After many hours Dipper and Mabel finally make it to their destination
Mabel POV
We finally made it to our place after our mom said that we are close by,
there was a sign nearby but me and dipper both missed it as there was a big van that was in the way
it probs said where we were but I didn't care since over to the left I saw a girl who was watering her flowers,
she had blonde hair but that's all I could see from the back of her
she looked like she lived in the house next to the one we were moving into
*A FEW MINUTES LATER*
Dippers POV
We arrived at our house which was in the middle of two other houses
Mabel was excited to see what the house looked from the inside, unlike me who wishes we could go back to piedmont
"FINALLY WE MADE IT IM GONNA MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND FIND NEW PLACES TO EXPLORE AND AAAAAAHHHH-"
Mabel screamed as we got out of the car
Calm down I told her
we still need get everything out of the car

Its now evening and both dipper and mabel have settled into their new house and are getting ready to eat
Mabel POV
Mom called us down for dinner
today we were having our favourite
meal
lasagna
I was sad cause our parents said no to adding mabel juice so we just drank water
instead
"Did you guys see the sign if where we are when we pulled into the first exit"
said Mom
"What sign?" Dipper said with confusion
"What's a first exit?" i said with confusion also
"There was a sign- anyways, it had the place name on it" Mom replied
*A long pause*
"Are you gonna tell us or-"
"We're in Monterey!" Mom snapped back
Wonder why she was mad I mean its not me and dippers fault that we didn't see the sign
*Another awkward long pause*
"mh OK then" I said to ease the tension in the room, however Dipper looked worried and made an excuse to go to the bathroom
odd...
but I'm skeptical.

Dippers POV
The second I heard the word "Monterey" come out of my Mom's mouth, i suddenly made an excuse to go upstairs so I could text Pacifica where i moved to.
