The marines that were once charging towards (Y/N), Robin and Franky quickly turned back, running from Enel's Lobby. "Hey! WAIT! STOP!" Spandom tried to halt the fearful soldiers. "Hey! Stop running damn it! Open your eyes! Come on, the battle ships aren't going to attack the bridge!"
Although Spandom commanded the marines to stop, the men kept running away screaming in fear. "HAHAHA!! Not as long as I'm on it, at least! Exactly like my father said it was! He told me!! He stood unscathed amidst the destruction!" Spandom continued his attempts to reason with the scared marines.
"Robin?" (Y/N) looked over at her friend in worry. She didn't know what to do in the situation, so she pulled Robin in for a hug. Robin didn't stop shaking in (Y/N)'s arms, but she accepted she hug.
(Y/N) looked over at the cackling Spandom. 'Shit. He managed to convince the marines...' (Y/N) thought, never letting go of her friend.
"Hey! Come on! Quit trembling and capture Nico Robin!!" Spandom yelled back at the marines behind him. "The sooner this is over and done with, the sooner I'll be seen the world's hero!! Why even the Buster Call sounds like a firework celebration held in my honor!"
(Y/N) placed her hands on Robin's shoulders, making the two look eye to eye. "Robin. I know this is uncomfortable for you, but I'm going to have to ask you to stay here okay?" Robin looked at her slightly confused by her words. "The others will be here soon, but in the meantime, I'll be here to protect you from whatever the hell this world throws at us. I need you to stay strong, okay?"
"I will try... but (Y/N). You're injured." Robin's voice shook as she spoke.
"You don't worry about that. Right now, I need you to be my strength." (Y/N) smiled at her archeologists before turning to Spandom. Her face immediately changed to anger as she stared down the man.
The three heard a loud crash behind. Everyone looked back at the end of the bridge to see a giant fist burst through column structure holding up the bridge.
(Y/N) watched in shock as Luffy flew out of the building after whatever he was chasing. Luffy used his Gum Gum Balloon to deflect the bullets the marines shot at him. "What the hell is he doing?!" (Y/N) yelled out as watched his foot enlarge giant-size before raining down on a marine battle ship.
"HE BROKE IT IN HALF?!" (Y/N) screamed in shock from her captain's actions. His Gum Gum Giant Whip attack broke the sails of the battle ship as if they were paper.
Spandom's evil laughter stole (Y/N)'s attention. "Do you see that, Cutty Flam! It's all over for your friends! It was over from the start!!"
"What do you know?! They're just getting started!" Franky yelled back at the man.
"Oh come on stop being such a sore loser! Lucci's the strongest man in the history of CP-9!! It doesn't matter how well you dealt with the other guys, you're dealing with a real monster now!!" Spandom laughed before continued. "And once he's done with your stretchy friend, you're next, Cutty Flam!!"
"My captain is one thousand times stronger than Lucci can ever dream to be! That man is going to become King of the Pirates!!" (Y/N) yelled back at Spandom.
Spandom stared at her blankly for a few moments before laughing hysterically. "King of the Pirates? What a child's dream! You really think a weakling like Straw Hat could really become King of the Pirates?!! You have to be joking!"
"I would make you eat those words, but I'll let my captain's victory do that." (Y/N) smirked at the thought.
"You cocky little brat! I don't care if Sengoku wants you alive anymore! I'll drown you in the sea and be done with it!" Spandom angrily yelled at the woman before him.
Cannon fire raining down on the marine ship Luffy was on took everyone's attention. Spandom began his annoying laughter once again. "Your precious Straw Hat was rampaging aboard that battle ship and now he's a pile of ashes! AHAHAH!! Your captain is dead! Go ahead and give up already! So much for becoming the King of the Pirates!! AHAAHAH!!"
"What the hell... that ship was filled with their own men." Franky spoke up, looking back at the battle ship.
Spandom turned his attention away from (Y/N) to Franky, speaking directly to him. "You're starting to understand the merciless nature of the Buster Call! This is the face of justice, Cutty Flam!! Do yourselves a favor and hand over Nico Robin! If you cooperate with us, I'll see to it that you're pardon for your crimes... Why are you even bothering to protect this woman anyway? What's in it for you? You're not even a pirate! The World Government is devoted to normal citizens like you from people like her. Do you really trust her more than us? This woman with blood on her hands? If you choose to defy us, well you remember what happened to Tom—"
Spandom was cut off by Franky sending him a Strong Right, punching the man directly in his face. Spandom was set flying backwards from the hit at Franky sternly spoke to him. "Keep your mouth shut. I've heard enough of your crap." Franky's tone of voice set a chill down (Y/N)'s spine.
"Thank you, Franky." The woman softly said to the cyborg. Franky smiled down at her, but she didn't look back at him. Her eyes was busy bleeding into Spandom, anger pouring out of them from his mention of Tom.
Spandom stood back up, taking out his elephant sword. (Y/N) stared at the man while he whispered to his sword. Soon enough Spandom drew back his sword before yelling. "Take this! Elephant CHARGE!"
(Y/N) watching in shock as the elephant sword charged towards the three. Franky was quick to intercept the elephant, grabbing hold of its head and pushing against it. (Y/N) gasped when she saw the cyborg sliding back towards Robin's direction. Thankfully Franky was able to stop the creatures tracks right before the sword could touch Robin's face.
"He stopped it?!" Spandom watched in shock as Funkfreed struggled to move out of Franky's grasp.
"You just keep digging your grave deeper and deeper." Franky glared up at Spandom, still holding on to Funkfreed. Spandom screamed in fear yelling at Funkfreed to slice the three to pieces. Franky placed his Weapons Left up to the elephants face allowing the creature to see the cannonball inside. "You best make your nose normal again, elephant. Unless you want a couple of new nostrils in the middle of your forehead."
The elephant quickly complied with the cyborg. "Okay, there you go. Smart move." Franky turned his attention back to Robin. "Nico Robin, you think Straw Hat and the others are still coming?"
"Without a doubt. They'll be here." Robin quickly said back to the man.
(Y/N) noticed the bleeding on Franky's leg from the elephant swords attack and quickly took off her right legging. The woman ran up to Franky and tied her legging around his leg, stopping the bleeding. "(Y/N)..."
"Don't." (Y/N) didn't make eye contact with the cyborg as she walked back to Robin, kneeling down beside her. "Are you okay? That was a bit scary."
Robin nodded her head before looking over at Franky. "Thanks to your friend, I'm going to be okay."
"That's the kind of man he is." (Y/N) smiled back at Franky as she stood beside Robin.
"I already told you once before that I'm betting everything on them, Spandom." The man questioned Franky's words. "Funny, I never dreamed this day would actually come. If I only had the power before, I wouldn't even be here. Everyone knows the reputation of Enel's Lobby and everyone knows the power of the World Government, but the Straw Hats didn't care. They knew what they were up against and they still pressed on. In order to save their friend, they were willing to take on the entire world without hesitation. And that's my kind of people."
(Y/N) felt tears forming in her eyes from Franky's heartwarming words. 'I'm taking you with me, Cutty Flam.'
Franky grabbed onto the elephant once more. "I've forgotten the role you played in Tom's death and I never will. Every time I've pictured your stupid face, I've dreamt of smashing it." Franky ran towards Spandom, dragging Funkfreed behind him. "Smashing your face... TIL THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT BUT BLOODY HAMBURGER!!"
A smile crept across (Y/N)'s face when Frank slammed Funkfreed down on Spandom. "That's a pretty good start." Franky continued. "Thanks to the Straw Hats I finally get to live out this dream." Franky began shooting down the marines before him. "I've died before and it wasn't that bad. I'll do whatever it takes to get the Straw Hats out of here."
"Don't you dare talk about dying twice, Franky!!" (Y/N) yelled out to her friend before running past him, slicing down marines left and right with her sickles.
(Y/N), Franky and Robin eventually made it to the escort ship at the end of the bridge. "Oh there's one left." (Y/N) turned to look at the scared marine near the railing on the ship. The (h/c) haired woman shook the blood from her sickles, slowly walking up to the man. "Run." She calmly said to the marine before her. The man screamed at (Y/N) before diving off the ship.
(Y/N) started laughing hysterically. "Awe man, he looked like he was gonna shit his pants!"
Franky joined in on her laughing as they watched the marines fall into the water below them. "Sorry boys! But me and the Straw Hats will be taking the boat. Gotta escape somehow, ya know?"
Franky turned back to Robin and (Y/N). "So, after cleaning house a bit, what was once an escort ship is now our escape ship."
"Handy" Robin said with a smile.
"Now we wait. Once the others get here, we'll spit." Franky smiled over at (Y/N). "You should get some rest while we wait, (Y/N)."
The woman thumbs up at him before falling over in pain. "Yeah, I think I'm gonna throw up..."
Franky was about to saw something to the woman, but he ran over to the ship's railing. "What's that?"
"Everyone! Breath!!" (Y/N) heard Kokoro's voice, but was too exhausted to move. "Don't you die on me!!"
"Ughh Franky stop screaming my head hurts— AHHHH DON'T LAND ON ME!!" (Y/N) quickly ran out of the way from Kokoro's landing on deck. The woman huffed from the sudden shock, grasping onto the railing on the opposite side of the ship. "Don't... ever... SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN YOU— oh it's my crew."
(Y/N) walked up, tilting her head at the group. "Are they okay?" Kokoro and Franky were too busy screaming for them to wake up and breath to answer the woman. Water shot up and out of the six before them. "I'll take that as a yes."
"They made it. They're all still alive." Franky said in disbelief shock. "It's a miracle, I can't believe it. They must have all seen something down there that put them in a state of shock."
(Y/N) looked over at Kokoro. "Awe your mermaid form is still as beautiful as ever, Kokoro!"
"Oh stop it you!" Kokoro laughed at the smiling woman. "What's wrong with you? You look pretty beaten up."
"Oh, ya know. The usual. I think I may have broken some ribs, but I'll wait for my doctor to check it out."
Kokoro laughed before turning over to Robin. "Well looky there. You're the one that Pirate King boy wanted to rescue so bad, aren't ya? Yeah! I remember now. We met at the shift station. You Straw Hats are something else. Mahaha! Back then I would have never thought you guys could pull a stunt like this."
Franky ran up to the mermaid. "If you don't hurry up and put some damn clothes on, I'll gauge my eyes out!"
"Says the pants less man..." (Y/N) rolled her eyes at Franky.
"You know you like what you see." Franky grinned in (Y/N)'s face, making her blush and look away from him. "Awe come on (Y/N)! Just admit it! You know I'm SUPER!!" Franky teased the blushing woman some more.
(Y/N) put her hand on his face and pushed him away. "The adults are talking, Franky."
"Awe come on!!" The cyborg pouted at the woman, but was ignored.
Kokoro laughed at the two before turning back to Robin. "When he said he was gonna be King of the Pirates, I'll admit I laughed. But now after everything that's happened, I bet he'll actually do it! Hahaha!"
Robin smiled at Kokoro's words before the four turned to see the others wake up one by one. "Is... Is Nami okay?" Sanji was first to speak.
"As lively as ever. You guys are tough." Franky looked down at the group.
"Welcome to the Land of the Living." Kokoro laughed as she spoke.
Sniper King looked up at the mermaid. "AHHH It wasn't a nightmare! Mermaid really don't exist!!"
"So all those old sailor stories are true. Every single time you see a mermaid, it's actually a dugong!!" Zoro yelled out with tears in his eyes.
"Shut up you bastard, she hasn't actually confessed to being a mermaid yet. Stop trying to kill my fantasies." Sanji angrily yelled back at the swordsman.
"If you want to be specific, I'm an Ice Fish mermaid." Kokoro explained.
"Stop ittt!!! Don't say another word!!" Sanji yelled back at the woman.
"Uhh... she is a mermaid, Sanji." (Y/N) blankly said to the angry cook.
"There's no way! What kind of mermaid lives on dry land?! And has legs and feet!" Sniper King questioned Kokoro making (Y/N) giggle.
Sanji started banging the deck's flooring. "I refuse to accept this!! Mermaids should be more like... like what all the sailors say. A slender, sexy body. Beautiful skin.. long flowing hair. Graceful, gorgeous..." Sanji left his fantasy world and hit reality hard, crying on the ground.
"Just to educate you boys, when we mermaids get to be about thirty years old, our tail fin forks in two and we can walk on land like a regular human. If you ever make it out to Fish Man Island, you'll see what I'm talking about." Kokoro quickly explained.
"Their tails split? Oh I get it. I heard the same thing happens to cat's tail when they live to be one hundred then they become goblins." Sniper King quickly explained.
"Ah so she's a goblin cat." Sanji said as he got up off the floor.
(Y/N) quickly hit Sanji, Sniper King and Zoro on their heads. "DON'T DISRESPECT KOKORO YOU MORONS!"
"Ow! Why'd you hit me?!" Zoro sassed at the woman.
"Dugong." (Y/N) said bluntly before smacking him again.
"Enough of that, didn't I just save your lives?!" Kokoro scolded the three.
"Thank her now." (Y/N) said glaring at the boys.
"Thank you, Granny Kokoro. We appreciate it." The boys said in unison making (Y/N) smile.
Kokoro laughed. "Don't mention it."
Sanji looked over at Robin for a few seconds before jumping to her with hearts in his eyes. Thankfully, Nami and Chopper saved Robin from the lovesick cook when they jumped on her in a big hug. "ROBIN!! I'm so glad we made it in time! You're not hurt are you??" Nami happily cried on her friend.
"Robin's back!!" Chopper joined Nami's cries.
"Yes. Because of all of you. Thank you so much." Robin smiled at her friends before looking over at (Y/N) who was struggling not to cough and ruin the wholesome reunion. "Doctor, could you—"
Robin was cut off by Chopper falling down off Nami's back. "Are you alright?" Robin nervously asked the little deer.
"I.. I can't move my body." Chopper said in concern.
"I'm not surprised. Don't worry about it, I'll explain everything later okay." Zoro said back to Chopper as he stood on the large staircase that leads the top of the bridge.
(Y/N) ran to the side of the ship, puking out blood over the railing. "(Y/N)?! What's wrong with you??" Nami questioned her as she walked up besides her friend. "Blood?!" Nami said in shock making the crew look towards (Y/N).
"It's her ribs. That Kalifa bitch kicked her in the same spot she's broken them before." Franky spoke up for the woman that was still puking. "Saw everything with my own eyes. She's been coughing up a ton of blood as well, I'm almost certain the woman's been running off of adrenaline rushes for a while now."
"I was just about to ask Chopper to check on her, but..." Robin looked down at the reindeer with concern in her eyes.
(Y/N) wiped blood off her mouth before turning back to her crew. "Oh I'll be fine..." The woman said with false confidence as she leaned up against the railing.
"Hey Zoro?" Sniper King called out to the swordsman that was now walking up the large staircase. The King took off running after him along with Sanji and Franky.
"(Y/N). I'm sorry I can't help you right now..." Chopper called out to her with tears in his eyes.
"Awe Chopper, don't worry. When you get to feeling better, you can treat me then. Okay?" (Y/N) talking softly to the deer.
Chopper tried to move, but he couldn't. He spoke with tears in his eyes. "(Y/N)... If you keep coughing up blood like that... I'm afraid you could die."
