"Wassup Lani" Eli said as he opened the door
"Hii" I smiled walking in
"Where's Kianna ?" I asked him
"She ran to the store" he said causing me to Sigh
"She told me to meet her here" I said walking into the living room
"What the hell ?" I said seeing dymond sitting at the counter top
"Oh Lani this one of my close friends Dymond, Dymond this is Lani" Eli said causing me to roll my eyes
"We've met" I mumbled as I sat on the couch
"Bro what is up with this phone" I said as it froze for the second time today
"What's wrong with it ?" Eli asked sitting next to me
"It's been freezing all day & I just brought it two days ago" I said rolling my eyes
"It's the 15 ?" He asked which caused me to nod
"Let me see" he held his hand out
I handed him the phone and watched him carefully as he showed me what to do if it ever happened again.
"Thank you" I said seeing it working now
"No problem. Just update it, it's probably just a bug or something" he said causing me to nod
"So how you been Lani ?"
"I've been good, you ?" I asked texting Kianna
"Been chillin"
"You and Jayda still messing with each other ?" I asked out of curiosity
He chuckled "nah"
"Mmhm" I laughed
"Eli when are we leaving ?" his friend ask
"As soon as my sister get back" he said
She looked me up and down which caused me to laugh.
"Your so pressed by me" I said causing her to scrunch her face
"Ain't no one care bout you" she said getting back on her phone
I shrugged "guess that's what getting your ass beat will do to you"
Eli side eyed me "y'all fought ?"
Before I could answer Kianna came walking into the house.
"Bout time girl" I chuckled
"My bad. I had to run to the hair store." Ki said walking into the living room
"Unt uh Elijah, why tf you got this hoe up in my house ?" Kianna asked as she seen dymond
"Hoeee????" Dymond yelled
"Chill out Ki, we bout to leave now" Eli said
Kianna rolled her eyes "I don't care you should've never brought her here" she said
Eli waved Dymond over "see you later Lani" he said hugging Kianna before leaving out with Dymond behind him
Ki scoffed "Tuh. I can't believe he brought her up in here"
"You ready girl ?" She asked causing me to nod

"Ouuu this is cuteee" I said looking in the mirror
"Girl thank you for letting me try different styles on you" Ki said as I took a picture
I chuckled "no problem boo"
"You don't have to pay" she said
"I want too" I said handing her the money
"Thank you boo" she said
"Thank you. I'll see you later " I said grabbing my stuff
I left her house and made my way to mines.
It was currently 4:30 & I still had time to go home & chill before taking Yas to the movies later.
Once I arrived home, I got out the car and headed to my apartment.
"Hello ?" I said as I answered my phone
"Heyy Lani, what time should I have Yas ready ? " I heard Geo's mom asked
"Um around 7 & she can spend the night. If that's okay with you" I said walking into my apartment
"Okay that's fine. I'll have her ready, see you later honey" she said before hanging up
I took my hoodie off and placed it in the dirty clothes .
Hearing a knock on my door I quickly got up to see who it was.
I smiled "Heyy baby" I said opening the door
He nodded as he walked in the house.
I scrunched my face as I closed the door.
"You okay ?" I asked as I walked into the kitchen
"Where was you at today ?" He asked as he leaned back on the counter
I jerked my head back "what do you mean ?"
"Aaliyah. Don't play with me" he sighed
"I was at Kianna house getting my hair done" I said pointing to my hair
"So why I'm getting pictures sent to my phone of you and this nigga together, laughing and shit" he said causing me scrunch my face
"What nigga ?"
He pulled his phone out and showed me pictures of me & Eli sitting on the couch as he was fixing my phone, & us talking while laughing.
"Then the nigga got yo phone, tf he got yo phone for ?"
"Bae it's not even like that. I went to Kianna house to get my hair done, but she had ran to the store so he let me in." I explained
"Dymond took them pictures and sent them to you" I said
"Dymond ?"
"Yes. She was there with Eli" I said rolling my eyes
"So why he had your phone ?" He asked
"He was showing me how to fix it. Remember I told you it kept freezing" I said walking closer to him
My phone rang which caused us to look at it seeing it was Eli.
He nodded before taking his phone "Ight" he said
I sighed "Geo"
"I gotta go. I have a client in a couple minutes" he said causing me to raise my eyebrows
"So that's it ?"
"Yea. You explained what you needed too" he said picking up his keys
"Geo why are you upset ? " I asked following behind him
"I'm not. Go answer yo phone" he said as it rang again
I sighed as he left I walked back to the kitchen and grabbed my phone before answering.
"Hey Lani, you still at Kianna house ?" Eli asked
"No. I been left" I said
He sighed "I left something over there, but Ki ass can't answer the phone"
"Alright thank you" he said before hanging up
I shook my head before deciding to get ready.

"That was sooo fun Laniii" Yas said as we walked out the movie theater
I chuckled "I'm glad you liked it" I smiled
I opened the car door and let her get in before getting in the drivers seat.
"Your seatbelt on ?" I asked looking back at her
"Yup" she nodded
I started the car and pulled off, making my way home.
"Lani am I spending the night with you and mir ?"
"Idk if he's coming over but you are spending the night with me" I said as she nodded
"Yayyyy. Sleep over" she squealed
I chuckled "we bout to be up all night" I said causing her to clap
30 minutes later I pulled up into the parking lot for my apartment building and parked in my usual parking spot before turning the car off.
I opened the door and helped Yas out the car before grabbing her stuff.
"We can paint each other nails, bake cookies, tell each other secrets" Yas said as we walked towards the elevator
"Ouu we can do TikTok, do each other hair, watch movies" she continued
I chuckled "you've never been to a sleep over ?" I asked her
She sighed "not really. I don't really have much girl friends at school, just Kade"
"Kade is your little boyfriend ?" I asked as we stepped out the elevator
She laughed "No. I just said that to make Mir mad, Kade is actually my best friend. He's the only one I talk to in school, plus he takes up for me when the other girls are being mean to me"
"The other girls be mean to you ?" I asked
She nodded "yea, but I'm not stunting them. Kade said it's cause I'm pretty and their ugly with cooties" she shrugged
I opened the door and let her walk in before walking in behind her.
"Wow Lani, your house is so pretty" she smiled
I chuckled "thank you"
I closed the door and locked it before following behind her.
"Alright let's go take you a shower & then we can make some cookies" I said resting the stuff on the counter
She smiled "okay"
I walked to my room and sat her stuff on the bed before walking into the bathroom to start the shower.
I washed Yasmine up & got her ready for bed before getting myself together.
Once I was done showering & doing my night routine I walked out the bathroom seeing Yas lay in on the bed watching YouTube.
"You falling asleep on me already boo ?" I asked causing her to shake her head
"Noo I was waiting on you. Can we make the cookies now ?" She asked getting up
"Yeah come on" I chuckled
We walked into the kitchen and I pulled out all the stuff we'll need.

"Can I live with you ?" Yasmine asked as we sat on the couch eating cookies while watching Rapunzal
I looked at her "you wanna live with me ?"
She nodded "yea. I like being around you plus I've always wanted a sister. I know my mom is sick and she's gonna be in heaven soon then I'll have to move in with A'mir, but I wanna live with you. I like being with you Lani" she said causing me to pout
"Yas, I'd love to have you staying here but you have to stay with your brother. He's going to take care of you, but I'll always be here & you can spend the night whenever you want" I said
She nodded before laying her head on my shoulder "thanks Lani"
It was 1 am in the morning and the movie finally ended and Yasmine was knocked out completely.
I lifted her up and placed her in my bed before covering her with the blanket.
I walked back out the room and grabbed the juice and plated from off the coffee table before throwing them away.
Scrunching my face at the knock on my door I walked over to it and looked through the peephole.
I rolled my eyes before opening it & walked away.
Geo walked inside and closed & locked the door behind him.
I stood in the kitchen washing the cookie pan as he walked in.
"Where she at ?" He asked looking at me
"Sleep" I replied dryly
He sighed before sitting down "you messing with him again ?"
"Who Geo ?" I asked rolling my eyes
"Don't catch no attitude with me Kay'Lani" he said
"I can catch whatever I want with you. You been ignoring me all day over some dumb ass pictures" I said drying my hands
He sighed "answer the question bruh"
"No Geo I'm not messing with him . Today was the first time we've talked in months"
"So why tf that nigga think it's okay to call you Lani" he asked raising his voice
"Lower your voice Yas is sleep in my room" I said
He chuckled "I missed you" he said
"Your being Toxic Geo" I said as I shook my head
"Alright. My fault, I apologize for ignoring you. I just had to think for a minute"
"About what ? You don't trust me or something ?"
"It's not that mamas, how would you feel if someone sent pictures to your phone with me laughing in a bitch you don't like face ? Then they calling my phone" he said standing up
I sighed as he walked over to me "I get where your coming from, but I still explained everything to you & you still ignored me "
"I'm sorry mamas, I seen that nigga calling you and it through me off" he said
I rolled my eyes "mmhm. I'm still mad with you" I said pushing him away
He pulled me into him and pecked my lips.
"Unt uh." I said
"Really Lani ?" He asked causing me to laugh
"Yup" I said as I walked out the kitchen
He followed behind me and turned the light off.
