hurt or disappointing anyone. But sometimes, being alone can be overwhelming, and Haerin wishes she had someone to talk to, someone to care for, and someone to love her.

As Haerin stood by the serene lake, she couldn't help but notice the beauty of the autumnal trees surrounding her. However, her tranquil thoughts were interrupted when she saw Hanni and Minji walking hand in hand, lost in each other's company. A feeling of unease crept up on her, and she wished she could experience the same kind of love and happiness.

She wasn't jealous of Hanni and Minji together, but rather of the fact that they were happy and content with each other. It seemed like the world around them didn't matter, and they were completely lost in their love for each other. Haerin couldn't help but wonder when she would ever find someone who would truly love her.

She felt like everyone around her was falling in love, and she was the only one left behind, falling apart. She wanted someone to call hers, and someone to call her "mine". The feelings of loneliness and longing for love weighed heavily on her heart.

Haerin rose from her seat in the park, still processing her thoughts and what she had just witnessed. She walked down the path, lost in her own contemplations until the person behind her snapped her back into reality because she was the first in line at the café. With a polite smile, she approached the cashier and ordered a hot cup of coffee. She paid for her drink and found a quiet corner to sit and sip her coffee.

As she sipped, her thoughts engulfed her, and she couldn't shake off the emotions that had surfaced. Why was she feeling this way? She had never wanted to love anyone and never bothered to assume how love felt. But now, she was questioning her own beliefs. Maybe she wasn't really the cold-hearted person she had made herself out to be all these years. Perhaps she was capable of loving someone and being loved in return. The possibilities seemed endless, and Haerin couldn't help but wonder what her future held.

Haerin heard someone calling her name and turned around to find Danielle approaching her with a worried expression. "I thought you were sick?" Danielle asked.

Haerin whispered "Shit" to herself, feeling nervous. Danielle asked if Haerin had said anything, "I was just saying hello, what are you doing here?" Haerin asked.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that? Why? You don't wanna see me?" Danielle teased, and Haerin became even more nervous.

Haerin responded with a forced smile, "I was just here for some coffee."

Danielle replied, "That's nice to know."

The silence between them was awkward, and Danielle could sense that something was wrong. "Didn't you tell me you were sick? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be getting some rest?"

Haerin couldn't tell Danielle that she was avoiding her, so she made up an excuse. "Oh...I...Uh...Felt better and I wanted some coffee..." she said, barely above a whisper.

"Would you like to go to the park with me?" Danielle was hoping the cat-eyed girl would say yes.

"I'm sorry, my uh parents might worry about me, I have to go now." Haerin had remembered that she told Danielle that her parents had passed, so there was no denying Danielle would get suspicious.

Danielle smiled, but deep down, she knew Haerin was lying because she had told her about her parents' passing. As Haerin left, Danielle was left alone with her thoughts and suspicions.

As Danielle sat in the cozy confines of the café, she found herself staring blankly at the wall, lost in thought. The music playing in the background seemed to fade into a distant hum as she tried to process the events of the past few days. She couldn't help but wonder why Haerin was avoiding her.

Had she unknowingly said or done something to upset her? Despite her confusion, Danielle knew that she cared deeply for Haerin, though not necessarily in a romantic way - or so she thought.

As she sat there, she found herself yearning to catch up with Haerin, to spend some quality time with her and rekindle their connection. Lately, Haerin had not been as responsive to her messages as she used to be, and Danielle couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

She couldn't help but feel a strange mix of emotions whenever she thought about Haerin - her stomach twisting in knots, her speech faltering, her mind racing.

The day before, Danielle had found herself contemplating the possibility that she might be developing romantic feelings for Haerin. The thought had been both exhilarating and terrifying, and she couldn't quite make sense of it. Was this really love that she was feeling? She longed to express her emotions to Haerin, to put them down on paper and mail them to her, just so Haerin could know how she felt.

But at the same time, Danielle couldn't help but question the authenticity of her feelings. Was she truly in love with Haerin, or was it just a passing infatuation? The uncertainty left her feeling conflicted and confused.

Haerin stepped out of the cozy cafe, her heart heavy with guilt. She hadn't wanted to leave Danielle behind, but she knew she had to. She didn't know why, but she just couldn't keep going on like this. Every time she was around Danielle, she felt a deep pull towards her, like she couldn't resist her company. And yet, she knew she had to resist. She couldn't let herself get too close to Danielle.

But why was that? Why did she feel this way? She couldn't help but wonder as she walked down the street. She almost wanted to say yes to Danielle's offer to go to the park together. She wanted to spend every moment just listening to Danielle's voice, feeling her presence. But she knew she had to resist.

The reason for her avoidance was clear in her mind. Haerin and Danielle were too close for their own good. They called each other pet names, walked each other home, and texted each other every night. It was all too much for Haerin to handle. She was afraid that if she got too attached to Danielle, she would end up getting hurt. She had been overwhelmed by her new-found emotions and just wanted to take things slow.

Haerin truly wanted to love. She wanted to fall in love and have it be the first and last time. She didn't want to be with someone who would say they loved her and then act like a different person later on. She knew that Danielle was special, but she also knew that she had to be careful. She didn't want to risk losing her heart to someone who might not feel the same way.

Haerin called Danielle and, to her surprise, she picked up. "Hey, Elle," said Haerin, her voice trembling.

"Hey! What's up?" Danielle responded.

"Would you like to go out to a nearby restaurant tomorrow? Sorry I made that dumb excuse to go, I just wanted time for myself," asked Haerin.

"Sure! Don't worry about it, I understand," replied Danielle. Haerin and Danielle talked for hours as Haerin walked home, and she got to understand Danielle more, which was all she wanted.

"Also, I love going on walks at night!" exclaimed Danielle.

"We should do that sometime," said Haerin with a light chuckle.

"That would be great! I'll look forward to that," replied Danielle.

Danielle was over the moon that Haerin had asked her out, and she didn't want the night to end. As the night wore on, Danielle lost track of time, and before she knew it, the sky was turning pink with the promise of a new day.

She didn't dare to move, not wanting to end this perfect moment that she had been waiting for so long. Haerin had to hang up because her phone was dying, but she promised to text Danielle.

Danielle walked home with a huge smile on her face, replaying the conversation in her mind over and over again. She couldn't believe that Haerin had really asked her out, and she couldn't wait to see her again.

Meanwhile, Haerin hurriedly charged her phone and prepared dinner, her mind racing with thoughts of Danielle. She had never felt this way before, and it scared her. She didn't know how to handle these new emotions, and she couldn't help but wonder what it would mean if she actually started liking Danielle.

It would be a huge responsibility not to break her heart, and she didn't know if she was ready for that. Moreover, Haerin hadn't discovered herself yet, and the thought of liking another girl was entirely new to her.

She tried to shrug it off, convincing herself that she was just excited to see Danielle, but deep down, she knew that there was something more. She texted Danielle a quick "Goodnight." and went to sleep.
