I was walking down the street the street to my favorite café.
Was on my phone deciding what song j should play next but I bumped into someone and my phone fell on the ground.
"Oh my God I'm so sorry I wasn't looking" I said while picking up my phone.
I looked up seeing who I bumped into
Sharky, my ex boyfriend.
"It's fine y/n you don't need to worry I'm sorry too" Sharky said.
"Where are you going anyway?" Sharky asked me.
"To the café, u wanna join me?" I asked.
U see sharky and I didn't broke up on bad terms.
"Yea would love to join you" Sharky said.
"Great then let's go"
We walked to the café and had small talk on the way.
We sat down and,ordered what we wanted, I ordered a mocha and a chocolate cupcake. Sharky ordered a black coffee and a pice of cake.
"I heard your brother got married"
"Yes he did it was beautiful you should have been there" I said to him remembering the day.
"I wish I was there ur brother deserv it" he really did.
"Is that the necklace I gave you?" Sharky asked me looking at my neck.
"Oh ehm yes actually it is, it's one of my favorites jewelry. I hope you don't mind that I still wear it."
"No no I always thought it looked good on you. I still have a,picture from us in my wallet. It's the day from our first date, one of my favorite memories" Sharky said and I was definitely not expecting this.
"It was a beautiful day ur right, but I bet ur hoes don't like that" I said jokingly to him.
"I never had anyone after you. Did you meet someone else?"
"No I didn't our break up was really hard for me" I said remembering how sad I was the we broke up.
"It's sad that we didn't worker out, I was really hoping it would last" finishing my sentence.
"Yea I was hoping that too"
And it got silent.
Neither of us said a word for a minute or two.
"I still love you y/n"
