It was currently 11:06 in the morning. Yas & Lani were up watching Sofia the first on her TV as Geo slept next to them.
A/n one big happy family hehehe
"Can y'all turn that down please ?" Geo asked lowly
Lani grabbed the remote and turned it down a little which cause Yas to suck her teeth.
"No" she said grabbing the remote and turned it up louder than before
"Yas. Your brother is trynna sleep, we have to be quiet" Lani said turning the Tv back down
"I don't care. He can sleep in the next room" she said rolling her eyes and turned the Tv back up
"Yasmine. Stop playing with me" Geo said snatching the remote from her and turned the TV down
"Bae don't snatch from her" Lani said softly
Yas snatched the controller back and stuck her tongue out before moving to the front of the bed turning the TV back up.
"Yas" Geo called but she ignored my turning the Tv up louder
"Yasmine" he yelled which caused her to continue to turn the TV up
He smacked his lips and got out of bed taking the remote & turned the TV off.
"Now you can't watch nothing" he said placing the remote on top of the dresser knowing she couldn't reach
Yasmine groaned in annoyance "You literally ruin everything. Why are you here ?" She asked before walking out the room
Geo scrunched his face and followed behind her which caused Lani to follow behind them.
"Cause I can be here, Stop being disrespectful. What is your problem ?" He asked as she sat on the couch with her arms folded
"I wish you would go away, I don't wanna stay with you. I wish you would die instead of mommy"

Geo heart dropped "oh for real ?"
"Yes." She replied staring him in the eye
"Umm no, Yas don't say something like that" Lani said standing between the two as they stared at each other
"You ungrateful asf. I do so much for you & you say some shit like that to me" Geo said
"Bae. She didn't mean it" Lani said
"She damn sure did. She said that shit with her chest, but it's cool since you feel that way stand on it" Geo said walking back to the room
"Yasmine. Why would you say something like that ?" Lani asked looking at her
"Because he's always ruining something"
"Don't ever wish death on anyone. Especially your family, you might be young but you know exactly what you said and that wasn't cool at all." Lani said as Yas cried
A/n I be forgetting she only 6, let's pretend she's 9 🙂
"You sit there and think about what you just did & when you understood what you said then you gone get up and apologize to your brother" she said causing Yas to nod as the tears continued to roll down her eyes
Lani walked back into her room and heard her shower running.
She walked into the bathroom and seen Geo standing in front of the mirror brushing his teeth.
"She didn't mean it" I said sitting on the counter
"Well that shit damn sure hurt for her not to mean it" Geo said before rinsing his mouth out
"She's going through alot right now bubba."
"You don't think I know that ? She's basically watching our mom die. I know she's going through a lot Kay'Lani" he said
"But what about me ? I'm going through a lot too, planning a funeral for someone who ain't even dead yet. House hunting for me & my sister who apparently don't even wanna live with me . I'm going through shit too Lani, but you don't see me wishing death on anyone" he said taking his clothes off and got in the shower
Lani took hers off also and got in behind him.
"It's not just your mom, it's also with school" Lani said which caused Geo to scrunch his face
"What happened at school ?"
"She has no friends bae, plus the girls at school are being mean to her. She claims she doesn't care, but I've been through that. I know how it feels to constantly get picked at. She also asked if she can move in with me" Lani explained as she washed his back
He sighed "why didn't she tell me anything ?"
"You have been hella busy lately" Lani replied
He sighed "this is all my fault"
Lani shook her head "No it's not. Your doing the best you can"
"Mir, Lani. I'm ready to talk now" Yas said softly while knocking on the door
"Okay. We'll be right out boo" Lani yelled

After their shower, the three sat on the couch staring at each other.
Yasmine sat next to Lani as Geo sat across from them.
"I'm sorry for saying what I said. It was wrong & didn't mean it." Yas said looking at Geo as tears dropped from her eyes
"If you didn't mean it then why say Yasmine ?" He asked
"Idk I was just just mad"
He shook his head "don't say hurtful stuff to people when you're mad. It isn't right, and Ik you wouldn't want people doing that to you"
She nodded "ok"
"Come here mama" he said causing her to walk over to him
He wrapped his arms around her little waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you" he said squeezing her gently
Yas giggled "I love you too"
"Awwww" Lani pouted
"Now. Why you ain't tell me that the girls at school were being mean to you ?"
"It doesn't matter Mir" she sighed
"It does matter. What you wanna do ? Change schools ? Want me come up there and cuss them out ?" He asked causing her to laugh
Lani shook her head "Geo"
"What ? I don't gaf how old them kids is they could get cussed out" he said
"No I don't wanna switch schools. I don't wanna leave Kade" she said getting off Geo lap
He scrunched his face "who tf is Kade ?"
"Kayden" Yasmine said causing Lani to laugh
"It's her best friend"
"You have a best friend that's a boy ?" Geo asked
"Yea. Is that illegal ?" She asked
"Yes- No" Geo and Lani both answered at the same time
"No it's not illegal baby" Lani said
"He's the only person whose nice to me & he sticks up for me" Yas explained to Geo
"I guess I need to meet this lil nigga" he replied
"Okay, is everyone good ?" Lani asked looking at the two
They both nodded "yup"
"Good. Yas we gotta get you ready so we can go get some breakfast" Lani said
"Okay" Yas replied running towards Lani room
Lani walked over to Geo as he stood up.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pecked his lips.
"Let's have a kid" he said causing Lani to shake her head
"You lost me" she said walking to her room
Geo laughed and followed behind her.
"You got work today ?" He asked her
She shook her head "Nah"
"Damn you been off a lot lately, everything good ?"
She nodded slowly "mmhm"
Geo turned her head towards him "what happened ?"
"I'm on suspension" she sighed
He scrunched his face "what ? Why didn't you tell me anything ?
"It wasn't nothing to tell. Kinda embarrassing"
"Mamas- Lani I'm readyyy" Yasmine yelled cutting him off
"I'm coming"
"We gonna talk about this later" Geo said grabbing Lani hand
She nodded before walking into the bathroom.

"These pancakes are sooo good" Yasmine said as she ate her chocolate chip pancakes
Geo took a piece of her bacon and ate it.
"A'mir" she said as he laughed
"Lani tell him stop eating my stuff"
Lani shook her head "stop eating her stuff Geo"
They all sat at this breakfast place that was close to Lani's apartment.
Geo smiled before looking at Lani "how long is it ?" He asked referring to the suspension
"3 weeks" she sighed
"3 weeks ? For fighting?" He asked causing her to nod
"Yup" she replied
"They still paying you ?" He asked
"Nope, it's like I'm temporary fired" she rolled her eyes
"But it's cool. I don't even wanna think about it" she said sipping her juice
Geo shook his head and continued eating.
Once everyone was done they paid for the food and went to the car.
"Wassup King" Geo said answering the phone
"Geo. Ma gone bruh" he said causing Geo heart to drop once again for the day
"What ?" He asked causing Lani to look over at him
"Your mom. She passed away in her sleep" King said causing Geo to shake his head before hanging up
"Everything okay ?" Lani asked
"She's gone" he said causing Lani to gasp
She looked back at Yasmine playing a game on her iPad.
Geo started the car "maybe you should let me drive" Lani said to him
He shook his head and pulled off "I got it"
