"Oh, look at that shop over there!"

Furina dragged you around Fontaine, showing you different shops that contained clothes, jewelry, and food.

Everything honestly looked expensive, and you unfortunately didn't have any mora, so you couldn't buy anything.

You didn't really know what to do, so you just nodded at everything she showed you.

"Which one do you think would look best on me? This one or this one?"

Furina held up two dresses, a light blue dress and a black one.

"Um.."

You looked at the dresses and then Furina. You didn't really know.

"That one..?"

You pointed towards the black one, and Furina looked at it.

Puting the light blue one back, she carefully looked at the black one.

"I guess this one could work."

Leaving you by herself, she walked towards the changing room in the shop to change.

All you could do was sit on a nearby chair and wait for her.

"Are you here with your fiance?"

A young woman around the age of thirty walked over to you and smiled, awaiting your answer.

"No."

"Ah, so I guessed wrong again."

The woman smiled as she looked towards the changing rooms Furina was in.

She had just moved to Fontaine a few months ago, but she thinks that Furina looks oddly familiar.

Like the Hydro Archon? But maybe that's just someone pretending to be her.

"I saw the dress you chose, so it would be nice to have some matching accessories with it."

The woman walked over to a selection of hats and carefully studied each one.

"I think this one would be nice."

As if on cue, Furina walked out of the dressing room, wearing the dress.

"What do you think? Does it look fitting?"

Furina twirled around as you nodded.

It really did look good on her. You just weren't sure what to say.

"Yes."

"Ah, young lady, I've seem to have found some accessories for that dress for yours."

The young woman came over with the hat and a pair of heels.

"See if this fits."

Furina looked surprised at the sudden appearance of the woman but took the heels.

Trying them on, they fit perfectly.

"Yes, they fit."

Handing Furina the hat, she put it on and walked over to the mirror.

Furina's lips parted and stared at herself in the mirror. She never wore stuff like this before...

"Do you like it, young miss?"

All Furina could do was stare at the mirror.

"Yes, it's perfect."

The woman smiled at Furina's approval and walked over to the counter.

"So, will you buy it? I'll give you a discount for the shoes and hat of coure."

So it was bait...

She just wanted extra cash.

Even though Furina knew this, she still bought the dress, hat, and the heels.

"Thank you for your purchase! You could wear it out if you want."

"Thank you."

Smiling, Furina looked over at you, signaling for you to follow her.

You got up from the chair and walked out of the store with her.

--

"Hm... where should we go next?"

Furina walked around the streets of Fontaine.

Unfortunately, she already explored all the shops with you.

"What do you think?"

Noticing your lack of response, Furina turned around.

"Y/n?"

You were gone.

Furina frantically looked around until she saw you being drowned by the crowd.

You were trying to reach her, but there were too many people.

"Oh, jeez."

Furina pushed her way through the crowd and reached for your hand.

"Try not to get lost."

"Sorry.."

Furina pushed through the crowd with you following behind her.

You were glad that Furina found you, but all Furina could think about was how she was currently holding your hand.

Seeing nothing of interest, Furina came up with an idea.

"How about I try out my vision?"

-

Furina held her sword up high as she tried to summon water against some slimes.

Before you left and set out to find some grasslands in Fontaine, you and Furina purchased some weapons to use.

Furina got a sword, and you got a claymore just in case.

Before Furina could attack the slime, it jumped at her, and you immediately stepped in and swung at it with your sword.

The slime sliced in half and disintegrated into dust.

"Should you be doing such disastrous activities in your new clothes?"

Furina fell to the ground, breathing heavily.

"Ugh. I feel so exhausted.."

You kneeled down and checked Furina for any injuries.

Luckily, there was not a scratch on her body.

"I strangely feel so drained. I didn't know that having a vision could drain so much energy!"

Furina complained as she slowly got up from the ground.

You watched as she dusted off her clothes and picked up her sword.

"Alright, should we go set off that way?"

Furina pointed in a random direction, and you nodded.

To be honest, you weren't sure if she should continue at all..

Picking up your claymore, you followed Furina, weary of any monsters.

"I see more slimes over there! You stay here, I want to try my vision out for real this time!"

Furina ran towards the enemies and immediately got to work.

All you could do was watch with claymore in hand.

Looking around your surroundings, you saw the flowers that Neuvillette told you about earlier.

"So you see, the Northwest Of The Court Of Fontaine contains a beautiful shade of a flower. They are called Rainbow Flowers."

"...Do you need some?"

Neuvillette shook his head with a small smile on his face.

"No, I was just letting you know."

Neuvillette turned around as he admired the scenery.

"That's all."

You walked over to one of the flowers and picked one.

It really was beautiful...

Looking at Furina, you watched as she gracefully swung her sword at the slimes.

Killing the last slime, Furina sighed with relief as she dropped her sword on the ground and stretched.

"Ah, that's enough fighting for me today."

Furina walked over to you and smiled as she put her hands on her hips.

"Why don't we go sightseeing? The sunsets in Fontaine are really beautiful, y'know."

"...Sure."

Seeing something in your head, Furina curiously looked over.

"What's that you got there?"

"A flower."

You held it up and carefully placed it in her hair, away from her hat.

"There."

Furina's eyes widened at your action, and she could've sworn that she saw a small smile on your face for a split second.

Immediately turning away from you and crossing her arms, Furina tried to hide her light blush.

"A-anyways, let's head east from here. There should be a beach there."

Furina quickly walked away, leaving you behind.

You followed her, wondering if you did something wrong.

Did you perhaps upset her by putting that flower in her hair?

Or did you creep her out? Paimon did tell you that you were quite odd.

On the other hand, all Furina could think about was how you gave her a Rainbow Flower.

The flower that symbolizes passion and romance.

This made the former archon overthink as she walked quickly.

Did you even know the true meaning of the flower?

-

"We're here!"

Furina excitedly ran around in the sand.

Luckily, there were no monsters nearby, so it was safe for now.

"Look."

Furina pointed up at the sky.

You both made it just in time to see the sky darken to a deep purple.

Below the purple, it was orange and yellow.

Teyvat was truly a beautiful place.

"This scenery is perfect for a performance! Even though I said I wouldn't perform anymore.. I can't help, but have the urge to dance in the sand."

Furina put her hands behind her back as her face grew glum.

"Y/n, what should I do...?"

Furina couldn't help but feel a little lost.

Even though she acted as the little oceanid and received a vision, she still felt a little confused.

After all of this, did this mean she would pursue acting or build that boundary back up that she promised herself she would never cross?

"You said you wanted to dance, right?"

Furina snapped out of her trance. Turning around, she was met by you, holding your hand out for you to take.

"..."

Furina looked down at your hand.

What did she really want to do?

Looking back up at you, she saw that you were earnest in what you said.

You actually looked serious about your question.

"I do."

Furina took your hand and pulled you closer as you both moved around in the sand.

The setting sun shone brightly on the sand, painting it a light orange.

You didn't really know how to dance, but Furina guided you, which relieved you and made you a bit more comfortable.

As you circled around the beach, Furina couldn't help but smile.

The burden that she had to carry held her back for so long, even after she was released from it, but now that you were right in front of her, she felt free.

As you twirled Furina around, her eyes brightened as you both danced all around the sand for what felt like hours.

It was only when you both collapsed from exhaustion that you both stopped.

It was now dark outside, and the sky was decorated with stars.

Furina peeked at you with complete adoration.

You were perfect.

This was it. This was what she was missing all along.

Someone who understood her.

You looked down at her, wondering what she was thinking, but seeing that grin and mouthing those three words, you relaxed.

"..."

"Thank you, Y/n."
