Janner speaks to Sarah;
Blue eyes, like cloudless skies,
They reminded me of life before the bitter lies.
I felt my heart begin to race,
And it had nothing to do with the heat of that wretched place.
My spirit would have died that day,
If it hadn't been for you, I would never have gotten away.
I'd like to think I'll see you again,
But I can't say how that will happen, or even when.
And though It broke my heart to leave you behind,
My calling wouldn't keep me confined.
Is there more to us than there would seem,
Or should I just forget this feeling as only a dream?
But if, before you come, I should die,
Please forgive me, and don't think these words are just a lie.
Sarah speaks to Janner;
I have often wondered what happened to you,
And every night I dream of being with you, too.
I thought I was lost and forever bound,
Then a greater hope in you I found.
I saw the fire inside your eyes,
And it overcame all those vicious lies.
You were brave enough to ignore your fear,
And I heard your voice so loud and clear.
You never forgot your name,
And no one will ever forget you came.

But why is it that you are parted from me now?
