(Y/N) bit Franky's hand, but it was hard as iron making the girl scream from pain. Franky quickly enter an empty ally way, placing (Y/N) in front of him. "(Y/N) don't scream when I let go, got it?" The woman slowly nodded her head in agreement. "Okay. I'm gonna let go now. No screaming."
Franky took his hand of her mouth. They were silent for a few seconds, staring at each other. "AHHHHHH—" (Y/N)'s mouth got covered up again.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO SCREAM!!" Frankly yelled at the (h/c) haired woman.
(Y/N) took his hand off her mouth. "YOU'RE THE ONE SCREAMING NOW!" The woman yelled back.
"SAYS THE ONE SCREA—" Franky got cut off by an old man popping out of a window, yelling at the two to be quiet.
(Y/N) waved off the man before looking back to Franky. "It's really you, isn't it?"
"Sometimes I can't believe it myself." Franky rubbed the back of his head nervously looking away from her.
(Y/N) was so overwhelmed with joy, all she could do was hug the man before her. Happy tears pouring from her eyes. "Flam... I don't know or care how, you're alive! I can't believe this, are you sure I'm not dreaming?"
Franky hugged her back gently. "It's 'Franky' now. Remember? Like my old battle ships?"
(Y/N) looked up at the man. "I knew I heard that name from somewhere!"
Franky laughed, wiping her tears off her cheek for her. "You've grown so much. I guess I can't call you 'kid' anymore, can I?"
"As if I ever let you call me that in the first place." (Y/N) giggled up at the man. "You have to tell me why you chest is so hard though." (Y/N) knocked on his stomach.
"What? You don't like these rock hard abs?" Franky gave (Y/N) a goofy grin.
"Oh there is no way the Fla— Franky, I know would have worked this hard on his abs. Let alone your arms, what the hell did you do to your body?!" (Y/N) inspected left his arm and hand, but before Franky could answer, a newspaper hit (Y/N)'s face.
"Haha! Nice shot wind!" Franky laughed hard as (Y/N) pulled the paper off her face.
'Culprits in the Assassination Plot... oh no. They have Zoro's, Luffy's and Robin's bounties posted here. I better get going back to my crew, how the hell did I forget about that?!' (Y/N) face wore absolute panic when she saw the paper.
"(Y/N)? Is there something wrong?" Franky looked at her with concern.
"Yeah, it's my friends. I need to find them right away. Where can I find you after I clear things up with them?" (Y/N) asked as she rolled up the newspaper and placed it in my bag.
"Do you know where my old hideout is? I'll be there before Aqua Laguna hits. Meet me there tonight, got it?" (Y/N) nodded to Franky's words before leaping up the side of the houses and onto the roofs.
(Y/N) searched for what felt like hours for her crew mates. "Damn, I didn't realize how huge this town is." (Y/N) said as she landed on another house. "Where are they—"
(Y/N) looked around her when she heard a familiar ginger's voice yelling at someone.
(Y/N) jumped over a few houses in the direction she heard Nami's voice. "NAMI?? WAS THAT YOU UP HERE??"
"(Y/N)?!" Nami called out to her.
(Y/N) flipped her head around, finally seeing a group of four on top sitting on top of a building. The (h/c) haired woman leaped through the air over to them. "Oh hey Nami, Luffy, Zoro and Chopper. What are you guys up to—"
All four of them hit the woman in the head. "WHERE WERE YOU?! DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT!"
"Ughhh, what the hell guys?! I'm a capable woman, I can take care of myself!" (Y/N) rubbed the four bumps on her head. "What are you guys doing all the way up here? I thought roof jumping was my thing."
"It's not like we were giving much of a choice to come up here." Nami sighed. "We've been running from mobs of angry shipwrights."
"From this, I suppose?" (Y/N) pulled out the newspaper she found from her bag. "I went back to the Inn and saw the whole place was covered in lookouts. So I decided to hunt you guys down, but I guess the shipwrights beat me to that."
"Oh yeah, that reminds me. How'd you know we were down there, Chopper?" Luffy looked over to the little reindeer.
"Your smell." Chopper said bluntly.
"Ah, should have known. But wait, wasn't Sanji with you?" Luffy's words made Chopper look down a bit.
"Well he was..." Chopper explained to the crew what happened with Robin and how she said she is parting ways with the crew.
"No way! That doesn't make any sense!! Did Robin really say that to you?!" Luffy questioned Chopper's memory in shock as the little deer nodded his head in agreement.
The crew stood sat in silence for a few seconds. "We were prepared for this, weren't we?" Zoro spoke up first. The swordsman pointed his covered sword straight head of him. "After all, Robin was our enemy before we let her join the crew. This might be our only chance to find out the truth, so we shouldn't run away. There's still a lot of things we don't know about Robin. Now it's time to decide if she's a friend or a foe."
(Y/N) glared up at the swordsman in front of her. 'She's my friend.' The woman thought could never be swayed.
"That's all she said, Chopper?" Zoro questioned the deer once more, Chopper still nodding his head in agreement. "If she said she won't see us after today, and things are gonna get worse. Maybe that means that the attack on Iceburg was just a warm up and she has something even bigger planned for tonight."
The group sat in a few moments of silence before the swordsman spoke again. "I don't know why Robin's doing any of this, so it's hard to make a guess as to what she's planning. Seeing how much commotion her first attack on the major caused there's only one way to make things worse." (Y/N)'s eyes widened at Zoro's words.
"In other words, she'll murder him." Nami said before looking over at the shaking woman beside her. "(Y/N)...?"
"I heard a rumor about a separate culprit pulling the strings in all of this." (Y/N) hung her head. "But I don't know how true it is."
"Good to know, but I think Nami is right." Zoro gave insight on what he was thinking. "Also since Robin's told Chopper that she's been pinning the crimes on us, it could be that she's feeding us these little hints to try to lure us out to the crime scene tonight."
"You think so?" Chopper questioned the swordsman.
"If that is her plan, it would be convenient for her if we did have to show up. Since that would put up at the scene of the crime." Zoro pointed out like a real investigator.
"You say you don't know what she's thinking, but it sounds like to me you've already decided that she's our enemy!" Nami yelled at the man before her.
"I'm talking about possibilities here, that's all. You should always be prepared for the worst case scenario, understand?" The swordsman quickly snapped back. "If I get locked into a single line of thinking, it will only slow me down. If she's my friend, I have to be ready to forgive. But if she's my enemy? I have to be ready to fight."
Zoro's words made (Y/N) stop shaking and looked up to the man. 'I have to be ready to fight...' (Y/N) bit the inside of her lip from the uneasiness she was feeling.
"Our best chance to settle this, is tonight. Are we going?" Zoro asked his captain.
"Of course." Luffy's words made everyone sit in silence once more.
Nami broke the silence first. "It's not that I object to the plan, but we're still forgetting something. Sanji said he saw someone walking in a mask remember? Iceburg said exactly the same thing, that he was attacked by Robin and a man in a large mask that he didn't recognize. Now, (Y/N) talking about this second culprit rumor? Whoever this man is, I bet he's the reason Robin's doing all this stuff."
"Yeah! That means it isn't her fault and we just need to beat the real bad guy, right?!" Chopper yelled in confused anger.
"That's the ideal situation, but on the other hand it's also possible this guys is one of Robin's friends." Zoro tilted his head a bit to Chopper as if he was pointing out the obvious.
"The problem is we don't much to go on other than 'a big man in a mask.' So where do we even start? I mean, what is our goal here?" Nami questioned her crew before their captain spoke up.
"We find Robin and capture her." Everyone stared at the straw hat in disbelief, but soon realized he was right. "That's the only way we'll ever know the truth."
"You're right. We're wasting like here trying to figure it out." Zoro gave them a good point as he continued. "Just one thing. Robin won't be easy to catch. World Government has been trying for twenty years and it still hasn't happened."
(Y/N)'s mind reminded her of what Kokoro said about an organization called CP-9. 'I don't even know if it's real...'
The (h/c) haired girl shook the thought out of her head as Nami spoke up. "Like he said it's the only way we'll really know for sure." Nami said as she stood up.
"Yeah! Let's settle this right now." Chopper stood up as well as (Y/N) who agreed with the deer.
"Come on, Galley Law's waiting." Luffy held his straw hat as the five made their way to the Galley Law Company's headquarters.
(Y/N) soared though the sky to the tree Luffy pointed out. After (Y/N) landed on a large branch, the other four landed next to her. Chopper and Luffy moved some branches out of their view to see the Galley Law Company covered in shipwrights that stood guard around the building.
"There sure are a lot of people out there." Chopper said as he looked through his binoculars.
"It's a little far too." Luffy stated back to his crew.
"It would be find if you rocket through the widow, right? After Robin shows up I mean." Nami questioned her captain.
"That's right. If we make a commotion first, then we'll just sneak in while we're dealing with the guards." Zoro said, looking to (Y/N). "Lets be patient."
"I still don't understand why I can't go in there already?? I can sneak in undetected as is." (Y/N) looked back at the swordsman.
"I know you're concerned about Iceburg, but he is the bait to lure Robin out so we can capture her. In the event we need you to go all ghost girl, you'll do so on my signal." (Y/N) looked pissed at Zoro's words, but just crossed her arms and looked back out to the building. The group heard yelling coming from the building soon after.
"Sounds like something's going on down there." Zoro's attention switched from (Y/N) to Chopper. "What do you see?"
"They're all kind of standing around now, but... their all huge and armed and angry."
Nami spoke up. "We need to be careful. Those guys have a reputation to being able to handle themselves when push comes to shove. We don't want to rush in and do anything we're gonna regret later."
"Yeah. If we just barge in swinging, we'll just be asking for trouble." Luffy said calmly causing Nami to sigh and remind him about the man charging in the building in the middle of the day.
"Weird. I just walked in with Polly." (Y/N) shrugged as Nami looked like she wanted to strangle the woman.
Zoro shook his head, reminding the group not to let their guard down which they all agreed. After a long while of waiting, Robin's move was made. A large explosion shocked the group that watched from the three. "WOAH SOMETHING BLEW UP!!" Chopper yelled out.
'I can't keep standing around here watching.' (Y/N) thought as she turned into air. 'Zoro, you can yell at me later all you want, I'm going to check on my friend's safety.'
(Y/N) quickly flew through the air, letting her crew mates know she was leaving. "(Y/N)!!" Nami called out to her after noticing the sudden wind and the disappearance of her crew mate.
The (h/c) haired woman made her way inside the building she was once in today. Once she reached the room Iceburg was once in, she saw five empty chairs in front of the room. 'That's odd...'
(Y/N) slowly opened the door, checking if there was anyone else in the room asides Iceburg. "Huh? Who goes there? Show yourself!" Iceburg called out to the door that slowly opened and closed on its own.
"Shhh! Do you want to get me caught?!" (Y/N) reappeared by the door.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" Iceburg questioned the woman as she walked up to his side.
(Y/N) hugged Iceburg, kissing his cheek before speaking. "I'm glad to see you doing better than before, but I have some bad new to share with you."
"I know already... My life is in danger." Iceburg calmly said.
"How are you so calm about it then?! Get up! We have to get going!!" (Y/N) pleaded with her friend.
"No. You must leave now. Go warn the man named Franky, I know he stole your money but—"
"I know he's Flam. I met him hours before coming here. My crew and I still have yet to clear anything up with him, nor do I believe we can forgive him." (Y/N) sighed. "I want to, but I'm afraid what my crew will have to say. He has caused a lot of damage to our crew unknowingly. Wounds you can not simply repair."
Iceburg shook his head. "(Y/N)... remember that secret Flam and I would keep for you those many years ago?"
"Ughh, don't remind me. I still want to know what it is!" (Y/N) smiled at at the man, but the smile slowly faded when Iceburg began to explain what Pluton is and how the weapon can be used as a bringer of death and destruction. "And that's what the government has been after you for after all these years?"
Iceburg nodded to the (h/c) haired woman. "I've only kept a fake here, so it's only a matter of time before they discover the real one. I need you to warn Franky. Tell him to run far away from this city and to never look back!" Iceburg held (Y/N)'a hand in his.
(Y/N) nodded her head yes to the man before kissing his forehead. "Stay alive for me, ice for brains. I'll see you when I come back, I promise." The (h/c) haired woman walked to the widow as she heard the sounds of a door opening behind her. (Y/N) quickly unlocked the window, jumping out of the building.
