"Its lonely? Is that not what I yearned for? I'm conflicted for the first time in my life." My thoughts betray me as I come to a conclusion regarding my current lifestyle. I'm alone yet it seems that I don't quite appreciate that fact anymore. Before I strived for a isolated lifestyle as all I wanted was to be left alone but now a part of me is missing, the part of me that coloured this lifeless world of mine is missing, she is missing.
"When did I change this way? I suppose it was because of her that I changed this way."
Did I make a mistake in letting her go? No that is not the problem, she would have become too reliant on me if I didn't let her go similarly to how a part of me has become reliant on her now.
"My days are lonely now." The thought of loneliness constantly paraded my mind as I was sitting in class trying to listen to Chabashira sensei talk.

Alright where do you wanna meet and when?
Meet me in front of school in 15 minutes, wait for 10 minutes after I ask to go to the bathroom and ask the same question and then come meet me in front of school.
"Sensei can I go to the bathroom?"
"Sure you can go Kushida."
"Thank you." She got from her seat and looked directly towards me before giving me a sly smirk.
"Way to not make it obvious Kushida."
I counted down from her leaving the classroom until 10 minutes had passed.
"Sensei can I go to the bathroom?"
"Exactly 10 minutes after Kushida huh? Well at least you kids are specific when timing. Yes you may go Ayanokoji, see you tomorrow."
"Huh what do you mean see you tomorrow sensei? Ayanokoji is just going to the bathroom." Ike left confused by her statement asked Chabashira the obvious question.
"It's nothing for you to worry about Ike focus on solving your Calculus and Vectors worksheet, I need it by the end of day today."
"Oh shi- I mean yeah ok."
I knew I should have waited a minute or two longer to throw her off but I decided to go with my girlfriend's genius plan. The plan would have been genius if it wasn't used on Chabashira sensei that is. I mean she should know that sensei would time me to see if I make the same excuse especially when you smirk at me in front of everyone no?
Embarrassed inside I quietly got up with my worksheet in hand. As I passed by Kushida's desk I realized she forgot to hand in her worksheet before leaving.
"Just how forgetful and sloppy is my girlfriend?" I took her worksheet and handed both of them in to Chabashira sensei.
I exited the classroom and headed towards the front of the school where I saw my girlfriend quietly waiting for me.
"Right on time Kiyo"
"Yeah and because of that Chabashira sensei figured our whole plan out."
"What? How?!"
"A precise number such as ten is bound to catch her attention don't you think?"
"Whoops I should have gone with an odd number"
"Well no point in dwelling on it, let's go to the mall."
"Yay mall date with Kiyo!!!"
We arrived at the mall and headed straight to the movie theatre. Despite it being school hours there were quite a few couples moving around in the mall which made me realize how normal it must be for couples to skip school and go on dates.
"So what movie do you want to watch Kiyo?"
"Um.." my eyes wondered around the collection of movies which were on display. None of the movies looked particularly appealing to me but I suppose you can't tell much just from a poster. I looked towards Kushida who was currently busy examining a movie poster which she found quite intriguing.
If Not You, Then Who?
The title read. Judging by the poster it looked like a romantic movies and I know how much Kushida loves romance.
"I was thinking we should go watch this one." I pointed to the movie poster in front of Kushida.
"What no it's ok you don't have to cater to me. We can watch whatever you want Kiyo."
"Yeah and I want to watch this, seems interesting by the poster." That was a lie. The poster had nothing to catchy a person's eye nor was it visually appealing to look at but I learned from the internet and Kushida herself that sometimes you must make sacrifices when you are in a relationship.
"Ok if you insist I guess we will watch this one." She looked happy by my choice which made me glad that I chose correct.
I paid for the movie tickets and the popcorn and we made our way inside the movie theatre. There weren't many people in the theatre except for a few couples who had the same idea as us to skip school.
We both took our seats as the movie was about to begin.
"Hey Kiyo, before the movie begins I wanna tell you something."
"What is it Kushida?"
"I love you Kiyo, let's keep coming to dates like these forever alright?"
"Yeah you're right."
We watched the movie and went to a restaurant afterwards while discussing our opinions on the movie. Me personally I enjoyed the movie but I suppose it was due to the fact that I had such excellent company.
After dinner we went to go get ice cream and than walk around outside of the mall. I was really knew to the experience of eating ice cream so I just took the same flavour as Kushida did.
As we were eating ice cream I noticed Kushida had a little bit of it on her nose.
"Hey Kushida you have a bit of ice cream on your nose."
"Huh? Really?! Where?"
I moved forward and licked it of her in order to avoid the unnecessary instructions I would have to give her while she tried to find where it was.
As I moved my face back I noticed Kushida's face was beet red.
"What's wrong?"
"Kiyo you idiot you can't just do that to a woman's heart!!!!" She started playfully punching my arm but I did not understand what I did wrong.
"Take this!!!" She took her ice cream and put a little around my mouth.
"Haha you have a moustache now Kiyo. I honestly don't mind you with a moustache hahahaaaa .....
Looking at her smile I sent a silent prayer up to the heavens. "If you're listening, please let her be the one." I prayed with all my heart that this girl is the one who changes me.

"I'M YOUR GIRLFRIEND DAMN IT!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!!!"

"Ayanokoji wake up!" I felt something sharp claw into my skin as I awoke from my sleep. It was the infamous compass she always threatened to use on me.
"Ow that hurt."
"Well you weren't waking up in any other way. I let you sleep for 30 minutes but classes have ended long ago now it's time for you to head back to your dorm."
"My bad Horikita sorry for causing you so much trouble."
"It's not like you to doze off in class is something the matter?"
"No it's nothing I just felt tired today that's all."
"If you say so."
"See you tomorrow Horikita." I exited the classroom with only one thought in my mind.
"I wonder if she's doing alright."
