It's Friday 10:28 AM Evan was in his room Bandit, Bluey and Bingo went to Kindy and Chilli's at work and he was home alone, he was read books about their history then he heard a knock on his door "come in" Bandit went in his room and wanted to ask Evan for a favour Evan nodded Bandit then said
Bandit: well earlier this morning one of our neighbours asked me if i could help them move some new furniture for them
Evan: okay then you want me to help with you moving some new furniture for them?
Bandit: well kinda i need you to go on your own, cause my mates just got tickets to a cricket finals and i can't miss it please Evan
Evan: hmmm i don't know
Bandit: okay fine *hands him money* here's 10 bucks so now i can go good luck, bye!
Evan: Bandit wait!, which neighbour? And i didn't ask for money!
Bandit: next door to the right and i already told her that you'll be helping, and it's okay mate keep it bye! *waves*
Evan: that was sudden and weird well i guess i should go and help them with moving their new furniture
After Bandit left the house Evan locked down the house afterwards he ate some fruit salad and took a shower after he dried and fixed his hair and wears his hoodie it was a bit sunny outside, he locked the front door and went to the house right beside theirs he walked to the house it was a blue Queenslander house with a white roof there were also some beautiful plants around it there were no toys anywhere, he walked up the steps of it and rang the doorbell after a while it opened Evan was greeted by the same Chow chow that night at the party
Evan: h-hello
Wendy: oh!, hello
Evan: i-i uhm heard you need help?
Wendy: oh yeah i was actually surprised that your the one who accepted it but it's no biggie
Evan: it's alright i would be surprised too if a cute- i-i!, mean nice yourself Mrs. Chow!
Wendy: well i guess so, yes and Bandit is always like this playing with his "mates" and please call me Wendy
Evan: it's nice to meet you, probably already know me but i'll still introduce myself, I'm Evan
Wendy: it's nice to meet you too well my new furniture isn't here yet so please wait inside while i make something to eat
Wendy led Evan in the living room it smelled like lavender Evans favourite being in his shampoo he sat on the couch and listened to the music play in the corner, then Wendy asked Evan what he preferred
Evan: uh may i ask do you have herbal tea by any chance?
Wendy: *surprised* oh!, you drink herbal tea Evan?
Evan: y-yes it helps me calm down and makes me feel refreshed
Wendy: well i was just making myself some herbal tea it looks like we both like it
Evan: really?, heh well that sounds great
A while later Wendy came in with a tray of two cups of tea and cookies they looked homemade, the room smelled like lavender and cookies it made Evan even more calm Wendy placed the tray on the table between them they took their cups of tea and started drinking it Evan then took a cookie and tried it, made him stop and look at Wendy she got worried that her cookies taste bad she asked Evan
Wendy: oh.. they taste bad I'm sorry here let me-
Evan: no Wendy they're.. Delicious!
Wendy was surprised that Evan liked her cookies Evan kept praising her and her skill he took another one and bit it and praised Wendy again, this made Wendy Blush from the praise Evan then said "wow you're such a great chef i bet your sister eats these cookies all the time" it made Wendy confused about what Evan said about sister she then asked him of what he meant, Evan then pointed at the picture on the wall with her and a smaller Chow chow in it "oh!, that's my actually my daughter" Wendy said making Evan's eyes widen from the realisation from what he said made Evan blush from embarrassment
Evan: I-im sorry i didn't mean to offend you im sorry
Wendy: oh heavens no Evan it actually made me feel that i was young *smiles*
Even: really? well i guess you look actually younger then Chilli
Wendy: oh!, well thank you but I'm actually a year older than Chilli, and also why would you think me and my daughter were sisters?
Even: well you two looked identical and i didn't see any photos of your husband
Wendy: oh... the thing is he and i have been divorced for 7 years, he cheated on me when i was pregnant
Evan: I-im really sorry that i reopened a wound that hurted you...
Wendy: no it's okay i've already accepted that he never truly loved me... and besides it was a arranged marriage
Eren: oh... well he's dumb to leave someone that's really good *takes a cookie* at baking these delicious cookies *eats cookie*
Wendy: *tail wagging slowly* oh why thank you Evan that's very nice of you to say that... may i ask you something-
They heard a car outside they looked out the window to see a truck parked outside two dogs were unloading the new furniture Evan quickly ran and helped them, after all the new furniture was unloaded the two dogs waved bye to Evan he did the same and the truck drove off Evan started lifting the wardrobe into the house it was small but made out of wood Wendy led Evan upstairs in a empty room he placed in and went for the next it was a bed Wendy and Evan lifted it and brought it upstairs after a few minutes of struggle of trying to lift it up the stairs they finally made in in the room and placed in in the corner next to the wardrobe, Evan and Wendy went down stairs to rest on the couch both were exhausted Wendy was Breathing lightly but Evan was breathing heavily in his vision there were stars around his eyes he suddenly fainted, he woke up in his old room he knew this was a dream he stood up and walked outside to see his mother doing something with her back turned Evan slowly walked towards his mother when he looked at what his mother was doing Evan's jaw dropping in what he's seeing it was him when he was 5 she was brushing his hair and humming something, the she stopped and mumbled something Evan did hear it then she got louder say "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" she kept repeating those words until she said something else
Maria: Evan please forgive me i didn't mean too...
Evan: what?, w-,what do you mean?-
Evan was cut off and woke up tears in his eyes he then felt something soft on the right side of his face he looked up to see Wendy asleep and his head on her lap, he slowly gets up and was about to leave but his stomach growled waking Wendy up she heard his stomach growled probably because he hasn't had launch yet and it's almost time for dinner she got up and and said
Wendy: Evan sit here for a minute i'll go make you something to eat?
Evan: *embarrassed* n-no it's okay i'll just go back and find something to eat back at their house
Wendy: no, and you will sit right there and wait for your food, and it's the least i could do for helping me move the new furniture in
Evan: o-okay sure i'll wait... could i use the bathroom?
Wendy: yes it's upstairs to the left and make sure to wash your paws thoroughly
Evan said "okay" and went upstairs and went in the bathroom he was even more surprised the room smelled like roses there was a bath tub to the right a mirror and table Infront and a toilet to the left, he did his business meanwhile Wendy downstairs preparing food for Evan she was cutting some veggies and adding them to a pot and added some spices, Evan was washing his hand and whipping them with a towel hanging on the wall he exited the bathroom but before he went down he noticed something in one of the rooms it was in the door next to the stairs Evan opened it was a small room and saw a bunch of fitness gear he smiled remembering her mother doing fitness but Evan shook his head to forget a d went downstairs to the living room he smelled the food making his stomach growl, he sat on the couch and Wendy then called Evan
Wendy: Evan your food is ready!
Evan: t-thank you for the food *sits down on the table thank you again Wendy for the meal, *eats soup* oh wow!
Wendy: I'm guessing it's good?
Evan: no... it's... Delicious!
Wendy: looks like you really like my cooking
Evan: Y-yes it's really good oh!, you should eat too Wendy
Wendy: oh but I'm not- *grumbling* hungry...
Evan: heh looks like someone needs to eat here *hands her a bowl*
Wendy: *blushing* thank you Evan well i guess i should eat *eats soup*
They were eating their meal meanwhile the Heelers just arrived Bluey, Bingo jumped out the car and ran towards the door but were confused about the door being locked Bluey, Bingo looked up their mum, she didn't know either she used her key to open it and went inside they announced their presence but no-one responded The kids were looking of were evan was again Chilli called Bandit but his phone rang upstairs she sighed and went to prepare dinner for them, back to Evan and Wendy they finished their meals Evan took the bowls and pot and started washing them Wendy offered but Evan denied it he finished washing them and went in the living he sat across Wendy, Evan then said
Evan: you wanted to ask me something earlier right?
Wendy: yes... if it's okay for you?
Evan: sure it's okay ask away
Wendy: did you... have a family before you were found by the Heelers?
Evan yeah... i had two siblings and one cousin and my aunt... they were my only family left, my mum and dad died from a car accident...
Wendy: i'm sorry i asked in the first place
Evan: n-no it's okay i don't mind telling someone about my family... my dad was a barber and he was really good at cutting hair or styling, and my mum has a bakery in our old house she made lots of sweet and delicious breads and cookies she also does fitness and uh... i kinda looked in one room of your house and found lots of fitness gear it made... remember does days...
Wendy: oh!, well i do lots of exercises to keep my body fit and healthy
Evan: heh it's probably why you can carry the furniture that we lifted
Wendy: yes it was a little hassle of lifting it but i was actually surprised that you could carry a 50kg wooden wardrobe all on your own
Evan: well i did lifting back in my world, but now i just read books about this worlds history and help around the house or sleep
Wendy: well when i do some exercise of myself, and i also once lifted Bandit up to get him in the car maybe you can join me do some exercises as well
Evan: no way really?, wow how heavy is Bandit? And thanks for the offer, and my i ask where's your daughter?
Wendy: Bandit weighs 29kg, and She's at her father's house she spends the weekends at his and my house
Evan: so you have a week with her and the same with him?, and you're here alone?
Wendy: yes... it's hard to be okay with being home by myself...
Evan: well that sounds kinda lonely don't you have friends to spend time with?
Wendy: well i have friends yes but... they're always busy and i also work at the gym
Evan: i guess that's true when do you work?
Wendy: on Saturday and Sundays only it pays well
Evan: well that's cool oh!, looks like it's 5:22 i guess i should be going home it was nice chatting with you Wendy bye
Evan left the front door and waved goodbye to Wendy she did the same while her tail was wagging slightly Evan went back to the Heeler household and entered the house and quality made his way to the kitchen he saw Bluey, Bingo and Chilli eating dinner he walked forward and announced "its Evan!" He learned this from Bandit a while back, they were surprised to see Evan the kids ran towards him and hugged his legs they then asked
Bluey: Evan!, where were you again?
Bingo: yeah you keep leaving the house...
Evan: i'm sorry Bingo i was helping Wendy with lifting in her new furniture in her house earlier and i ate dinner at her house already
Chilli: what? why didn't Bandit help instead?
Evan: he left the house to go and see the finals of a cricket game with his "mates"
Chilli: that sounds like him
Bluey: Evan can we play together!
Bingo: yeah! Come on let's play Evan!
Evan: alright alright but after you guys Finnish your food okay?
Bluey and Bingo said okay and went back to eating Chilli was watching them she warmly smiled at them they acted like siblings and went back to eating but they heard growling they looked at Evan he was blushing and was embarrassed that he was still hungry they all laughed them someone else joined in, it was Bandit he was sad and laid down on the ground he then said "they lost the game" Bandit said Chilli went to him and patted his back he then joined eating with them dinner went by and it was bedtime meanwhile at Wendy's house
Wendy's pov
"His words make me feel happy, he helped me move in my new furniture and he liked my cooking and he's so nice and kind to me and he almost called me cute"
