"It's all over." She said 300th time to herself cocooned up in the bed.
"Lies. Lies. Lies." She whispered.
"What wrong did I ever do?"
"He was traumatized because of his childhood. I understand. B-b-but this was so bad." And she burst into tears.
"I-I want to believe him. My husband. My lover. H-he said he only loved me b-but. But once upon a time he also said that he won't hurt me and would never lie to me."
"It is all because I chose my dreams. I chose to come to Canada. Had I not come, I would have never met him. I would never have a stalker. I would have never met this bastard Abhay. I would have been-"
And she sobbed looking at her hands which were bruised due to Abhay's beatings.
After continuously staring at them, her eyes filled with tears again and she started slapping herself with her bruised hands.
"Me.me.me!!" She screamed as she slapped her face.
"I am the root cause."
"I chose my dreams. I chose to come here. I stepped in this world. I! I! I!" She slapped herself more badly.
Her hair which was once perfectly smooth was not fully and badly tangled up.
"Loveleen was right. The world is not as rose coloured as it seems. Or I sh-should say, as I used to see it."
"It would be so much better if I just di-"
"B-Bittu.." and that is when realization struck her even more badly.
"Waheguru!!!" She screamed.
She sobbed. Quietly.
She smiled and caressed her baby bump.
"tu aakhri ummeed meri."
(you are my last hope)
She started to sing while patting her baby as if talking to him.
"tutt kite jaawi na"
(don't break away)
Her voice was filled with her sobs. Her face was red. Singing to console her own self. To express her true emotions.
"lutti hoi nu ve jaani"
(I am lost now)
Her sadness could be felt in her voice.
The way she trembled while singing each word.
"lutt kite jaawi na"
(please don't leave me)
Because each word was representing her situation. Her mental health.
"main jhooth badalda vekheya"
(I have seen lies changing)
Her life. Her relationship. Her husband.
"main sach badalda vekheya."
(I have seen truth changed)
Meri Manu ko sab best milega life mein. (My Manu will get everything best in her life.)
Her father used to say this.
Memories flashed in her mind.
She controlled her crying voice. More like forced.
"main badalde pathar vekhe ne."
(I have seen stones changed)
She hissed in sadness.
Once again patting her baby bump as if it's only her baby that is left with her.
Which was quiet true.
"main kanch badalda vekheya"
(I have seen glass changed)
But then again. It's her husband's baby. She realised. Who cheated on her.
And she cried more.
"sab kuch badal gaya mera."
(everything has changed for me.)
She felt like there was nothing left now. Her whole world was shattered.
"Jal jar hi jawangi."
(I will just keep on moving forward.)
But for her baby. For her Bittu. She has to be strong. Even if she can't.
That's what her mother did.
She protected her from all evilness of the world.
She will do the same. She thought.
Her throat was aching because she was controlling her cries.
"Ve je hun-"
(now if you-)
Her chest was having this unbearable pain which wanted to come out and scream.
Her heart was paining.
"Ve je-"
(now if)
Hurting.
Why?
Because she loved.
Because she trusted.
Because she was positive.
A hiss came out of her mouth.
"ve je hun tu vi badal gaya main te mar hi jawangi."
(now if you also change, I will die.)
And the moment she said the last line, tears rolled down her cheeks.
Badly.
She closed her eyes badly and held her mouth.
Trying her best to control.
Par kehete hain na,
Jo sabse zyada hasta hai, vahi sabse zyada rota hai.
(But they say na,
The one who laughs the most, will cry the most.)
Her stomach was feeling so many knots.
Relationships start with knots and end with knots.
They can be happy one or otherwise.
It's your luck.
And Manheer?
Her relationship took her to the heights.
Cloud 11.
And then pushed her down from the back to die.
To be alone.
Her body was filled with marks.
For all the things Abhay did to abuse her.
Her neck had that knife cut.
Her hands were bruised.
Her arms were blue.
Her waist had Abhay's hand marks for he held her tight as fuck.
Her face her the marks from Abhay's slaps.
But did it hurt her?
Physically? Maybe.
Did she feel any of that pain?
Nope.
Her mental pain was much more worse than that.
Suddenly the door opened and she saw a dark figure infront of her.
Abhay.
Wearing a black sweatshirt and a casual outfit.
"Ooh my Little one, sings as well?!!" My my my! Never had I thought I would find your voice melodious outside of screaming."
He said as he leaned on the door with his arms crossed and looking at her like she is his prey.
Manheer looked down.
She had nothing to say.
No savage replies.
What could she even do?
Be savage when all she has is nothing?
"Well well, I gave that petty king a choice."
Manheer didn't raise her eyes.
She was lost.
No. I won't cry infront of him for my husband. She thought.
"Look at me bitch." He said and grabbed her face.
Her lips parted with fear.
Her eyes which used to be filled with innocence were now filled with nothing except being broken.
She was just 20.
And had suffered the worst of life.
And that is the reason she blamed herself for everything.
Manheer. The diamond of hearts.
This was the fate of The Diamond.
"I told him, either he can save you, or bring me diamonds and save his citizens from bomb attack."
Manheer's eyes flickered.
"Guess what?" He said.
"He is bringing me the diamonds."
He is saving his citizens. Its his priority. His duty. Her mind spoke.
But she was too numb to say it out loud.
Maybe because of the inferiority complex.
Or maybe be because a part of her wanted him to chose her.
Not because she was scared.
But because it will console her that he chose her.
But she knew what she wants is something not gonna happen.
Dieing of one person is better than the population of lakhs.
She said to herself.
She gulped down her saliva as Abhay's grip on her cheeks tightened bringing her back from her thoughts.
Still holding her face Abhay forcefully tried to make her stand and walk with him.
Like a dog.
Like a puppet.
Like an animal.
She was scared. Not from Abhay.
But from her life.
God knows what would happen next.
Her heartbeat could be heard.
Her limbs were shivering.
"You know what will that King do after getting Diamonds?"
He looked at her and felt pleasure as she flinched the name of Amrit.
"He will go to my sister, and this time, not only suck her b-"
"Please..please be quiet. Please." Manheer spoke. More like, she begged.
"But its truth Little one. You cannot deny the facts."
"Pl-please. Please."
Abhay smirked at the sight.
Her begging.
The way he wanted to take revenge on Amrit for killing his men.
And the way he wanted Manheer to be with him.
All perfect.
"Come now. Let's go out." He said and dragged her.
He pulled her aggressively and that is when she spoke.
It was slow. But clear enough.
"Abhay.." for the first time she spoke her name calmly.
He paused. He also noticed that she never called him.
"Are you trying to turn me on?" He joked.
"Can I please not go out."
Abhay looked at her with disbelief.
"I-I am not feeling well."
"That's not my problem." He replied.
"Abhay please." She begged.
He ignored her and forcefully dragged her out without caring even a bit about what she was going through.
Meanwhile somewhere else.
"Sir! It's done."

How was the chapter everyone?
Idk about you all but I am emotional for Manheer.
And I don't have any meme-material story because I cried while typing this chapter.
