Hello!
I decided to share some fun facts about my book, LIGHTS, CAMERA, SPOTLIGHT!
The amount of different characters considered for this fic was pathetic. The author had so many different ideas it gave them a headache.
I'll give you the character, the description, the example dialog, and why the author decided not to use them.

(Y/N) Needlemouse
[ A platonic TADC x GN! Needlemouse! Reader ]
- Oh my stars- this hedgehog is $#%& scary
- Jax doesn't even like to bother them. He instead tries to get (Y/n) to show any other emotion besides blank happiness
- Ragatha feels so uncomfortable around them at first, but her curiosity grows every time she hears their quiet whispers calling her, "Sarah..."
- Not even Caine likes them. They skip out on adventures, they twist his plans into their own,- they don't even show up for the theme song. Plus... they know something... they know who they are... they know everything
- Originally, Pomni loved to just talk to them as they never talked and were a good listener, but over time, she began to become weirded out as they'd sometimes interrupt her ranting by blankly stating, "Tails," before going quiet again
- All the cast knows about him is that he came from the void, and they only respond when called (Y/N)

The author decided that a shunned reader isn't a good reader. Yes, it was a good idea, but the thought of a reader who has zero thoughts and zero character development bored her. They like to write out and develop a character and Needlemouse, although unique, has no background so it's hard to do so.

[ The reader can choose if they are human or a skeleton ]
- (Y/N) hates everybody- except for Zooble
- He glitches regularly due to the fact that an abstracted .̸̡͉̭͇͕̠̬̦̭̻̿ ̸̡̮̭͇͎̱͓̈́̈́̔̌.̸͍̣͎̝̩̌̓̽͂̿̂̊̌ͅ ̷͖͕͚̘̖̔̆.̶̟̱̲̈́̈́́̐̌̽̽͜ attacked him a while back. Caine offered to help him, but (Y/N) refused the help and chose to live with it
- Hates being touched. It triggers his developed glitches and causes his virtual body to freeze up and 'crash'
- Throughout his time at the Digital Circus, he has learned to crochet, make puppets and dolls, and design clothes that he uses to play dress-up
- He only tolerates Ragatha because she looks like a doll
- Hate is not a strong enough word to describe how he feels about Jax. He scorns the purple bunny and his constant touching and stupid, flirty remarks

He thought it was a great plot idea, but oh my god there was no way in hell did they have the sanity to write out Error's dialog.
They adore Error, yes, but it would've been like eating out an elephant.

Queen (Y/N) Teensy
[ A romantic TADC x Female! Queen Teensy! Reader ]
- GYATT 😍😍
- She may not look like it, but she is a very strong girl. She once picked up a pillar that was ten times her size just because Kingler wished there was a free corner to hide in. Say some smart shit, expect shit back
- Speaking of Kingler, no, the two aren't together, but one of them wishes that were true (I'll give you a hint: it's Kingler)
- She hates when people flirt with her. She truly believes her heart beats for another... but she can't remember
- Along with her strength, (Y/N) has the ability to shoot out a very large gust of wind from her fingertip. It's not too strong, but it can allow her to push away medium or small objects and it gives her a small wind resistance
- Can't draw. Don't ask her to. Please, don't ask her to
- An overall very flirty person. She even somehow made Caine pick favorites

The author loved this concept and the character itself; however, they scrapped it when they realised the Reader sounded like a Mary Sue. One thing that's worse than a menstrual cycle is a privileged bitch.
Queen Teensy is pretty as hell but the author didn't want to write her wrong.

There are many other characters the author considered, however, each one posed a problem she did not know how to go around.

[ A romantic TADC x Female! Human! Weirdcore! Pinkie Pie! Reader ]
Would've been a perfect character for The Amazing Digital Circus but the author has no idea how to write cheery, happy characters without making the reader sound like they're on the spectrum.

Miku (Y/N)
[ A platonic TADC x Female! Hatsumi Miku! Reader ]
This would've been so cute and fun to write but the author doesn't know Japanese and he doesn't think people would like a platonic x reader.

(Y/N)
[ A romantic TADC x Male! Rayman! Reader ]
The author really did consider this- but they do sometimes have a hard time not writing dialog for characters when they don't speak, and although Rayman does speak rarely in the games, she feels like it wouldn't be enough.

(Y/N) Asylum
[ A romantic TADC x Female! Eve Silva Paragorica! Reader ]
Does anybody actually know this chic?
The author also doesn't know Spanish and Eve speaks Spanish pretty often so-
Plus he doesn't think people will fall in love with a woman with an apple for a had (despite doing so herself).

Back to the facts, the author originally planned to make this book a TADC x Male! Sundrop! Reader and make the reader turn into Moondrop in the dark, but knowing themself, he decided to make it just Moondrop! Reader because they would just make Sun turn to Moon every 5 minutes due to the fact she loves Moon.
On Halloween, the author drew (Y/N) wearing a Sundrop cosplay.
